(art by me for The Lit Books & Bar Tiny Art Show - Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones. All paintings 4"x6", watercolor, prismacolor pencil, gouache)
I’m not gunna lie this is my fave cube I made for the group show Little Shit, Big Deal group put on by @strangecattoys and organized by @blindbagtoyaddict ! Making that tiny skeleton made me cry. He’s only 2 inches tall! The show is this Saturday the 4th at strange cat toys (11am) and whatever doesn’t sell goes online at 2pm (Florida time). Photos by @kaypeacreations. Make sure to check out the flyer on strange cat toys page to see all the artists in the show!
never carving anything this tiny and dry ever again. this is why sgraffito is done when pottery is leather hard; it flakes if it’s too dry. I had to touch this piece up with underglaze after carving it.
this mouse is based off one of the dancing mice by Gerhard Heilmann
Just a lil photo dump of some of the miniature paintings I've created in the last few months :3
I've made all of them available as printable downloads if you want some easy modern art for your miniature setups/dollhouse, and half of them are also available for purchase as tiny originals.
On a side note, I'm kinda tempted to recreate some of them in actual scale 😅... so I guess these also kind of function as tiny mockups?
Ok ok this the last one for today i swear -not because i have an entire folder of unfinished fanart and a job i have to get to taking me away for hours-
*gives this lil stressball scrimblo to @mishacakes*
