idk this time, whoops. I haven't had a sim die in my game except by old age for a while. 🤔

Alpha CC or Maxis Match?

Both? Is that an option? Both. Really, I like aspects of both and so I blend both in my game. Alpha hair and clay hair, maxis match objects and realistic objects, whatever, if it fits in my game I'll use it.

Do you cheat your sims weight?

I used the SimBlender to change some of the models fit states on my last download post; otherwise, no.

Do you move objects?

I move so many objects, baby 😎

Favorite Mod?

My enormous hacks folder makes this hard to answer, lol. I'll shout out Epi's Baby Personality mod, b/c finally I'm getting some sims with more than 0 to 1 nice points born in Middleground again.

It was Pets. Because I've always been an animal lover and it came out right after I started playing.

Made? Idk, I don't often make sims to play (I think I picked Jackie from Far Valley last time), so I'll show you my favorite born in-game sim!

Yeah, but she no longer exists in my sim bin and no one gets to see her.

Black? I guess? Idk, I don't really have a favorite hair color.

Hmm, I don't remember what I answered last time I did this one. I think the little half-up ponytail from Seasons.

Favorite life stage?

Is it a cop-out if I say everything besides the infant stage? (Does that one even count? They're basically potatoes.) Playing this hood for so long, I've come to enjoy playing sims through each of their life stages. Toddler and kid are cute; teen stage is fun because I get to explore their personality and interests more, and ofc there's budding romances for sims who are into that; adult stage, I get to build their lives and see what their own family turns out like; and elders in my game usually get to relax and savor things once they retire, and spend a lot of time with their family and friends and hobbies, which can be a nice change of pace.

Are you a builder or are you in it for the gameplay?

Nooooope. I like to watch some simmers, especially speedbuilds (shout out to @kayleigh-83 and @nervosims for their great speedbuild vids!), but no one would enjoy me flitting back and forth between seven different things at once, lmao

How has your “Sims style” changed throughout your years of playing?

Play style or aesthetic style? They've both changed over time. Gameplay wise, I really only stick with Middleground and my rotational play now, whereas I used to start (and abandon) a lot of legacies, tried at least one BACC, just random sims that were fun to play. Aesthetically... hmm, you know, I'm not sure this has changed *that* much. Here's Clara circa 2011:

I use more matte skins now, and the style of clothing I download has probably changed the most, but I could absolutely recreate this pic without downloading anything new, including the CC stuff in the background.

Omd guys it's my twin?!? Anyways oh boy I h-h-HATE that guy... He's so 🤢🤢🤢UGGLY and B-BAD😡😡😡

Okay but in all seriousness bro I adore him more then y'all could know. Well uh ppl who follow this hmmm mysterious anon who I definitely don't know now know what the degree of Clive brain rot I have (can't mention it here but if you know you know). But like

I knew Clive would get me as soon as I found out who he was. So for context, Luke is the reason I started playing the PL series. Anyone who knows me personally would know how me bait Luke is, I am VERY predictable. So when I learned there was this guy who had the grand plan of pretending to be Luke from the future to infiltrate Layton's life I was like oooo boy (also yes I unfortunately didn't get to go into UF blind) . What rlly marked my Clive journey's real start was definitely learning his name. Clive Dove. I got the spoiler of bruvs name from when my dear mutual reblogged q picture of him with the Clive Dove tag on it and I was like "bro... HIS NAME IS CLIVE?!?!?!?". Then the devolvation into madness really started. Uh insert discord screenshots

When it comes to head cannons though I will definitely say we all know Clive is trans fr. When it comes to my specific trans HCs for them I really enjoy transfem Clive (its a comfort hc 4 me) but when I'm doing stuff like officially like my official HCs that I stick closer too transmasc Clive. Why? Layton parallels. My whole life is fighting to make as many parallels between the two as I can mate it's a problem. It's just too interesting to me.

Other HC wise uhhh CLIVE HAS FRECKLES FIGHT ME I love planting subtle inconsistencies between him and Luke sm.

When it comes to drawing Clive I will definitely say I do enjoy drawing him more than Luke namely due to him having a tie😱😱.

My biggest struggle in drawing him prolly uhhh the freckles I curse myself with along with just his color palette ig. I can never decide how dark I want his hair to be. But tbf I do just have inconsistent coloring in my art sooo what can you do.

Other stuff to talk about with this awful man.... OH RIGHT! I'm STILL not over him being British Yuri Lowenthal like bro💀. It's so bad randall is also British Yuri Lowenthal like stawppp💀. Anyone who knows about me and my interests knows that I have a trying relationship with Yuri Lowenthal. Clive atp is prolly my fav Yuri Lowenthal character but I don't think he can take up the og for my fave yuri lowenthal voice performance (I LOVE YOSUKE!!!!)

If I'd have to pick like my favorite Clive thing... Probably still Sallufix's 'This Hurts' animation holy shit that thing is so good. The fact that tumblr user sallufix is my mutual still baffles me I am so in love with and enchanted by their work like hold shit they are like... The Clive drawer of all time to me. Also uh he made Envicto and I am obsessed with that man to no end no one even knows.

1. How many works do you have on Ao3? 11

2. What’s your total Ao3 word count? 102,347

3. What fandoms do you write for? These days, mainly DBD, though I have a few Outlast WIPs in the junk drawer.

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos? common tongue no one will know it but me it will come back Three-Faced human disaster

Pretty good variety here. Some of my older fics, some of my newer fics, and some in between.

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? I try to respond to comments when I can, if only to thank the reader for commenting. Some of them inspire me, some of them get my ass in gear to write a continuation, some of them [insert rule of thirds thing here].

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? It Gets Us All in the End, an interesting twist on hanahaki disease and how it could tie in to Gabriel Reyes' descent into Reaper.

8. Do you get hate on fics? Knocking on wood here....not really?

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? Yeah. When I write smut it tends to be kinky m/m stuff.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written? I write some. The wildest one was Bury the Lead, being something of a stealth crossover for Love Pistols. But if that doesn't count, uhhh I think I wrote a Dark Knight/Tiger & Bunny crossover once? can't find it in my writing folder tho, and it never got posted.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen? Not that I know of, but I always hope my fics will inspire fics with similar ships and ideas so that I can eat more cakes than I bake, yknow?

12. Have you ever had a fic translated? Yes, actually! My first fic, human disaster, was translated into Russian.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? Hmmm. I had a sequel in the works for Last Light that I never finished because I wasn't sure where to go with it. Aside from that, I'm very slowly chipping away at many, many WIPs that I still have hopes of finishing eventually.

16. What are your writing strengths? I try not to start uploading a fic unless I have it at least 90% done so readers won't have to wait on updates. That's more of a publishing strength, though, I guess. I write characters saying things that make readers laugh? And I've been told some of my fics were read by people outside of their fandom of origin, so I guess I write with enough exposition that they're approachable without much context.

17. What are your writing weaknesses? Taking forever to finish shit, editing as I go, all my stuff feels too short, not enough women, not editing enough after finishing, etc.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? If the POV character speaks the language, "I'd do it like this," <<Or like this.>> If they don't, I'd leave the actual dialogue out and write, A said something B couldn't understand, possibly in Lithuanian? And if it's important to the context of the story, put a short summary of what's being said in the end note. idk, it's a tough topic.

19. First fandom you wrote for? Ohhhh boy. Um, I think I had a WIP for Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle that I was going to post on ff.net back in the day?

It's not like I don't like people who are serious about their writing, it's more like having unrealistic expectations and standards pushed on me to fit into your narrative that I didn't ask for. I've been bullied and shamed and lied to in rp communities before. And I'm just like... over that kind of stuff. I just come here to write my little stories with my little online friends and that's as much as it is gonna be. Yannow?

FLUFF, ANGST, OR SMUT?: I love more serious things like angst. But I also like a bit of soft too. I like writing smut, but sometimes it takes me awhile to work up to it because like.... I don't wanna embarrass myself? lmao

PLOTS OR MEMES?: I like both! Memes are easier to just wash your hands of. But also they're great starters and ways to get to know each other more often than not! I'm honestly terrible at plotting cause I'm such a people pleaser. But- I'm more than happy to talk things out with others and see where it goes.

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES?: Both are fine I have no preference. Although I must say I have a tendency to ramble and multi-para even without meaning to. Cicero's got a lot going on in his head specifically and if I don't write it all out I feel like you're missing out on the experience, ya dig? So like... I LIKE writing both. Multifandom fic recs!

I mentioned doing a fic recs list the other day, and since I couldn't work on my needlepoint for a while (in which I feel like Mr. Thorton's mother doing her linen embroidering in North & South), I actually did one.

This is a multifandom recs list because it was more fun to just skim through various fandom bookmarks than to do a concentrated list for one show or whatever. I love the energy and all and I don’t want to offend but as a Muslim girl i can tell you that it is literally haram to identify as anything other than your god given gender. Like I’m not trying to be rude and I’m glad that there a respectful supportive people out there but if you’re looking at the Quran and other islamic book you’ll find stories about how its considered haram. Accepting the islam religion means accepting everything and dedicating yourself to it you can’t just pick and choose.

I would be interested to know what other Islamic books ur talking about btw, but I'm pretty sure the quran doesn't mention being trans anywhere at all. in fact I'm pretty certain, I've read it multiple times with translation and commentary interpretations and anyway being trans wasn't really a 'known' thing back then? bcuz obviously patriarchy and gender roles n segregation blah blah was wayyyy more yk. shit I forgot the word. uhhh yk like prevalent?? ofc the quran does mention a shitton about gender roles,, so yk men r the breadwinners, women raise the kids and keep house and be good wives etc. and also remember the big important fact:: GENDER AND SEX R DIFFERENT THINGS!!! meaning technically u cant be 'born' a gender (omfg my keyboard hates me imagine a question mark here) ur born with certain genitals and society assigns u a gender based on that . sounds a bit fucked when u put it like that actually but anyway back when the quran was being revealed this wasn't a known thing cuz yk they didn't have studies on this stuff,, and yea ur probably gonna say 'but the quran came from allah and he knows everything' well the fact of the matter is he either forgot or smth idk I don't speak for God but trans people definitely exist that's a fact we know so yeah. oh I should come back to my point which was, even with the quran saying those things about what ur supposed to do based on whats in ur pants which is crazy outdated anyway it doesn't take gender ≠ sex into consideration either soo ye that's the most it could've said about being trans and that not very valid anymore rip and that's not even mentioning non-binary people

oh you mean like on my desktop theme sidebar? uhhh it can be a bit of a long answer and im not sure if its neat at all but sure i'll tell you

so first you have to go here into the html on your theme

next you have to find your interests section in the code. you can do this quick by clicking anywhere on the html and pressing "ctrl + f" and searching up "interests"

^^ here's what it looks like for my code

after this, create some white space below that to place your image links. before you do that though, you should know the width of your sidebar. as you see above, the <table> width is 300 px, which corresponds with the length of my sidebar.

what you're going to make next is a <div>. these tags represent sections of html and can be stylized differently from other parts of your code. you should copy paste what i have below

this div removes annoying excessive spaces you'd get without putting this in.

ok next comes the images :) yay. the basic image syntax is this:

<img src="link">

easy enough right? but you're gonna want to have your images fit in your sidebar and more often than not, your images are gonna be the wrong dimensions. the solution is using the width attribute in the img tag.

<img src="link" width="300">

the width is measured in pixels and you'll have to choose the right size for yourself. if you're using large images, you should use the whole width of your sidebar. if you want to use images that use half, find and use the width of half your sidebar length; same idea goes for putting x amount of images on a single line.

there's a lot more you can do with the <img> tag and that info can be found here.

so now your section should look something like this

<div style="font-size:0;">

<img src="link" width="300">

</div>

note how i removed the <!-- insert images here --> part. that's bc that's a comment! you can put that in your code as personal labels or notes for yourself. all you need is the <!-- --> and you can put anything between that and it won't affect your code.

what you really do at this point is up to you. the code may get congested at times, so it's a good practice to cluster or label your images in sections like i did (but maybe you can be neater lol)

(extra note if you notice the images that go like <a href="url">link text</a> those are hyperlinks that you can put in images)

Languages I wish I could go back to studying: basically all of the ones I’m “studying” atm, but especially Kurdish and Tamasheq, since I haven’t studied either for a while and I love them, I wish I had more time ;;-;; I’d also like to someday return to Turkish or Portuguese, but too many languages too little brain :’)

Languages I never ended up studying but would if I was a career polyglot getting paid to just exist: I would love to learn all the Dravidian languages (like...all of them though, not just the four major ones), also Fulani, Zulu or Xhosa or both, and maybe Tsonga?? Also I’d love to learn a Polynesian language just because they sound beautiful, but since I don’t have time to actual invest in it then I’m not going to. This list could keep going tbh but I’m just going to cut it off here before I tempt myself any further.

Languages I am studying/have been studying: Recently, it’s been mostly Romani, Malayalam, Welsh, Amharic, and a bit of Basque. And by recently I mean within the last few months. In the long term, I am technically studying Western Abenaki, Tamasheq, Kurdish, and Bosnian as well, and I plan to add on Bambara and Wolof even though idk how that’s going to work when I can’t keep up anyway??? We’ll see, tune in to watch me clown on main.

Languages I can’t touch for [insert reason]: I don’t want to learn dead languages or conlangs invented by other people (I like conlanging very amateurly, but I’m not into the idea of learning Esperanto or, god forbid, Volapük, or something). This is because I feel like learning living languages that have connections to real people and cultures is something that’s important to me, for some reason learning languages that aren’t living or natural feels like a waste of my time. I do fully support people who want to learn them though, it’s definitely not a waste of your time and they are pretty cool! Just not for me I guess. 1. what was your first encounter with fanfiction? asjdfk god it was atl fic on livejournal and mibba in like 2010 maybe?? idek but it was all slash fic like had literally not heard of reader insert until i joined the sos fam properly in 2018. also don’t remember what my reaction to it was?? reading slash fic has been so normal for me for like 10 yrs i dont know how the fcuk it started 😂 this was before i got tumblr but i used to keep up to date with some of the bigger atl blogs like it was the morning news or sumat and like 90% of them wrote amazing fic so 🤷‍♀️
