…And so you worshiped at the feet of CM Punk. 

It was a downward spiral and you circled the drain before you’d even known it. Oh, to trade one addiction for another… you hoped God could forgive you. 

The thought brewed in your mind. Dark storm clouds filled your head heavily with an impending sense of horror. When you felt the gentle caress of Punk’s fingertips across your cheekbones, the clouds broke. Tears flooded your eyes and began to roll down your cheeks and over his fingers. 

“Don’t you feel better? Don’t you feel clean? ” Punk whispered. His voice echoed around you like a haunting. You would’ve liked to say that there was no semblance of wickedness in his eyes, but why play God for a fool?

“Yes… but…”

Pain radiated through your nerves. Every muscle in your head twisted and stretched with exhaustion. You’d do anything for another sip of liquor. You’d do anything for Punk’s admiration. 

“But what?”

“For how long will this go on?”

His hand came to rest on the back of your head. It scared you how much you needed his touch. It calmed you down almost immediately. Now you knew it was okay to relax. Your body bit back at your now rested weight pushing down on your knees. Let them get scraped.  

“What if I told you I could make it all more bearable?”

The fluorescent lighting seemed to brighten behind his head, an aura of yellow-white glistening through strands of dark hair. If you reached out to touch him would he really be there? Was he not a trick of your mind, an illusion to sink you further into despair?

“I’ll do anything.”

“Anything… anything. Close your eyes for me.”

You squeezed your lids shut. The darkness behind them was well needed. The light from Punk was getting to be overwhelming. You wondered just what he could do for you to make all the pain go away. 

“Will you bless me?”

Punk paused at your words. He didn’t expect the desperation in your voice. If anything, it only spurred him on. Made him more comfortable with what he wanted to do. 

“Yes.”

Things were all a blur. There was no point in thinking about the circumstances that led you to this point. The only thing that was worth focusing on was how to please. And to please was to pray. There was more than one way to pray, not only through the act of speaking. Your mouth opened as if to sing a hymn and slowly became filled with him. 

It was a slow affair. There was no need to make the act more obscene than it already was. Punk knew what this was. It was more about the means to the end, the journey of it all. To see you so pliable below him was more pleasurable than the act itself he realized. A contented sigh escaped from his lips. The warmth of your mouth was slightly overbearing. 

“I look down at you now and see a saint. My saint.”

The bobbing of your head came to an abrupt stop to look up at him with a red rimmed wet sparkle in your eye. A saint. You couldn’t believe it. Yes, this made all of your former suffering worth it. Doing anything for this man, this— 

Prophet?

When he pushed deeper down into your throat, you thought that was it. You’d reached your end. Breathing was still possible but wasn’t even a priority in your lust soaked brain. You wondered why a sinful act made you feel so holy. Perhaps it was due to the sounds Punk made above you. Deep breaths and strained moans healed your tainted spirit. You were on your way to true salvation. 

The thrusts of his hips began to pick up pace. He was ready to give you what you needed. Out of all his followers, you were his favorite. You were the one who had put in the most effort and the one who’d suffered the greatest. You’d walked the straight and narrow path to a clean life. Now it was time to show you just how proud he was of you. 

“You’re perfect. I’ve always believed in you.”

All of his words had sent you careening towards the edge too. You were sure that if you reached down to pleasure yourself you’d be reprimanded and punished, and there would be nothing worse than that. Restraint was difficult but much better than the alternative. Your mind conjured images of reaching down to touch yourself and show Punk just how much you respected him. All you wanted to do was chant his name, over and over in the throes of ecstasy. Maybe one day after you continued to prove yourself. 

“Here it comes—“

Warm fluid filled your mouth in a rush. It was bitter tasting but no more bitter than any liquor you’d ever consumed. Even though you’d been down on your knees for what felt like hours, the peak was reached so soon. Punk’s nails dug into your scalp as he pushed your head to the base of himself. He knew he was choking you. It took him a few seconds to actually care. He slowly dragged himself out of your mouth, like he was in pain to leave. The saintliness you emitted had faded from his vision. You were once again just you. In that moment, just you was good enough.

The deep breath you took made you feel alive like you’d never felt before. It was amazing— your muscles no longer ached. Your memory must have played a trick on you… you weren’t even sure if you were truly feeling real pain before he entered you.

That very special light glowed behind Punk again when he held his hand out to help you raise off of your knees. His lips planted a loving kiss on your forehead, the metal of his lip ring feeling alien on your overheated skin. Your body flooded with affection and desire for him. 

“Let’s go. It’s time to spread the good word.” His smile was easy, yet mocking. Most likely because of how absolutely wrecked you looked with smudged mascara and a wet chin. It was easy to ignore his expression when he kept his grip on your hand, fingers wrapping around yours. You were his best disciple. The people had to see just how devoted you were. 

This was the blessing you worked for. This was the blessing you deserved. To worship at the feet of CM Punk.

SO TRUE revali is out here making gif sets of link and dissecting all of his lyrics but he would absolutely deny this to like.. urbosa and his other irls

im apparently incapable of coming up with my own plot ideas so im gonna take inspiration from a personal favorite of mine 🤭 im getting blueberry eyes vibes from this prompt, like what if revali posted like, kpop dance covers or smth and he streamed himself learning dances, and link, during a break from one of his schedules, comes across revali's channel and watches his streams, and he's really impressed! because it's a super hard dance, like guerrilla or something. so link subscribes (with his anonymous personal account sjdbsjf, so it's not obvious that he's a famous idol) and keeps coming back whenever revali goes live. and revali recognizes this anonymous username as a regular viewer of his, and so occasionally they'll have a conversation through the chat box. and revali learns that link dances too! (he doesn't realize that link is the original artist for several of the songs revali has covered) and so they talk about dances and kpop for a bit which is fun goodbye my ideas are so bland

ANYWAYS yes revali is also running a stan account for link. tbh I'm not super familiar with a lot of soloists so I don't have a great example of what kind of an artist link would be. even though I've talked about him being a hip hop dancer here and here, I think if he were a soloist I'm getting jimin vibes from him? like esp face era, the more contemporary vibes of like crazy along with the powerful vocals of set me free pt2, I rlly feel like link would have that all-rounder vibe with an emphasis on angsty contemporary yk? but occasionally he'll do a fun song like pop or gogo just to vibe, which is honestly so slay of him

when link has a comeback, first revali streams the fuck outta the mv, like it has 2M views in the first 12 hours and revali is definitely responsible for half of those views. haters are talking about how much the song sucks or whatever and revali is in the comments on ALL those posts defending his fave to the max 😭 after he's done doing that, he starts making gif sets and reblogging fanart ppl made. then he writes an entire essay on how this song changed the industry and how link is more talented that anyone else's faves. meanwhile urbosa is like girl stop fangirling in your room come outside and touch some grass 🤨

then after that, revali goes live to start learning the choreo for the title track (which is actually insane because the song just came out a day ago and he's learning it based on one fancam from the comeback stage). and link sees him learning his dance and is like literally so impressed bc?? it's a very hard dance and he has to admit that revali is talented by learning it just from one video

when did you watch bad buddy/join the fandom?

december 14, 2021, when i decided to binge what my twitter mutuals have been hyping about on my tl for weeks.

i had been on a hiatus prior to that, having just been suffering from julie and the phantoms brainrot, that it surprised me that my old fandom mutuals were moving on collectively to another show. so many tweets analyzing and raving about the show caught my attention because i'm all about those, those are my cup of tea, especially the night of episode 5 airing. i watched a clip of the rooftop scene and i wanted to know why they were crying and why one of them walked away, so i had it on my watchlist. i was still busy with schoolwork though so i didn't get to actually start watching until two weeks later, four days after episode 7 aired (hence 12/14/21) at 10 PM with my sheets pulled up. it was me and my phone against the world.

yes i made it worse because that week was my finals—but to my defense, to my defense, i had already finished half of it and was close in finishing the other half of my exams.

joined the fandom like not even an hour later after i binged 1-7 because i came on twitter and was met with a warm welcome.

favorite ship(s)

patpran and inkpa. i have my fair share of liking rare pairs (clary and izzy from shadowhunters tv, riley and farkle from girl meets world, quinn and rachel from glee) but for shows like these, nah. haha the main pairs really do it for me.

favorite character(s)

pat - mans was so relatable. sexually fluid, thought he had a crush on his different-gendered friend but turned out to be in love with someone who is of the same gender who was right in front of him the whole time. became closer to different-gendered friend after confessing to them i'm totally not projecting haha what do you man

ink - ah, ink nolastname my beloved. introduced as a red herring but ended up having her own sapphic love story?? no other girl in a bl could ever.

junior - i thought he'd just be a one-episode side character but him serving the story in multiple ways got to me. he felt like patpran's child which is so cute, but also a representation of the freedom patpran's own kid selves could have had.

favorite episode(s)

3 - falls under the romcom formula of pat just following pran around like a dumb oblivious puppy and while we the audience are attuned to pran's perspective, once you rewatch episode 3, you realize how much pat has not been lying about how he feels for both pran and ink and that his behavior says it all.

5 - do you even need to ask. i'm pat-biased so him speedrunning his sexuality was so funny and so devastating at the same time.

10 - some people have said that i'm a masochist for this one. but in all seriousness when i first watched it (which was via iWant and not YouTube, so i had no interruptions of 4 parts and got to watch all four parts immediately and earlier than everyone else because if you didn't know back when it was airing, the premiering of the parts would have an interval of around 5-15 minutes each) it felt so long and advanced the plot the most. it had all: inkpa getting together, patpran being adorable annoying bfs, and learning about their generational trauma. yikes! i loved the angst of it all.

one thing you would change about the show if you could

just one??? i mean haha sure...

the whole plot of wai getting mad at pran and how they resolved it. like come on man, the best friend hates when one lies to the other trope is so lame and overused. it's not just pat getting shot, it was the whole thing of the archi gang being unfairly mad without bothering to learn about why he lied. if they didn't feel like side characters then who are just there to put external conflict and less like actual friends who got hurt from the secret, they certainly acted most like it in episode 9.

what are your some of your favorite fanworks made by other people?

i made a fanfic recommendation thread and i have a couple of bbs edits saved in all of tiktok, instagram, and twitter, but if i had to really narrow it down, that'd be tough. hmm.

gif - i search @pranpats' pat breaking silently post every few months to make myself cry whenever i need a good one. my baby boy my baby boy i love him so much. i tuck him in bed and give him nong nao. btw the sharpening of this gif made pat's tears so much clearer and i want to hurl myself off of a balcony thanks.

fic - from the tide by fruti2flutie is a popular fanfic but it deserves the hype. i was blown away by its character dynamics and style of writing that i wrote an original story inspired from its worldbuilding/power system for my fiction workshop class. the river can't go back by unsungyellowraincoat is poetic heaven.

art - last one to propose loses by cubedmango + rooftop wedding by @thatgothsamurai = my our skyy actually.

animatic - Ur SOUL Ur BodY by RENii•EXE has so many shots that made me question my entire existence, namely pran pressing pat's hand into the bedsheets (0:41). it's so good. 10/10.

animation - I am not your ocean anymore by @architectxengineer is incredible. watching this broke my heart in the best possible way. the visual of how pran and pat stumble into their room in episode 11 is such a cute scene to fill the gap of.

edit - mae's safety net is a personal favorite because it was first uploaded on my birthday, i could never get tired of it as i kept watching it for months on end, and then there was that time it was archived on mae's instagram but she was kind enough to unarchive it for me (alongside her other incredible bbs edits!) huhu ily. and then another objectively well-made one is 7 things by mic that is deservedly popular on twitter, not to mention the very intentional use of colors from all of pran's markers/color pencils! HOW. COOL. IS. THAT.

text - In Fair Verona by @shortpplfedup is an analysis/commentary scenepost series that i fell in love with and tuned into as the episodes aired. it details the main romeo and juliet allegory as well as points out its differences. it's so so pretty and insightful and a delight to read. read all of it, guys. please.

visual edit - among all my photo edits, my untranslatable words one almost made it here but i gotta hand it to my bad idea storyboard. if i could only draw, i would have animated the shit out of this tbh.

video edit - all the stars kind of flopped in reception which was a bummer considering no one knows i spent an embarrassingly long time working on it (...9 hours) but now you do haha.

fanfic - the rest are drabbles anyway so i don't even think this can count as a favorite if it's only one lmao but it's my Teen Wolf AU anamnesis (28k, 4 chapters, fin). really enjoyed the season 6 binge for educational purposes :DD and writing pranink, pranpa, patink, and the jindapat siblings was one of the best parts. my true ot4.

other - i wrote something about patpran that was not prose. it's post velum (which is latin for behind the curtain, the name of the novel) and it's poetry about each episode of bad buddy + our skyy. oh and my patpran as percabeth series that i mostly only did for like,, two people.

a taylor swift song feels like cheating because every ship can be associated to a taylor swift song but still. daylight is perfect. i once believed love would be burning red? pre-relationship patpran. the rivalry is so fiery that they thought they wouldn't have the space to be soft. but it's golden. established relationship patpran. they are the healthiest teenaged boyfriends ever. their relationship endures for years and glows.

idk anything else you want us to know?

i don't really agree with thinking bad buddy is the perfect show and that it had the perfect ending. i still understand the direction and the decision to go with those and other more questionable choices, but i like recognizing the show's flaws. tons and tons of it. from the technicalities of production to the actual writing. especially knowing the show's behind the scenes and what happened from the mock trailer's official announcement and the gp's initial (horrible) reception, to this show finally airing and its first four episodes being in the trenches when it comes to ratings (haha the bbs nugu era), to the ending of episode 5 breaking the internet to the point of being recognized in the following gmmtv 2022 presscon, then to the steep rise to the peak.

...especially knowing those made me love the show more inside out. tldr; i'm a "bad buddy is a very flawed show and i love it" type of person.

CPN : snow heart, skiing, voice messages & thinking of each other. 💛💌💭

This is my version of how various events connect to one of the most loved bxg candy. @untamedconnotations already talked about it before over here. I feel like everyone knows this already but I just need a play by play and to see if there are more clues. Again. This is CPN. ⛔️

PART I. DC Wrap party

Douluo Continent held their wrap party, 7/3/2019 and it gave way to one of people’s favorite video of GG. Xiao laoshi looking up the sky and watching some fireworks, celebrating with the cast and chilling. It’s like he’s still filming and is the main character when he was just being his normal self. Fans gave comments when this video started going around such as :

"He is lonelier than fireworks, with stars in his eyes"

“The final video after Douluo ends, Xiao Zhan looks at the smoke in the crowd fire. The surroundings were very lively and the fireworks were dazzling. But he seems to be an island. What was he thinking at that time? How much effort and hardship he has put in for his dream.”

and yes I must admit it was a sight to see. He looked like a mix of lonely, hopeful and content. but was he really ‘alone’ in this moment? Well here comes the important of our CPN : at some point, He looked at his phone— listened to a voice message + recorded one himself. All of these wrap up fireworks and stuff were happening at around 8:50 PM. If you watch the fancam, what makes it more endearing is how he smiled softly while using his phone. So it makes it more 👀.

Who is he talking to???

Well, the same day, an episode of CQL was airing and they both posted about it. GG even tagged Web. Now look at the time, before the whole fireworks thing— Web already posted and he was at work too. Then, 20:54 minutes after the fireworks started, GG forwarded a post. Remember at this time, they don’t have ‘studios’ to do this kind of work for them. They had to do the interaction themselves. Yes they have an assistant but not a ‘team’ like they do now. So with this, It’s not a stretch to think that these two probably had a conversation going on. Did Web see GG tagged him and thought— well, let me send him something. Let me show zhan-ge what i’m up to now.

after this fireworks display and voice messages he continued on and made this heart gesture 👇🏼. This is the last part of the fancam.

Why did he do that, why a heart in particular?

The next part of this story might give us a clue.

PART II. Extreme Youth episode 9 ( Skiing )

On the other side is WYB at work ( 7/3 - 7/4 2019 ) and shooting an episode of EY. How do we know this? It was posted.

“Variety show "Extreme Youth" on the 3rd and 4th Jiangbei Sunac Park recording, guests include Cheng Xiao, Wang Luodan, Wang Yibo”

So, WYB was carving a heart made out of snow. Unprompted. There was no challenge or whatever that instructed him to make one. He was just there, minding his own business and making his masterpiece carefully. ❄️🤍

After that, he goes out of frame and the segment continues. People on the barrage/live comments were actually asking where is he. Some even commenting maybe he was still playing with that heart made of snow.

Where is he. What is he doing.

If you’re asking a clown, he took a photo of the heart and sent it to GG. We know WYB is someone who is particular with how he takes photos ( as evidenced below). So he probably stepped out, took his time to snap a photo and sent a message. If you add GG making that heart sign as well then what are the chances of these 2 people doing a 🤍 sign between a close span of time. Coincidence? Also, you have this video (1:26) where a staff was caught saying what sounds like “xz” in the segment after the skiing portion. Take it or leave it. This is not the first time each other’s name were caught in places where they shouldn’t be.

Part III. Other Clues and connections

A. The Day after - 7/4/2019

GG posted a variety of photos and with selfies. What seems to be out of place is a Dog. Who is gouzaizai? Well. The same one who wears a bone necklace all the time. 🦴 Yibo also posted showing him skating and continuing on with his shoot.

B. Their wish to ski together & Bobo necklace

• This one is a CLUE. In this SINA interview at 6:19, they start talking about their plans to go skiing. How it started since last year, but then Bobo said he went skiing first and that he SENT A PICTURE. Does this confirm our speculations or what? At the very least, it confirms they send photos to each other of what they are doing. They have that communication open.

• GG said it himself in a separate interview. They both had plans to ski and hopefully if they have time, they will. Some long time fans even said it was not usual for GG to share things like this but he did.

• Another example was this interview ( same one with zgsg )

“what are your thoughts if a variety show arrange for both of you to ski together?”

xiao zhan & yibo: wah~ can!

yibo: i’ll teach him

xz: forget about it

yb: why not?

xz: you just know how to ski not long ago?

• Qeelin skiing necklace that GG wore during promotions and even after. I talked more about Qeelin here and it’s significance if you have no idea why it’s important.

In an episode of TTXS, he also said he wanted to Ski. Even last year, in his fanmeet Bobo mentioned wanting to ski even if it wasn’t one of the choices. Plus his not-really-a-selfie selfie this year. I can go on and on, it’s so obvious that it’s what they both want to do together. That if one is doing it, he’ll definitely tell the other. My CPN brain tells me this is not limited to skiing topics. They will send each other photos ( or videos ) of what they are doing.

C. Both of them likes making voice messages

We first see this in the Yibo’s 21st birthday video where Web is recording one. Yin zheng also once posted a voice message sent by WYB about his moto riding but what later deleted. He uses it himself instead of typing things out ( said in an interview ). I can’t find ones for GG except for that video and we have limited fancams of him actually using his phone post his CQL popularity. It’s just so personal, sending a voice message. I’m jealous. Lol. Photos and Video are one thing, but to have voice clips of your s/o is something else. I am happy with candies like this cause it shows how willing they are to stay connected. And to think it’s not just them talking about their day but imagine GG singing and sending it to WYB. Ah. 😭😭😭

Bonus: Fake rumor that GG was talking to someone on the phone, post Web’s moto accident. He was saying “be worthy of your heart”. Who knows if he was actually talking or he can also be recording a voice message right? 🎤

Yibo and his 🤍 fixation + GG following suit with that requires a whole different post altogether. However a few examples would be : heart shape @ loreal fanmeet, heart in the water @ summer surf shop, their own uniq finger heart sign for each other, GG’s valentines day drawing etc etc. It is a recurring theme.

PART IV. Conclusion

I have always been a believer of this CPN and this is really just for me to have it on my blog. I cannot NOT have this special candy discussed. At the end of the day, we’re all just speculating. Whether you believe they were talking to each other that night or that they are in a romantic relationship, I think it’s clear that there is/was something. No one can deny that. && BXGs will always be here for them.

it's been a long quarantine, hasn't it? in a way i feel guilty because of all and any times, this long downtime is when i could have been most useful to everyone. i guess i was focusing on my own coping. it's been quite uneventful for me — i have been healthy and have steady employment that takes good care of me. in fact, i've been watching a lot of korean panel shows! of all the of the international panel show cultures i've explored, theirs has certainly been the most provocative and engaging after the british. i can put together some recommendations sometime :) i feel sorry to have fallen behind a series or so on some of my favourite british panel shows, but i'm catching up swiftly! i'll make sure to make lots of gifs for you guys ❤️

for anyone who has yet to read alan davies' novel just ignore him, i would recommend the following cw for child abuse and sexual abuse, and please keep in mind graphic elements aside, the foundation of the novel is dark and disturbing. of course, it's part of a greater narrative that is at times very funny and indeed very touching, but it's not light reading like one of susie dent's novels. feel free to send in any of your thoughts! i'll make a post about my own soon~

yes, i loved gossipmongers and am a huge fan of joe wilkinson — which you guys know, and i wouldn't want anyone to get the impression i'm deaf to criticism of him (i have been quite the opposite in the past with acaster, for example). i watched this video about the situation, which was quite good, and he made a great point that we really don't know much about the situation and are left with an almost endless number of questions: why did they feel it necessary to effectively end their friendships (that we don't know the history or depth of, to be fair) with poppy? did they really feel she was detrimental to the show? if so, then why not simply end the podcast and begin a new one with just the two blokes? if i had to guess — and this is where i hope you don't mistake me for being a joe wilkinson apologist — i would say joe and david go way back (example) and poppy and david go way back (as mentioned in the video i linked before, they've been friends since 2012), but joe and poppy don't necessarily go way back. as friends, professional colleagues, or both. perhaps it didn't feel particularly ruthless, to joe, to cut her off in a "professional" manner, i.e. through their agents, if he was unhappy with the creative dynamic of the podcast. he is the most show biz of the three of them, when you think about it. david, on the other hand...yikes... i wish i had a better answer for you then "we don't know what happened and all we can do is trust events unfolded in a more or less fair way based on a set of personal details we are not privy to", but i don't... if you feel disappointed, that is very fair. seems like there was definitely um messy miscommunication at best :(

Sunshine Naps (Pillow Talk series)

AN: Let’s see if y’all are still here after me being MIA since... forever. I’m really proud of this one since the Yoongi one, so be... EXTRA NICE. I wrote the Pillow Talk WIP for Jungkook, then Taehyung, then Hobi, yet I finished Hobi’s first. Sooo, I may be posting Jungkook’s next week... if you guys are really nice. In the early stages of dating Hoseok, it mostly consisted of me just noticing the little things about him. He is not a picky eater, but he is sensitive to the taste of anything he drinks, whether it be water, juice, alcohol. He makes his famous sound effects when he finds something adorable, something I thought he only did on-screen but is an actual personal habit. He sleep-talks when he is absolutely tired but settles for non-coherent mumbles on okay days.

I don’t seem to remember a day that Hoseok didn’t make me laugh or smile ever since he told me he was interested in us being… more than friends. Even on busy days or during comeback season, he’d always send me at least one text a day just asking how I was and was never short of his sunshine personality. My personal favourites were the videos of him just goofing around. For some reason, Jimin and Taehyung found out about our little routine, and soon enough, they would also send me funny pictures of Hoseok making faces at rehearsal or him snoozing in a corner.

Though Hoseok can have his low moments, he always tries to pull himself up by making me smile. “Seeing you smile makes me feel better,” he once said. “You’re my sunshine.”

I may have shoved Hoseok off his seat out of embarrassment back then. Once he knew my little ticks, he would never stop reminding me how I affected him as much as he affected me. It was safe to say that I was absolutely smitten with my very own sunshine, and even though I never told him that, he knew. He just knew.

Almost half a year in our relationship, both of us were contented with the usual sleepovers with heated make out sessions. Then again, he would be too busy with training and I, battered from working late nights at my desk job. We didn’t mind one bit. We were just glad that we got to cheer each other up after a long day at work.

Fortunately, he had an entire month-long break, and with much pleading to my boss, I managed to take a couple weeks off work. Luckily, it matched the day that Hoseok would arrive back from L.A. Since he wouldn’t arrive ‘til after lunch, I had an early brunch with Ji Woo to drop Mickey because she was going out of the country for vacation as well.

Ji Woo didn’t stay long and left shortly after brunch after giving goodbye cuddles to Mickey. She mentioned something about having to sort out her wardrobe and going back to her parents’ house before she left for the airport. Afterwards, it was just me and Mickey alone in Hoseok’s personal apartment.

“Are you up for a nap, Mickey?” I asked him, playing with the little ponytail on the top of his head. We weren’t necessarily close yet, but he knew that he would get pets and cuddles when I mentioned ‘nap.’

Mickey silently hopped on the couch and nestled himself on my stomach. I closed my eyes and got on to petting and scratching Mickey while humming some songs that randomly popped up in my mind. The repetitive movement and humming only made me drowsier until I actually fell sleep.

“Shh! Mickey, don’t wake her up!”

With my eyes still closed, I couldn’t help but smile after finally hearing Hoseok’s voice that wasn’t through the phone. I heard some faint rustling before I felt him sit on the edge of the couch. Then I felt a feathery kiss land on my lips, forcing me to open my eyes.

Holy shit.

“What on earth are you wearing?” I blurted out, my cheeks aflame.

“I went straight here from the airport,” Hoseok explained. “I wanted to see you as soon as possible, so I thought I’d change here.”

“You wore that from L.A. to Incheon?” I sat up and pointed around his outfit, which was literally just a denim jacket that he didn’t even button all the way through, revealing his chest and lower abdomen, and loose shorts that snuck a peek of his Balenciaga boxers.

Hoseok paused before smiling cheekily. “Yes?”

I blinked at disbelief. Without much thought, I pulled on the collars of his jacket and crashed my lips to his. In the middle of his surprise, I maneuvered him to sit on the couch and me on his lap.

My fingers wandered down to the buttons of his jacket and undid them, and when I got his chest exposed, I had my palms splayed over his bare heated flesh. When my fingertips not-so-accidentally grazed Hoseok’s nipple, he hissed as he tried to hold back a moan, pulling away against my lips. Still drowning in my lustful daze, I focused my attention to his neck, sucking and nibbling at the skin.

“[Y/n],” Hoseok moaned.

At the sound of my name, I snapped out of it, pulling away, but remained seating on his lap and on his very noticeable and still growing… friend. Those shorts were definitely not hiding anything. I looked up to Hoseok’s face and instantly wanted to jump out the window.

Hoseok had his signature surprised expression. I wasn’t sure if it was from the surprise of me jumping him out of nowhere, which was something I never did, or from our heated make-out session. Judging from his extremely flushed face and dilated pupils, I’m riding on the former.

“Do… do you wanna take this in there?” he asked, tilting his head in the direction of his bedroom.

Without hesitation, I answered, “Yes.”

It was only one round, but it was one very, very long round.

Hoseok was very unforgiving in trying to pry noises of all sorts of volume out of my mouth by feeling every inch of my body whether it be by his fingers or his mouth. Though I already knew he was fond of his sound effects, I was quite surprised over how vocal he was in bed. As if it was a contest, he would make sure I would moan louder than him, yet he couldn’t help moaning praises to me as well in the midst of it all.

By the time we were done, both of us were drenched in sweat. My head rested on Hoseok’s chest that was still rising and falling quite fast as we tried to catch our breath. He grabbed my hand from his abdomen and pulled it to his lips.

“So, we did that.”

“Yeah.” I hummed in reply, snuggling closer to him.

Hoseok chuckled and pulled me slightly up so he can shower feather kisses all over my face. “You did great, sunshine,” he whispered.

I preened at both the praise and the use of the nickname. I didn’t even have the heart to argue. He did most of the work – enjoyed it actually. Who knew those hips were lethal? Those Baepsae fancams couldn’t hold a flame to what I experienced a few minutes ago.

“Are you tired?” Hoseok asked.

“Aren’t you? That was a long flight you had. I should’ve let you rest,” I said, now sounding more concerned.

Hoseok just smiled and entwined our fingers together. “Don’t worry about it,” he chuckled. “I really did miss you. Who cares if I’m tired?” Suddenly, a yawn escaped him. “Okay, maybe a nap is in order.”

I laughed and closed my eyes. “Sleep then. I’ll be here,” I said, listening to his now steady heartbeat as a lullaby. Without realizing, I started to hum the first song that popped in my head.

After the chorus, Hoseok asked sleepily, “What song is that?”

“Hmm?” I replied in an equally sleepy tone.

“What song are you humming?”

I paused, trying to remember through my sleepy daze. “’Balisong,’” I answered after pondering. “By Rivermaya, I think?”

“Sing it to me.”

“Your face  Lights up the sky on the highway  Someday—”

I paused and began laughing softy when I forgot the lyrics straight from the beginning. As I rubbed my thumb over the center of Hoseok’s chest, I decided to just hum the rest of the first verse. It has been so long since I’ve heard this song, and with it coming out of the blue, only the chorus was clear to me… because it reflected how much I loved Hoseok.

ISAC 2017

Now that the recording is over I can talk about this without fearing it’ll get lost between updates and screaming.

First of all: DON’T REPOST/REBLOG/RETWEET PHOTOS OR VIDEOS THAT MAY SPOIL THE BROADCAST AND/OR THE RESULTS OF CERTAIN EVENTS I mean, I’m pretty sure most of us already know the results but please try to avoid spreading the spoilers as it’ll be easier for MBC to find them and they’ll end up cutting those parts. Don’t believe me? Well, remember last year how Tzuyu’s archery gif went viral before the broadcast? And how ARMYs kept sharing fancams of BTS’ performance during archery? This gave MBC editors a plausible excuse to cut short the entire archery event and it looked weird, you can tell it was an almost last minute edit. “Oh, but it had to be done because the entire broadcast was cut short” Yes and no. ONCEs knew how much the gymnastics event meant for Mina and even though she kept going everywhere with a hoop they tried their best not to spoil her routine. The time that could’ve gone to the archery event was used instead to show the footage of her practicing the routine the previous night. There was absolutely no reason to show that, having the MCs comment on how she had previously done perfectly during practice was more than enough, but they decided to add it because they had time to spare and ONCEs earned it since they played by the rules and didn’t spoil the event.

Now: STOP THINKING ISAC IS DANGEROUS. This is something that keeps bothering me every year. NO, IDOL STARS ATHLETIC CHAMPIONSHIP IS NOT A DANGEROUS THING TO DO. OF COURSE they can get hurt, just like everybody else when doing sports. Lately fans are treating idols like precious things that can’t get tired because that means they’re being overworked and need rest... Look, I get it. Being an idol is hard work, but complaining that ISAC should stop being a thing and that they should take better care of the idols participating to the point of spoiling your idol’s participation in hopes of them “not being invited anymore” is just dumb. Most idols join the games because they find it fun. Treating them like kids and demanding MBC treats them like they’re special only spoils their fun. This even made MBC remove futsal from their schedule. Do I need to remind you guys futsal was one of the most anticipated events by male idols to participate in? Same goes to basketball. They’re now considered “too dangerous”.  Futsal was VIXX’s Leo’s sport and it was taken away. BTS’ SUGA gave up on basketball so he could join BTS and (although it hasn’t been official) that’s another event that we’re taking away from him. This year Leo had to move onto archery, SUGA did so last year and now he’s trying the relay event because the one event each of them were looking forward to is gone. Yes, they are not athletes. Yes, they can barely squeeze time to prepare. Yes, they’re trying their best. No, they’re not being forced to participate in an event they don’t want or can’t take part of. No, they’re not being forcefully added to the lineup. All idols take part of any and every event the want to be part of. Remember when they had the high jump event? And (former) EXO’s Tao injured himself? NO ONE forced him to do it, he thought too highly of himself and ended up making a mistake which led him to the injury. He’s not an athlete but practiced really hard and tried his best, it earned him an injury but it was his own decision to join the event. While I agree that there being no news of injured idols is a good thing, you got to realize that you’re taking away one of the very little opportunities athletic idols have to show their talents.

Which leads me to: STOP ASKING FOR ISAC TO BE CANCELLED I don’t think you guys realize what you’re asking for. One thing it asking for safety measures and another is asking for the entire show to be cancelled. As I said before, you’re taking away one of the very little opportunities athletic idols have to show their talents. Rhythm Gymnastics are important for TWICE’s Mina and WJSN’s Cheng Xiao, without ISAC they won’t have another place they’ll get to show this. Asking for the games to be cancelled is asking for one of the very few opportunities idols have to be themselves and enjoy with their friends. Yes, it takes almost all day to film and that’s tiring but most of the time they’re hanging around enjoying themselves. It’s a schedule that takes all day and instead of running around sharing formalities, practicing the same routine over and over again, trying to get in time and act like the perfect idols they are, they get to run around, lay around, laugh and share with their fans.

My main point here is ISAC ISN’T AS BAD AS YOU’RE MAKING IT LOOK. TRY TO ENJOY YOURSELF JUST LIKE HOW YOUR IDOLS ARE TRYING TO HAVE A GOOD TIME.
