Do people see Thirteen in the "younger" bracket or the "Older" one? I like to think that she's around the same age as Mammon/Levi, and her sister (Candy) around the same age as Lucifer

For what she has described in S4, I like to think her relationship with her sister Is similar to Lucifer-Mammon, but Thirteen Is much more selfish and Candy much more distant. I'm so curious about what Thirteen did to her that they don't talk anymore...

Diavolo

Diavolo tilted his head, watching you like a curious puppy. While he understood you wanted to reach his head, the prince had no idea why you wanted to pat his head. He was amused and a bit surprised at your boldness. The image of an adorable human patting the head of the future King of Devildom was something Diavolo didn't want anyone to see. But he didn't want to insult or push you away, so the prince laughed.

"You never cease to surprise me, (y/n)."

Diavolo rested his large hand on your head and affectionately tussled your hair.

Barbatos

Barbatos found it amusing and strange as most beings feared him or dared not to come close to him. Yet, here you were, hoping to affectionately pat his head. Though the situation was endearing, Barbatos had an image to uphold. He considered rejecting your action, but the thought of hurting you tugged at his heartstrings.

With a sigh, he looked around to ensure the two of you were alone and slightly crouched down. As you pat his head, Barbatos chuckled and pecked your forehead.

Solomon

Solomon was amused to see you getting on your toes and stretched your hand as far up as you could.

“My, (y/n). You are adorable.”

The sorcerer teased you harmlessly about your pocket-sized height. By the time he was done with you, you were either sulking or glaring at him. Solomon bent down to your height as a gift for putting up with his teasing. But as soon as you reached to pat his head, the sorcerer stood upright and laughed, teasing you again.

Simeon

It took him a minute to register what you were trying to do, but even then, the angel wasn't sure. He understood you wanted to reach something on his face or head but nothing more. So, Simeon bent down, watching your moves curiously. When you patted his head, he was surprised.

Simeon blushed lightly and smiled but didn't say anything. He found your actions cute, but his focus was on your innocent smile, which made his heart skip a beat.

Luke

Luke was around your height, so you didn't have to struggle to pat his head. When your hand met his head, the young angel looked at you with wide eyes. Had it been anyone else, Luke would have stepped away or swatted their hand away, as he didn't like it when adults treated him like a child. But the way you lovingly patted his head, the young angel smiled brightly and closed his eyes. He felt like he had done something good and was receiving his gift in the form of your head pats.

Thirteen

Were you trying to pat a grim reaper's head? She knew she was cute and all, but seriously? Thirteen laughed and lowered her head, allowing you to pat her colorful hair. Once you were done, she pinched your cheeks and showered you with compliments.

"You look so cute! I want to gobble you up."

Even when you protested her pinching your cheeks, Thirteen didn't stop and teased you.

"If you get to pat my head, I get to pinch your cheeks."

Raphael

Raphael had no idea why you were jumping up and down with your arm stretched upwards. He curiously stared at you for a while, but when the angel couldn't decode your actions, he asked what you were doing.

"I want to pat your head."

That was certainly a line he had never heard. Though he couldn't understand your reason, Raphael crouched down to your height so you could fulfill your wish. When you met his gaze, the angel gave you a soft smile. Your action was somehow endearing and comforting.

Mephistopheles

Was a human attempting to pat his head? Mephistopheles rolled his eyes and crossed his arms, watching your struggles with an unamused expression. That was not something anyone had dared to try with him. The demon wasn't sure how to react; on the one hand, he found it annoying but couldn't deny you look adorable. However, no matter how hard you struggled or how cute you looked, Mephistopheles would not allow you to pat his head. He was too much of a classy demon to allow a human to touch his perfect hair.

Lucifer

Lucifer stared at you unamused. At first, he thought about staring down at you with a glare, but your struggle to reach his head was endearing. His face softened, and there was no way he could be mean to you, especially since you wanted to show affection to him. Going against his prideful nature, he bent down to let you affectionately pat his head. Your bright smile was worth momentarily snuffing his pride.

“Do not get used to this, (y/n).”

Mammon

Mammon was confused when he saw you hopping up and down like a bunny. He was in a playful mood, so when you jumped up, Mammon jumped with you.

"Mammon, lower your head!"

"Why didn't ya just say so?"

The demon blinked rapidly when you affectionately patted his head. His cheeks instantly turned red, and he covered his mouth, averting his eyes from you. How was he supposed to resist you when you were being so damn cute?

Levi

As soon as you stretched your hand up and jumped once, Levi knew what you were trying to do. He immediately stepped away and looked away, embarrassed.

"Do I look like a child to you?" He stuttered.

But then he saw your sad face, and Levi lowered his head. When you patted his head, his face and ears heated up. Though he didn't want to admit it, your small, affectionate action caused an earthquake in his heart.

Satan

He felt the need to remind you that he was a demon, not a puppy or child that needed pats. But the longer Satan thought of it, the more he realized you only wanted to show him your affection. Sighing, he lowered his body.

His muscles stiffened, and his face hardened. Why did he like this action? It didn't take long for Satan's cheeks to glow red. Though he remained silent, it was apparent he enjoyed your touch.

Asmo

Knowing what you wanted to do, Asmo watched you with a warm smile. Your cuteness and charm were on another level, and he couldn't get enough of it. He brought his face to your level and laughed softly as you patted his head. Once you were done, Asmo reciprocated your action by patting your head.

"You are adorable, (y/n)."

Beel

Beel raised his eyebrows and tilted his head slightly. His eyes followed you as you jumped up and down. What were you trying to do? The Avatar of Gluttony thought you looked adorable and smiled softly. He placed his hands on the curves of your waist and effortlessly lifted you up.

Beel was surprised when you patted his hair, but he chuckled and let you pat him as much as you wanted.

Belphie

Belphie was used to receiving affection and enjoyed every moment of it. So, as soon as you grinned and extended your hand up to his head, the Avatar of Sloth slowly lowered his head. He chuckled slightly as your hand patted his head. When you stopped patting his head, Belphie shook his head and placed your hand on his head again.

"Don't stop."

a/n: first time posting my writing ever… i hope it’s alright! i don’t think there’s an official reason for why law dislikes bread, but i like the headcanon that it’s because corazón doesn’t like it either :))

“so, is it like, a yeast thing?”

law rolls his eyes, face painted with his typical scowl. as cool, mysterious, and annoyed as ever. he crosses his arms, leaning back against the mast.

“no, __-ya.” he utters. you nod sagely, like you’re studying the guy under a microscope, and don’t seem deterred by his attitude in the slightest.

“then… is it a texture issue? ‘cause i totally understand that, i really don’t like-“

“i’m finding it difficult to understand why you want to know so badly.” law wishes that his intentionally curt answers would make you stop pestering him, would make his heart stop skipping beats every time you tried to pry open his hard outer shell. ‘mind over matter’ works well in every other aspect of how he presents himself, but the blood rushing to his face refuses to cooperate with him. great.

“i just wanna understand you,” you reply earnestly, “and what goes on in that pretty head of yours, is all. ya know?” for a split second, law is afraid that his heart has failed, if the free-falling drop in his chest is anything to go by. how could you say something like that so easily? right to his face, like you were talking about something as simple as the weather?

he tries to carefully pick his words, running through dozens of possibilities in his head, brain scrambling to say something, anything that’ll get you to leave him alone to wallow in his thoughts (…you think he’s pretty?) you wouldn’t really leave him alone if you left though, would you?

instead, he chooses to ignore you. head tilting down, one of his crossed arms coming up to tug the bill of his hat further down his face, shoulders slightly scrunching in. he feels like everything his body is doing is absolutely, incredibly, extremely obvious to you. his palms sweat uncomfortably and he’s so goddamn aware of your presence next to him, it’s driving him up the wall. he wishes he wasn’t so awkward, so scarred by all the loss in his life.

you don’t say anything, just turn your body and lean back against the mast with him. he briefly thinks his stonewalling worked.

“that’s okay.” you utter. there’s no rejection anxiety, no hurt in your voice. law’s shoulders and hidden scowl don’t relax, but he huffs out a hushed sigh. he stays quiet otherwise and waits a long minute before chancing a glance at you.

you’re leaned back against the mast, body language lax and open, although your arms are loosely crossed. your eyes are closed, skin sun-kissed. gentle sea breeze brushing across your clothes. you look warm, he thinks. he wishes you would reach out and touch him, but he also doesn’t 100% know if he’d like it. maybe he would.

law hates taking risks. he needs everything carefully planned out in his head before he makes a move, especially with the fruits of a thirteen year long effort coming to fruition in the next few days. he’s prepared to die kicking and screaming, fighting tooth and nail. he can’t fuck a single facet of his plan up.

then again, he’s dealing with the straw hat pirates here. a crew known for miracles. law steels his resolve and takes a calculated breath.

“someone i cared about a great deal didn’t like bread.”

the way you grin at him makes risking the olive branch worth it.

Random headcanon I came up with early this morning, because I’ve been thinking about Gallifreyan language recently:

The reason why so many Time Lord things are decorated with circular Gallifreyan, often too impractically to actually be read (eg. on the Moment), is because it’s a cultural touchstone that remains from pre-/early-Pythian Gallifrey’s use of magical runes and sigils.

Presumably it was more typically Old High Gallifreyan used in that time (though The Timeless Children does seemingly confirm circular Gallifreyan existed at least as far back as Rassilon's time, if not earlier), however. Twelve describes it as ‘the language of the Pythia’ in The Lost Magic, and as Eleven says in The Time of Angels:

ELEVEN: There were days, there were many days, these words could burn stars and raise up empires, and topple gods.

This is obviously very reminescent of the Carrionites' (themselves from the Dark Times too) "word-based science" from The Shakespeare Code:

MARTHA: What did you do? TEN: I named her. The power of a name. That's old magic. MARTHA: But there's no such thing as magic. TEN: Well, it's just a different sort of science. You lot, you chose mathematics. Given the right string of numbers, the right equation, you can split the atom. Carrionites use words instead.

In other words, while they probably weren't actually intended as such and may have their own specific meaning, whether they be poetry, namesakes, histories, instructions, whatever... these are basically protective wards:

As a side note - if they actually are kind-of intended as a form of protection, perhaps this is why we were only introduced to Circular Gallifreyan in New Who, despite it seemingly existing through Gallifreyan history. Because it was retroactively inserted into Gallifreyan culture as a form of defense during the War in Heaven / Last Great Time War?

Regardless, this also opens up questions how many other Time Lord traditions are holdovers from the Dark Times.

For example, who's to say that the renegade naming tradition didn't begin as a form of protection from hexes - either from hostile forces in the pre-anchoring universe, or from oppressive magic-users back on the homeworld? This may also be connected to the change in Gallifreyan name format before and after the Intuitive Revelation (eg. ancestral -sti and -sor names), though shifting power structures, gender roles etc. presumably played a role too.

Heck, is this one reason why Gallifrey's own name has changed over its history? From Jewel to Gallifrey in Rassilon's time to try and protect it from vengeful Pythian curses. From Gallifrey to just 'the Homeworld' in the War to protect it from new rituals of alternative histories and paradox?

Yes, of course! I took a little break from posting on the internet so that's why it took so long for me to respond. Also thank you! I try to write as well as I can. (●'◡'●) Some side characters are gonna be missing from this cuz I'm not quite comfortable writing for them yet.

I haven't met Raphael, Mephistopheles or Thirteen(I am planning on making their own parts when I do tho!) in anything other than events. So I'd like to apologize in advance because if I remember correctly one of your favs is Mephisto o(TヘTo) (I hope this doesn't sound weird since we've only met briefly on the discord server /gen)

Diavolo

I don't think he'd have much of a reaction seeing as most people/demons are a lot shorter than him

This man is easily 7ft I don't think he gives a fuck, everyone is puny to him

He'd definitely say something by accident, something he doesn't think would bother you

He's a himbo and oblivious to this shit

He'd probably say some shit like

"You're quite small for a human" or something like that

Crouches/Bends down to talk to you sometimes

Only when he really feels like it

I swear he's not trying to be rude

He'll pick you up only if you ask

For any reason too, he adores his small human

He respects you and doesn't want to help you like that unless you want him to

If he sees you struggling to grab something he'll get it for you

Gently reminds you that he can help you and you don't need to struggle with these things while he's there

Worries about other demons taking advantage of your small stature and hurting you

So he checks in on your wellbeing more often than he would if you were taller

If he knows you're around, he's making sure he doesn't accidentally run over you

I'm so sorry! to be fair he's probably gotta do that with bitches 5'7 and below

He'd probably enjoy holding/hugging you too

Like you ask for cuddles this man is cradling you in his arm

Maybe even rocking your ass to sleep

Barbatos

Man has nothing to say about your height

Like he couldn't care less about it and has the foresight to not say shit if you're a little insecure

Not that he would even if you weren't

If he sees you struggling to get something off a higher place, he's helping even if you don't ask/don't want him to

That's just kinda how he is

If you request he stop that he will but you need to communicate your wants and needs

If he sees you getting bullied(/lh) for your height and you look distressed he'll give to culprit a bit of a scolding

Depending on how bad it/Who it was it'll be harsher

Of course he'd like for you to defend yourself at least a little bit

When you do he can't help but smile a little to himself.

He likes to serve the ones he cares for so if any difficulties arise due to your height he'd be happy to attend to them

That is to say its only if you ask/he has the time to

He is still the butler of the future ruler of the Devildom after all

Barbatos also wouldn't treat you any different than how he would treat some one of average height or taller

Solomon

He makes the occasional comment about your height to your face

Giggles about it in private on occasion LIKE A BITCH

It's only occasionally that he does this tho

Overall its not that big of a deal to him

He's been alive long enough that he doesn't really care

Will absolutely help you with things your height hinders you from doing

If you're being bullied about your height he'll give you a chance to defend yourself before jumping to your defense

Will pick you up and carry you sometimes just for shits and giggles

Other times he picks you up and carries you away to hang out or aid him in another one of his magical endeavors.

He's not doing anything to talk to you on your level Slay, king Solomon. Slay

He thinks its mildly entertaining to watch you struggle to grab something off the top shelf/anything out of your reach

He's a bit more careful with you than he normally would be with others

He enjoys watching you stand up for yourself despite your height

It can be intimidating when people who are much taller than you pick on you and he understands that

or maybe you're not intimidated in the slightest and just wanted to unleash a can of whoop ass on some assholes who've been picking on you Period. Slay honestly.

He understands that too, and enjoys watching it go down

He finds it satisfying

Simeon

Won't comment on it most of the time but he does think its really cute

Only makes a comment when he's asking if you need help getting something higher up than you can reach

and its normally something like

"Oh! MC did you need help? It looks like you can't quite reach that."

A bit more careful with you than he would be normally

Though he's gentle by nature most of the time Sadistic Simeon has me in a chokehold fr fr

He won't get down to your level or do anything to demean you

not intentionally anyway

He doesn't say anything about your height for the most part but he will slip up every once in a while

It's nothing bad he just lets it slip he thinks your height is cute

He encourages you to stand up for yourself but has no problem sticking up for you or stealing you away if you're being bullied too much.

Happy to help with anything your height makes difficult when you ask

Other than that he doesn't treat you any differently due to your height

Luke

He's just happy he's not the only short one here.

If you're shorter than him he doesn't comment on it but he is excited to not be the shortest there.

He would make a few comments about it but you just gotta tell him to stop and he will

He doesn't want to make you upset with him

Sweet baby just wants to bond with you over the others making fun of your heights

Doesn't hesitate to yell at anyone making fun of your height and calling you names because of it

Makes sure you're okay afterwards

He's getting made fun of for this though

The brothers would take to calling him your guard dog

He barely gives you a chance to defend yourself but will back up if you defend yourself before he can

He borderline clings to you like a sloth

Comes to you every time he needs to vent about everyone bullying him for his own height

IDK how much of this to consider spoilers for Trolls Band Together, so I'm doing all of it!

♠️ - ♣️ - ♥️ - ♦️ SPOILERS FOR BAND TOGETHER ♠️ - ♣️ - ♥️ - ♦️

Y'know, Branch's purple haired brother who's my favorite of his brothers for a few different reasons that I'm about to spew onto Tumblr at an unreasonable hour?

Okay so, Bruce is my favorite, and I think it's bullshit that the wiki calls him Spruce despite that not being his name anymore.

Trans headcanon? Maybe. Anyways!

I love how Bruce is written for many different reasons, I also love how he's handled when it comes to his body type.

1 minute before going on stage, JD says he expects 100 more crunches before show-time, which is insane considering Bruce (I know that's not his name at this point, but that is what we're calling him) has already done over 500, and 100 crunches in 60 seconds? I don't think that's even possible.

Ofc this is who JD is as a character, BUT THIS POST ISN'T ABOUT HIM, he's just a walking ick.

I can't imagine this kind of treatment, which is implied to have gone on for quite some time...

...would give anybody a positive view of their body. I'm not going to add things on to make JD a worse person, even if I don't like him, but from what bits and pieces we do see, he puts more emphasis on Bruce's physical body than any of his other brothers.

For his other brothers, it's more about their clothing and personality presentation. Bruce? The emphasis was his body, abs specifically.

It's not like he wasn't proud of them, but I feel as if they were another thing that still connected him to JD. All the brothers changed things about themselves that JD put emphasis on (Except Floyd, ig?).

But I'm straying away from the point I was trying to get to.

By the time we see Bruce again, he's lost the abs and put on some weight. However, this is not treated as a bad thing. Which I absolutely adore.

He's still perceived as attractive!! No jokes about "letting himself go" or even any jokes about putting on weight because he got married or whatever.

He's not muscular anymore, he's more laid-back and lives on VACATION ISLAND FOR FUCKS SAKE! He doesn't appear to have such a rigorous work-out routine anymore... Except his kids. I'd say having children 3 times your size would be intense.

Speaking of his children...

THIS MAN HAD THIRTEEN CHILDREN??? My man, why

But I digress.

Also, not only is him being plus-size not treated as a joke or a negative thing, but

HE STAYS THAT WAY!

Genuinely he makes me so happy, you guys have no idea. I love him.

Anyways, some smaller tid bits that I love about Bruce~

THIS MAN'S HAIR <3 <3 <3 <3 I will explode. ALSO THOSE BANGS AAAA

Him and his wife ughhhh <3 They're so goddamn cute.

Ramdom headcanons

•JD knows how to sew and has been mending his clothes for years.

•King Trollex sent the technos who had lost something or someone to Trollstopia so they could forgive and get over what happened on the world tour.

•trollex decided to have synth as their delegate because they knew that his relaxed and friendly attitude would make things more bearable for the techno who came to trollstopia.

•Clay knows how to fight well, although he acts a little clumsy when necessary, he defends himself.

•Clay didn't agree with viva so much about the outside and her rule of not letting anyone out, but he understands why and knows that the rules were made for a reason.

•The first time Trollex met Synth he was a little scared since he wasn't as friendly as he is now (but eventually they became very good friends).

•Dj suki knows that everyone makes mistakes but he is still afraid of disappointing his friends

•Villa Pop initially avoided branch because they feared that the same thing would happen to them with the passage of time. They realized that this was not the case but they still rejected it.

•Bruce believes that the most complicated thing about having thirteen children is finding a name for each one (they ran out of ideas a little quickly)

•the funks may be the most advanced in some ways but they still curl up when they sleep

•r&b are so connected that sometimes they share dreams, they have investigated it a little but there is not much they can do yet

•rock trolls are spiteful by nature

•synth seeks to have fun to ignore his problems or worries

i know it's been said before but man I'm still pissed over the fact that the scar live action zuko has looks nothing like the original.

like. ozai put his hand over his thirteen-year-old son's face, lit his hand ablaze and HELD IT THERE. on a stage in front of SO MANY PEOPLE. where NO ONE helped him. do you know how horrifying that is? how cruel you have to be do to something like that?

his ear is burnt, he doesn't have an eyebrow, his eye is in a permanent slit, I'm surprised his eye was able to be salvaged. there's a reason why people 'headcanon' him as half blind and half deaf. it would be at least a third-degree burn considering it was directly to his FACE.

so how dare it look less like the horrific injury it is and instead look like a black eye? why was that even the case? to make it prettier? all it does is minimise the damage ozai's actions had on his son.

honestly what frustrates me is that this is going to be a lot of people's first time watching anything avatar: the last airbender related. it's going to be some peoples only exposure to avatar: the last airbender, as a lot of people would never bother watching anything animated for a multitude of (very stupid) reasons. it's just, honestly, really upsetting to me and i am never going to be happy about it.

DISCLAIMER: throughout this post, i am referring to the character of vessel, not the actual, real-life performer.

@melit0n recently made a post pointing out that in the first verse of euclid, vessel begins singing thirteen seconds in asking for "five whole minutes" and proceeds to sing for five whole minutes, as well as the fact that the songs begins and ends on the same chord, thus creating a perfect symmetry. i'd like to add on to this: now i think we all immediately understood and recognized the callbacks to the night does not belong to god (especially considering that the end of euclid acts as a reprise to it in many ways)

but we know all of that already. euclid isn't just a testament to vessel's acceptance of what is world now consists of, it's a eulogy for the life he once lived, and above it, the person he once was. which brings me to this: what if vessel's (the character, not the performer) name was euclid?

so let's backtrack. where does the term and name "euclid" come from? most famously, it's associated with the ancient greek mathematician known as being the father of geometry.

now, the obvious connection between the song's title and the mathematician would be through the idea of perfect symmetry and geometry--the song makes direct callbacks to both sundowning (aka the start of the trilogy) and one (aka the 'prologue' of sorts) thus creating a perfect symmetry between the bookends. the song even references symmetry:

(that's not even considering the newfound meaning of "the night" between the night does not belong to god and euclid, but maybe that's a post for another day.)

but suspend your disbelief for a second and consider the slightly out of the box interpretation: symmetry doesn't necessarily always mean the story ends the same way it begins, but rather that the phrases, images, and motifs we were introduced to in the beginning now take on a different meaning because of the journey. vessel is introduced to the listener at the beginning of the story as sleep's vessel, and not much more. we know very little about the character's life beforehand--the life he lived, his work, his name, etc. and at the very end, his identity becomes acting as sleep's vessel. so, in the spirit of symmetry, why not call back to the one thing we don't know about the character?

the idea that your name decides your destiny is far from abstract, it's something that exists in a myriad of cultures. to be named "glorious" and "renowned" and then proceed to spend the rest of your existence acting as an ancient deity's mouthpiece is so ironically cruel it's almost perfect.

sure, "euclid" as a name is a little strange and out of the box, but has sleep token ever been afraid of doing something a little strange? again, this is just a little headcanon that i've been brewing for a while, not necessarily the sole reason where the song gets its title.

That's why when she heard the front door open, she was sure it was a new guest, but it was you. A thirteen-year-old girl who looked around uncertainly. Charlie was surprised when she saw you, but still came up to you and asked what you wanted to find out what exactly you want. She was even more surprised when you politely asked for a room for an indefinite period of time

Charlie gave you a room. She was as friendly as possible towards you, but pretty quickly she noticed that you seemed to be waiting for an attack. Every time someone called your name or touched you, you flinched, as if afraid that someone would hit you or say something unpleasant. She quickly realized that you were facing violence and that you needed the care and love that Charlie was ready to give you

Only when you began to trust her enough did you tell her that when you were alive, your life was more like survival. Your parents were violent people and you were often physically and psychologically abused. In the end, your life ended early and you ended it with your own hands, unable to bear such a life anymore. Charlie was shocked by your story. This once again convinced her that you needed care to make such terrible memories fade into the background

She understood that it was hard for you to trust people again, but she wanted to help you. She sincerely wanted at least in Hell to have more positive emotions in your life. She sincerely wanted you to feel safe in her hotel and be able to call this place your home

❌️ Vaggie x fem!Reader 🎀

Vaggie knew there were a lot of bad people in Hell, but there were also those who didn't deserve to be there. When she saw you, she immediately realized that you belonged to the second type. You were just a quiet and polite girl of about thirteen. You asked for a number for an indefinite period and Vaggie gave it to you. You didn't look like someone who scoffed at their idea. You looked like a person who needed shelter

Vaggie was looking out for you. She often noticed that you seemed to be expecting an attack. Even if someone just called you by name, you shrank, as if in fright. This bothered Vaggie. She understood that the reason for this was most likely that you were being abused and she wanted to help you. Every time she saw you scared, she saw herself at a young age, at an age when she couldn't protect herself yet

Vaggie tried to support you and offered to teach you how to defend yourself. You agreed to her proposal. She taught you to physically fight back against ill-wishers. With every day that you spent together, you began to trust her more and more. She became the only one to whom you told about everything you went through and how you ended your suffering with your own hands. Vaggie didn't blame you for this, realizing that not everyone could mentally withstand such a thing

Vaggie took care of you and did not let you offend when you yourself did not find the strength to respond to the offender. She understood that it was hard for you in Hell, so she sincerely wanted to help you, even if her help would be to help you learn how to fight back against those who would at least try to cause you any harm

🕷 Angel Dust x fem!Reader 💖

You met Angel at the hotel. He was watching from the stairs when you came to the hotel and asked Charlie for a room for an indefinite period. Angel watched as the Princess of Hell took you to the room where you were going to live. You looked at him with uncertainty when Charlie introduced you, but his gaze did not hide the fact that you flinched when she called you by name

At first you didn't communicate, but Angel really often noticed that you behaved as if you could be attacked at any moment. You flinched at every touch and mention of your name. Angel quickly realized that you were a victim of violence. His theory was confirmed when you brought it up. It was easier for you to tell a stranger about this, but your conversation brought you much closer

You reminded Angel of his sister. You were nice and polite and you should have lived a good and long life, but it didn't happen, because you ended your life pretty early. He understood that it was hard for you to live a full life even in Hell because of the violence you experienced, so he decided to help you. He had a lot of problems himself, but he was still going to help you learn not to be afraid and live a full life

He often began to take you with him and even introduced you to Cherry. He took care of you like an older brother. He wasn't very responsible, but he knew how to take care of you, he knew how to cheer you up with his jokes. He may not have been the most responsible named big brother, but he sincerely wanted to help you and take care of you

📻 Alastor x fem!Reader 🎙

Even when Alastor was alive, he did not like people who caused harm to others using their strength, but when they met a stronger opponent, they immediately lost their fighting spirit. When Alastor saw you at the hotel, you seemed like a lost child to him. Charlie gave you a hotel room and asked Alastor not to scare you, but he didn't plan to do that. On the contrary, he was quite friendly towards you

He often talked to you, wanting to get rid of boredom. Every time he called your name or violated your personal space, you flinched, as if expecting to be attacked. It surprised him, but it made him think that you had been abused either before your death or in Hell. He thought about it, but he was able to confirm his theory only when you personally told him about it

You told him about how your guardian took out anger on you, subjecting you to physical and psychological violence, but every time in public your guardian portrayed as a decent person. You couldn't stand it, ending your own life. Alastor understood that it was impossible to change the past, but he was going to help you move on confidently

Alastor has taken you under his wing, looking out for you and helping you become more confident. No one would dare to even try to harm you because Alastor would not tolerate such a thing. He hoped you'd be able to smile more often. He was hoping that you would have a lot more reasons to smile

🃏 Husk x fem!Reader 🥃

When you came to the hotel Husk was standing at the bar and calmly watching what was happening. He was surprised to see a thirteen-year-old girl and even more surprised when he found out that you would be staying in a hotel, but he didn't show it. He watched in silence as Charlie arranged for you a small tour of the hotel so that you could get used to your temporary home faster

Quite often he began to see you at the bar. At first he assumed that you wanted to drink alcohol in secret from Charlie and Vaggie, but you never even tried to do it. It was like you were more comfortable being there. He noticed that every time someone called your name or touched you, you flinched, as if expecting a blow. You hid behind his bar a few times. You didn't bother him and he didn't send you away, but even he was curious why you spent so much time there

In the evening, when you were alone in the hall, he asked you about why you spend so much time near his bar. It was then that you told him that when you were alive, you were often subjected to abuse, both physically and psychologically. The only place where you felt safe was the bar, which was located on the ground floor of the building where there was an apartment where you lived. The bartender always let you hide there, seeing the bruises on your hands. But the kindness of a single person could not save you. That's why you unconsciously treated Husk with more trust than the others

Husk did not openly treat you differently. He kept being rude, but he wasn't going to let anyone hurt you. He wasn't the person who once looked after you, but you needed support and Husk was ready to give it to you, although he wasn't going to admit it openly

Can we talk about Solomon...? Tbh in the OG obey me game i never found him interesting, that is until Nightbringer came out. He feels much more fleshed out here, and i think it's cute that both Solomon and MC share a living space together as if they're married.

I also find it very interesting that Solomon is based on the REAL King Solomon of Israel. There's so much lore surrounding him, and i find it kinda sad that the devs don't use it to their full potential to the plot. Of course, they make references here and there, plus his pacts with Barbatos and asmodeus, but i feel like they could do much more?

Can we talk about how biblical lore, King Solomon, also had (foreign) 700 wives and 300 concubines, and his greatest sin was in building temples for the gods that his wives worshipped Young Solomon is a playboy xD even though i'm sure he married all of those women for power, so it's more likely not out of love but more political expediency? and apparently, "his wives turned his heart after other gods” (Kings 11:4), and thus, he built shrines to the gods of their religions. In the biblical account of his reign, God tells Solomon he will punish him for his apostasy by breaking up his kingdom after his death. Seeing how Solomon is still alive in the Obey me universe, that would mean he had to witness his kingdom being split into two kingdoms (The people revolted against heavy taxes levied by Solomon and his son, Rehoboam). He also probably had to watch many people he truly cared about pass away. (Do you remember that one Gif in the OG Obey me that he was crying in front of a grave??)

BUT, as I mentioned before, since he had many wives, naturally, he had children as well. The documented children of his were Rehoboam, Menelik I, Taphath, and Basemath.

So maybe the reason why the devs didn't mention this might be because fans might get jealous? Seeing how many were upset when Thirteen (the first female character) was announced because they were threatened that she might be stealing the boys, I can see why they didn't include that information.

It does seem like more people are enjoying Solomon since Nightbringer! In fact, the fic I wrote about Solomon shortly after NB came out was the first time one of my fics really took off - it got so many notes in the first day or so and I was so confused lol.

Anyway, I personally started to really enjoy Solomon's character in season three of the OG, but they definitely made him more prominent in NB! And of course I loved that he and MC were living together... it was so cute, nearly all my Solomon centered fics after that are about them in Cocytus Hall.

As for the Biblical lore, I can guarantee you it had everything to do with not wanting any of the love interests to have had any wives in their past. Of course, they don't explicitly say as much, so I think you could headcanon that Solomon still had all his 700 wives and 300 concubines.

I also think they don't go too heavy on the Biblical stuff for the reason of not wanting to offend people who actually believe in this as a religion. I think there's probably only so much you can really use if you want it to stay somewhat neutral in that regard.

By only loosely basing Solomon on the real King Solomon, they give themselves the space to do whatever they want with his character. They're not as bound by the source material. So they only pick and choose the parts they want to include.

I think they do this for the entire story, honestly, not just Solomon. For instance, who is Diavolo even supposed to be? I always thought he was supposed to be kind of a stand in for "the Devil" you know?

But anyway, I digress.

I think they kind of completely rewrote Solomon's past. Considering how he was said to be locked up in a basement as a child, after which he was brought to the Fountain of Knowledge by Barbatos... so when was he actually King? Perhaps after that? And maybe it was then that he would have had all the wives and such?

I definitely remember that particular gif... I made everybody upset when I suggested that it was MC's grave he was crying at lol. Sorry, guys.

But it could just as easily be a wife he actually loved or one of his sons. (Though how is it he only has four sons when he has 700 wives and 300 concubines?? I don't know anything about Bible stuff lol perhaps these are just the ones with names??)

Anyway, I'm fairly certain that people wouldn't like him to have all those wives and concubines. Maybe one wife could be handled, you know, because she'd obviously have been dead for a long time. But I dunno. People get jealous over the idea that Solomon was Lilith's lover, too. So probably best for the game if they just don't go there at all lol.

I do think it would be interesting if they introduced another demon that he happens to have a pact with. We never see any of the others, but I suppose that's more about a lack of space... it's not like they can add 70 characters... in fact, I take it back I am glad they've kept it to the two we have, no more are needed, thanks!

He very much enjoys your cooking, and will compliment you subtly.

He's particularly fond of the times you'll come into his private study and sit by the fireplace while you tell him all sorts of stories.

MAMMON ;; THE SCUMMY SECOND-BORN

Oh, Mammon is all for it. He's asking you for recipes, stories, and recommending you sell both throughout the Devildom.

He's listening intently, and getting excited anytime you bring something about your culture up during conversation.

Although, if you bring it up, his face will immediately turn beet-red and he'll say something along the lines of:

I actually cannot see Leviathan being too concerned with it at first. He'd probably be more concerned with watching anime with you, reading manga with you, or playing games with you to really care about your ethnicity.

He'd more than likely start to point out characters in separate animes or games that share the same ethnicity as you.

If you were to make different Filipino meals for him, he would be absolutely over the moon. If you bring him the food, make sure you bring tissues with you.

He'd listen to your stories, occasionally making references to TSL, Ruri-Chan, or others, if possible.

All in all, He wouldn't really care at first, but he would become more interested the more time passed.

SATAN ;; THE CYNICAL FOURTH BORN

Knowing Satan, he'd probably already know a lot. And he'd hold it over Lucifer's head that he knows more about your ethnicity than he does

Besides that, he's perfectly willing to listen to your stories, even if he knows them already.

He's particularly fond of your cooking, and he will tell you that. He might point out subtle things that he'd change, but he doesn't really care if you take his advice or not. After all, he's not a chef.

If he finds any sorts of books that have to do with your ethnicity, he'd bring them to you and let you read them, after he reads them first though.

Asmo just thinks it's so cute! Especially when you're cooking, or telling him stories.

He loves listening to your stories while he does your makeup, or his own.

Even during his 26-step skincare routine, he's probably having you come to his room so he can listen to your stories.

Marry him. On the spot. Beel absolutely loves Human-World food, and the fact that you're willing to make it for him? Oh, he's in love.

You may have to shove him out of the kitchen because otherwise, he'll eat all of the ingredients before you can even put them together.

If he manages to stay put and not eat any of the ingredients, he's watching you cook albeit while drooling.

Usually I aim to keep my autistic Thirteen headcanons about 85-90% based on things I've seen in canon and as close to realistic as possible. However right now I am in the trenches a little bit, so today's autistic Thirteen headcanon is brought to you by a combination of canon observation, guilty pleasure/wishful thinking, and yeah, a bit of projecting.

Autistic Thirteen & hypermobility

So. I think I established in another post that autism & hypermobility are highly correlated (current estimate is that up to 80% of autistic people experience some type of hypermobility, I believe?), so in the hypothetical of Thirteen being autistic, there's a pretty good chance she'd be hypermobile as well. Hypermobility has a whole range of different ways it affects the body, one of which is decreased internal stability (basically feeling like your body isn't supported enough when you're just standing on your own). As an autistic person with (extremely probable) hypermobility, I've dealt with this my whole life, and there are a whole host of creative ways to work around it and get the body some extra support. I actually see a decent amount of them from Thirteen in canon.

1. Leaning against a chair

This is THE biggest one for me, hands down, without a doubt. Like, literally that exact position. It makes my body feel stable more than any other position I've tried, it reduces soreness if my muscles are tight, and it's all around comfortable. 2. Slouching and bracing arms against the table for support (while sitting down)

Pretty similar to the first one. Slouching + getting support from the table via arms or elbows gives some extra support to the shoulders, and means your body doesn't have to do all the work of keeping them properly pulled back and in position.

3. Slouching & hugging yourself for support

This one kinda just feels nice because it's like you're simultaneously relaxing (not working or straining to keep shoulders back) and propping yourself up a little extra (arm around the torso in place of a chair or table to lean on).

4. Sitting in chairs weird

Being so real here, I sit in almost this exact position all the time and always have. Knees up, feet on the chair, legs and my side pressed against the arm and back of the chair, nestled into the corner. Optimum placement and position to get the most support from the chair possible. Also just super comfy and 10/10.

Could it just be bad posture or tiredness from some other reason? Is it more than likely that? Yeah. Absolutely. (Ex: Huntington's can cause muscle pain and aches, but I'm not sure yet if that's in the early stages as well as the later stages, or only in the later stages). But, do I resonate with it as a hypermobile afab autistic person, and enjoy seeing a little bit of myself that's been called weird/unusual so casually on TV? Also yeah. And, is it hurting anyone? Nope, not at all.

I'm gonna go take an epsom salt bath and remind myself a bajillion more times that it's okay to write things I want to write, it's okay to write guilty pleasure things, it's okay to see yourself in characters and appreciate it. Sometimes when I write these autistic Thirteen posts I feel "too autistic". But then I step back and think: who am I actually writing this for? The answer is me. And if you guys enjoy it too, then it's a great bonus and I'm glad. As my roommate and I say: writing things for yourself and like three other people on discord/tumblr/etc. is the best and most fun way to write.
