I'm at the point of existing where I don't care about your comfort if you don't care about mine. Which means if a neurotypical is talking abt some bullshit that no one cares about, or even worse, barely talking back? I will start telling them about how in Seduce Me The Demon War, Sam's character arc
(Spoilers under the cut)
revolving around his connection to the demon world and how important a soul bond is to him is actually way more indepth than it fucking seems because here's this badass guy who so deeply wants to show his love to his partner in a way that's special to them and himself, always knowing where they are, if they're okay, etc. And getting ready for the war against HIS FATHER, his hatred boiling up, Saero constantly poking at him trying to get a reaction, which he will ALWAYS get. Just GRA!!! I will start talking about the most interesting shit to me, I don't care if you're not interested, because I could not fucking care less about football.

(@wingsofachampion) Hiya! Did you find out if eyedrop trees exist here in the human world? -Tropius
I DID
It's no wonder I haven't heard of them, they are EXCEPTIONALLY rare. Very exciting. There is only one known living specimen in fact - it's location is kept secret for the tree's protection, but the research I was able to find also mentioned that there is a couple of related species that they found. The related species (ALSO very rare and protected) produce different kind of irritants that cause either temporary nearsightedness or just kinda make your eyes itchy, depending on the specimen.
The existence of these two v similar, more dangerous trees suggest that the harmless eyedrop tree is engaging in what's known as Batesian Mimicry, wherein a harmless species evolves to imitate a more dangerous, usually venomous or poisonous, species. Batesian Mimicry only works when there are less of the imitation species than the specifies being imitated, so wherever these trees came from the two (or more!! We don't know!) Poisonous combined would likely outnumber the harmless eyedrop tree.
They are also struggling to keep the eyedrop tree alive :/ seems the extra moisture makes it very susceptible to mold, and it either doesn't have a defense for this or it doesn't know how to deploy it against the type of mold it keeps contracting.
SUPER interesting stuff, thank you for sharing!!

Please tell me if I am reading this wrong. But is this person saying that alters/parts/people aren't their own people???? Like genuinely that is how we read it. We read it as "Alters aren't their own people, they're just parts of the 'core'" (oversimplified). And I can't imagine heavily gatekeeping THAT.
PLEASE dm/send an ask/reblog and let me know if I'm reading this wrong /g /np
