OKAY ONE LAST POST ABT THE FINALE. aka: how we almost got petrigrof homura/madoka level timeline fuckery

i had a huge revelation while coping. the final bus stop scene is REALLY important, i have a feeling it was a little more than a visual parallel. golbetty was basically communicating with simon the best she could by hijacking his mind and putting him in situations- the whole bit with casper and nova was her heavyhanded way of explaining to him what shes been thinking about regarding their past . not in a breakup way, not in a "were not good for each other" way, she doesnt regret it. its never been about blaming simon, he was only ever a bystander. shes just telling him how she feels, what would need to change. he realizes this and understands! she takes him to the bus stop and we all know how this goes. he passes the "test" and meets her on equal footing, shes so so happy. and she is SO ready to drag him onto the bus before he stops her. the bus stop is an ultimatum. if he follows her, they potentially both die in the mushroom war. he isnt there to take care of marcy and ooo gets overrun by vampires. every other horrific alternate universe without a simon in ooo could come to fruition if they never pursue the enchiridion. but they could start all over here, with a healthier beginning. they could both be so so happy. betty offers him the chance to go back and fix their mistakes, to study petroglyphs together. but there are no do-overs. not unless youre a god of chaos merged with a woman with a penchant for disrupting time to be with your fiance, that is! i believe this was more than a metaphor, she was 100% ready to pull some timeline bullshit to get a new begining. but this time she lets simon decide if he wants this- a chance he didnt get when she jumped through that time portal so long ago. simon makes his choice: this isnt how it happened. he has people that care for him back in ooo, hes okay with where his life has lead him. he has marcy and finn and everyone else- he doesnt want a do-over. now that hes finally seen betty again hes ready to go back and finally live the life she gave him. shes okay with this. its bittesweet but her wish contract is fulfilled, simons safe now, and she can move on. he chooses to continue his life as it is, and so she chooses to continue hers, wherever her reincarnation leads her, without him for once.

TLDR; the bus stop and the petroglyphs were an offer from betty to pull some timeline bullshit and give them a happy beginning. one last crazy chance to fix EVERYTHING. but its time to end the cycle. its been doomed since the start, and they wouldnt have it any other way.

Everyone just assuming Yumiella was lying about her level even though the damn skill assessment magic ball displayed it was annoying. If it’s never happened before(ball being wrong), why would it happen now 🤦🏽‍♂️ . Yumiella’s just trying to live a chill life and you got these dweebs hounding her out of jealousy and their own insecurity.

Love how when the three male love interests confront her she’s just like “why don’t you go bother that girl over there and leave me alone” 😂 . The prince, Will and Oz were just in massive denial the entire episode. Hell even the principal couldn’t believe someone was level 99.

She easily beat will’s ass in the sword training class, buddy got beat out of the episode. We didn’t see him again lmao

Shoutout to the teacher standing up for Yumiella in front of the prince and principal. That’s the type of teacher everyone needs. Going to bat for her student, even though they just met.

Don’t blame Yumiella at all for going straight for her most powerful spell. I would’ve destroyed a couple buildings to go along with it. The prince did say he’d take responsibility with that smug face after all 🤷🏾‍♂️ they’ll have to do some character redeeming for me to be able to like him and the two other love interests

Really good episode. Yumiella is a villainess unlike any we’ve seen before and I can’t wait to see where things go

“Honestly, I can’t complain much.” Maki said, shrugging as she took the towel off her head and proceeded to comb her hair. “I mean, the skin still feels a little too tight around the burnt scars, and it’s gonna be a bit of a bummer, waiting for my hair to grow back. But could’ve been worse, y’know? I’m here to tell the tale.”

“And short hair looks good on you too.” Was Nobara’s answer, as she adjusted what looked like a very flashy eyepatch. “Also, same here. Cannot recommend the experience either, but damn if I won’t make a new accessory work either.” That sounds like she had already gotten herself a set for every occasion and even outfit, and… good for her, really.

Besides, her attitude was getting contagious, something that Maki was more than grateful for. So much she hoped her next question wouldn’t ruin it.

“Aren’t you worried? Nishimiya wasn’t exaggerating with the whole thing about women and looking flawless.”

“Pfft, nah.” Nobara instantly shook her head. “I don’t need some bunch of asshole guys to tell me I’m pretty. I know I am.” Hair done, Maki left the comb over the sink and shamelessly allowed herself to stare at Nobara as she spoke… getting lost on the sight for a second. “... you’re beautiful, Maki-san.”

The fact that something was what pulled her back… huh. Definitely something. Not like it was taking her by surprise either.

“I think people should be more like you, y’know?” Instead of thanking her in a direct way, Maki’s approach was simple: one genuine compliment for another, one confession of sorts for another.

And Nobara? She smiled.

I'm tempted to watch one of those "how totk actually fits in the Zelda timeline!" videos even though I know 99% of it will be just copium about the fact that the game doesn't care about continuity and is soft resetting the lore. I was able to stomach a video about how Hyrule Warriors should be canon because it explains Breath of the Wild existing,so this should be nothing. I'm a HW liker but damn.

And no lol, this isn't a jab at Zelda theorists, I enjoy a good number of them and their videos. I just think a bunch of them get way too attached to their personal headcanons and get very mad when they're not proven true. I also feel like a lot of them are hesitant to call their elaborate theories fanfic because... Let's be real, a lot of them are very much fanfic territory, but that's the dreaded f word that would discredit their very serious theorizing (it honestly wouldn't!!!).

That one poster was right. Totk really was the game that said "fuck you" to the timeline and almost killed all the theorists, I know at least one of them detests the story of the game and I'm almost sure it has nothing to do with the quality of the story itself and everything to do with how it refuses to adhere to the strictness of the timeline + zonai lore being absolutely nothing like what anyone expected

Ok I have to give the opps this. Jm is definitely clingier and touchier than Jk. By far. And that photo yesterday of them "holding hands" was absolutely Jk pushing him off. But you kinda have to drink the copium and observe how Jk interacts with the rest of bts and you'll notice the subtle differences with Jm........... Trust me guys the differences are there I swear jokerbros I swear just trust me bro just trust me on this one I swear Jk only looks ninety six percent disgusted when Jm touches him as opposed to the usual 99.... We're not clowns anon we're not! She will be back I know this. This isn't a very long post but I'll still put it under a cut so I won't clog anyone's dash. Here's my take on how Nobara can, and hopefully will, be important in the series going forward. (Spoilers up to ch 199)

Right, so I do mean her cursed technique as a way to injure Sukuna! Nobara's been stablished to be able to hurt souls before, and I'm going to go out on a limb and say that if she does come back understanding the core of cursed energy better, as she was trying to do, she should be able to pinpoint where exactly Yuji's soul ends and where Sukuna's begins. IF and only if she is able to see this, then nothing stops her from just doing this to Sukuna:

There are a lot of caveats though, Sukuna is immensely strong, for one, and the damage from Resonance really varies depending on the strength difference between Nobara and her target, so we'll need a way to bypass this and maybe have someone else weaken him. Now if we're talking about saving Yuji, the latest chapter gave us a new problem, since Angel says 99% of the times trying to separate a vessel from a cursed object will end with them dying, but it's not a 100% chance! This may just be Gege's way of foreshadowing something with that 1%. And if Nobara does have anything to do with helping Yuji that would make it twice she beat these silly percentages, as Arata said her survival chance "was low but not 0%" :)

Oh, and while writing this post it just occurred to me that Resonance may be a sure-hit type of attack, similar (but not the same) to Kashimo's lightning. Makes me wonder what would happen if Nobara were to use it on one of Sukuna's fingers. She can disable cursed tools (Momo's broom) so maybe she is also able to disable cursed objects like the fingers, and I'm using the word disable because cursed objects can't be destroyed, but who knows maybe affecting the soul of them actually could destroy them, since now we know per chapter 198 inanimate objects have souls as well. There's still the power difference between her and Sukuna, but his fingers are another way she could reach his soul without necessarily "seeing" it.

I do believe Nobara's return will have her more involved with the plot (copium) so this could be a cool way of doing that. I don't have more theories regarding this or how she could get to a level to actually hurt someone like that, but the setup is really there imo, and killing Sukuna's soul does seem like the easiest way to get rid of him while keeping Yuji alive.

So yeah they're basically reveal all harbringer we really need to know for longest time eventhough some still wearing mask but Dottore basically gonna appear at Sumeru so just Capitano still hidden don't know maybe he's just shy like Kalpas lol

Let's talk a bit about these info and leak so far :

Long long time ago leakers said "not all harbringer are playable" so I think it's safe that we can cross that elf Pulcinella for reasons we all know (lol) tbh I can't imagine hoyo makes him playable as they're known for racking money as much as possible but he's feature in Teyvat prologue... Well let's see someday~

But after thinking again it's fit for him to become our guide at Snezhnaya (well I mean featured chara from Teyvat prologue are our guides right). He sounds like the most good person based on Tartaglia voiceline while everyone at Harbringer are evil to the core(lol), I won't suprise if it's him not Tartaglia the one who guide us to Morepesok (or meeting Tartaglia families) later !

It's moreless 99% true Dottore gonna be playable, it's just we don't know when maybe at or after Sumeru (and we know him a bit from manga). Let's see if he gonna meet Collei there~

I keep looking at comment "Pantalone pretty similar to Baizhu". Well, maybe just similar design like Diona Dori but we can't cross that possibility since it's pretty sure there's a reasons why Baizhu still not playable and even talked about Changsheng lore...

To add the info in Pale Flame lore it stated that Pantalone doesn't have a vision so maybe he's using delusion or something else if he become playable...

Despite her talk, I love Arlecchino design ! She sounds... regal maybe ? But based on Tartaglia voiceline she seems easy to switching side, just my speculation maybe when we're arriving at Snezhnaya some unexpectable harbringer gonna betray Tsaritsa and join us (for unknown reason I think Tartaglia isn't include there, he believe in Tsaritsa more than us thought)

The first time I think when saw Columbina from video thumbail is "don't tell me Sushang exp !". Yeah she's not having zoom scene but she looks like Sushang or Nuwa Fuxi exp ugh I can't difference them

Pierro is some minor players want to be playable characters type (lol) I remember asked my irl friend about what kind of character you want to playable ? Then she said old man with beard and loli male. For her cause I hope he can playable hahaha

This just a speculation but I think Sandrone gonna appear at Fontaine (she really suitable there)

From all harbringer the one I really want to see is Capitano (additionaly Pulcinella but in the end he's just an elf lol) since saw Tartaglia voiceline leak and unfortunately he hide his face (lol). I really hope he's playable even Tartaglia himself acknowledge his strength so won't makes him playable kinda arguable right plus he's Sesshomaru JPN VA sir ! Making him just a NPC pretty laughable right~

The hum-hum part melodies Columbina (I assumed ?) sung really similar to current event Griseo theme song🤣

PS : Hype are good but don't forget most of these hot & beautiful people won't become playable for at least we're entering Fontaine or more (lol) so don't do any copium things like blowing your head because of waiting too long~

Minami Anon x3 but so real………. Yeah idk how old he's meant to be but he very much gives me like 21-30 35 at oldest age range vibes. Which I think/agree is a factor in Why He Is Like That. I know its technically noncanon but i also think a lot about the implications of Minami once never drinking but then when he discovered fire breathing he started drinking 24/7 from this one scene w Majima in dead souls like hmmmmmmm….. wonder what’s going on there buddy…….. something you'd like to share with the class Minami about how you perceive yourself/any potential wants for attention. Anyways it’s okay if the you sound untranslatable I understand and also relate to that feeling of 24/7 thinking i come across as incomprehensible 💖 no pressure to do so but I would personally love to read that Saejima teacher ramble and how it affects Minami etc etc also

and then the ehhhh half-subjective half-objective tragedy of him succumbing to a vice to the point of functional alcoholism (or currently functional aud as some folks call it, which is unfortunate naming conventions for those who use australian currency) implying he's been a "pretty good drinker" for an extended amount of time. and the kicker is majima totally could not care less. there's no evidence to Him Specifically being the one who got Minami to drink but it's absolutely regular Family practice, if the boy wants to fit in with the Majimagumi he needs to top up!

hc shit-i-made-up territory but i LIKE to believe that Majima personally influenced him this way during whatever limited time they had in direct contact with each other (cause while you COULD have their dynamic between a twat who signed up + the twat who runs the business and nothing more its not as fun. a little too parasocial methinks) but this is 99% due to me finding a song that makes me imagine the perfect sequence for this (dont get me.started on Majimagumi songs. i like to delude myself into thinking i'll animate to one of them eventually). also considering the kind of man Majima was during Shimano-servant-era i feel like it wouldnt be too out of character. he's not a malicious person but by god he does stupid shit and hurts people so much in so many horrific ways he could not care less about putting some highschool level peer-pressure shit on the new recruit just because he's Bored. what's one more hurt person in the grand scheme of things.

Alllso... getting back on track..? WHY was Minami straight edge in the first place. it could be any reason under the sun but the way it's worded here really sounds like it took a lot of willpower to break his resolve to just have a sip, just tryyyyyyy it, yadda yadda. if Minami is as punk as i totally project unto him to be, then he'd be no stranger to lives lived in excess..... i could not tell you for certain that Straight-Edge was a Punk Thing in pre-2010 Japan whatsoever. an attitude, sure, but i'm talking music scene shit........ however, gigs involve lots of booze at the bare minimum regardless of country. 'tis just the way of life. and 'tis a plausible outlet for WHY he seemed to have such a strong unwillingness to drink....

you know, outside of other stuff like experiences with friends and family. those can work too. those are considerably more sad and personal... those can work alongside gig culture shit. i dont have anything explicitly outlined but its definitely something i'd like to write for him... make up a little backstory so i can maybe explore some themes that RGG wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole, like addiction. it interests me a lot and getting it somewhat RIGHT interests me a lot. i know for sure RGG would fuck it up LMAO
