ok i have thought long and hard here are XERXO hcs

- 3rd generation of his family in show business. his grandfather was a prolific director, his father was a director/producer and his mother was a big name costume designer

- he had his start doing radio dramas! captain hannigan was a somewhat obscure comic book character before elliot was cast as him in a separate radio show and he proved very popular with audiences and got his own spinoff show. costars HATEDDDDD working with him though he was. Difficult

- he was beginning to resent the role of capt hannigan. invaders from beyond the stars was the first movie after the character was acquired by a new studio and he was given much less creative control than he was accustomed to. also prior to the movie he was only ever referred to as Captain, no first name given thus his gripe abt that

- he had some smaller roles in tv and had auditioned for a more serious film or 2 just before the war. captain blast hannigan was still his defining role

- xerxo was a character that he had pitched for his radio show, he was to be a rival Zebulonian captain in a multi-episode arc. ones again the writers turned him down (these ones being those that generally did take his ideas and criticisms for his character it Stung a bit)

- his upbringing was very hands-off, he enjoyed reading comics and watching tv as a kid. he was a huge nerd, didnt have a lot of friends

- he IS still aware of himself to some degree. like he Outright Says, the xerxo persona is the only way he can effectively cope with uh. the Everything

- he has never seen another non-feral ghoul before. if he did he would still claim that he is something else entirely
