.......... That moment in a drama or movie where it's the morning after the first time the couple made love and character A rises up earlier before character B and so they just prop themselves up on their elbow, quietly admiring character B's sleeping pretty, serene and blush-dusted face, smiling to themselves and even proceeding to tuck a stray hair away or running a finger down their cheek/nose

there was this moment in ep 8 or 9 of business proposal where after min woo punches tae moo, hari is wanting to text him but she doesn’t because other people get in her head
it’s this feeling of feeling like other people can between you and the closest person to you, which doesn’t happen when you’re in a relationship
but it’s not a thing until you get to that stage
anyways it just made me think about how being in a new relationship kinda puts you in a vulnerable position and you just have to accept that you’re gonna have to put yourself out there in order to find that something special
and sometimes it might not work out but that doesn’t mean that it was a bad thing, it was great for the time it was meant to be great but it ran out of runway and now you’re kinda heading in different directions but it’s okay to still be in each other’s lives

featuring . . . ktm!ayato kamisato x fem!shr!reader (kang tae moo ayato kamisato x shin hari reader)
author’s note . . . not accurate to the actual series bc i wanted to do some twisty here n there
au . . . business proposal ! // crack is here too ☝️
oh how great, you’ve tangled yourself up in such a situation. first, you have to wear a slightly hot wig, and heavy makeup, just to cover your friend from going on a blind date, the place he planned for you and him to go to is just magnificent, but it could be too much for a first date, not to mention a blind date, but the main goal is to stop him from wanting to see yuri again. but it’s sad that you won’t get to do the ghost prank like last time.
“okay, i can do this, i can do this!” you push open the heavy doors of the restaurant, you see rich looking people, chattering and bickering over and away, not to mention foreigners that are probably from natlan of fontaine! you observe the large area, and search for a… sky-blue haired man, with a suit colored white, and a tie with a cerulean shade.
you glance around the area and see the guy your searching for, you can’t say my heart doesn’t flutter the first time you saw him. he is quite good looking. you head to the table, where he waited, “it took you a long time to get here, may i ask why?” he speaks, placing his lips on the edge of the teacup. side-eyeing you to answer, his stare is intimidating, "well.. how do you think i got all prepped up so nicely?" as you answer, his eyebrows furrow. “ah, right,”, you smirk and let out a small, and quiet chuckle. “well, you look nice.” he complimented you, with a stoic expression, you couldn’t read him if he was being sarcastic or what.
you sit down, “y’know, you kinda look like a archaeopteryx-“ just right after you said that- he lets out a harry style spit from his fresh, fresh tea. ‘woah, that was quick, he looked so much more like an archaeopteryx when he harry style spitted that tea.’ stifling a laugh, you smile, and look at your watch— “oops, it’s times up!”
(it wasn’t, actually.)

Just finished A Business Proposal and wow...it was exactly what I wanted. A no-brainer drama with prettiest softest people and no lame tropes (i.e. miscommunication, evil parents literally ruining lives, forced breakup etc etc). It was like a soothing massage to my brain.
However, one thing that didn't sit quite right with me is when people around Hari keep saying how did she end up with such a perfect guy likeeeee..... Kang Tae Moo is a decent guy who isn't really offering anything extraordinary apart from his wealth???? While Hari is out there being funny little ball of sunshine, smart and passionate career woman and gives everyone she meets unconditional love and support!!?? Hari is the one who is the catch here and Tae moo is the one who got lucky not the other way round!!! Women are really taken for granted by everyone around them I CANNOT stress it enough lmao
Aside from the end of the k-drama being a little TOO tied up in a bow, A Business Proposal was super fun and why I watch k-dramas!
If I wanted reality, I'd watch something else lol! (I will say I think Ahn Hyo Seop needs to improve his acting, but he's so beautiful he gets away with it!) I loved both couples and overall it was the brainless fluff I needed to get through March.
Regarding what you said anon:
"Women👏 are👏 really 👏taken 👏for👏 granted 👏by 👏everyone 👏around 👏them 👏I 👏CANNOT 👏stress 👏it 👏enough👏"
Well said!
K-dramas definitely sell the idea that families think being rich is more important than any other quality a human could have. Even if a women is dating someone at work, the parents in a k-drama will care about what their position is and if it's "equal" enough financially for the match to be a good one even if they are both not rich.
I wish I could say that that's an exaggeration but when I met my person, my mom was so upset that he made minimum wage that she actively tried to set me up on blind dates (sound familiar??) and really didn't except him until she had no choice (we eloped). #priorities :/
The good news is that it does seem that most of the time, the rich guy/girl doesn't care what the parents think. They themselves KNOW that money isn't the important value. Tae Moo knows he's not good enough for Ha Ri (sorry I said it!) and that his money barely competes with how incredible she is! Young Seo knows Sung Hoon is a keeper (before they reveal that he is actually a baller (a turn of events that kinda bugged me actually).
What I wanted them to figure out that they never did, was the imbalance at work which is like a MAJOR issue. There's really no way for her to have a regular work life while her peers know who she is marrying/dating. And he runs the company so it will always create a little discomfort that the show never really dealt with. Then again, it wasn't really that kind of drama...
What fluffy drama is next?? GIMME!

Series Recommendation when you don't know what to watch.
I’ve watched so many k-drama series but this recent ongoing K-drama series, “Business Proposal” hits different. I’ve picked it up because of Kim Sejeong. She has many kdrama series but this show is just, it’s really good. It is a wholesome Korean drama series.
The series is based on a webtoon. shin Hari goes on a blind date in place of her friend, Jin Young-seo, whose father had arranged it. Young-seo does not want to attend and asked shin Ha-ri to go instead with the goal of having shin Hari 'getting rejected' by her friend's blind date partner. However, the plans did not go as they planned it, when the blind date partner turns out to be Kang Tae-moo, the CEO of the company where shin Ha-ri works. Tae-moo decides to marry his blind date partner without knowing she is fake Jin Young-seo or that she is his employee, which she tries so hard to hide. But then kang tae moo fell in love with shin hari as time goes by. Young seo who is suppose to be end up with kang tae moo fell in love with his secretary Cha sung hoon who is now engaged in the recent episode.
Well, the series is not only about being in love with her employee, it is also about a strong bond of friendship. A friend ship we didn’t know that will exist. There are some scene that is a living meme in every episode.
This is a spoiler alert to those who aren’t watching the business proposal yet. Well, I got to say my favorite episode was episode 10 because of shin hari. She took kang tae moo on a date but then it rained, she knew that tae moo was afraid because when he was young his parents died in a car crash while raining. She took kang tae moo everywhere til’ the rains stop. She took care and understands kang tae moo situation. SHIN HARI BEST GIRL!!! But then at the very end of the episode, the grandfather of kang tae moo found out the true situation of them. That they are faking their relationship back then and then called shin hari to clarify things and kang do goo wants to end their what so-called relationship.
What I love about this show is that the episodes are long but fun to watch and it is a perfect binge-watch series on Netflix when you don’t know what to watch. You can really tell that this show targets teenagers that really want to watch a wholesome show. I’ve got to say that the cast really did good in portraying the characters in this webtoon book.
I am recommending this k-drama series to those people who don’t know what to watch yet. Watch it when it is not an ongoing series because you don’t want to be hung up waiting. The last episode will come out tomorrow I guess cause Netflix said April 5, I think in American date. You will enjoy this and you will not get over this series.
