Folge 3:

Die verhängnisvolle Folge.

Noah telefoniert mit seinem Vater und rastet aus. Impulsivität ist sein zweiter Vorname.

Dann kommt meine absolute Lieblingsszene bisher: „Für deinen Optimismus sollte ich dich …küssen… äh… hauen“

Ich weiß er hat hauen gesagt, aber sein Blick sagte definitiv küssen und ich liebe an der Szene, dass wir für einen kurzen Moment den soften Noah sehen. Den Noah, der so süß und liebevoll sein wird, wenn er erstmal mit Colin zusammen ist. Und das zeigt er uns hier kurz. Ich hätte gern am Ende genauso eine Szene oder ähnlich nochmal und dann küssen sie sich wirklich. Das würde ich lieben!

Dann sehen wir kurz Ava- sie ist iconic, aber bisher zu wenig zu sehen. Ich freuen mich auf alles, was noch mit ihr kommt.

Dann protectiv Joel: Wen belügst du hier eigentlich gerade Colin? Dich selbst? „Ich helfe nur Noah“. Aha alles klar, das tut bestimmt gar nicht weh… sehen wir ja später.

Die Schmink-Szene:

Also Noahs Blick, als Colin kurz rausgeht, um den Kleber zu holen, ist auch so verwirrt. Er weiß überhaupt nicht, wie er das hier gerade findet. Aber er kann’s NOCH unterdrücken.

Bei der Schmink Szene ist ja Noah derjenige, der weg rückt, weil ihm das zu viel ist, die Nähe. Wurde hier schon mehrfach thematisiert. Colin versucht in dem Moment stark zu sein und sich nichts anmerken zu lassen, aber Noah muss sich eigentlich viel mehr zusammenreißen, weil er keine Gefühle zeigen will und Colin hat ja eigentlich gar nicht mehr zu verlieren, weil Noah ja theoretisch weiß, was er empfindet. Das tut so weh, wenn man weiß was danach kommt.

Kommen wir zur schlimmsten Szene seit immer:

Der Dialog ist so gut, aber ich will ihn einmal auseinander nehmen.

„Es kotzt mich einfach an, dass du so tust, als wäre nie was passiert. Als hätte ich dir nie von meinen Gefühlen erzählt.“

„Ich dachte das hätten wir abgehakt?“

- Wie soll man denn etwas abhaken, wenn man niemals darüber spricht, Noah?! Du hast nie etwas dazu gesagt. Du wolltest nur Limo trinken.

„ Ich verstehe es nicht. Ist es weil ich ein Typ bin?“

„Nein, das hat damit überhaupt nichts zu tun“

- Also bedeutet das ja in dem Kontext von Noah: ja, ich stehe auch auf Typen, aber nicht auf dich.

- Oder die Frage von Colin bezieht sich eher darauf, warum Noah die Gefühle nicht zeigen/ zulassen kann. Also weil er ein Typ ist?

- Ich finde die Frage wichtig und gut, bringt uns aber keiner Antwort näher. Und in meinem Kopf sind viele Gedanken dazu, die ich irgendwie nicht zusammen fassen kann.

Weil wenn wir uns den Dialog weiter anschauen, finden wir keine konkrete Aussage von Noah, dass er nicht auf Colin steht.

„Womit dann? Warum ist da nichts bei dir?“

- die Frage sollte doch eher lauten: „warum kannst du nicht sagen, dass da was bei dir ist. Weil ich habe nicht das Gefühl, dass das einseitig ist.“

- Colin sagt ja, er weiß das Noah auch etwas für ihn fühlt. Wäre es schlimm gewesen, ihm das auch so zu sagen?

„Man du machst alles kaputt. Du bist der einzig normale Mensch hier. Ich brauch dich als Freund“

- eigentlich ist das eine Liebeserklärung. Wir und vor allem Colin verstehen sie aber nicht so. Erinnern wir uns an die erste Folge. Noah sagte: sobald die Liebe vorbei ist, gibt’s nur verletzte. Ist ja klar, dass bei ihm Colin derjenige ist, der alles kaputt machst, weil er Gefühle hat. Noah hat einfach Angst ihn zu verlieren als Freund.

Und dann kommt die Szene, die ich am liebsten jedes Mal Skippen möchte, aber nicht mache, weil sie so gut gespielt ist.

„Hab ich darum gebeten oder was? Dann hau doch ab. Machst eh alles kaputt mit deinem Gefühlsscheiß…“

- bisher war das Gespräch noch in einem normalen Ton. Aber als Noah erfährt, was Colin für ihn getan hat (Nämlich seine beste Freundin für ihn zurück gelassen) legt sich bei ihm ein Schalter um. Er kapiert, dass Colin alles für ihn tun würde und hat Angst ihm das nie zurück geben zu können und dass er es vielleicht gar nicht wert ist. Daher reagiert er so impulsiv und glaubt, ihn weg zu scheuchen macht es für beide besser.

- Sein Blick danach sagt so viel Verzweiflung aus. Er war zwar gerade echt scheiße, aber kann ihn bitte jemand in den Arm nehmen??

Ich liebe die Szene, in der Joel einfach immer wieder das auspackt, was Collin gerade einpackt und es geht gefühlt zehnmal hin und her, bis es sich auflöst. Es ist so gut!

„Whatever“

- Schloss Einstein hat es einfach drauf, dass normale Wörter oder Sätze nie wieder die gleiche Bedeutung haben werden. (Ist das Okay? - klar voll okay oder Willst du limo trinken? Oder alors on danse)

- Noahs Blick, als Colin sagt, dass er zu Julia geht sagt eigentlich: Scheiße, das ist echt meine Schuld. Aber auch nur ganz kurz, bis er wieder Scheiße baut und Whatever sagt

- Ich finde die Art wie er Colin fragt klingt total abwertend und gemein, so von wegen: ach haust du jetzt echt ab, weil ich das gesagt hab. oder : als ob dich das so verletzt hat, dass du flüchtest.

- Aber als er dann wirklich sagt, dass er gehen soll tut das am allermeisten weh;

- In der streitsituatin vorher, war es aus einem Impuls ihn so anzuschreien und blöde Sachen an den Kopf zu werfen, aber hier muss man davon ausgehen, dass er sich selbst schon etwas reflektiert hat und Colin so zum gehen zwingt, um sich weiterhin vor Gefühlen zu schützen.

Wir gehen weiterhin vom Happy End aus. Also wird Noah mithilfe von Ava und Joel noch lernen seine Gefühle richtig einzuordnen und mitzuteilen. Es braucht einfach noch Zeit.

Ich frage mich: wäre Johnny die ganze Staffel zum drehen da gewesen, wie wäre die letzte Szene gewesen? Hätte Noah sich entschuldigt und gesagt, dass er bleiben soll? Selbst wenn das Happy End dann erst später gekommen wäre, wäre es ein Anfang gewesen, wofür auch immer.

Ich habe es gestern in einer Fanfiction gelesen und wünsche mir jetzt eine Szene, in der Noah in Colins Bett schläft, weil er ihn so vermisst.

been thinkin about how my ethics professor back in undergrad was like.

look. there’s no such thing as perfect altruism. you’ll always get something out of helping or being kind to others, whether it’s a stronger relationship or returned kindness or just the feeling of having done good. there’s nothing inherently bad about getting something from doing good either, especially since it’s completely unavoidable. people being rewarded for putting love into the world doesn’t make the world a worse place. so just do as much good as you can and don’t worry about being “selfless” while doing it, because being truly selfless is in fact impossible.

and like man did that take the pressure off of Being A Good Person!! you’re allowed to enjoy helping people! you’re allowed to be kind without worrying that you’re maybe secretly just doing it for yourself!! it’s okay if you are doing it for yourself because you’re still being kind to others!!!!!

It didn't matter if the Palestinians were just quietly living their life in the countryside; if they were not Jewish, they would had to go.
