It was the early morning on May 7, 2007 – just after 4:00 a.m. – and 27-year-old Willebaldo Dorantes Antonio had just clocked out from his job as a vendor at Nathan’s Famous hot dogs in the food court of the Egyptian-themed pyramid-shaped Luxor hotel and casino on the Las Vegas Strip. Accompanying him was his new girlfriend, Caren Chali, who also worked at the Luxor.
The couple made their way to the top of the two-story parking garage behind the Luxor where Dorantes Antonio had parked his car. The young hot dog stand vendor noticed a coffee cup on top of his vehicle. Dorantes Antonio lifted the 24-ounce 7-11 Styrofoam coffee cup from the roof.
An explosion ripped through the night air.
Dorantes Antonio didn’t know – and would have no reason to have suspected – that within the coffee cup was a motion-activated pipe bomb. The explosive device mortally wounded Dorantes Antonio and sent shrapnel throughout the top floor of the garage, the jagged metal piercing other nearby vehicles.
Miraculously, Chali was uninjured by the bomb despite being only feet from the blast.
This was only a few years after 9/11, and national news media immediately speculated that the bombing was the result of a terrorist attack. But within hours, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department detectives determined that the murder of Dorantes Antonio was not the result of an international terrorist cell but instead stemmed from what local news media dubbed a “jilted lover” seeking revenge.

They won’t free the few remaining imprisoned Black Panthers but grant freedom to a white woman murderer who tried to frame Black people and evoke a race war with Charles Manson?!
I don’t care if she was used or since been changed… she killed innocent people because her leader said so. She followed orders.
She laughed in court during testimony about her victims!
Fq her! Fq that hew!

The Murder of Lisa Holm
Tumblr media
Lisa Holm was a 17-year-old girl from Sweden. At the time of her death, she was working a summer job at a coffee shop in Blomberg.
On 7th June 2015, Lisa finished her shift, she texted her father at 18.23 saying she was coming home on her moped. When Lisa did not arrive home, her father drove to the cafe, he found Lisa’s moped with the keys in the ignition but no sign of Lisa. After searching the local area and finding nothing, the police were called at 21.47.
On 9th June the search team found Lisa’s mobile phone case, receipts, train tickets and other small items of little value that had belonged to Lisa. The next day a pair of earrings, her license card for her moped and her house keys were found. The search continued at on 12th June when a missing person search of an estate near the cafe had just begun, two people arrived by car and told the search party that the area had already been searched, the search party found this suspicious and called the police while continuing to look. They soon found Lisa’s helmet, and later, her body in a work shed nearby.
Lisa had been murdered by hanging or, more likely, strangulation, she had likely been raped. The DNA of Nerijus Bilevicius was found on multiple places on Lisa’s body and clothing. Bilevicius had no alibi for the day Lisa went missing and furthermore was identified by the search party as one of the people who had told them to stop looking, indicating he knew Lisa’s body was there and did not want them to look. Bilevicius’s computer contained a lot of pornography. Bilevicius was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison.
On 3rd August 2022, Nerijus Bilevicius was stabbed to death by another inmate.

This is Lacy Phillips (age 11 at the time this was taken) who, along with her 34-year-old mother Mary, was kidnapped by Jack H. Jones, Jr on June 6, 1995. Jack tied Lacy to a chair in the bathroom, beat her unconscious and then proceeded to rape and murder her mother in the next room.
When police arrived at the scene, they initially believed both Mary and Lacy to be deceased. However, as the crime scene photographer was snapping photos of Lacy, she regained consciousness and looked at him.

Who was Little Miss Lake Panasoffkee?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
On February 19th, 1971, two teenagers were hitchhiking on a highway overpass near Lake Panasoffkee in Florida. Below them in the lake, they were horrified to see the body of a woman floating in the water. She was wearing a green poncho and plaid pants and a belt had been wrapped around her neck, suggesting she had been strangled. The woman has remained unidentified ever since, but a few clues have emerged thanks to forensic technology.
By examining isotopes, scientists confirmed she had spent her childhood in Greece, and had lived near Athens until about a year before her murder. Investigators had a theory that the woman had travelled from Greece for an Epiphany celebration, perhaps welcomed by the large Greek-American population nearby in Tarpon Springs.
A forensic examination of her hair confirmed she had only been in Florida for about 2 months. As the case gained popularity, it was featured on a Greek crime show. Immediately, a woman came forward to say that she believed the Jane Doe was a girl she went to prep School with, called Konstantina. The school trained it's students to be domestic helpers, and after successfully completing their course they were sent to Australia or America as part of a two-year work contract.
This woman lost contact with Konstantina so couldn't provide many details on her, but she knew that Konstantina was sent to America at exactly the same time as the forensic testing indicated the victim had. Though it seems a strong lead, the case remains cold.

I can't wait to use my mom's phone to dump post again. She's getting discharged today, all depending on the blood work. I'm so looking forward to being rewarded, even though I don't expect myself to be nowadays. The truth is, though, I'm spoiled, but I wouldn't have have it any other way.
Anyway, I'm listening to True Crime Brewery, a true crime podcast involving beer + cases that nobody would ever hear about otherwise. 10 out of 10, totes recommend. What a time to be alive! See you on my mom's phone!
