guys pls be careful with anyone going into your inbox and asking for donations. unless you know them personally it's almost always a scam. look at blogs and ask yourself if it seems legit. search the contents of the ask and see if theyve sent the same ask to other people completely unrelated to your sphere. scam blogs now are reblogging some posts to seem legit but only have maybe five posts maximum, all reblogs. almost all of them being unrelated save for a topic similar to the one they are asking money for. recently theres been a scam of someone asking for donations for a family member in palestine. PLEASE check before posting or donating. use critical thinking skills. its disgusting there are people using this genocide as a way to scam others out of money. lastly please look towards actual palestinian bloggers who can verify donation links. remember: if theyre in your inbox it's highly likely its a scam

i once saw this video on tiktok basically saying that percy gets annoyed with monsters more than he gets scared of them because of his years of experience. and i honestly fuck with it. like, this man only feels true fear when the stakes are high as shit, like if the world or his loved ones' lives are on the line. other than that, he's just slightly spiffed that this hellhound bothered him because he and annabeth have a lunch date. or he's only mildly annoyed because he's just trying to spend time with grover on their "bestie tuesday's" but has to hit pause because an empousa decided they wanted a rematch.

Johnshi in MKX

So at the end of the first chapter of MKX, Johnny uses his green glow to save Sonya from Shinnok

Then, 20 years later, he tells the kombat kids about it and says this

"I've never been able to re-summon that green halo. Raiden thinks it was triggered when I saw a loved one about to die."

HOWEVER, we DO see ONE instance of Johnny using his green glow BEFORE he saves Sonya

At the beginning of the first chapter, Johnny, Kenshi, and Sonya are on a helicopter when they get attacked by Scorpion

Kenshi immediately pushes Johnny out of the way to protect him

Then gets hit by a blast of fire from Scorpion

And then Johnny uses his green glow to kick Scorpion away from Kenshi

Kenshi is one of Johnny's loved ones

One thing I really enjoy about transition is when the changes in hormones slow down...

It feels like I am a house settling, shifting ever-so-slightly, and becoming one with this new foundation.

I don't have a "typical" body, but so do the other guys in my family. I look like them now. I've been told I looked like my father when he was a teenager, and I feel as though I am in the mentality I need to be in.

So many people are excited when they get all these new changes all at once, and then they might become disappointed when their second puberty starts to slow down, but I find I am the opposite. I am so much more at peace than I was before, and that's saying something when I was at peace a month into my changes.

#trans #transgender #lgbt #lgbtq #ftm #mtf #nonbinary #i feel like my experiences are 'atypical' but like... my family is kinda that way #like the guys in my family have the same-ish body type i do so i haven't always been dysphoric about it #i was mostly dysphoric about the fact i don't and can't fit into the 'typical male' archetype #but like... my dad doesn't fit into that at all and nobody gives him shit for it so hey what do i have to contend with #i'm getting close to the three-year mark and from my observations that tends to be where your changes do still happen...#...but it isn't always as quick/intense as it once was. your body tends to settle down y'know? that's where i feel i'm at #like i'd appreciate more body hair on my stomach and my mustache kurtis but that could take a bit and that's okay #it takes years for a cis man with testosterone YEARS for his hair to mature sometimes #and tbh i think we should celebrate that. you are a fine wine; you will only become fuller and richer as time goes on #you'll mature into a full-bodied wine that lingers on your tongue and leaves you craving more #alright i'm done with the wine metaphor because i only know so little about wine and alcohol 👍

Is anyone willing to explain where the rumour that Ace Attorney is supposed to be a critique/parody of the actual Japanese legal system even originated from? I spent a few days reading and skimming through Shu Takumi interviews, and he and the other writers/developpers seem pretty adamant on insisting that the court system is based on nothing at all. Takumi himself even mentions that he avoids referencing anything that draws explicitly from real life in his games to make them more "universal" and less likely to feel outdated.

But every time the question of the law system comes up he always #says ''This is fictional this is FICTIONAL I am not and have not and will not base it on anything in real life''#This is also not to say that certain elements in Ace Attorney don't ressemble the Japanese court system to some extent. did some quick #research and the amount of power the prosecutors have in the game seems. not exactly Close but very reminiscent of the actual corruption #that goes on within the judicial system in Japan in a way that I don't feel is very coincidental.#That being said Takumi insists that this is first and foremost a mystery game and I'm inclined to agree given that for the first trilogy an #political commentary is pretty surface-level and lukewarm #(I haven't played all of the games yet)#So yeah anyways who started saying this.
