Happy Valentine's Day! I decided to draw Hisuian Typhlosion and Wixen together because I think they make a perfect Fire-themed pairing between two different games. Also, PalWorld is great!
Wixen (and two others) ends up sacrificing herself to break the curse on the land and reconnect Barovia to the rest of the world - by literally re-rooting it. She taps back into her druid magic (that had been corrupted) for a final huzzah, and gives up her long life to become a massive Willow tree. In doing so, she saves them all.
It’s a brave, honorable death that any Dragonborn would be proud of, but Imrath is lost in his grief for a few days. She is the first friend he has ever lost - the first ally that has ever died by his side in battle. He spends three days, without respite, just sitting under her branches; crying, praying, thinking, staring, crying some more...
Other people visit too. Some curious. Some thankful. Some mourning alongside him. One of the few voices that break through the haze is Ismark’s. He and Wixen hadn’t exactly had a romance, but something had been there. They grieve together.
I love that weird salute or gesture they do raising their arm to you when you pet them or they finish a work
I love that epic way they float to unleash their powers
I just love them nwn
I also have one in each of my bases since for me they are like the leaders/foremans/mayors of each of my bases xD and they all have a Katress assistant ;D jajaja
Felyx was the first one I got, I bought him from one of the Illicit Merchants :v so technically I released him from a brutal slaver and is now a community leader xD
To all my fellow prescription glasses wearers out there; an idea:
Enchant them
(I have worn prescription glasses since I was a child and have at times hated them and then came to love them and have now graduated to realizing their potential in my witchcraft...)
Enchanting an object is fairly straightforward in that you really only need an intention and the object you are enchanting, the addition of candles, incense, magickal symbols, sigils, seals or any other ingredients is for you to choose based on your preferences.
For my enchanted glasses I used my intention for each pair correlated to the color of the frames and tint. I used an incense that exemplified my desired intentions for the glasses and left each pair of glasses charging on my altar until complete.

"rose colored glasses" to help me see the optimistic side of life and with a little mood booster*
"wine blush" tint; enchanted with glamour and charisma boost to help in social situations*
"violet" tint; for spiritual vision and intuitive wisdom*
"ivy green" tint; with green thumb boost, for garden witchery*
"amber" tint; for sharp vision, focus enchanted and of course blocks blue light from screen time*
Besides being fun, the act of changing to different glasses for different reasons reinforces the mental aspect as well as the intent. Magick isn't about the objects we use but the will we imbue them with.
