Okay I don’t want to throw any stones but I’m disappointed with the transition between Jodie and David. Tennant’s Doctor has not only received one happy ending but now two, first with Rose in the other dimension and now with Donna as he heals himself. This storyline couldn’t have involved Jodie’s Doctor? Jodie couldn’t be the one that bi-generated and lived on Earth with the fam while Ncuti travelled the universe?

Wouldn’t it have been a great sense of whiplash, if the thirteenth Doctor regenerated to discover that they still have the same face, same outfit, same everything? That would have been more confusing, more off putting than regenerating into an old facade. With the help of the fam and old companions, they achieve everything the specials depicted. We could still include Donna, have her work it out, be best pals with this Doctor and teach her how to be human and tease her throughout. The banter would be there, just with a different face.

I just can’t wrap my head around Tennant returning and why his Doctor out of all of them is spoiled for choice and returns 🤷🏻‍♀️

DW sketches feat. TARDIS. I really like different takes on her in fanfics as she can be interesting character as well. I thought that if she would have some... humanoid personification [even as just projection] she would wear a bit different outfits based on current inside look. But overall I see her as an old lady. With TATTOOS.

As for 13 I really like headcanon take on her outfit to fit Doctor aesthetic more - to just have tattered outfit/suit. Overall I like to headcanon her as full of fake energy, always in hurry, bc she just can't take it anymore and everytime she's like "ah shoot, will deal with it later" and never does, which reflect her mental state more and more. I just see NewWho Doctor as very tragic and sad character. 13 is such wasted potential it makes me cry. References used: Twelve ; Missy

I have not been the same since Zheng Yi Sao became a character in our flag means death. It means so much to me that pirate-related media is representing her more because I never would have known about her and she is too cool to be forgotten.

For years pop culture either portrayed her as the racist "submissive asian woman" stereotype or ignored her completely. It's infuriating. Now though we have a strong portrayal of her in both doctor who and our flag means death!! Let me tell you a few things about the rightfully named "Pirate queen".

On average, most pirates died 2 years after starting piracy. Edward Teach died after two years, Stede Bonnet died after one and Israel Hands impressively died around 8 years after starting, all executed. Our pirate queen died at 68 after a successful 9 year career. In fact, she only stopped because she was made to surrender and lived the rest of her years in effective retirement.

She inherited her late husbands pirate fleets and at one point commanded around 1,800 ships. Blackbeard is believed to have a maximum of 5- likely because he didn't get along with people well enough to amass enough crews to run them. She had the largest fleet in history.

Zheng Yi Sao was a leader and undoubtedly one of the most successful pirates ever and yet we dare to forget her.

I have a lot of thoughts on episodes we shoulda gotten in 13’s era so ima reblog this everytime I think of a new one, but here’s a list of them so far

One focusing on yaz’s depression (I believe that yaz was depressed both bc of being bullied and having no friends and a chemical imbalance, maybe she runs out of meds at one point on the tardis and we see how 13 tries to help? Or it could be like through various flashbacks)

One about Ryan’s grief, both for grace and his mom- with bits about his relationship with his dad

One about Graham… idk what it could be but I like Graham and he should get an episode

One about Dan, again idk what but that man is criminally underdeveloped

One where River meets yaz and 13. It’d be so fun.

One where 13 and yaz get stuck somewhere together, preferably after both realize their feelings (altho having it before would be equally entertaining)

An episode with yaz’s sister as an important character

One where yaz gets taken by a villain and 13 becomes a tornado of fury to get her back

Like 10 more episodes with ONLY yaz and 13 as the main 2, like in the time period between graham/ryan and dan

13 and yaz going on a date, whether they know it’s a date or not

More episodes with Kate, her dynamic with 13 could be brilliant
