Y'all, the world is sleeping on what NASA just pulled off with Voyager 1

The probe has been sending gibberish science data back to Earth, and scientists feared it was just the probe finally dying. You know, after working for 50 GODDAMN YEARS and LEAVING THE GODDAMN SOLAR SYSTEM and STILL CHURNING OUT GODDAMN DATA.

So they analyzed the gibberish and realized that in it was a total readout of EVERYTHING ON THE PROBE. Data, the programming, hardware specs and status, everything. They realized that one of the chips was malfunctioning.

So what do you do when your probe is 22 Billion km away and needs a fix? Why, you just REPROGRAM THAT ENTIRE GODDAMN THING. Told it to avoid the bad chip, store the data elsewhere.

Sent the new code on April 18th. Got a response on April 20th - yeah, it's so far away that it took that long just to transmit.

And the probe is working again.

From a programmer's perspective, that may be the most fucking impressive thing I have ever heard.

i disabled asks temporarily because my blog was turning into an ask session, but thank you so much for all the love and sweet words you've sent me!! i tend to distance myself from fandoms so it's nice to put into perspective just how much impact my art has. it's a reminder that a lot of eyes are on me, something that i have mixed feelings about-- but i always get very happy when people tell me they like the stuff i make :)

I followed in 2022 bc of prsk...even tho I know absolutely nothing about prsk ^^; But I remember thinking about how much I admired the art style that I had to follow. And the yuri, of course. But mostly I adore your linework, composition, anatomy, and use of color. I know it hasn't been easy--some people really are cruel--but I hope you know many of us have our days brightened by your art. Thank you for sharing it with us.

I saw your art going around in the love live period (I'm guessing not very early, but in the middle-ish) and decided to follow you because you consistently draw very cute yuri

i've had a LOT of love live periods though!! the only time i got famous because of it was in 2022 because there were so many (3) aqours lives to watch, so i was being well fed and my brainrot grew stronger than ever. i was also kind of known for my nijigaku fanarts when season 1 was airing back in late 2020, so maybe you're referring to that period. thanks for saying the yuri i draw is cute btw, i appreciate it ^_^

I found you in 2022 with prosekai (you're what got me into it actually), but I'm pretty sure I saw some of your older rwby art! Just didn't associate it with the artist until way later

prsk and rwby. hydrogen bomb and coughing baby. it's always funny to know people have seen my old rwby art, because it really is old. i'm happy i got you into project sekai though, because despite everything i'm very attached to its story and characters and i can't say in good faith that it's bad :) it's just cursed by being a gacha game 🤙 thank you for coming here to tell me!

i've been wondering this for a while - there was a comic i remember seeing years ago about one of the FE3H characters getting their egg cracked by Dorothea(? not 100% sure) and i've never been able to find it since. did you draw this? i swear your art style looked similar to it, but its been so long i might be misremembering. it wasn't the more recent one from last year, though that comic is really good too!

i know what you're referring to, but no, that wasn't my art! i'm afraid it's been deleted off the internet by its original artist, though i'm aware you can find reposts of it in twitter and reddit. not that i'm encouraging you to look for them, but it's obviously been a big source of inspiration for my own comic. if i remember correctly (and if it's the same thing you're talking about), it was dorothea doing ferdinand's make up post-timeskip. that artwork changed the way i perceived ferdinand back in the day, so i also wanted to contribute to the headcanon and explore that topic with my art. thank you for the compliment to my comic, i hope you have a nice day 😊

i originally thought i found you in 2021 with prsk but nope, i found you in 2019 with the ingrid "i am looking away" art. that's crazy ngl. i've been seeing your art for five years. dude i'm 20. that's 25% of my life

i've been staring at this ask for a solid minute. wow. it really is 25% of your life and it's hard to believe. like, i've been following other artists for a very long time, longer than 5 years even, but i'll never get used to the fact that other people follow me for that same reason >.<
