“I have a surprise for you,” Kaeya had suddenly whispered in your ear, a familiar charming smile along his face.

There was a brief moment after, among the comforting warmth of his hand in yours and the closeness as you both walked home, where you feared your heart would detangle itself from you and fly away. It’s not like it’s metaphorically impossible, not when its none other than Kaeya Alberich, the cutest, kindest and most lovable man in Mondstadt who’s making it beat so fast. From the shy touches of his hand as he reaches for your own to the way he begins to fumble over his words when you compliment him back, it's hard not to smile and promise yourself that you'll give him the world and more.

But you digress, continuing to head home for the evening, a constant brushing and bumping of Kaeya's arm against yours, hands entangled and filling you with warmth. “Oh? Kaeya, you spoil me too much I swear,” you chuckle, giving his hand a squeeze.

“Not as much as I’d like to,” he responds, planting a kiss to your cheek. You open your mouth as if to tease him back, but the truth is you didn’t have anything more to say, so you shook your head and kept walking. By time you both got home the moon was high, stars dotting the indigo canvas that was the night sky.

Stepping through the door Kaeya grabs your hand, giving it a kiss before asking you to stay right there while he goes to grab your gift. Nodding, you watch as he leaves with a happy smile, giddy and obviously in love as he strides up the stairs. A myriad of possibilities circle your mind - perhaps he got you a new shirt? Or maybe it’s a book? Or or, maybe it’s something small like your favourite snack? - but all of them turn out to be wrong when the man reappears with a decent sized bouquet.

Your heart does a flip, breath getting caught in your throat. “For you, just because,” he says, handing you the flowers. Without even needing to smell them their fresh fragrance wafts towards you, relaxing you further than you already were.

“Really?” You raise a brow, smiling as you look from the flora to him and back (you can’t help but draw similarities between the two - things no one else would be able to conclude about the two), “are you sure you got them ‘just because’?”

Something between a shy and teasing smile comes over his face, “my, do you doubt me so? Truly, I was walking back from work today, on my way to fetch you so we could go on our date, when I saw them.” He steps forward then, reaching up to fix one of the flowers in the arrangement. His gaze visible softens as he looks at you, “they made me think of you,” beautiful, gentle, calming, “I just had to get them.” You look at them again, this time singling out the one your lover had been attending to.

A cecilia, one that’s mixed in among windwheel asters. A thought appears in your mind and you pluck it from the bunch, careful as you set the others aside. “I think it’s kinda funny Kae; that while you were telling me these reminded you of me, all I could think about was how they remind me of you.” Pretty, gentle, something to treasure.

You’re careful in your movements and gentle in your touch as you reach towards Kaeya, flower in hand. Brushing a stray strand of hair behind his ear, you tuck the white flower through his hair, taking your time in securing it. When you’re finished your hands fall from his hair and to his face, cupping both cheeks in your hands. “Beautiful, just like you.”

From under your hands you feel his skin warm, even more so after you speak your next words, “Thank you for the gift my love, but if it’s okay, I’d like to share it with you,” you place a kiss to his nose and then his lips, soft and delicate yet so full of love, much like the flowers he so lovingly gave - his sign of unwavering and never ending love for you.

Tomorrow you’ll be sure to spoil him in your love, as an extension of your thanks. You’ll be sure to display the flowers in your home as well, so you can be reminded of him every time you see them.

Has it been days? Weeks? A month?

No, two months. It has been two months since he last saw you, and every second that passes by without you by his side any longer makes him quite… distracted.

Such a thing has never occurred to him before. Of course, it must have been because all he had ever known are beings that are powerful enough to fend for themselves, and he has a huge trust in them to do so. Not to say that he does the opposite with you, however, and it was one of the things that he still has a difficult time trying to understand—why does he worry so much?

Worry?

Such a feeling… is one that particularly feels foreign for the likes of him.

The uneasiness that comes with it, how it directly affects him, and how he works does not sit well either.

By the time he senses your presence the minute you had stepped in the boundaries of Liyue, he was instantly by your side and does something that surprises not only you but also himself.

Something—or someone—appearing so suddenly made you jump and almost draw out your weapon—one that your lover insisted you always keeping it with your person. Well, that is until you saw the familiar teal locks and golden eyes of “Xiao! You scared the hell out of me!”

“I…” missed you—the words died down in his mouth before he could even let the last two words out, only to clear his throat and say, “I apologize, for scaring and surprising you.”

You could only heave out a sigh, yet a smile gets released from your features—one that almost made him get to his knees with how it shook ever so slightly at the beautiful sight in front of him.

“I missed you.”

This time, it just slipped out of his lips, so fast that it had beaten his arms that were stretching its way to you, and his entire body making way to lean into yours as if it was magnetized upon warmth that he had so long missed each and every second you were away.

“Oop-“ you jumped but instinctively had both of your hands on his shoulders, not long sliding down to his waist after giggling on your own, feeling his breath tickle you on the skin of your neck.

“I guess you really did, huh? With how tight you’re holding me right now,” you teased him with a smirk, and even if he couldn’t see your face, he just knew. Yet he tightens his arms even more and presses a quick kiss on your neck, muttering a “Mmhm,” and leaning his head on your shoulder.

Your hold on him tightens as well, immersing yourself in his scent that overwhelmed your entire being after being so away from him for a very long time.

“I missed you too, baby. I’m home.”

being with Aether is such a dream for any botanist alike; with him going to different nations on the daily its just the perfect opportunity for you to collect different plants for different regions

oh, do some plants not survive in the same environment as the other? no worries! Aether has already built different biomes and greenhouses in his teapot for you :D

regardless of being the renowned traveler, its not uncommon for him to return back to you with some sort of injury

it really helps that your vision allows you to create medicinal herbs and plants alike

it's quite a sight for people when they see the fearless traveler being scolded by his boyfriend

matching flower crowns!!! Aether allows you to play with his hair and weave in little flowers and leaves ( 0/)w(\0✿)

After a long day of doing commissions, Aether can finally take a break. That's what he thought 3 hours ago, before he accepted another job. Well, more like Paimon accepting the job for him... "Oh come on Traveler, we need the mora!" At least it was an easy task; All he had to do was collect a bouquet of different flowers.

Aether went around the entire of Mondstadt picking as many regional flowers as he could. Before long, he completely wiped the entire area clean. Unfortunatly, he still needed a few more to complete the bouquet. Just as he started to dig his wallet to buy flowers from Flora, a ring of said flowers started to appear around him.

"I heard from around that a certain Traveler was in need of some Windwheel Asters. To be honest, I was quite disappointed that you didn't come to me first."

Looking behind him, Aether turns to face you. Oh, he recognizes you. The infamous dendro user, Mother Nature, as most call you. He's seen you around before, but has never had the time to talk to you. Just as he starts to thank you for the help, you pick up one of the Asters, placing it delicately in his hair.

You wish you could take a picture of his face, as it was a red as the flowers themselves.

Diluc Ragnvindr

guys lets all take a moment and think about all the possibilities diluc and a dendro reader would have

(im gonna write a whole different series for this later lol)

we have mr. diluc, owner of the dawn winery, who needs grapes, with a dendro user, who's strength rivals that of the dendro archon herself

yea, it's great of business lol

diluc knows a bit about cultivating and caring for plants too, so if you ever gift him any plants or flowers they'll always be in top condition

also, if you give him any cut flowers i imagine he would dry them and use them as bookmarks (◕﹏◕✿)

there were times that diluc was to scared to come near you, just because he thinks he might burn the leaves in your hair or the plants you create

he probably got people to build you a little greenhouse outside of the dawn winery to keep all your plants

Just like the wind, word travels fast around Mondstadt. It isn't everyday that the townsfolk get to gossip about the uncrowned king of Mondstadt's love life.

Many rumors sprout about how the two of you met. Some say it might be because of your elemental abilities. Other stories consist of you having a similar social status as Diluc, being known throughout the city.

Whatever the case may be, it's safe to say that meeting you was one of the best moments in Diluc's life. He finds peace and solace in you, something that was taken away from him at a young age. While Diluc is used being the protector of Mondstadt, he can't help but feel his heart beat a little bit faster when you tend to him.

Kaeya Alberich

man all the nicknames he has for you AHHH

i feel like he would be a natural romantic, always bringing you flowers + gifts on dates

before he dated you, there was never a plant inside his home. he doesn't think he has a "green thumb". but if you give him plants/bring them over, he'll try his best to take care of them

whenever he's out on expeditions, he tries his best to always bring you along (unless the mission is to dangerous) since he knows you've always preferred the outdoor

he's quite the romantic, so he definitely knows a bit about flower language

so please please give him calla lilies (◕﹏◕✿) he falls a little deeper in love with you every time you give him some

(calla lily in flower language can mean beautiful AHHHH)

sometimes diluc will rely on you to make sure kaeya gets home safe after a round or two at angel share

It's late at night when you get a messenger bird, altering you of your boyfriends most recent drinking session. You enter Angel Share, to see the scene in front of you.

There at the bar is Rosaria, who's taking another swig of whatever's in her cup, Diluc, who's cleaning the bar, and Kaeya, who's slouched onto the counter. It takes one look from the Diluc to understand that it's time to drag Kaeya out of the bar.

The wind was strong this night, with the Calvary captain on your shoulder. "You really need to go easy on those drinks, Kaeya." Said man starts to giggle next to you, before turning to face you.

"...thank you, for caring for me, my prince"

Venti

is Venti a whole god and can handle himself? yes

does he still need monitoring with his alcohol intake?

while he may be so shamelessly flirty, he really is so in love with you

besides the usual "windblume", he would also call you "dandelion"

his favorite spot to hang out with you would be the tree in windrise

he likes sitting on one of the branches while you tend to the tree and create foliage as you go

(has asked you to help in the making of grapes for wine lol)

Many have been thanking the anemo archon for the calm and cooling breeze that has been passing by all week. Some believe that something good must have happened to him, or that he's decided to bless the land of freedom for the fun of it.

Venti can't help but laugh while hearing all the prayers and thanks from the people of Mondstadt. Looking down at your lap, you're met with the most love-struck gaze and lopsided grin you've ever scene.

"What's gotten you in a good mood?" You ask while combing through his hair, removing the leaves and flowers that were previously braided in them. All you get back is a small "ehe", before Venti goes back to humming a small tune.

So imagine one year, after making a friend that he simply adores, he accidentally calls them "Windblume". It just slipped out, really, he didn't mean to say it out loud. But when he sees the way they blush and call him cute...

he’s taking you on a walk, half-singing some story about the history of windwheel asters again. it’s a fake story, this one twined with the tale of lovers instead of actual history, about how one presented the other with a bouquet of them as a proposal. you’re only partly listening, mostly caught up in how the light highlights certain shades of green in his eyes.

he crouched as he walks, picking one and presenting it to you with a flourish. he stumbles a bit when he sees you already looking at him, but recovers quickly. “take this as my promise to you of my love, just as it was all those years ago.”

you smile, taking the flower. “thank you, my windblume.”

his mind empties in an instant, face flushing a bright pink. his eyes are wide, in a sort of shock that you’d call him something so sweet. you laugh, then, giving him a quick kiss on the forehead, and he snaps from his stupor.

“h-hey! i’m supposed to be the one being sweet for you!”

“are you mad you didn’t think of it first?”

“wh- shut up!”

you laugh again.

hi there! you may or may not remember me, but it’s your friendly neighborhood recurring pokemon anon!!! miss me? it’s been quite a while, so i figured i’d send out an update ;P as always, feel free to ignore this, but i’d love to hear thoughts if you have any

i’ll start with the traveler, whose team has since been updated with one pokemon per region. i told you about the Eevee and Pidove in one of the previous posts, but they have since received names (!) that being Sunset and Aster - after sunsettias and windwheel asters. the rest of the team thus far, in order of acquisition: a Cubone named Jade, caught on the way to Liyue harbor. in Inazuma, Luxio named Pearl - who had been Teppei’s partner pokemon. after he died, she went with the traveler. Sumeru’s ‘mon is a Morelull- likely caught in the rainforest or along the way during the aranara questline. if you have any name ideas, i’d love to hear em

Noelle’s got a Quilladin! the knights wanted to give her an appreciation gift, so they all pitched in to get a chespin egg from a breeder in Fontaine :) i think it fits her. also, it’s stated in the pkmn sun pokedex entry that Shellder used to be used as shields in ancient times, so i think that would be cute! not really what you’d expect, but doesn’t that make it all the more fun?

Bennett!! benny boy… he’s got two members: a Spearow that he caught on accident. hates him. hates everything. wants blood. Benny’s slowly getting through to her though! as well as a Sandygast. he like. stepped on it or something and spent half a day shoveling sand. the Sandygast felt kinda bad after he collapsed and decided to join his team.

lastly: pleased to announce that i’ve finally completed Venti’s team - that being Applin, Chatot, Spinda, and Shuckle.

I love all of this! Especially the traveler taking on Teppei's partner Pokemon, that's very good ;o; and Noelle's Quilladin and that Shellder fact! That does seem very suitable. Also I'm cackling at poor Bennett and his accidental Pokemon acquisitions, they seem very suitable. XD

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE I'M DONE :]

The night was… a bit more harsh- let’s just say that the worst abyss mage duo was there, and.. As the Darknight Hero, what else would Diluc do?

Gracefully slashing against the cryo abyss mage’s shield with his pyro-infused sword, he easily takes down the main threat which supplied it’s partner with the cryo effect. Soon after, Diluc manages to rid of both cryo and hydro abyss mages by summoning a phoenix of flame, the well-known move called “Dawn.”

But what he isn’t aware of,

Is his appearance.

Diluc, your lover, returns back to your estate and knocks on the door in a pattern- a pattern that signalled that he was the one behind the door. You are, ever so excited, to welcome him back from his duties with a warm hug and a refreshing cup of grape juice. Opening the door, you are met with a soaking wet crimson-haired man(due to those darn bubbles that those hydro mages create AAAAAAAAAA). Luckily, he isn’t injured, but his usual sort of fluffy bangs are now plastered against his face, defining his features, which make him.. Well, hotter, you could say-

You stifle a giggle and tug him inside, taking off his coat in the process and leaving to grab some items. Diluc wrings his hair while waiting for you, making sure not to get the carpet wet. When you return, you have a change of clothes and a towel in hand. “Go take a warm shower. I’ll be waiting outside to help dry your hair. After that, we can do whatever you want. I heard the news about you taking down the cryo-hydro abyss mage duo, and it must’ve been stressful looking at your current situation,” you say, gently. Tip-toeing(if you’re around his height cross that out-), you place a short but sweet kiss on his cheek and then hand him the items, gently pushing him towards the direction of the bathroom.

Diluc comes out a few moments later and finds you on the couch, peacefully reading a book. He heads over to you and hugs you from behind, placing his head on your shoulder and softly sighing in your ear. Turning your head, you kiss him on his cheek again (bonus points if you somehow make him blush). “Hey, love. You done?” Diluc slightly nods in reply. “Okay, let me go get a towel.” You close the book and put it down on the table in front of you and get up, already missing the comforting warmth that your lover naturally provided. Meanwhile, Diluc wanders to the kitchen and finds the glass of grape juice that you forgot to give him. He takes a sip and slowly makes his way over to a stool in the kitchen, fumbling with a small black velvet box he had kept in his pocket(have a clue about what it is? hehe.). You return shortly later with two hair ties and a smaller towel, slipping the bands onto your wrist while you start to dry his hair.

The two of you sit in silence, a comfortable silence, while you skillfully comb your fingers through Diluc’s now-dry thick locks. Though he may not show it outside, Diluc usually allows you to braid his hair as long as it doesn’t get in the way. So you choose to take a small portion of his crimson locks and divide them into three, slowly weaving them into a loose braid and using the smaller hair tie to keep the braid together. While you gather his hair, Diluc sneakily takes out the box and opens it by a crack, eyes locking onto the scarlet gem on the golden ring inside. He was going to propose to you soon. While passing by, they accidentally overheard you gushing about them to your friends. How will they react?

Notes: This idea was too cute to not do :3 this takes place before you two started dating btw. This is going to be a bit long since i added every character, hope ya’ll don’t mind 😋 Hope ya’ll like this!

Aether

… would have the most dumbstruck, lovestruck face ever. Leaning on the wall behind him as Paimon floats in front of him, he can’t help but let out a happy sigh. His heart is beating loudly in his chest as a pink dust colored his cheeks. He wasn’t sure if you reciprocated his feelings, but now that you’ve confirmed it, he can’t help but be giddy about it.

Not registering the calls of his companion, his mind races to possibilities of you two dating. The places he will bring you to, the scenery, the atmosphere, basically he turns into a high school girl that just got accepted by her crush. Which is his situation right now, but the other party isn’t aware of him eavesdropping on the conversation. (He was just passing by when you heard you gushing about a certain blonde-haired traveler)

Doesn’t let you know he overheard your conversation with your friend/s. But he makes subtle signs that he’s aware of your feelings to him. All he needs to do is wait for the perfect opportunity to confess to you without worrying of rejection…

“… how did I know about your feelings..? Oh… uh… i might’ve… overheard you gushing about it with your friend/s… sorry.”

Albedo

… would still have his usual blank face, save for a small smile appearing on his lips if you look closely and the pink-tinted cheeks. His hand continued to move as the pencil drew lines in the pad he’s sketching, having a fond look on his face. Even though he was already aware of your feelings towards him, the words you used to gush about him sends his heart (if he has one) soaring.

Humming when he hears his assistant Sucrose calling for him, he looks up at her, briefly looking at your figure before returning to her. His mind not registering the words spouting of the timid girl’s mouth, nodding along with what she’s saying. He waved her off after she’s done talking, stating that he’ll return to the lab to see the problem personally.

Like Aether, he wouldn’t let you know he overheard your conversation. But he does drop hints about it with a smug smile-smirk. Actually, the very next day, he asks you out on a date.

“You know, if you want to gush about your crush on me, do it more privately okay? People can easily hear you gushing, most specifically me… though it was rather adorable hearing you say such cute words haha.”

Bennett

… would be frozen stiff for a minute before a huge smile broke out in his frozen state, giggling madly as he slides down to the ground, his legs too jelly to hold him up. Twirling a windwheel aster he got just for you, despite its appearance being a bit bend and a petal missing. He tried to calm his racing heart as he debated to himself whether or not to confess to you already since he knew how you already felt.

Prior to this event, his heart broke when he overheard you gushing about your crush to your friend/s in broad daylight. He knew that it was a longshot, having you returning his feelings but he still hoped, that’s what his optimism said after all. Sighing dejectedly, he was about to go away when he heard his name being mention. And that’s when his shattered heart beat.

Immediately going to you after bidding farewell to your friend, he asked you out on a date while holding out the flower he had picked just for you. Already admitting to you he was eavesdropping because he can’t hide it from you for long.

“Sorry, I uh… kinda eavesdropped on your conversation with your friend/s. I-I swear I won’t do it again though!”

Childe

… would have the most smuggest look on his face as he crossed his arms in front of his chest, eyeing you and your friend/s at the corner of his eyes. He won’t deny how his heart was beating loudly in his chest, and how big his smile is on his face. He’s aware of your feelings towards him, but was too stubborn or prideful to admit it. Now that he got this information, his mind started to devise teasing remarks to tease you with about this gushing session.

Doesn’t pay attention to the fatui messenger in front of him as his mind is occupied with you and your gushing. Waving them off as their only wasting their time, his attention is now all on you. Making his way towards you, he puts his index finger on his lips, shushing your friend/s about his impending arrival. You haven’t noticed his presence yet behind you, his shadow looming over you as he placed his hands on your shoulders.

Smirking deviously at the sight of your surprised face, he chuckles as he urges you to go on. He wants to hear more. The date can wait for later or tomorrow, but for now, he has all the time in the world to listen to you gushing about him despite your embarrassment and unwillingness to do so-

“Haha! You’re so cute, my love. Gushing about me to your companions. You’re not good for my heart, y’know? Anyway, why did you stop? Go on. I want to hear more.”

Chongyun

… swears his face overheated when he hears his name slipping from your lips as he tries to eat his popsicles fast enough to avoid activating his condition. Everything around him feels hot as he munches on his blue popsicles greedily, his face beet red. He’s glad his friend wasn’t here as he would be tease by him, which wouldn’t be good for his poor heart.

As he’s eating the cold food, he can’t help but feel giddy about your confession. Even though it’s not directly at him, he was happy that you felt the same way as him. He also can’t help but be embarrassed at the words you’re using to describe him, if his bright red face isn’t a sign of that. But now he can’t help but be disappointed in himself for eavesdropping in your private conversation, despite him only walking through where you’re located.

Similarly, he wouldn’t mention that he accidentally overheard you gushing over him. But it’s quite obvious something happened as whenever he sees you, his face would be beet red and furiously munching on his popsicles to calm himself down. Would also take a while to properly ask you on a date. He still can’t help but be surprised at you accepting his date despite him knowing his feelings are mutual-

“I was wondering… if you would like to accompany me on a date? R-Really? Y-You mean it? Thank you!”

Dainsleif

… would have the same stoic face on his face, nothing major changed in his face as he listens in on your conversation with your friend/s. His eyes glazed over at the idea of you loving a monster like him. Don’t you know the crimes he committed? His hands are coated with blood from the land he was supposed to protect. But despite the rationality of his mind, his heart is beating happily in his chest, overjoyed that you reciprocate his forbidden feelings.

Immediately drowns his drink as he walks away from the tavern, where you were located, still gushing about him. A walk through the land of freedom would ease his mind. Even though he knows that bringing you to his mess would do nothing but put you to harm, he can’t help but let his emotions take over him. How it will feel to be surrounded by your love after living isolated with society. The warmth of your body against his in the coldest of nights, the featherlight kiss you place on his skin, he yearns for that.

Known as the man of few words already, he wouldn’t spoke of the incident ever again. But you would notice how he became softer towards you, the usual high walls he put around himself disappeared. He’s willing to bring you in his life. So would you do the honor of accepting his date?

“The journey before us would be rocky as our fates weren’t supposed to intertwine, but destiny decided to play with us. And I have no qualms for it. You are the most precious thing that could ever happened to me. Thank you for choosing to love me.”

Diluc

… tries to suppress his blush and growing smile but fails to do so, letting his childish emotions take over his cold front. Rolls his eyes at the teasing of his previous sworn-brother as he continues to clean the glass of wine. But even Kaeya can’t deny how Diluc’s usual cold eyes were now softened with a fond look and a small smile adorning his face, a fool in love he would describe the red head.

Cleaning up the last wine glass, he grabs one and pours his favorite drink in it. Making his way towards where your table is located, he sets down the glass while looking at you with the same fond look as earlier. ‘Enjoy your drink’ he mouthed as he walks away. Hearing you gushing about him in the same tavern he works in makes him question whether or not you’re stupid or tipsy, but nevertheless he was glad he decided to take this shift. Hearing it, he has gain the courage he needed to ask you out.

After closing the tavern, while on the way to your house, he would ask you on a date right then and there. It’s quite obvious he overheard your gushing with the glint of mischief twinkling in his eyes, complete with a smug smirk on his face. Who are you and what have you done to diluc sir-

“It’s quite adorable hearing you describe me in such sentences. But be mindful of your surroundings next time. Though I would like to hear more about it in our date. Haha… I’m just joking, my love. But it is quite cute the way you’re gushing about me with your friends-“

Gorou

… tail is literally wagging back and forth and he doesn’t bother to try stopping it. His ears are twitching as he tries to suppress the smile forming in his lips. Since he basically has inhuman ears, he can hear conversations happening all around him. This was no different. Hearing you gushing about the general himself made him blush, his tail being more expressive about the emotions he’s feeling.

Despite knowing that having a romantic affair is dangerous in the present circumstances, he swears with all of his heart that he will protect you even if he has to sacrifice his life for it. He’s willing to fling himself to every battle to protect you, whether you reciprocated his feelings or not. Gorou is a straightforward person, he means what he says and doesn’t sugarcoat it. Listening your concern and berating him for his reckless actions, he would literally say ‘i will do anything to protect you because i love you’.

Would immediately call for you using his general status, knowing that you wouldn’t disobey orders directly from the general himself. Would have the biggest smile on his face when you enter as he tries to compose himself before your arrival but failing to do so. As his tails wags back and forth, he excitedly tells you about the plans he has for the date you two will have in the future when Inazuma is finally at peace.

“Oh- oh! We can go to the shop in Inazuma city! I heard they have delicious pizza’s there with inazuma and non-inazuma flavors! Or we can go to the Chinju forest to admire the scenery there! Aaaah so much potential date ideas but not enough time~!”

Kaeya

… sipping in his drink with a smug smirk on his face, his eyes glinting with glee at hearing you gush about him. His cheeks darkened slightly but he waved it off as the alcohol sipping in his veins, which is an obvious lie. Craning his head to the side to look at where you’re seated and seeing you still happily gushing about him with a bright smile present on your face. Aaah, the things you do to his poor heart.

He’s well-aware of your feelings towards him. Nothing escapes his sharp eyes, not even you. The way you act around him, how you became shy and all that were all signs pointing to you having a crush on him. Normally he would play with people’s feelings and used them to gain more information about the people around them, but he doesn’t want to do that to you. After all, his heart beats for you, why would he trick you? Despite his conflict on where he places his alignment with, he wants you by his side.

Making his way towards you, giving himself away with his chuckling. Seeing your flustered state, he can’t help but coo at how cute you are. Placing a kiss on your head, he pats your head and takes a seat beside you, not minding your friend/s at all.

“I didn’t know you think of me like that, darling. Do you think of that every time you see me? How handsome, brave and sweet I am? Haha. I’m quite flattered. Please go on. I want to hear more.”

Kazuha

… would have the most fond smile on his face as he looks down to hide his flustered face from the teasing looks of his crewmates. Hearing you gush about him from a distance he can hear due to his enhanced hearing, he can’t help but get flustered more with how you describe him. Bitting his lower lip to calm his beating heart, he takes a sip on his drink, still ignoring the teasing remarks of the crew.

Being surrounded by the Crux’s mates in celebration for another successful voyage, you were invited by him to participate despite not being a part of the crew. Now he kind of regrets it as he continues to hear you gush about him, but another part of him is patting his back for bringing you here. At least now he’s aware of your feelings towards him, not anymore fearing about the rejection or the awkwardness that will soon follow if he ever confessed his feelings towards you.

He would whisk you away from the noisy party to a secluded area, telling you to ignore the whistles and howls of the crew (beidou was the loudest). Holding your hands with his, he confessed his feelings for you. Underneath the starry night, he asked you on a date. The moon being a witness in watching a smile forming on his lips after hearing your reply.

“Oh. I must also thank you for your words, my love. The way you worded your words for me, as if you chose it quite carefully, it made my heart warm. I must return the favor, right? Hm… where to start..?”

Thoma

… would dead set give away his hiding spot as he lets out a loud ‘whoo!’ in happiness right after you mention his name. He can’t help it! He needs to let out the surge of energy, no matter how idiotic or stupid it may appear for bystanders around him. Letting out a happy laugh, he turns to Ayaka, who only chuckled at his actions. Her eyes flickering to you every now and then, wondering if you noticed his overjoyed state. (Disclaimer: you did but shh)

Despite him usually being a composed guy that thinks things through with precision, with every word and action having meaning behind them. But this time, he can’t help but let his childish side win over. It’s no secret he was head over heels for you, and he make sure to remind you everyday of his feelings for you that will never change. Even though he knew he should stop to not make you uncomfortable, he would always notice a small smile creeping over your face when you thought he was gone or turned your back. Making him want to shower you with kisses at the spot but restrain himself everytime.

Not bothering to hide himself anymore, he quickly rushes over to you and lifts you up with his hands. Laughing at your surprised sounds as you scolded him for the sudden action, his hands holding your waist tightly to not let you go as he lets his forehead rest against yours. Staring into your eyes with a gleeful smile, he asked you out on a date.

“I love you. I love you. I love you! I won’t stop saying that to you, y’know! Even if you grew tired of me one day, I won’t stop loving you. And hearing you say all those things about me is the most cutest thing I’ve ever seen. You’re so cute, my darling.”

Razor

… would have the most confused face when he hears you gushing about it. Since he has a limited word language, he doesn’t understand the words coming out of your mouth. But he would let out a blush when he hears the word ‘like’ or ‘love’, already understanding what you’re saying to your friend/s. If he has a tail, it would be wagging back and forth as he lets out a small happy whine.

He doesn’t experience love much, only having received it from his wolf family and his mentor, Lisa. Perhaps also from the red burny girl from the city too. But other than that, he was deprived of it. Razor doesn’t understand the difference between familial love and romantic love. So when he starts growing feelings for you, he was so confused on what he’s feeling. Trying his best to tell Lisa about his predicament, the older woman laughed at his situation and pats his head, explaining to him the romantic love.

Would not mention it either. He doesn’t know either how to bring it up. But he would be noticeably be clingy towards you, snuggling in your neck as he mumbles out ‘date’. A word that Lisa told him to use if he wants to be together with you.

“You… go with me? On a… d-date? Yes? Or no…?”

Scaramouche

… smiling smugly when he hears you gushing about him just around the corner, where he was hiding. His sour mood shifted quickly to a smug one after hearing you uttering his name. Of course you would love him. What’s isn’t there to love about him? But even he can’t lie the gnawing feeling of rejection creeping in his heart prior to this day. No matter how much he denies it, the insecurity of not being the one your heart is beating for beats him up which angers him often.

Hearing your gushing finally puts his mind and heart at rest, finally, he can put his poor subordinates to rest after venting out his anger to them (but he would do it again if they mess up). Gripping his large hat on his hands, he puts it back on its usual position on his head, twisting it around to adjust it correctly. He starts to walk away with a smug aura around him. Harbingers, mages and others immediately took notice of his rather chipper behavior. One harbinger decided to poke fun with him but it did not end well. Don’t try this at home please.

Later that day, he would walk up with you with the same smug smile he wore earlier with hands on his waist. Stating that you owe him a date for making him wait for so long.

“Who knew you had such thoughts in that pretty dumb small brain of yours? Hmph. At least your heart made a right choice in submitting itself to me. I want to hear more of your gushes if you will, actually, that’s an order.”

Venti

… would have the biggest smile on his face as he leans back on the tree with glaze eyes, resisting an urge to strum the melody forming in his head to not give away his position. He decided to follow you for fun since he had nothing to do. What he didn’t expect is to intrude on a conversation about you gushing about your crush on a certain bard, a surprise but not unwelcome. Sighing happily as the winds reciprocate the happiness their god is feeling with the soft touch on his body.

He didn’t knew he was capable of loving still after having lived for centuries now. He was once a wind spirit who took a form of his old friend to walk on the grounds of the earth, the land of freedom. He never feared anything, but he did fear of you leaving him one day. A concept that he doesn’t want to accept. That’s why he puts a distance with you. Getting attach to a mortal wouldn’t do him good, even getting attached to a goddess would end eventually. But he learned to accept his feelings for you. Maybe that’s why his heart is practically leaping out of his chest right now.

Uses this as an excuse to tease you, seeing you flustered always bring joy to the bard. Laughing at your attempt to look scary despite how flustered you look, he placed a kiss on your lips before he could stop himself. Letting his tongue out, he told you the time and location for your date, not giving you time to agree or disagree with his request. Not like you would reject him right?

“Ehe~ you better be there! No being late to our first official date! Oh, and bring some food, would ya? Wouldn’t want to starve out there in the wild haha!”

Xiao

… his cool composure would crumble as soon as he hears his name leaving your lips, making his usually cold and stoic face bright red. He could feel the intense heat radiating from his face and the blood rushing all at once into one location. Good thing nobody was around or else they’ll have to deal with the angry intense glares of the flustered yaksha. Only Verr would be brave enough to point it out, chuckling at the flustered state the almighty yaksha is in.

Huffing to himself as he disappeared to the sanctuary of his room to cool off. His head on his hands as he takes deep breaths, his heart still loudly beating in his chest. This was the first time Xiao had experienced something like this. Why did you words fluster him so much? Was it because of the adoration hidden in your voice? Or how you phrase it? He can’t help but groan, trying to rack his mind on how to calm himself down. Oh how the vigilant yaksha has fallen from his thorny chains and into the hands of a mortal. Unable to stop himself from letting out a smile at the thought, maybe it’s time to let his guard down and let you in finally.

Would never mention about it either again. Nothing in his actions would suggest that he could’ve listened in on your gushing session about him. But you do notice how he became soft towards you. One day, he would ask softly about having a date with him while smiling slightly with qingxin flowers in his hands.

“… I would only say this once, so better listen carefully… I… would like to take you on a… d-date.. as you mortals call it. In other words, allow me to court you.”

Xingqiu

… hides his growing smile behind his hand as he coughs, covering up his excitement at what he’s hearing. Lowering his head as he hides behind the book he’s pretending to read, he smiles fondly when he hears you gushing about him more. His heart swells with happiness at the words you’re describing him. It takes all of his will to not go over there and tease you, watching as you grow flustered under his teasing words.

Not wanting to be caught, he patiently waited in the table as you continued to chat with your friend/s. His mind racing at the possible dates he’ll dragged you to, the excitement and thrill of each one makes Xingqiu even more excited to ask you out, already wishing your friend/s to leave. He traced the pattern in his table with his index finger as he recalls the first time he met you. Just like a rare glaze flower that blooms at night, you bloomed brightly in his eyes. A rare kind indeed. One that wormed its way to his heart.

After your friend/s leave, he would appear shortly with a shit-eating grin on his face. Repeating by memory the things you said about him as he watched in amusement as your face grows brighter and brighter. Chuckling lovingly, he placed a hand on your cheek while cooing at you. He suggested that he’ll make it up to you via a date.

“It’s okay, my flower. It was rather cute at how much you gushed about me. You really must love me so much huh? Hehe~ good thing your feelings is being reciprocated or else this situation would’ve turned out different, and more embarrassing for you.”

Zhongli

… would have the most calm look on his face as he sips on his tea, a fond look overtaking his feature. He didn’t mean to eavesdrop on your ‘gushing’ session, but it just happens that you were at a place that Zhongli often visits to have tea. Smiling contentedly at the fact that you return his feelings before looking at the sky with a hint of sadness hidden behind the fond look.

It was time to move on. It’s been years since his beloved’s death. Years that he has the puzzle with him, going unsolved despite him trying and trying. Though he couldn’t replace his dead wife with you, but he was willing to try to love again. He loves Guizhong as she is, and he in turn loves you as you are. You are nothing like Guizhong, and he is glad for that. He can never truly replace her even if he tried. But it’s time to fill the gaping hole in his heart that she left all those years ago.

Taking his precious time as usual, he would ask you out after a few days since he overheard your conversation. He would definitely bring it up, chuckling at how flustered you became when he recalls the details you said. Taking your hand and placing a kiss on top of your knuckles, he asked you out on a date whilst looking directly in your eyes. The amber in his eyes shined brightly, intensely staring at you before it softened at your answer and a smile adorned his face.

“Thank you for accepting my proposal of a date, my dear. I’ll make sure you’ll enjoy it to the fullest… my apology. I can’t help but fawn over your affectionate words you said about me. Fufu~ It was quite cute. I want to hear it directly from you though. Ah, don’t worry. I’ll also contribute by saying mine, it’s only fair.”

About (Name): She's one of the only people of this world that really helped me in my journey to find my sister, so I keep the memories I made with her with love in my mind and heart. Paimon likes her a lot too and she never stops rambling whenever (Name) is around, so I constantly have to take her away from my flying-friend if I want to talk more. Oh, today is very windy, so the Windwheel Asters must be spinning quickly. If I was in Monstad, I'd visit Windrise with (Name) to gather some of them while we talked. It's a shame I'm far away from her.

Albedo 📚

About (Name): She's... Much like me, I guess. We find relationships quite troublesome and we aren't the most social pair out there. Yet, she has a quality I'm trying to develop properly: she is always trying again, always trying to find good in people and hope in this world. Other than that, she helps me in my lab from time to time. Dragonspine seems to be less harsh and less dangerous whenever she's around. Ah, thank you, you remembered me I have to finish a painting of her. I'll make sure she has this art piece as a gift of our friendship.

Kamisato Ayaka 👘

About (Name): Ah, (Name)-San! Oh, she told me I hadn't any reason to use those honorific with her. Well... Our time together is always peaceful and amusing. She's gentle with me and calm enough to deal with my inability to understand some of her habits. For example, she once took me to... as she said 'fool around' in some places of Inazuma. I wasn't used to being out in public for so long only in order of having a great time, or to eat something and talk about ordinary things. Everyone in Monstadt knows you have the biggest crush on cavalry captain Kaeya

Sometimes people forget your name and when they’re talking about you, Person A is like ‘Ah, you know who I’m talking about, dontcha? That person who fancies Captain Kaeya? What was their name again? Er…’

And when that doesn’t work, Person B is like, “Oh, the person who stands beside Donna most of the day, right?”

Person A snaps their fingers and is like, “Yeah! That person. So and so.”

But yeah, you are often seen standing beside Donna, daydreaming about yourself and Kaeya

You often imagine him cornering you against a wall and leaning in to kiss you

Thinking about the two of you sitting in the library when the sun is setting over the walls of Mondstadt, trying to learn Hilichurlian language and him chuckling as you go “YAaaa!” and “Ye” and “dada nunuu”

Thinking about cooking with Kaeya and trying out some new recipes and you’ll hold the spoon to him for a taste and if you get some food on your chest, he’ll grab you and lean forwards and lick it off you and -

Yep, your thoughts can also get pretty nsfw at some times too, but mostly sfw

One day, you’re like “Master Kaeya…” with hands cupping your cheeks as you watch your beloved cavalry captain march outside the gates of Mondstadt with the other soldiers. He was going out for an expedition and wouldn’t be expected to return in at least 14 hours. You stare without abandon as he starts ordering the soldiers. “Gosh I can’t stop thinking about him…I hope he stays safe and takes care. I will pray to Barbatos to look over him."

“Moon pie!” squeals Donna.

She’s totally thinking about something else, but whatever.

The two of you are often like this.

The two you, just standing there side by side near the flower stall with not much to do, staring at your crushes as they passed. Diluc isn’t really seen with Kaeya but you still stay with Donna anyway because you have this camaraderie with her

Yep, it was normal

The people of Mondstadt are so used to this common sight where you and Donna chat together about your crushes and eventually Kaeya finds out because of cos he has tonnes of connections and he’s actually really happy that he has an admirer

So he starts noticing that indeed, you’re always there to see him off when he goes on expeditions but you keep your distance

Occasionally, when he walks past he’ll look at you and smirk

Cue ovary explosion

Next day, he gives you a little wave but you squeak and run and hide behind Donna

Ohhhh, you’re shy, Kaeya thinks as he smirks to himself. This is going to be even fun than he thought…

One day, you’re standing with Donna and waiting to see Kaeya but he doesn’t appear and you’re like, “Where is Master Kaeya? He’s not here yet…”

And suddenly you hear this voice to your right saying, “What do you mean?”

“He was supposed to be here…it’s already five minutes past…where is he??”

“Maybe something bad happened to him.”

“No way! Master Kaeya is so strong!”

“Oh?”

“Yeah!” But then you deadpan because you can’t outrule the possibility. “…By the beard of Barbatos! You’re right! What if something bad has happened to him?! I need to find Master Jean! Oh, Master Jeannnn!”

And you take off trying to run but suddenly you are grabbed by the back of the collar and pulled back; you look up and you’re like ACK! Kaeya????!!

There he stands, smirking at you

And he lets go of you and you’re left to stand in front of him, floundering around and looking sheepish. “Er…”

“What’s wrong, little kitten? Weren’t you looking for me just a minute ago? Here I am.”

Taking a step towards you, you take a step backwards.

“Er…” you squeak.

“What’s the matter? Cat got your tongue?” He says with a smirk.

He takes another step forwards and your back hits the wall, shaking as Kaeya looms over you, planting his hand by your head and reaching for your hair with his other hand, twirling some hair between his gloved fingers

You look up and his face is really close to yours; you can see the diamond in his eye. It's beautiful...

“I-I…*squeak*”

Kaeya chuckles as he brings your lock of hair to his lips.

He didn’t mean to make you faint, honestly

Man! With EBG ending, you were another blog I wish I could've had more time with. Where did the week go? I swear. Ngl, I did have the idea to send Venti sabotages, but I can't say that I have a handle on the bard's turn of phrase.

And I also had a bit of a hard time finding an in with Kazuha and how you set up the story, interaction-wise.

So I wanted to ask, since it seems like you had plans, and I love stories, can you tell me what you had planned for EBG this go around? What happened with Kazuha, and what happened with Venti?

(Up to you if you want to answer now or at the end of EBG.)

Honestly, this week passed by so fast. Idk where it went idhfj I appreciate that you wanted to sabotage me ;; Genuinely, all this interaction made joining the ebg really fun.

I would've loved to have more interactions with some of the moots that were participants and, in general, some of the other participants.

I honestly feel it was rather unfair how I got Kazuha. Considering I actually like his character a lot 💀 I'll put a read more here as to not make this look *too* long LOL

(Warning: I might use strong language, but I'll try to keep it as little as possible)

I'm gonna be honest, the whole story with Kazuha I pulled out of my ass. I did not plan a story or interaction or anything 💀 all of it was authentic, and what I thought was a great idea at the time. It was only after a few anon asks that I went, "Oh, I could have some random lore".

I did pull some of the replies from my own genshin sona's lore that I have thought about. For example, being a traveler, being from Mondstadt, all of those were pulled from actual lore bits. The rest was mostly random bs I pulled from thin air. 💀

Sorry if I made it difficult to interact with me <3 but if I did make it a little hard to sabotage me, I guess that means I'm good (questionable) at diversion 💀

But ngl, if you were the anon that sent me asks with the lyre, sending the windwheel asters, asking about Mondstadt, specifically, you had me lowkey panicking idjdibrf genuinely had me sitting there intensely staring at your asks brainstorming how I should reply.

All in all, I don't have a plan for the end of the ebg or what will happen to Kazuha in this random ebg lore I created 💀 might just say that Kazuha was a great companion while we were travel buddies, but split off when I decided to go back to Mondstadt to make amends with a certain acquaintance. Kazuha having been very insightful on the conundrum I was in with said person and helping me to see it from a different perspective 🤔

The acquaintance I had a mishap with is non other than my beloved Venti (man, it feels great being able to say that holy, it's been tough). What a surprise am I right 💀 (not really, it's very cliché lmfao) Honestly, I didn't think that far on what the mishap would be and why it was such a big deal that I'd up and travel bits of Teyvat 💀

If you asked me during the ebg, I genuinely would've said that I had some massive bill I needed to pay at Angel's Share, and Diluc was the acquaintance 💀 got in a tumble with Diluc that had me going, "Aight, time for in impromptu vacation"

KazuXiaoReader au where Xiao is the owner of a tattoo shop and Kazuha works at the flower shop in front of Xiao’s.

Kazuha and Xiao know each other bc Xiao tattooed Kazuha in the past and sometimes hang out together when not in the job. (Like, they work in front of each other so maybe they get lunch together or something idk).

Reader works as a messenger and Xiao and Kazuha ‘s business are in their route and they meet both of them when they have to deliver something there.

Kazuha gets interested in reader right away but miss the opportunity of talking with them because of work. Next time he sees reader he’s visiting Xiao to go for lunch when reader enters the tattoo shop to deliver something. Xiao is so entranced by their presence that is Kazuha who has to bring him back to reality. Though before reader leaves the shop they might read each other’s mind because next thing they say at the same time is “would you like to accompany us to lunch?” or something along the lines. And since Xiao was reader’s last stop they agree.

I’m not sure where i’m going with this but it’s been in my mind all day and needed to get it out somewhere so I thought here would be a good idea because I started following you when kazuxiaoreader was (more) active in your blog and it has been living in my mind rent free since then.

Actually, funny you should mention a flower shop--because Xiao works part time at a flower shop hehehe So I hope you don't mind me switching their jobs up and making Kazuha the tattoo artist instead!!

But continuing on--

On their very first meeting, it's because Kazuha wanted new inspiration for his art.

There's just something so beautiful about the flowers at the shop across the street that drives him to visiting during one of his breaks. The moment he step's in, he's entranced. From floor to ceiling, there are pots and vases full of an incredible array of flowers and foliage.

Vibrant windwheel asters, cecelias fresher than falling snow, even the ever hard-to-reach qingxin has it's place tucked on a wall-mounted display.

And immediately, Kazuha can't help but wonder what their meanings are.

If he were to design something that incorporates the meaning of a flower, something that's intimate and special to the customer...perhaps that was exactly what he was looking for.

Then, his gaze settles.

Just behind an armful of fragrant glaze lilies, shone two brilliantly gold eyes. Like the glow of ancient amber, they capture the late afternoon light that filters into the shop, though even with Kazuha's stupefied glance the man doesn't seem to notice.

Quickly, the pale-haired man gathers himself.

"Excuse me, if I may, what do these flowers mean?"

An impulse trip turns to weekly visits, an excuse to freshen up the parlor with something pretty.

Weekly visits turn to recognition and lunch breaks spent at the cafe just a few doors down--a tilt of Xiao's (Kazuha learned his name on his third visit, to his embarrassment) head accompanied by friendly chatter. Apparently, they just received a rare gift of naku weed. Certainly a little out of place, considering it's more medicinal use, but they still ended up in a lovely display by the window to attract guests.

The bell above the door rings and you walk in, shuffling through the letters in your hand and looking up with a smile.

"Good morning, I have a few letters for Xiao and--"

A pause. You purse your lips and hold all the letters in one hand's grasp so that the other can start digging through your bag.

"I also have letters for you, Kazuha--the parlor, I mean if you want them as well?"

Both are too busy taking in your presence to interject.

It's not uncommon to admire someone that you've taken a liking to, nor is it uncommon to take a liking to someone who you see nearly every day.

Nearly every day with the hint of a smile, perhaps the odd joke now and then, and the accompanying bubble of warmth in either's chest when you say their name.

Yeah.

Not uncommon at all.

Kazuha's first to suck in a breath, nodding once your words settle in.

"I don't mind. It'd be more convenient for you as well, no?"

The letters find their way into each of their hands. But Xiao's still staring with red-tipped ears and a slight crease between his brows. While you're turned away admiring one of the newer displays, Kazuha tap's Xiao's arm with his elbow.

The moment that you look back to ask about it, they've already managed to calm.

It's not uncommon, with all things considered, to enjoy a meal with friends either.

So, the opportunity strikes and the sudden brightness in your eyes at their offer takes them aback. Lunch sounds perfect.

That being said it's still a long while until anyone realizes that there's a mutual connection between the three of you ehe

Gotta have that pining, after all!

Probably a few months, maybe, before you all go on your first date-

But that being said!!

KazuXiaoReader is one of my favorite things OTL OTL it's so sweet, so so so sweet- and also a lot of fun because Kazuha and Xiao play off well together nodnodnod I'd say there'd be a lot of mutual respect and communication as well since their values are rather close
