my sad boy. he’s personal to me, but I love that he speaks to other people
there’s a few cracks ☹️ though honestly that seems like great symbolism
but his tattoos and piercings turned out great
and the back of his head is suitably horrible. I had originally covered his hands in blood but I wiped it back when I didn’t like it, and it turned into such a nice (and unplanned) effect to just have a little red staining his hands
the stain I used to make the slip is called Golden Ambrosia, so I’m hoping for a golden yellow but… admittedly I’ve never tested this one lol
newest clay guardian, a dysphoric deer
some angles of this one are great, and then others 🫤 not sure if it actually needs fixing or if I just spent too long staring at it today. 5-6 hours is maybe too much
re: feline bowl's medium: the met's collection page for it does say it's stone! (I in no way intend to suggest that museums never have errors on their collection sites, but stone vs. ceramic really is an easy distinction to make if you get to touch the object)
thanks!
I had thought it was stone but I second guess myself out of correct answers 😅
Feline Bowl from the 14th - early 16th century made during the time of the Inka Empire (Tawantinsuyu).

@citruscity added your ID to the original, thank you!
