Writing Star Wars fanfic is fun.

But also why has it been a running theme for me that the language stuff is absolutely batshit wild.

Like seriously I look for one word in Mando'a and ended up with four tabs open, three of which are various dictionaries and one of which is a grammar guide where I found one of the dictionaries, all of which have words that the other dictionaries don't have and the one that does have the word I was looking for has a different Mando'a translation than the one I've usually seen in fanfics.

Like is this a glitch or a feature with this fandom cause I've had this war with Dai Bendu as well.

just thought you should know that faster than a hairpin trigger is one of my favorite kacy fics. it's rare for a day to pass without me thinking about it at least once. it's currently 1 a.m. here and a large part of me wants to reread it right now...luckily the rational part of me that knows I have work in the morning is teaming up with with the sleepy part of me, which is gaining strength by the minute lol, to overcome the part that doesn't care about that stuff. anyway, i just want to thank you for writing and sharing it, and i hope you have a great day!

Messages like this are a very good reminder of why I started putting my stories out these in the first place. I've said it before, but I also have experience in the art of reading fic until a truly ridiculous hour and then going into work the next morning bleary-eyed and incredibly caffeinated, but also content.

The fact that my fic could cause that same kind of reaction in someone is nothing short of absolutely mind-boggling to me. So thank you, times a million, for sharing that with me. I genuinely appreciate it.
