What color would you want a bag to be?

That's a really great question! Okay so...

For a casual going out bag:

Black - Preferable due to most of my outing clothing and shoes being mostly black and/or white, so there's no need to colour coordinate too much here.

Type of bag - Shoulder or cross body

For just going out doing errands or to the library I would go:

Beige/cream - Although I know it is quick to dirty, I like the colour and it would suit my default errand outfit. (jeans w/ a white top or grey sweatpants w/ a white top).

Type of bag - Tote bag

For anything formal or for a very important event:

Pink - All of my formal dresses are just white or black so I think pink would absolutely stand out against it!! But light pink tho, not dark.

Type of bag - Shoulder or clutch

For if I was going to the beach or pools:

Translucent - the material would matter too, I need non-absorbing fabric, but the reason I want translucent is because I don't do well in the heat nor do my eyes so being able to see through my bag allows me to quickly grab what I need and let's thieves see there's nothing to steal.

Type of bag - Tote bag

For work or school or an interview:

Any colour that isn't neon.
