if it sucks generally hit da bricks yes. but there are also going to be times in life where you have to stay in uncomfortable or sucky situations because the only way out is through. and that is how life works. sometimes you have to keep that terrible job or that shitty apartment. this site's policy of "don't sink years of your life into something that's not going to be worthwhile" can kind of turn into "immediately stop doing anything you don't like" sometimes and that bothers me

i have a poll request based on a poll that was posted on here probably a few weeks ago by the time this is posted

the poll was about gender neutral public bathrooms, specifically with stalls and some women in the notes were strongly against them, saying they wouldn‘t want to see men’s genitals. and because the poll was specifically about bathrooms with separate stalls it got me wondering:

have you ever seen a stranger‘s genitals in a “female” public bathroom that had stalls only?

#i’ll echo what two comments have said: #1. i assume this doesn’t include changing rooms that also have toilet or shower stalls (eg at the pool) #2. i’ve never seen a stranger’s genitalia in the mens bathroom either #i don’t use the urinal but i assume the people making these complaints wouldn’t either #like. people still want privacy. they’re not flashing their dicks around the whole room just because they’re peeing in an open space #even if you’re using one of those wall urinals (rather than separate ones) you’d probably only see if you were actively looking #like this whole conversation annoys me so much #there’s this assumed massive difference in how explicit the mens and womens bathrooms are and it’s really just not true #even at a multi-person urinal YOU ARE THE WEIRD ONE if you look at someone else’s genitals
