Kh Worldbuilding headcanons: Destiny Islands Edition

No one ever talks about the original worlds in kh and i find that a travesty because these places are a really, REALLY good mine to play around with. (u can also use them or expand on them if you really like)

So im gonna share some HCs i have about the original kh worlds, starting with Destiny islands..... but before that some basics: also this is kinda long so under the read more it goes

In general:

Kh "worlds" arent really floating in space. the stylized icons we see in game are more akin to dimensional rifts rather than actual planets (seriously who thinks this is how the world looks fr)

Following on with the dimensional rift: as the "worlds" arent really pieces of the original world, they are something more akin as parallel dimensions or something along the lines of something like ff14 (mostly because i would rather die first than live in a world with 5 different versions of britain existing at the same time)

As much as dark road is cool, the explanation for the empty worlds is dumb and for the purposes of this exercise, instead ofthe worlds filling the people gradually after it is created, i consider that the worlds as they exist are the result of the surviving children of the war making their stories real in the fractured reality of the original world (it also follows the weird theme of reality/unreality that kh4 seems to go for) and it turning into a different version of earth as we know it, with some exceptions, such as monstropolis (which exists independently as a parallel land to earth in its canon) and Deep space (which is straight up NOT earth and was more like, the rift of lilo and stitch's world pointing at the high counselor's fleet BEFORE the actual movie started) and also the OG worlds who dont have something to be based on for reasons to be explained later.

the only world that exists in the ocean between as it is, is the Keyblade graveyard. because it was so majorly fucked up by the war it both shattered in the physical and dimensional way after it happened.

Now that that rant is out of the way, LETS GO TO THE MOST UNDERRATED WORLD IN THE SERIES:

Destiny islands is in fact, more than 2 islands, being a big archipelago with a bigger "main island" where our three protagonists live at. this one we have seen before in kh2

Destiny islands, is, by far, not the only chain of islands in the world. in fact, theres way more islands beyond the horizon.

We know the islands have a mayor, thus we know that they must have cordial diplomatic ties with different islands near them.

Due to FF characters existing here, i am very tempted to assure that some of the races from ff8 and ffX exist in this world (you are now imagining kimahri playing with a tiny kairi after diplomacy stuff with her dad just ended)

Due to DI being an original world, it is actually a shard of the original world that didnt really changed much compared to the other original ones. its major difference is that it is an ocean world like Wind waker hyrule or the Grand line from One piece

Magic is a real thing in the original worlds populace, you just really need to get good at it, learn it, be magical by default, or cheat and get a keyblade somehow

Religion in the og worlds strike me as something akin to the way people prayed to the aeons of yevon in ffx or the astrals of FF15. with people praying to the ff summons on a case by case basis and depending on their preference for patron gods. Ie: Leviathan being a goddess of the ocean and water who is prayed to by sailors or fishermen, while scholars prefer ifrit using an interpretation of the fire of knowledge. (you know. like a furry prometheus that doesnt get eaten by an eagle daily)

I'll probably go on more detail later, but for now, the summons that get prayed to the most in DI is probably Leviathan for the aforementioned reasons, Ramuh for nature and agriculture reasons, shiva for tradition and combat reasons (related to riku in my particular headcanon) And Titan for economical reasons, wow alex making the rock man into the economy guy i wonder where you have heard it before

Speaking of economy, DI currency totally has tiny paopu fruit symbols in its coins and bills, and its a legal course currency in its neighboring islands because they too dig the paopu fruit symbolism

Munny looks like malleable diamonds because it probably just morphs into the appropate currency depending on the world we're in, moogles only use them as they are because they are both the people doing synthing and also shady as hell. do not trust the pompom people.

Going back to the Paopu fruit: its quite a common tree fruit in the islands and in fact is industrially harvested in some islands both as an export and in-island use.

The paopu folk story is actually mostly just a misconception for an older tale. originally involving sailors and a promise to return home safe. it eventually turned into "sharing one will entwine your fates forever"

Paopu pastries are a common dessert, and paopu wine is used often in weddings.

Monsters ARE real in the islands and roam the most inhabited places. These are often hunt for game and for safety reasons

THAT MEANS, chocobos are also a thing people use in the most rural parts of the islands for fieldwork, transportation and sometimes food.

Blitzball is MAD popular and they Often do tournaments involving several islands. DI itself was almost a perpetual champion up until jecht retired, then they win every so often instead of always

Boating licenses are a thing, but kids can still use their little boats because they have to row them. think like, the difference between a bicicle and a motorbike.

There are bridges for tram systems between islands that are close to each other, usually reinforced for sea and storm reasons.

Legally speaking, equal marriage is a thing and even polyamorous ones because why being an ass about it.

Healthcare is mostly public, but there are Specialty care stuff in the main islands that costs money because of course it is

Because sora and riku are japanese names, i prefer the island to be something like a tropical japan, so most of the people in DI have japanese names.

come closer. you will see my vision

(a lot of this goes off of my old hcs from YEARS ago please bear with me)

underworld is at its smallest population since its founding. it used to be a much busier establishment so far as trade and scavenging went; several people owned pack brahmin (outside of course) and traveled to other settlements till the enclave and brotherhood got their footholds and pushed the ghouls back into the museum. since being stuck inside the population has slowly been dwindling even despite new people showing up (gob, snowflake, and crowley were the newest arrivals)

EXPANDING on that, barrows and carol were among 2 of the first to arrive to underworld. it was more of an area then of refugees with little structure or amenities until ahzrukhal showed up with a Host of followers. prior to arriving in dc, he had been involved in arms trade immediately following the great war and had amassed a following of a raider-like group. he was overthrown eventually and he and those loyal to him were forcibly ghoulified, after which point he stumbled upon underworld and started making it Comfortable.

there is a lot more to the structure of the settlement than is seen. i think a floor or two below the Concourse we can access in game there could be employee access halls, since reclaimed and openly accessible. theres employee showers down there and long abandoned lockers (no one really uses them and theres no locks but its a Place to stash things, no one really goes thru them)

FURTHERMORE theres a lot more beds and living areas thjan just what we get to see. beds and mattresses were recovered from nearby apartments using aforementioned pack brahmin

was thinking again of tulip knowing and teaching others ASL.... i think that likely most ghouls do know at least some! barrows was especially interested in learning and pushing tulip to teach others, he wonders if it could be a viable way to communicate with someone after they have become feral but he's not yet had a chance to test it (thank god.)

griffon has never actually been Into the underworld exhibit where everyone lives. he stays across the mall at his own place so he's never really had a Need to

WANT to give winthrop a glass eye.... when he was human it matched perfectly but now that he's ghoulified his eyes have changed color completely and its a bit jarring

most of the ghouls have never seen a super mutant, but they've heard of them. it was a Bit frightening when Fawkes showed up right outside but most everyone is cool with him now

AYO SELF CARE HOURSSSSSS. i do genuinely like talking about the controversial ships but thank you for the positive vibes anon! love that

under the cut, just because the post is a little long:

actually im not super into shipping i think? i definitely value being able to imagine a dynamic for even the nichest pairings and have a lot of fun stretching or emphasizing certain parts of each characters' personalities to get them to work the best while opening up the potential for some development on each characters' side (thats exactly why im doing the ship bingo! its a ton of fun!), but theres very few things i actually like. Ship beyond surface level thoughts tbh. and recently the things i actually do ship have gotten increasingly niche. so enjoy this ramble that mostly pertains to specifically me and only me LMAO /lh

metadede ofc is the big one. not niche obviously. extremely beloved by me hiiiiiiiiii. they just have so much to work with in canon it makes so many varied interpretations which are a blast to see honestly. in general i love seeing how people portray their friendship too. an idiot whos smart to smart guy whos an idiot communication. enemies to friends to lovers..... their personalities bounce off of each other really well and the content the community makes is always a+. actually im going to take the opportunity to share my favorite mtdd fic ever. this is like pretty much peak metadede to me if anyone wants to know what i hope my personal interpretation will live up to [link!]

people might be able to tell ive been getting very into dametaberge. oh my god im so insane. no one look at me. dmk+jambacult found family Real. i have like three comics in my drafts for them. its mostly dametaberge thoughts rn but i like to think susie joins them later to make a poly ship. dmk and susie are a little tense at first but susie is, "like so over her knight phase," as she says, which dmk is extremely conflicted about whether to be offended or relieved at. and then they learn how to relax around each other and are always the two in the relationship to have awful destructive ideas, which flamberge vetos or approves of on a case by case basis. they get very happy and excited when flamberge approves of their awful plans

and of course my beloved gsa ships.............. theres falsgato which i am incredibly insane about thanks to my friend dragging me into it and now its a thing in my animeverse. enemies to friends to lovers I KEEP SAYING IM SO WEAK FOR THAT. dragato was a huge asshole to falspar for Various reasons regarding the nature of the gsa and perhaps dragatos own personal insecurity, but once they lost the war they got to bond since dragato like, realized how little the shit he antagonized falspar for actually mattered in the first place. and falspars a guy who really sees the best in people and ahahahghdjk its a whole thing its a whole thing i wont go into it rn LOL

theres also metarthur which is my very very beloved longtime rarepair. which i um. uh. ahahahah............. i get very slightly nervous talking about on main because a lot of people hc arthur as meta knights dad or parental figure but i shouldnt be nervous about hc differences really....... anyways theyre supposed to be like parallels of each other. people who are opposites thematically (arthur being leader of the gsa; mk being a former deeply infamous demon beast) who find themselves in similar positions in that they both kinda struggle with their sense of purpose vs their sense of self. meta knight sees his past struggles in arthur and so he finds himself drawn to him. he cant really Solve his situation, but (during their war-time relationship specifically) he hopes to offer some solace to him which functions as a form of catharsis to mk himself too. the two get to connect and understand each other in a unique way. i wont get too into this one right now either lol since the dynamic changes a lot depending on if its their during-war relationship or post-war relationship but theres the basics. i have a comic expanding on their general relationship in my drafts too but its at the bottom of my to-do list tbh. maybe someday though

im only into this one casually nowadays but morphogala... you really cant go wrong with "knight of death saves the greatest warrior in the galaxy from their torturous fate". something something the themes of wishing for the release of death being subverted into yes, death itself releasing you but in a way that actually Saves and rescues you instead. the hope and love in spite of all of the hopelessness AHHHHGH the themes of this one make me so weak. theres so much potential...... i really love this one on an aesthetic level too

you know i take my comment on "not super into shipping" back i think my multishipper ass has disillusioned myself into thinking being insane about like 4-5 ships isnt enough or isnt the norm. maybe i am insane about shipping......... oops

ships that make my thumbs up list in that i like them in concept but dont ship myself would be: marxolor; any of wave 3 x each other tbh. i have them as just besties in my hcs but paired up in any way is very fun; i kinda like shadow metadede but im really particular about the dynamic of that one; fransoos gets a very big thumbs up from me for themes and concept+enemies/rivals to lovers; metagala is. i dont super get it myself but the aesthetics alone are absolutely on-point enough to put this one in the thumbs up category. yayyyyyyy. im sure theres more that im missing but i think that covers any that arent too niche

techno. he looks so young. so small. he is capable of so much but not right now because right now he is taking a break and a breath and he doesnt have to be The Blade hes just techno hes just wilburs little brother hes just existing. there is no facade rn theres a softness to him that he cant show usually bc softness is weakness and weakness is dangerous and there is a war to be fought and he is the key component of that war and he cant let it show how much that weighs on him so he relaxes with this self destructing behaviour that he probably knows isnt great for him but its something to do yknow? its something to blame everything on, if he has to. its something to take his mind off it all.

and wilbur. god his expression. hes looking at techno but he isnt smiling. techno seems content but wilbur isnt. hes looking at techno and techno isnt looking at him he doesnt know hes being watched. is wilbur going to school his expression into something else when techno looks back down at him? is he gonna say hes fine? bc he looks almost sad. this is his little brother that has been pulled into this shit he hasnt been here as long as wil has he probably doesnt know just how deep this runs. this is his little brother thats engaging in the same self destructive behaviour that he is except he seems content doing it its working for him he doesnt seem so troubled. wilburs chasing that peace and acceptance that he sees in techno and he sees in the innocence of youth and believing this will all get better (it wont wilbur knows it wont its only gotten worse). hes jealous. and hes sad. and maybe hes just a little bit happy, too, but guiltily so. this is his fault, what technos doing, but at least theyre spending time together and its peaceful and they dont have to think about war (they do, its all anyone can think about). wilbur gets to spend time with his brother but at what cost? hes pulling techno further down for his own selfish purposes and he knows hes not going to be around much longer but he hasnt told techno that because hes so young hes so happy hes his little brother.

god youre making me Have Thoughts. and like i said this is probably blue curtainsing the entire piece (finding meaning where there isnt necessarily anything; sometimes the curtains are just blue) but my god i will blue curtains anything i can get my hands on

1. What was your first OTP?

Sabrina and Puck from the Sisters Grimm series. Probably one if the first series I read and even then I just knew that they would come together.

2. What is your current OTP?

HUMONNNN (hugh everhart and simon westwood) They deserved so much more 😢😢 There isn't much of them on the books as a couple but all the head cannons have made me think they are the perfect couple and deserve the world. 😍😍😍

3. Do you have any OT3/OT+ ships? What are your favorites?

I do not have any romantic ones. If you count friendship i would say team sketch and the rampion crew. They were made to come together and be friends. ~found familyyyy~

4. What is/are your favorite trope(s)?

I love enemies to lovers. Like the whole time its just ¨get over yourself yall are in loveeeee¨ Its so cute. There also always a little ¨oh¨ and you know their whipped. I also like total opposites but same in a way coming together. Plus found familys. dont know if that counts as a trope but i like it.

5. What is/are your least favorite trope(s)?

Abusers to lovers. I don't understand it. I like enemies to lovers but when it gets physical I just cant. It's not right.

I dont really know, you kinda get the vibe. Like you can just see how they act toward each other.

Any type of abuse. Im a one strike and your out type person. Or when people just try and put two people together when it doesn't make any sense.

i dont interact with the community in the first place i am s c a r e d.

Humon, I didnt think of them much when i first read the book, but then i stumbled across some fan fiction and now i have been influenced heavily and i cannot go back.

15. Do you like/participate in ship wars? Why or why not?

I never have before.

16. Are there any ships you just can’t/don’t understand? What are they?

iko an kinney, they had one scene together, which they showed obvious hate, theres almost no fan stuff to persuade someone so i dont really get how people see it.

17. Are there any popular ships that you just don’t like? What are they?

Honey Harper and Ace or Leroy. I don't believe any of the anarchist were truly love with each other. (I believe Honey was attracted to Aces power but not much more.)

And hate me if u will I don't like Nobell or NovaxRuby. Ruby and Oscar are made for each other. Quite literally soulmates (in my opinion). So it feels weird to match them with other people.

As for Nobell, I just don't see it. One, I just kinda don't like cannon Danna. Head cannon Danna i would die for but thats off topic. Danna hates the anarchist, it shows multiple times throughout the book she believes the councils code is right. Nova doesn't. Plus Nova held her captive WITH THE ANARCHISTS and that has to be a bit traumatizing. They might mend their relationship but I don't think enough for them to be a couple (i see them as more of power badass besties / Brotp) Also I like Narcissa and Danna (for the same reason as oscarxruby). It would be a bit hard for them (again with the different views and all) but at least theirs no previous hate between them.

18. What is your favorite unpopular ship?

Mal and Evie from Decedants. "Sisterly Love" my ass they were in love and deep down we all know it.

19. Do you prefer fluff, angst, or smut for your ships?

All, im a little sensitive to strong emotions. Like i wont cry (usually) but if theres a cute scene, the either fluffy or angsty feeling will stick with me all day. As for smut, i like it but it doesnt stick with me after reading it.

20. Do you prefer bigger fanbases or smaller ones?

Idk, iv only ever been in smaller or dead ones. I hear that big fan bases get really toxic real fast (so may opinions and all so i get it). But i see... not mean but not entirely friendly people in small ones too. I guess small ones bc you can interact (even i get brave enough) with a lot more of the community and you can see fan stuff for almost everyone.

21. Have you ever received hate for a ship you liked?

Not personally but I know people hate Humon with a burning passion and i get kinda anxious that they'll hate me too. i get paranoid real fast.

22. Do you have any ships that you ship, but would never want to see as canon?

I have many, i love marissa meyers books rn so all of them im for.

idk if sanders sides is dead, i recently got into it but theres not much. I like prinxiety and loganxpatton. Opposites attract.

26. What are your favorite shipping scenes?

i dont wanna go searching for all so here are ones that came to mind right now:

Wolfet: The train scene in Scarlet and literally all of Winter.

OscarxRuby(really gotta learn their ship name): the part where they played videogames. it was short but sweet. WHEN THEY CUDDLED ON THE STAKEOUT! when oscar asked her out, it was kinda weird (timing ya know. people literally just got massacured) but the little speech he made was really cute (what is up with confessing love right after someone dies in the books)

Humon: When Simon bid on the pie for Hugh when hes a cake lover. I love sacrifice (i also love food) and when Hugh ran to Simon when the bees hit attacked him, although it was kinda his job as a husband to do that. i dont have many canon ones for them.

Nodrian: the whole trilogy. how can u expect me to unravel all that in a few sentences. i just cannot.

Jacinter (pretty sure i did not spell that right): when he faked her death. It was G O L D and the way jacin sat bu her bedside 24/7 was so damn cute.

I have many more non cannon shipping scenes to canon. it didnt really ucure to be now that 1/2 my thoughts on books were fake.

i need help

27. What are your views on reader x canon ships?

Their cool. I dont personally read them much and when i do i never think of me in the situations. I read it as any other thing in short.

28. What is your best shipping advice?

Support what you want. Don't care if other people don't like it or harass you for it. You like what you want. If you want character a and b *(+) to be together do it. It's nobody's business but urs. (Unless it's pedophilia, abusive or any of that stuff the just stop)

*+ is for more than 2 people.

29. Do you like OCs (Original Characters)?

Yeah, I like OCs. Their creative and apart of the writer in some way.

30. What are some of your favorite shipping blogs?

ever interacted with them but i had one blog that i loved, it was all based on one ship i adored but THEY DEACTIVATED i miss u.

I managed to watched Loki episodes 2-4 because they actually downloaded last night! Now to wait until tonight to download the rest.

Spoilers below

Anyway, I wasn't expecting the "swooning" between Loki and Sylvie to come so early on tbh. And I'm glad they acknowledged how fucking weird it is too. But that doesn't excuse what I assume to be the two kissing by the end, or what almost happened before Loki kicked it in ep 4, making their weird relationship canon, even if one sided. In a way, they are the same exact person which is almost like a twin— sure, one is a female Loki and the other is, well, the MCU Loki. But they both are Loki no matter how you look at it. It feels morally gray but leaning more towards the weird and wrong side in my opinion.

Sylvie's backstory doesn't make too much sense to me. Was... Was her Nexus event being born? Was she a Variant at birth but they didn't detect her until she was older? Is that it? I'm developing a trans woman Sylvie HC because I can and I reject canon as always. Also this is d*sney, its super anti lgbtq+ unless it rakes in the money then they're pro lgbtq+. But that's besides the point— Sylvie was just a little girl playing with her toys, she wasn't doing shit but being an innocent child. THIS type of back story I can sympathize with because there is no clear reason why this happened to her in that scene we saw. Her childhood was taken because what? She wasn't supposed to of been born a girl? Born to be the person she is? Screw that! This may or may not be the reason but it surely feels that way to me.

The fact that magic can't be used in the TVA also makes no sense. I feel like the writers couldn't formulate a good reasoning as to why magic is useless so they just didn't explain when the subject presented itself. Honestly call that weak world building. Sure, its cool to keep it mysterious and all but no magic usage is such a minor detail that I feel like SHOULD be explained so the viewers can grasp a better sense of just HOW powerful the TVA is. They showed this with the infinity stones too but they didn't explain. In the movies, we're told the infinity stones are all powerful and then the TVA shows up and just debunks this fact? So now theres infinite amount of infinity stones? Thats so dumb! That makes Infinity War and End Game look way more pointless than need be! They ruined the MCU!

The one big world building idea I do like is that everyone are Variants. This does makes sense to me because there is no way someone made all these fucking people and also claim to be gods(just one god? Is this a whole convoluted Wizard of Oz behind the curtain situation?) of time. You can't do fucking both, thats way too much!

Despite my complaints, I am enjoying Loki, even if its giving me major Umbrella Academy vibes with the whole time travel theme(not to compare shows of course). Its interesting.

This is technically my third time trying to post these but they won’t post and if it gives me problems again, I’m gonna go postal.

Down below I am going to give you snippets of the Strawhats daily life and what they do during quarantine, as always my HC’s are bullet points but somehow also little stories. I don’t know how I work either. It will also be mostly an AU Modern life just cause on the sea I don’t know how it would really effect them? Other than in fights and everyone would have to debate do you get six feet away and try to duke it out or do you fight like normal and just really sanitize afterwards

During this quarantine I am home 24/7 and would be more than happy to talk, I’m figuring out now how to steal episodes of different shows so that i can make AMV’s so stay tuned for that,

He doesn’t know much about the virus except what everyone else tells him but he does misunderstand the “high risk=old” thing and fights anyone for an entire day who tries to go near his grandpa, and while Garp and everyone else want to correct him it’s kind of cute so they let it slide and send all the newbies to talk to Garp(okay Aokiji sends Akainu but nobody stopped him so they all go down with that secret)

Zoro: “the bars are whAT?!” is not fucking happy. He expresses this every day and let me tell you when the liquor stores closed down for not being essential it took several hours to calm him down and for Sanji to be like “i know a guy” and everyone was immediately like ?? Usually Luffy says that??? and by knowing a guy, Sanji meant Judge has several cellars dedicated to alcohol so yes, they did acquire some alcohol. And thankfully Judge can’t even leave his house to track anyone down so was it really even stolen to begin with?

Nami: Has so many side hustles she isn’t even worried about money, what she is worried about is people who don’t have supplies or food, so with Sanji they go around just making sure their neighborhood/relatives(that they like)/friends have everything they need and let me tell you when they saw people hoarding and over buying? Since police can’t go out for every little thing, you really can’t prove if they beat the shit out of you and left you only with necessities. Nor will you because once the other guys find out?? Oh its on, do not panic buy around these kids, they’ll fuck you up like it’s their job.

Usopp: Swings wildly from believing they have COVID19 and that it doesn’t even exist and somehow its all a way to control the masses(their hysteria knows no bounds) Usopp doesn’t go out much and cleans the crap out of everything every 3-4 hours just to make sure, they are considered essential at their job being an engineer so they 100% go out in a hazmat suit, works in a completely sterile environment and does not touch anything in the suit until they have taken a shower and removed their clothes from the day. Are they overreacting? Yes. Do they care? Absolutely not. Because if they get sick there's a 100000000% chance everyone in the household will get sick and that’s on Usopp, but they do make funny videos when their home with Zoro and Luffy about how the virus is affecting them.

Sanji: As previously stated he’s okay on money(they all are with how Nami runs their finances) and has taken up cooking meals for the elderly(making sure his dad(Zeff) stays healthy) and also beating the shit out of the people hoarding and trying to upsell supplies. Its one thing to joke, and hey Sanji can take a joke, but he can’t handle anyone going without because of stinginess. Sanji also, because he’s literally the purest child starts posting videos on how to make something delicious and also nutritious taste good on a budget, or with a picky eater who doesn’t like vegetables *cough cough* Luffy *cough cough*. He helps Zeff with the restaurant but makes people tip the servers at least 20%,

Chopper: Is stressed the fuck out, at every turn theres something new with the virus, he’s got one more exam to pass and “they’ve changed it from being in class to online which changes the rules and if he fails or has questions theres nobody there to help him-” and god save the queen Law comes in like a knight in shining armor and is like “I’ll be there to help you answer some questions you have a difficult time on” and choppers like “wut no that’s cheating” and Law and Robin are both like “yo it’s not like in the field you won’t be able to consult other doctors so it’s not” and choppers now suddenly fine with the not-cheating. While he’s not freaking out about exams, he’s freaking out about his essential friends, and that’s almost worse. Law’s thinking of writing him an anxiety prescription until all this is over(Law is also in panic mode 25/7).

Robin: calm, cool and collected, has a contingency plan for her original contingency plan. No peanut butter? She can make it. No fresh meat? Frozen will do just fine. Somebody is buying more than what they need and trying to mark it up? “Franky.” and like that the problems were handled. 100% helps Usopp and Law and Chopper with their anxiety about this, while she is concerned she also goes about her relatively normal daily business, like reading outside on a sunny day, going to the park with Luffy(they just walk, they don’t touch anything) practicing social distancing, washing her hands a bit more. (honestly everyone be like robin)

Franky: Is fine up until the store runs out of cola and now it’s fucking war. Him and Zoro are devising a plan to topple the world and Luffy will join in only because he is a child of chaos. While he’s not being melodramatic, he’s doing house repairs for the low and yard work(with Zoro and Luffy's nonessential asses) for older people who can’t get outside and do it and are too old, or for new moms and dad, single parent households, the whole shabang. If you don’t have money they take I.O.U’s because one day, they’ll need a favor that’s just their destiny.

Brook: Was immediately placed on lockdown for being the oldest of the group(mostly as a joke but the younger ones do go to the store for him, even Usopp) but he spends his time making music and funny videos so people can have a laugh. He’ll do concerts online and remake songs about the coronavirus, and even review some other songs(kind of like Mr. Rogers and Bob Ross, he’s so affectionate) he puts up halloween decorations mixed with Christmas decorations and the entire neighborhood follows suit and one morning he and the gang walk around in renaissance gear and scream “bring out yer dead!” and while the neighborhood thinks it's funny, the police do not(but they aren’t fast enough to catch the heathens).

Jimbei: Doesn’t see his people as much as he’d like but, thankfully they social distance and walk in the park to hold him over. He also spends a lot of his time helping the elderly, and also other people in need. And if a few people who try to upsell things are suddenly hospitalized, Law’s not going to inquire about the increase in assault victims and if he doesn’t inquire and the people don’t file a claim with the police, did it even happen? Jimbei works with Franky sometimes but mostly handles his own neighborhood and stopping punks from doing dumb shit(see Eustass for example) and if the gang sneaks over at night to hang out with Jimbei well he thinks its sweet and also dumb but he loves it.

(Bonus: what does it usually say?) ok im talkin abt my college au here bc im uncontrollable but like. some days cassian has classes and bodhi doesn’t and bodhi makes him lunch every once in a while before test days or whatever and he always puts in a little note that’s like “you’ve got this!! i believe in you!! you can’t have your zepplin shirt back until you focus and do your readings tonight 19-Who tells their family/friends about their relationship first? assuming we’re going w a modern au in which either of them has family to speak of, i’d say bodhi in his weekly call to his mom to chat he’s like “hey mom i have a boyfriend!! he’s cute and has nice hair but he’s bad at making jokes”20-What do their family/friends think of their relationship? bodhi’s mom is totally fine w it and so is his sister, cassian’s parents are kinda weird abt it at first but mostly bc his last relationship was really weird so they’d question it no matter who he was dating. but, they trust this bodhi kid and think if anyone has to date cassian it should be them21-Who is more likely to start dancing with the other? bodhi doesn’t think hes a good dancer.. at all but he’s fairly ok but cassian is.... a really good dancer and this is totally inspired by the film dirty dancing havana nights which i still havent seen but he’s a good dancer but doesnt dance much so bodhi’s really surprised but then some nights they sneak into the mess hall when they can’t sleep and they dance because its good for emotional release and theres space down there

22-Who cooks more/who is better at cooking? theyre both pretty good cooks but cassian cooks more bc it reminds him of what little he remembers of home23-Who comes up with cheesy pick up lines? bodhi googles them because he thinks hes funny and he keeps them in his notebook24-Who whispers inappropriate things in the other’s ear during inappropriate times?25-Who needs more assurance? both of them rlly? like bodhi’s been thru some shit and so has cassian and theyre both kinda insecure and not the best at positivity abt themselves so they both need a lot of reassurance abt things26-What would be their theme song? hmmm either in our bedroom after the war by stars, or you are a runner and i am my fathers son by wolf parade27-Who would sing to their child back to sleep? cassian definitely..28-What do they do when they’re away from each other? they try to keep busy but they definitely send transmissions as much as possible to keep in touch29-one headcanon about this OTP that breaks your heart. yknow. what happens in canon is enough for me lol30-one headcanon about this OTP that mends it. they have a lot of rituals after scarif for when one or both of them can’t sleep for any number of reasons, sometimes they’ll sneak out to this big hill near the base and look at the stars, or they’ll play cards (bodhi’s teaching cassian some tricks, but cass is fairly sure they arent good tricks and theyre making him lose), or cassian will tell bodhi about galactic history and run his fingers through his hair until eventually the sun rises or they fall back asleep
