Fluff alphabet - ikevamp headcanons (Theodorus Van Gogh)

A ctivities - What do they like to do with their s/o? How do they spend their free time with them?

Depends tbh

He takes you out to see an art exposition (which basically is kinda like work for him,,, but he still enjoys it nonetheless)

Spends time with you and Vincent!!! If it's sunny then you're probably going to have a picnic in the garden, enjoying the warm rays of the sun as his brother paints

SOMETIMES!!! IF YOU ASK HIM TO!!!! He'll let you come with him and Arthur to the pub

He'd rather you not come bc it's full of drunkards who just want to hit on pretty women and start a fight

But every once in a while it's nice to enjoy a drink with you and his bestfriend although he'll admit it with flushed cheeks

He loves your determination and your courage even if they might get you in trouble sometimes

He finds it kinda hot when you stand up for him, for Vincent, for artists' rights and all of the like

He's used to put on the tough guy facade when he's at work but he's extremely grateful that he can let his guard down whenever he's around you or Vincent lmao

He'll also be hyper aware of your surroundings, searching for anything that could make you feel even worse, and takes you to a secluded place

He's a bit awkward with words when it comes to being kind and to anything that isn't businesses-related, he's more of an action-first-talk-later type of man

He's so busy he doesn't stop to think about it unless someone actually asks him what his plans with you are

He wants to marry you, that's for sure, so that everyone knows you're his and he is yours

When it comes to kids he wants to wait a bit, he's super busy and honestly he' a tad bit insecure, too (who wouldn't be?)

If it happened "by accident" he'd still be happy of course, but I think he spends so much time and energies on his job that handling kids would be too much for him

So he'll wait for things to calm down a little, he wants to be there for the kids after all

If he knows you really want them though, he'll happily comply

Dominant

He's so used to being with Vincent (which is rather passive) that he tends to be the leading one in relationships

This doesn't mean he doesn't take into account your feelings and always acts on his own though

He often knows what you're thinking about so he'll act accordingly

When you finally call him out for it, he'll act as if he doesn't know what you're talking about at first, then he just,,, says some theo style mean stuff and that's when you snap

Your reactions change depending on the topic but they can vary from sulking to stomping away in tears

He sighs to himself and gives you some time and space, then he comes to you and you sort it out one way or the other

So basically your fights are just because he doesn't want to burden you too much

G ratitude - How grateful are they in general? Are they aware of what their s/o is doing for them?

Of course he's grateful

He's grateful that someone as sweet and caring as you fell for him

He's grateful for all the times you worry for him, even if he thinks he doesn't really deserve it

He's grateful for your happy smiles and kind words

He's grateful you acknowledge his passion, his job and most of all you understand his goal and ideals

H onesty - Do they have secrets they hide from their s/o? Or do they share everything?

Like I previously said, the fact that he usually tends to keep things for himself tend to bring you two to fight

He hides things from you because he doesn't want to worry you more than necessary and he sure as hell doesn't want to put you in danger (especially when it comes to the Academy)

He also doesn't say all the kind words of appreciation he has for you because he wants to appear tough and he's just a tsundere

On certain occasions though, when he truly feels his heart brimming with warmth and love for you, he'll just tell you how much he loves you, how beautiful you are, and every little thing that passes in his mind

I nspiration - Did their s/o change them somehow, or the other way around? Like trying out new things or helped them overcome personal problems?

You helped him see things from a different perspective and to take things slower

You also helped him understand that he doesn't necessarily need to put others first and that he doesn't need to suppress his needs to give space to others

Since he's pretty possessive it's more common to see him jealous than not. Hell, he'd be even jealous about Vincent if you spent too much time with him.

He doesn't really get flustered when he has to say and show that you are his, why do you think he chooses to call you Hondje even when in public huh?

He glares at whoever tries something on you and if they don't give up, he punches them

If you're in a situation in which he can't immediately intervene he just trusts that you won't choose some random guy over him. After it though, he'd want to spend some time with you (either cuddles or something else wink wonk), to let you know that he loves you and that you are the only one love of his heart.

K iss - Are they a good kisser? What was the first kiss like?

If he's in the right mood for it he'd be able to make your knees weak in seconds.

His kisses are usually a bit rough and they sometimes involve some pulling and groping here and there.

You first kiss together was actually more tender than what you'd expect from someone like him. It was your first one together and he wanted you to enjoy the experience as much as possible.

Anyways his kisses make your head spin and he always makes sure to leave you wanting for more because,,,, he's a tease

He doesn't really think about it, it feels so natural for him to be with you that marriage would only change your civic status. You two are already bound for eternity wedding or not.

That doesn't mean he doesn't want to take the big step though, it's still symbolic (the only symbolic thing he actually cares about lol)

He'd totally surprise you with his proposal. It'd be a bit like Jumin's valentine date.

Important day, he's not there because of work/"I have forgotten", actually not it's just a prank, takes you by surprise bc he actually comes home earlier!!!! And he remembers too!!!, you're delightedly surprised, proposal, happy ending

What does it feel like to sell merch?? I cant imagine how nice it is for people to want to buy something you made :o ive always wanted your BMC poster but cant irder stuff online much but just know i Love it

ahh thank you so much i’m glad you like it!!

getting an order for stuff feels really really cool tbh especially when i’m violently oscillating between thinking my art is mediocre and aggressively hating it

but i’m gonna be super legit with you here: i don’t think i should’ve opened a store. at least not when i did

(under a read more cause i just had to vent you know)

now i wanna be clear i’m not shaming anyone for not buying things or anything like that, trust me i get it we can’t all be buying posters and whatnot when we’ve got bills to pay. but even with about 4k followers, i do not have the audience to have a profitable online store.

i was kind of mislead (AGAIN not shaming just like miscommunication) by people i talked to at the bmc stage door as well as people online about how many people would be interested in buying my stuff. especially cause, when you’re ordering prints, it’s W A Y cheaper to buy in bulk, so i bought more than i was already expecting to sell under the impression that it would pay off in the end

obviously it has not and that’s why i did a preorder of the pjo posters. even t h e n, i bought an additional five just in case and i have been unable to sell them in the past five months or so

i totally get that running a business starts with spending money, but in my case, i’m still at a loss and i have like 50+ posters that are just sitting around my house waiting to get sold which is, honestly, really really embarrassing because i think my parents thought i was going to be much more successful at this than i have been

so yeah, for anyone who is thinking about doing an online store do preorders, do polls not only about who would LIKE merch from you but who would be able to feasibly buy it, and honestly, go out of stock before overbuying because i do not know what to do with these extras

(note: i’m kind of very anxious about money rn because i spent ~$500 on professional and publication stuff this month in the form of website things and isbn numbers and still have to pay for a copyright, so this has been bothering me a lot. sorry anon for going off it totally wasn’t you, just pent up frustration at myself)

.....it's 2:40am. You know what that means! Time to question✨everything✨about myself and my relationships while no one is around to ground me to reality. The only reasonable thing to do at 2:40 in the freaking morning :D

Y'know that feeling that's like nothing about you is real and you faked and cheated everything to get where you are at now even though you know for a fact you didn't? 'S like that but also not that at all. Idk how to explain it so I'm moving on.

Imma blame the nap I took earlier on why I'm still awake and not the constant fear that imma say or do something stupid and everyone around me is gonna realize how much of a screw-up I am and how it's really not of any use to keep me around so everyone leaves without a second glance that's rolling around in my head.

Really though. Who would want to keep around someone who questions their friendship non-stop and needs to be constantly told they are worth something.

Genuinely baffles me everytime someone says they like anything I've ever done. That post bean made awhile ago saying she likes listening to my rants is wild tbh. Idk, ig no ones ever said they like hearing me talk, let alone about something I'm actually interested in. People genuinely liking my art and telling me my singing is good. It's odd.

I really gotta stop saying stuff like that. My family loves and cares for me. They feed me and put a roof over my head and that's so much more than other's can say. I gotta be more grateful.

was trying to think of a way to divide up ocs on toyhouse so i don’t get too embarrassed about them yesterday but then it turned into just trying to list like every character i’ve ever made the vast majority of them i’d never put on toyhouse lol. but this was fun for myself even though i definitely forgot chracters and even whole stories from when i was younger

kinda old (definitely need updating they’re from when i was 17/18 and haven’t done much in recent years but nonetheless are my most recent ocs and i would probably like to do something with them someday still):

all the alienated characters - raul and michael primarily, also side characters like their relatives (lennie, joaquin, marcell, maybe also shinsuke, natalia, nina, naomi, hana, leela, etc) and friends (still need to name them lol) etc

justicia (less set on doing her story any time soon compared to alienated, but still theres something to it i might want to work with someday)

pretty old (like i was 16-17)

gf debate characters (this is actually older than a lot of the ones i list as even older in this list but i kept working on them til i was like 17 so they hold up better even if i don’t want to finish making their story anymore) - isaac, micah (micah is literally kinda from when i was 12 lol but i brought her to like 3 different stories and she was a boy in the first one too so shes basically not that character anymore), and then side characters like mirabel (originated in same story at 12 as micah), ay��in, anna, micahs mom and her wife, micahs cousin (another one from that old story) etc

those ocs that literally none of them have names or barely personalities i only ever did character sketches and basic concepts but its like a ghost story thing i was gonna do - 12 y/o baby butch protag, the ghost girl, baby butch’s trans girl cousin, cousins trans guy friend

really old (characters from when i was like 14-15 that did not really develop much from there. most of these are characters i have had fun with and maybe drawn since but are goofy and don’t hold up in a lot of aspects and most of them i’ll probably never pick up for stories again)

football lesbians - monica, wanda, and rania

pigeon magical girls (technically maybe i actually finished a very abbreviated version of their origin story for a school art project when i was 15 lol but i planned to do more back then and now i dont want to) - zehra, ronni, the pigeon, probably not amy and zoë that was just a cameo for myself of ocs from when i was like 11 lol

naomi’s story (this one i might actually want to do something with someday, i wrote a short story about it plus a bit more, but i have to make some serious changes i don’t really think i thought of some of the implications of some stuff in it before) - just naomi and the ghost basically. not to be confused with naomi in alienated who is michael’s sister they are not at all the same person

assorted characters that never really had a story - mels and cvijeta, charlotte (thought about putting her in football lesbians. she does basketball but. jock wlw you know)

really really old (characters from late middle school, like 13-14)

uhhh that wizards story. it never had a name idk. i still kinda like them though tbh even if i’ll never do anything with them anymore - tess, ali, nataline, brandy, mo, remora, cnidarian

really really really old (characters from the middle of middle school, like 12-13. at this point my recollection of what came before what might be kinda off tho)

that fae folk in pennsylvania and ohio story - emilia, ilana, micah (first version! lol), mirabel, that boy that i just hate and don’t remember the name of and resent making a character that had a crush on micah, micahs cousin, darling/angel (a faerie that just went by terms of endearment as if they were names), uhhh the second group of characters in a different more rural town i tried to write that i dont remember the names of

haunted victorian house story - benji, aisha, elizabeth

updated onex arget (fantasy world i wrote about a lot when i was in elementary school) story - nai, rieae

idk this story never had a name and barely a plot beyond ivy and victor becoming friends and venting to each other - victor, ivy, miles, maitê

forks and spoons (story i improvised with my little cousin who was like 8 at the time lol) - florimundi(?), i’m forgetting literally all 3 of the other characters names lol (maybe reese and victor for two of them??? but maybe not bc those are also other very old characters that idk if i reused the names of)

theo and ted - theoni and theodore (aka theo and ted!), oh also that guy they meet who wears like. a trench coat iirc

super old (characters from the later half of the 6th grade and early 7th, like 12ish)

really dumb story about a closeted trans person with did getting transformation powers - i actually dont remember the main character and their main other alters names anymore, i remember the other character they had a crush on stephan though

all those characters in bands that i never actually could settle on a story for beyond a variety of interpersonal drama. very inspired by the webcomic jenny hanniver tbh - avery, mark, etti, adrian, xavier, pepper, uhhh theres literally So Many more of them and also so many i dont remember the names of anymore but just for some that come to mind. that periwinkle colored hair in a bowl cut character that always wore a beanie who was in avery’s band whos names on the tip of my tongue (maybe that was etti and the character i’m calling etti was called something else?? maybe victoria? maybe andy? maybe andy was an entirely different 3rd character?? idk. actually yeah i’m positive bowlcut character was etti rereading this), xaviers ex-boyfriend who was obsessed with homestuck (lmao), that guy with red hair i accidentally directly ripped off the design of some jenny hanniver character, that goth guy with braces and glasses (maybe he wasnt in this?), that screamo band with 2 lead singers, that guy with brown hair that said he was straight with an exception (msfdkjghhsfd god), that person with the emo haircut in flame colors, this literally is not even all the characters lol

extremely old (largely from 6th grade, like age 11ish. weird period of time where i suddenly wanted to write about romance but thought it had to be straight but then very quickly was like ‘wait actually nvm i have a laptop now and think i’m bicurious i’m only gonna write about gay people)

that tree prophecy story (maybe set in onex arget?) - nico, emi (?? maybe not her name), their uncle (i forget his name, maybe lester?), their uncles shipmates, that fortune teller

idk some kid that goes on a scavenger hunt to solve a mystery on vacation in like bermuda or something where he meets some quirky girl character who helps him. thats all

i had some characters that started out as me trying to draw characters from the book hoot by carl hiaasen but for some reason then turned into my own ocs and looked nothing like those characters were described and also basically had nothing to do with them in personality and action beyond name after a while. - beatrice and napoleon. this was in a phase where i got a ‘how to draw anime’ book and napoleon straight up looked like a yugioh character his hair was ridiculous

those fake siblings i made up and lied to a substitute teacher in kindergarten about me having 6 siblings because of for absolutely no reason even though i only have one sibling irl

imaginary friends i shared with my brother and then made stories about - theres so many of these, the most important though was chick-chick-chick. who was a very small chick who wore a top hat. and then he had a family(?) of infinitely smaller chicks (chick-chick-chick-chick, for example) the more “chicks” you added to the name

1. do you think friendship should be forever?

as long as it’s a healthy friendship and neither person feels like they’re being pressured to stay together, why not? i don’t think friendships should have to last forever, but they definitely can .. you know what i mean?

2. how do you feel about commitment?

oh boy .. i don’t know how i feel about being in a romantic relationship? i don’t think i could devote myself to one person in a way that’s supposed to be set apart from ‘regular’ friendships

it goes without saying, i wouldn’t date someone (if i was interested in dating lmao) who wasn’t open to polyamory, or someone’s who expecting to settle down as soon as possible. it wouldn’t be fair to either of us, really

when it comes to best friends, like .. i’ll cling to them for practically the rest of my life. but i’m just not interested in romantic love, i don’t know if it’s for me, and i don’t think i could seriously commit to something that’s (supposedly) different than and seperate from friendship-bordering-on-familial love

4. what’s the best present you’ve ever given?

!!!! my two irl friends and i have three magical girl oc’s! so a couple christmases ago, i drew fanart of those magical girls, and i printed it out on nice glossy photo paper and gave them each a copy .. they luved it

i love surprising people with gift art tbh!!

5. what’s the best present you’ve ever gotten?

oh gosh. so, so many .. i love just about every present i get. but this past easter, my mom bought me a magazine about the who! (uncut: the ultimate collectors edition) i didn’t expect it or ask for it .. i think i love surprise gifts more than anything else!

6. do you screenshot other people’s texts and send them to other people?

y ,, es .. i know it’s horrible and gossipy but fngfcndfghh sometimes there’s people i know irl who REALLY drive me nuts and i gotta vent to someone... i justify it by telling myself, if i were talkin about this person face-to-face, i’d probably repeat what they said in their text? so :(

(dw mutuals + irl friends i never ever share our convos. it’s just offline acquaintances)

7. do you have any tattoos? what are they?

not yet! i want to get a sand dollar on my upper back though .. maybe behind my right shoulder

.. i don’t have any. ;( i used to have two dogs but they’ve passed away! i practically grew up with them but yk .. they had a really good life. :( 12-13 years. these days i like to visit the no-kill shelter and hang out with the pups

i feel like i’m .. sorta-kinda more active on tumblr while also successfully (??) balancing college and it just. it feels good. i’m starting to feel better about stuff.
