Ttte scar headcanons

Thomas: has a tiny scar across his throat and a tiny scar between his ribs on his side, has no idea where they came, nor due any medical records showing anything regarding them.

Edward: usual burn scars on his arms, is missing his thumb and index fingers on his right hand and a pinky on his left along with a huge scar down the side of his wrist.

Henry: is an absolute scarred up mess, has scars on his side, chest, neck, legs, abdomen due to his health.

Gordon: has a scar from when he broke his arm when he crashed through the station wall, and a burn scar on his foot from the time he accidentally poured boiling water down his boot.

James: a burn scar on his left leg and a scar under his chin because he once tripped and spit his chin open on the rail

Percy: miraculously he has no scars

Toby: has the usual burn scars on his arms and hands, nothing serious.

Duck: two on his knees from when he jumped out of his engine when it crashed into the barber shop, and miraculously walked away from it with only two scrapped up knees.

Donald: has a tiny one from when he and Douglas were playing darts when they were younger and Douglas accidentally somehow stuck the dart in Donald’s foot when he went to throw it.

Douglas: a tiny one on his chin that he got from Donald after he stuck the dart in Donald’s foot.

Oliver: had his arm amputated and a few scratches on his other arm, plus the unusual burn marks.

Emily: is smart enough to not get hurt.

Diesel: a burn mark on his hand from that time he thought that holding a lighter in his gasoline covered hand was a smart idea.

Bill: has a scar across his forehead from when Ben ran into him.

Ben: has a scar across his forehead from when bill ran into him.

BoCo: has a few that are related to his diabetes, nothing really serious.

the mob psycho 100 anime ended some time ago and I’ve been wanting to draw something for it, this show is so good…… I’ve started watching it very recently (it was around September, I actually started watching because of the tumblr sexyman poll thing hdhhdhxhs) and I’m a bit sad I didn’t discover it earlier, though I’m glad I did just before season 3 dropped :’)

The writing is so good, it’s simple (in a good way, u know?) but it just works so well?? The humor is top notch, and the characters are lovable and I just love it so so so much ;;;; I really recommend you watching it if you haven’t already, it might become one of your favorites too!

(Now let’s all pray for the reigen spinoff to get adapted too 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽)

Expanding on my last post, here’s what all of the engines would do if given art supplies (modified for them to handle, I.e tapped to the end of a long chopstick for them to hold in their mouth)

Thomas: does a coloring book page of himself in blue, does not stay in the lines at all because lines are overrated.

Edward: takes his time to make his drawing look as nice as he could. Draws a flowery field with sheep

Henry: “okay, this is a postmodern contemporary abstract take of my forest inspired by pollock done in wax crayola crayons and… to be honest, I can’t draw at all.”

Gordon: gets frustrated, rips up the page and accidentally swallows the crayon.

James: rage quits and spits his crayon out and then runs over it.

Percy: is too busy trying to sniff the markers and crayons than actually doing any art.

Toby: has Henrietta pose with Percy while he tries to draw them.

Duck: draws the Great Western Way ™ which is try and draw a map of his line before realizing how hard that is and settling with drawing an ocean with boats.

Donald: draws dilly in pink because he thinks that’s dilly’s favorite color.

Douglas: an albino polar bear lost in a snowstorm, aka left the page blank.

Oliver: tries to draw toad, found it too hard so he scribbled it all in black and called it “toad during a blackout”

Emily: draws flowers but they came out looking like blood splatter.

Marion: has a paint brush taped to her shovel and paints rocks.

Cranky: drops buckets of paint onto a cloth

Skarloey: tries to draw the welsh dragon but with train parts, came out looking like a red blob.

Rheneas: tries to do a self portrait.

Sir Handel: is not having any of it because he thinks his art looks terrible.

Peter Sam: eats the black crayon “this coal tastes funny”

Duncan: starts out fine, messes up, rages and makes a huge mess of his drawing

Rusty: is having the time of his life.

thinking about how Humans Are Space Orcs stories always talk about how indestructible humans are, our endurance, our ability to withstand common poisons, etc. and thats all well and good, its really fun to read, but it gets repetitive after a while because we aren't all like that.

And that got me thinking about why this trope is so common in the first place, and the conclusion I came to is actually kind of obvious if you think about it. Not everyone is allowed to go into space. This is true now, with the number of physical restrictions placed on astronauts (including height limits), but I imagine it's just as strict in some imaginary future where humans are first coming into contact with alien species. Because in that case there will definitely be military personnel alongside any possible diplomatic parties.

And I imagine that all interactions aliens have ever had up until this point have been with trained personnel. Even basic military troops conform to this standard, to some degree. So aliens meet us and they're shocked and horrified to discover that we have no obvious weaknesses, we're all either crazy smart or crazy strong (still always a little crazy, academia and war will do that to you), and not only that but we like, literally all the same height so there's no way to tell any of us apart.

And Humans Are Death Worlders stories spread throughout the galaxy. Years or decades or centuries of interspecies suspicion and hostilities preventing any alien from setting foot/claw/limb/appendage/etc. on Earth until slowly more beings are allowed to come through. And not just diplomats who keep to government buildings, but tourists. Exchange students. Temporary visitors granted permission to go wherever they please, so they go out in search of 'real terran culture' and what do they find?

Humans with innate heart defects that prevent them from drinking caffeine. Humans with chronic pain and chronic fatigue who lack the boundless endurance humans are supposedly famous for. Humans too tall or too short or too fat to be allowed into space. Humans who are so scared of the world they need to take pills just to function. Humans with IBS who can't stand spicy foods, capsaicin really is poison to them. Lactose intolerance and celiac disease, my god all the autoimmune disorders out there, humans who struggle to function because their own bodies fight them. Humans who bruise easily and take too long to heal. Humans who sustained one too many concussions and now struggle to talk and read and write. Humans who've had strokes. Humans who were born unable to talk or hear or speak, and humans who through some accident lost that ability later.

Aliens visit Earth, and do you know what they find? Humanity, in all its wholeness.

And like its totally #ruined my ability to watch action shows/movies because now i just sit there and count how many concussions there characters are getting #after a certain point it becomes totally impossible to believe that these guys are able to function. Suddenly struck with the thought of my faves twirling my hair around their fingers and I'm so deeply unwell about it!!!

Diluc getting distracted by a single free curl and trying to tuck it away, only to find himself even more distracted when the ends curl around the tip of his finger. How ardently he resists the urge to untuck it and give it a little tug, just to see it bounce back into a spiral when he lets it go again.

Kaeya giving a curl that somehow escaped its siblings wrapped up in a bun, a teasing pull and snickering when you swat at his hand lightly. Only to come back when you're focused on your work to continuously wind and unwind the hair around his fingers fondly.

Zhongli marveling at the way the sun catches each looping curl; lining them in what he believes is the finest gold that he's ever seen. Tenacious as stone when holding their shape, yet softer than down spun from clouds in his hands; he relishes in the way each curl he toys with loses it shape for only a moment before bouncing back the same as ever.

Xiao's familiar and signature wary gaze turning into one of shock and curiosity when he gives a ringlet a cautious tug, and it give a soft spring back into its original shape. He's too unsure of himself to do much more, but often finds himself passively toying with a curl or two whenever you're near.

Cyno running oiled fingers throughout your curls, helping you apply a protectant that will keep most of the heat and humidity of the forests at bay. Separating each curl so carefully, like you've taught him before; giving a satisfactory huff when his, "you should really call these 'cutie-cles'" joke makes you sigh, but the quivering of your shoulders and the light sway of your curls tells him that you're holding back your laugh.

Kaveh struck with a sudden stroke of genius and dashing to his drafts after spending the past thirty minutes mindlessly curling your ringlets on his fingers. A month later, you find pillars in his latest work with that same, familiar pattern as the ringlets he always toys with.

Neuvillette enamored with the image of you allowing a curl to coil about your fingers while you think. His hands itch to reach out and curl it himself, but he shows restraint in this public space. Perhaps in the privacy of his own quarters, you'll let him feel those ringlets curling around his fingers again.

Wriothesley, so familiar with the rigidity and gruffness of Meropide, finding a moment of solace when he gets the chance to bury his face in your curls. Always holding you as close as possible when you lay against his chest, just so he can see each coil spring back into place after he's stretched it out. Like a little calming ritual just for him.

Just! Just!!!!!! Play with my hair pleaseeee 🥺💕🙏🏾
