Man, I still remember participating in one of the many jjba zines that I took part in and how my piece was placed as the first page (for the second time) and how one of my mutuals/artists that I’ve always admired, hit me with the “oh… you’re on the front page again… 😅…” like man, that kind of killed me lmfao. I never got over it like man, what was that about.

luke was always the kind of guy to shower his girl in love and gifts and literally everything. she was his person and he loved her so much. which is why it broke his heart every time her eyes watered with emotion when he gave her something unexpected.

she hadn’t experienced any of this. any of the plethora of compliments, the endless flowers, the endless gifts, no one had ever done that for her. it surprised her every time luke did it, even if it was just as simple as him whispering “you’re gorgeous” in her ear before going to bed.

recently, it has gotten worse. she ran into her ex when she and been visiting luke over spring break. she had briefly forgotten about his commitment to a nearby school. she was at the bookstore down the street from luke’s apartment, looking for the new book that had just released, when he tapped her on the shoulder.

she freaked out, eyes widening as she tried to find a way out of the situation. when she returned to luke's apartment he could tell there was something off about her. so, he started making sure he was doing everything in his power to make her feel better. he didn't have to know what was said, what had happened. all he had to know was that something upset his girl and he was going to do as much as he could to make it right.

y/n was concerned about the amount luke had been spending, about this new found obsession with doing everything and anything for her. not that she wasn't used to him doing this, but this. this was new.

it had been about five days since she had seen her ex, things had gone slightly back to normal for her at least. luke on the other hand, was not. she was supposed to go back yesterday but luke had begged her to stay another two days, at least. she sighed and gave in because she couldn't say no to him, especially when he had that pout.

this would now be the fifth day of luke bombarding y/n with gifts. the first day was a bouquet of roses, the second day was a new lego set, the third day was him waking her up with breakfast in bed and starbucks, plus a trip to the bookstore she loved oh so dearly. and yesterday he had taken her to this little art shop where they got to paint random pieces of pottery that they made.

today was now a new adventure. he had asked her about two hours before their reservation to this restaurant she had been wanting to go to, "do you want to go out tonight? for dinner."

"luke, what is all of this?"

"what?" his voice was innocent.

"buying me things, taking me places. why do you keep doing this-"

"because i'm trying to prove to you that you are loved."

"what?"

"last week, when you came back from the store. you were sad and you looked like how you did when we started dating. like you were trying to convince yourself that you deserved this."

"i don't know what you are talking about."

he grabbed her arm and pulled her into her so their chests were flushed with one another. she blushed as she peered up at him, "luke."

"i don't know what happened with your ex okay? i love you and you deserve that. you deserved to have everything, okay? and i will give you everything if that's what it takes to make you believe that."

much like all the other times, her eyes began to water, "i love you too."

You place your phone down on your nightstand, sluggishly rolling your body out of bed. You put on you slippers and walk to the bathroom to do your morning routine. Classes didn’t start till 1:30 so you had some time to get ready and eat.

^Itadori POV^

“Nobara did you ask her” Itadori had the same morning class as Kugisaki. He whined to her as he laid his head down onto her desk.

“Yes now give me money.” Itadori had always thought you was pretty. They had attended some of the same parties this year since he had mutual friends with you. After finding out Kugisaki is close friend with you, he used it to his advantage. Using every chance he got to try seeing you more often.

^Y/n POV^

After putting on a decent outfit you headed to the front door of your apartment and slipped on your shoes. Looking at the time in your phone. It was exactly 12. Still an hour and a half till your class started, you went to the nearest cafe to get a snack and some Drink before heading to class.

You walked to the cafe, not driving since the cafe was only a couple minutes away. Passing some clothing stores, taking a glance inside you see your friend shopping.

“Nobara I thought you had class” You Walked into the store and approaching the brown haired girl.

“I did but i left early, I couldn’t deal with my friend, He’s such a headache.” Kugisaki massaged her temples. Linking her arm with yours before walking out of the store. “That store has no cute clothes, it’s all old lady clothes.”

“That’s not nice, I thought some of the shirts were cute.” She eyed you before continuing to walk. “I’m gonna go grab a coffee, wanna come with?”

“Sure! You’re paying though.I paid last time we went out and I’m broke right now”

You opened the door to the cafe for her. All tall figure comes behind you grabbing the door, their arm above your head, now holding the door open for you. You thanked them before walking in, already seeing Nobara looking at the menu. She turned around, her facial expression turning into an annoyed look.

“Yuji what are you doing here.” Looking up at the pink haired boy. You watched them interact then looking at the menu to decide what you wanted to get.

“I was just walking by and I saw you and your gorgeous friend and yea. What are you guys getting? Have any recommendations?” Itadori was now standing right next to you. Standing way too close. Ignoring his presence and the conversation he was having with you friend, you kept on looking at the menu before getting your body yanked to the side by Nobara.

“Leave us alone Yu, she doesn’t wanna give you a “recommendation” you don’t even drink this type of stuff. You only like energy drinks” Nobara seemed annoyed by his sudden appearance. You noticed Nobara getting protective over you, questioning it.

“You’re such a meanie Nobara, I just wanted to try something new.” The pink haired guy walked towards you, standing in front of you. “Hey my name is Itadori Yuji.”

“Hello, I’m L/n F/n” He extended his hand to shake yours. Which you hesitantly shook. “Is he the “headache” from your class?” You turned over to Kugisaki, rolling her eyes at Yuji.

“Yes that’s him. Now you see why he’s a headache?” Yuji clutched his sweater, pretending to be overly offended by her words.

“Such a meanie, this is why no guy likes you.” Itadori said teasingly, he averted his gaze back to you. “She’s so mean to me for no reason. I’m so cool in my opinion, I have cool hair, I do cool stuff, and I’m funny. Right?” He stared at you, waiting for a response.

“I mean I don’t even know you but yea?” You didn’t know what to say, you haven’t even had a conversation with him before but he does seem like a cool person to you. You walked to the register and ordered your drink.Kugisaki ordered hers and right after Itadori ordered his. Catching you off guard, knowing you had to pay for his drink now too. You let it slide since you didn’t want to seem rude.

Grabbing your wallet out of your bag, you look up to see Itadori had already paid for it. ‘what a gentleman’

The three of you waited for your drinks, stand in to the side as Itadori and Kugisaki argued about anything and everything. Hearing your order be called, you all grabbed your drinks before heading out the doors.

“Hey L/n what time does your class start at? It’s 1:18, we should go do something.” Itadori glanced at you, watching your expression change.

“Oh shit, class starts in 12 minutes. And the walk is pretty far. Bye guys It was nice meeting you Itadori!” You quickened your pace. Saying your goodbye and thanking Itadori for paying for the drinks.

“Hold up! My car is right over there, I’ll just drive you to campus.” He jogged to you, matching the same pace as you. Leaving Kugisaki all alone. She turned around and went in her own direction, towards all the clothing stores.

“Are you sure? I don’t want to be a burden to you. I can just walk it’s fine.”

“It’s not fine. Going late is bad L/n, and don’t call yourself a burden. Don’t worry I’ll just take you.”

He grabbed the keys out of his pocket before leading the way to his car. You arrived to the parking garage where he stationed his car. An all black 2015 GT Ford Mustang, he opened the passenger door for you, you dipped into the car. The interior was mostly black leather with some red accents.

"Your car is sick Itadori." You watch him get into the drivers side, putting on the seat belt before starting the car. A low pur coming out of the engine. You smiled to yourself, you were never a car girl but you did enjoy cars, especially going fast.

"Thanks, if we take the long way, we can get onto the highway and I'll show you how fast it goes." Itadori changes the gears of the car before rolling out of the parking garage.

"I'm so down but maybe another day, my class is almost starting. Thank you though." You glance down at your phone to check the time you had 7 minutes till class started. You might be a little late but that wasn't a big issue.

You arrive to the school campus 4 minutes. The car ride over to the campus was pleasant, you held a small conversation with the pink haired boy and got to know more about him. He told you about his dreams and ambitions, how he wanted to become an all star basketball player some day, moving to the states to pursue his career after he finished college.

"Thank you so much Itadori, it was a pleasure meeting you!" You hoped out of the car, slightly bowing your head in a form of gratitude towards the man. You left some money in the console of his car, he did pay for the coffee and gave you a ride to school.

"No problem seriously, what time does your class end at by the way?" A few cars that were behind him started honking their horn since he was blocking the way.

"It ends at 4. People are honking at you, you should get going." You laugh a little at him as you closed the door, Itadori lowered the window of the door down. He rolls his eye playfully at you as he begins to put his car in first gear.

"Alright, I'll pick you up. Just meet me near the music building." His car started move slowly, you quickly started following the cars pace. Placing your hand on the ledge of the door. You glare your eyes at him.

"You are not picking me up, you already done so much for me, bye Itadori." You walk away from the car, waving at him over your shoulder and start walking to your class.

"We'll see about that!" He yells out of the car window before speeding off. You walk up the stairs to your first class, arriving a couple minutes late. Taking a seat in the back next to an acquaintance, Ogami Hinata.

"So, you and Itadori a thing?" Your eyes pop out your head as you face the black haired girl.

"Excuse me?" You're extremely taken aback from this comment. You had just met the guy and people already assume your dating! You thought to yourself he relationship with Itadori. Maybe she was a crazy ex girlfriend.

"I mean he dropped you off and you guys were laughing and smiling. Do you like him." She glared at you, "Many girls would kill to be in your position, including me! Just imagine Itadori driving me to school." She covered her face and blush tainted her ivory cheeks. "You're so lucky!"

You don't respond to her, not knowing what to say you leave the conversation as is, letting silence take over.

Class came to an end faster than you expected. You step out of the music building and to your surprise you see Itaadori's all back Mustang parked.

Our fandom icon @bluebutter-art is celebrating her birthday today and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to once again scream about this fantastic human and unbelievably talented artist. I’m sure I don’t need to tell anyone how gifted Blue is, and how she has created 90% of my all-time favourite Drarry artworks at this point - her depictions speak so deeply to my soul that they’ve easily become my personal headcanon for these characters, not only in terms of appearance, mannerisms, posture and gadgets, but also storytelling-wise. To me Blue is just like a fic writer in the sense she’s able to come up with these rich, vibrant, aesthetically gorgeous and tender love stories, and that’s without including a single line of dialogue if she so desires. Her work has such emotional depth and resonance it feels like I’m reading a 30k fic with exciting plots, charming characters, witty flirting and the gentlest, sexiest get together. It’s just so impressive - and quite unbelievable to think we’re this lucky to have someone like her in our fandom. I don’t know how Blue gets to tug at my poor heartstrings every.single.time with poignant character arcs, witty expressions and compelling physique 🥵

Beyond her undeniable skill, Blue is also joyful, enthusiastic and supportive presence in the fandom. The ying yang aesthetics are striking, I love the detailed outfits, the vibrant colors and beautiful textures, their delicate intertwined hands! As a side note this art was based off a song that I love from this amazing album by Sleeping at Last, double kudos for that!

Still one of my personal favourites, I’m so soft for this brand of slice-of-life domesticity! Harry’s fond smile watching the people he loves the most together in the same room is a gorgeous portrayal of those moments of soft realization when we’re hit by the thought “god, I’m so lucky I get to be around these people”. This art captures perfectly the magic of those moments in time, and my heart is full and warm, right there with Harry’s.

This is my all-time favorite Drarry comic alongside a series from Dustmouth, and hands down my favorite piece from last year’s Sudsfest. It’s still hard to talk about (or even look at) it without getting all choked up. Within just a few lovely, meaningful panels, Blue delivers the most touching, deeply emotionally packed love story. This is a triumph, a poignant journey about grief and healing, quietly devastating but still full of hope and warmth. If you haven’t checked it yet what are you even doing with your fandom life?

Sometimes it’s Now or Never

This is one of the comics I revisit the most, I adore it so so much. Auror Harry trusting Draco to patch him up after a raid is THE ULTIMATE TROPE and Blue executes it so perfectly. The storytelling is complete and effective, you can feel the trust and tenderness between these characters without needing further background on their relationship. The amount of time I spent looking at those kissing panels, mesmerized at Harry’s silent resolve and Draco’s sweet tenderness as he yields into the kiss… *sigh* peak romance!

How have you been? I apologize for being absent for a little while, I believe the last ask I sent in before my departure never made it through so I decided to leave asks alone for a bit so that wouldn’t happen again. I’ve gotten up to a couple of things while I was gone….I got sick again…whoops…. I’ve also been trying to psyche myself up to draw for the first time in a while, to make a very long story short some events in life made me stop drawing entirely a couple years back and I’ve been nervous to pick it back up again despite really wanting too cause I’d most likely have to go back to learning the basics which for my brain is so difficult to navigate, but I’m getting there!!!!

I also come with a fun lil VN recommendation! I literally just found it today and I loved it, it’s a short VN on itch.io called Akiya by Chary! The plots very sweet and simple, it’s summer break and you’re exploring an abandoned traditional Japanese house to take some pictures and you meet a new friend on the way! It’s such a cute game, the art is gorgeous and it’s also jampacked with information about Japanese culture which was extremely fun to learn about, the download page actually has an additional “Reference Sheet” you can download alongside the game that goes into more detail about all the cultural references that’s made (along with music sources and an ending guide!) All in all Akiya is such a cute game that I enjoyed and really recommend you check out! The creator also has another game but I haven’t played it yet

RANDOM THOUGHTS: Two Worlds ep. 1

This is technically my second watch. However, since I wanted to make posts about my random thoughts on each episode of this series, I decided to start over. So, here are my random thoughts on this first episode:

The logo for the series is really pretty with the red and blue creating that infinity symbol.

I always appreciate some fantasy/supernatural aspects. It was actually one of the reasons I wanted to watch this series, along with Max and Nat being in it.

Khram will always have a special place in my heart for the sole reason that he’s an artist. Yes, I’m biased like that.

Khram being more interested in painting than that girl talking is so me.

That girl getting pissy for Khram being more interested in painting shows they’re not a good match. I don’t care that they haven’t seen each other for two weeks. Painting is clearly his thing. She could take a seat next to him and watch him paint. How fascinating wouldn’t that be?

I love that Khram’s dad is an artist as well.

Naked Phupha. 5 minutes into the series, and we’ve already gotten some bare ass.

Khram referring to past Phupha: “That little brat?” I wonder how small Phupha was when they met as kids. Either way, he’s really grown up, hasn’t he?

I love feisty Khram. Nat always has a knack for playing feisty.

I also love the pretty nature shots.

The first time I watched this episode, I thought that the man sleeping against the tree was Phupha. But it turned out to be Thai.

A person who appreciates art will always have a special place in my heart.

Okay, to be a bit more serious… Why is Phupha bringing up the legend about the “portal” in this scene? Is it because he knows it’s true? Is it because he knows what’s going to happen? Or is it just a foreshadowing of Khram entering the other world because of Phupha?

I love the chemistry between Khram and Phupha. Their openness and vulnerability with each other… Beautiful.

(Btw, I don’t care about shipping culture, so I don’t mind actors changing “partners”. And in this particular case, I’m really enjoying Gun and Nat together.)

The way Khram is lying there on his bed, thinking back to the kiss, while smiling is so cute.

Phupha: “I’m most myself when I’m with you.” He’s falling hard, isn’t he? And, even better, it’s reciprocated.

These boys are making me emotional (I’m partially blaming my current migraine for this).

Phupha giving Khram that necklace is pretty much the same as giving him an engagement ring (at least in my mind).

How can these two be so hot, funny, and cute at the same time? I’m getting whiplash here.

Props to the girl who broke her engagement (or soon-to-be engagement) with Khram after learning he’s in love with Phupha. However, considering this is a BL, I have a bad feeling it won’t be that simple. I’ve seen too many BLs where female characters have been reduced to evil and desperate wreckers to believe this is the end of her and Khram. I hope I’m wrong about this.

I’m sorry, but Max is hot as a baddie.

Honestly, I don’t think Phupha’s dad would raise him and take care of him all these years only to kill him as soon as the truth of Phupha’s real dad came out. And if he was behind Phupha’s death, there has to be some other reason for it, right?

This was a good start to the series. I’m already enjoying the chemistry between Khram and Phupha, Max being a baddie, and the beautiful nature shots.

Well, seems like I get too excited when I start to like someone and I invest too much time thinking about them 😂 sure I’m pretty damn lonely, but I’m content with it. We started to talk, but I think as the title says “feelings not mutual.” She’s such a beautiful person, but we’re far apart. She’s smart, funny, drop-dead -I’ll fight the whole world for you-gorgeous, but she’s also like way younger than I am 🥲 oh well right? I don’t know why she asked for my number honestly, I guess that’s where I’m confused. I mean I dated older women when I was younger too, but I think that’s different. How did I let myself think there could be more? Idiot central on my brain stem.

What I truly miss about a relationship/friendship is spending the time with someone and doing things together, even mundane things like grocery shopping to make sandwiches. I’ve spent most of the last decade being reserved. All the things I got excited to imagine doing with this person.. I gotta just do them myself!

Ideas so far : go hiking (hell if I get stuck in a crevice and die, that’s two birds with one stone, right?) Next, go downtown to paint the legal walls in the arts district. I really wanted to go ice skating or even regular skating, but I do that by myself sometimes anyway. She said, “you should go take a trip somewhere!” Because I have some days off, but it’s more so because it’s my Dad’s birthday and the first of his birthdays since he passed away. I took the days off because my Mom has been crying all week and I’m staying home to get some larger projects done around the house; like painting walls and climbing ladders to clean high-up which makes her happy, but like how happy could that really make her on my Dad’s birthday now that he’s gone? But hey, I’m joining a gym tomorrow, so that’s new I guess.

The real problem I have, my brother being an addict and continuing to relapse every few months. He was high when my Dad died, he was high as I was performing cpr on my Dad.. after we carried him to the floor.. he was high taking my Mom downstairs as she nearly died from her heart breaking (literally.) He was high the last time we saw my Dad to say goodbye after they pronounced him dead.. and he saw me close his eyes with my finger tips. He was high everyday my Mom was in the hospital- and he’s been high all this month and last month. He threw away five months sobriety because some girl moves back here and she (big surprise) gets high too. The most hurtful part is the lies.. and why lie when I already know the truth? I can see it, I can smell it, and god be damned if he doesn’t know that by now. More so it hurts watching him do the same to her. My mom said, “You were high when your Dad died and you’ll be high when I die! Won’t you?!”

She has always been so strong my whole life and it’s been devastating seeing her deteriorate in the last couple years. Honestly, if she’s gone I don’t know what I’d do, my whole life’s purpose has become caring for her and helping with bills, but really with my brother torturing her like this.. I mean, it just all feels so pointless. The last day I was at work, everyone knew I was down and out over something.. but how could I even say any of this to anybody? Why burden anybody with it besides some strangers who happen across a post this long and take the time to torture themselves with reading all of it? Lmao 🤣 (sorry if you made it this far.) Well.. till next time I guess, whenever I’m feeling stuck in between giving up and pushing through.. I’ll keep everyone updated 👍 *cricket chirping intensifies*

overall thoughts: i’m extremely biased in that i really wanted to like it as i was going in and i have to say i wasn’t disappointed or dissatisfied AT ALL! i really don’t have anything negative to say that’s not nitpicking, like i wish there was an extra 1-2 lines about Dodds never existing to hammer that sense of wrongness in. or some mention of just why the blue candy is so special. Walker really embodies Percy, Aryan has all these little quirks that that just so Grover. the music transports you in, and overall art direction is extremely truthful to the experience of reading those books. it’s a fantastic pilot and it has me so so so excited to watch more! which i’ll probably do tomorrow

So I’m rethinking Adeline’s (Ranger) physical design. I know I want her to have longer, curly hair for now and to be around mid-size and that I want her to be a little above average height for a lady but honestly the rest I’m stumped on.

For now Ranger’s design doesn’t seem fitting enough to me and I really want to draw her but god I can’t even finish her design so how am I gonna draw her..💀

Anyways for my own sake I’m gonna leave some head cannons about Adeline cuz I love her and hope others will too!

• She loves to do anything with her hands! Baking, ceramics, painting, etc! She even has a separate bedroom/office that isn’t very big but she uses it as a studio!

• She has a cat named Michael cuz she loves to name not human things with really human names

• Literally OBSESSED with Grizzly Bears

• Loves foggy, cloudy, and rainy days

• Adeline usually is called Ada by anyone close to her

• She was born in Arizona but her family bounced around to follow jobs her entire childhood, finally settling in a small town for a few years & moving again to washington right before her 18th

• While she always wanted to be an art teacher & even went to school for it in washington she eventually got in an argument with her mom & later moved away as well as dropping out

People tend to enjoy my Souls takes and opinions, so here’s another list.

Bloodborne Boss List (Best to Worst)

Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower: This fight is incredible for many reasons. Lore significance, blood arts, the cutscene, the arena, but what really makes it good is the fact that even though it’s not the hardest fight in the game, I always enjoy it.

Orphan of Kos: This man is THE fight in Bloodborne. You know the one. This man woke up and chose violence (literally) and is going to smash your head in with it. We love him. Great fight and definitely one of the best ever.

Ebrietas, Daughter of the Cosmos: This fight makes me nervous whenever I walk in because how the fight goes is determined by what kind of mood she’s in. Either way it’s a fun fight, but I swear she bullies me sometimes.

Gehrmann, The First Hunter: Talk about a way to end the game. Great arena and he has such a cool vibe. The music when you fight him is also gorgeous so that helps.

Father Gascoigne: Dude is Bloodborne’s first real skill check. He is like Genichiro in Sekiro. He’s here to make sure you know what your in for and he’ll beat you with experience AND his fists.

Ludwig, the Accursed/Holy Blade: Dear Lord, this dude hurts. The only reason he’s not higher is because this dude’s hit boxes can be really aggravating sometimes. And when he hits like a freaking steam train, that can make a girl salty right quick.

Mergo’s Wet Nurse: Her design is fire and she is a scary fight. Not because she’s hard, but because one wrong move will put you on the wrong end of 8 scimitars slashing you to death.

Martyr Logarius: Logarius is the only fight in the main game that makes me really put on the tryhard pants. His zoning game frustrates my aggressive style and his projectiles hit harder than they should.

Vicar Amelia: She hits me when she really shouldn’t, but her design is cool, so I like her.

Darkbeast Paarl: Cakewalk. Truly me laying the smack down on an electric bone puppy.

Moon Presence: He looks SO cool, but as the last boss in the game, he definitely fell short for me because I practically abuse this thing every time I fight it.

Cleric Beast: Easy first boss, but he’s definitely not the worst and he’s kinda fun early game.

Laurence, the First Vicar: Cleric Beast but fire type. He has some new tricks and more health, but really nothing I hadn’t seen before.

Blood-Starved Beast: Kinda the average line in this list. Really nothing special, but the poison does create a bit of a nuisance.

Witches of Hemwick: Easiest boss in the game bar none, but I don’t actively hate them.

The One Reborn: Annoying. I take a lot of random damage in this fight and I’m not really a fan.

The Living Failures: A bunch of toddlers in a garden that can call down meteors. And they hit pretty hard. A nightmare for my ADHD.

Micolash: Haunted house meets projectile spammer. Not hard, just annoying. He’s also a smug, delusional asshole, so smacking him around is really a public service.

Celestial Emissary: Worst game of Whack-a-mole ever.

Shadows of Yharnam: Worst gangbang I’ve ever been a part of. Too much range and not a ton of cover. They hit hard and eventually giant snakes spawn unless you stop them. Endlessly frustrating and definitely not a fun gank fight.

Rom, The Vacuous Spider: The only spider I’ve ever not liked. Hoards of spiders that do too much damage, insane range, and lots of meteors. Lots of damage output for a creature that doesn’t do much. Frankly, it’s not him, it’s his entourage. The mini spiders make this fight an absolute drag and I despise dropping into his arena.

Amygdala: Bad boss design. Plain and simple. What makes him the worst is his lack of consistency. His arms and head are his ONLY weak spots, but they are rarely ever in reach long enough to hit for decent damage. You can break his arms, but even still, he attacks with those. He’s not hard in the base game, but in Chalice Dungeons is where you really see the flaws in this boss’s design.

He had watched you from a distance (not creepily). But he also saw that visible feeling he knew too well; the looking around for someone and the disappointment when you realise you’ve been stood up. Hence why you pulled your book out. You paid for a drink, you might as well sip away at it while doing something productive with your time.

Bob quietly approached you in the old-age move of buying himself another drink and, while waiting for his drink to be served, asked what you’re reading,

You’re not stupid. It’s the oldest trick in the book. Without even sparing him a glance, you stated the name of the book and the author.

To your surprise, he recommended a rare book by the same author, stating it was a good read. It’s not one of the author’s well-known works but it’s the type of book you need to give it a chance and you’ll be surprised.

You glanced up and was taken aback by his kind and humble features. You couldn’t help but match his smile, showing your dimples and making him smile more. You were the first to introduce yourself and he introduced himself back as ‘Bob’.

Simply that. Bob. No boasting that he’s the best pilot, or one of the best pilots, no lame-ass pickup lines following. Just humble Bob who seemed to share the same reading interests.

Your book left forgotten as you both conversed over 1…2…3 drinks, which loosened you up to start bantering and throwing playful remarks every now and then, making the two of you laugh and banter.

It was hours, HOURS, before you both decide to finally call it an evening.  But not without exchanging numbers. With alcohol in his system, Bob actually asked for your number!

Sweet, shy Bob… something about you just seemed to either give him an air of confidence, or perhaps he was actually desperate to get to know you.

You both never run out of conversations. There’s always something to talk about, discuss or debate (friendly debate only).

You’re also both content just being in each other’s company without conversation too. It’s a comfortable silence. Him just quietly vibing or reading a book, you off in your own world.

He gives a small nudge or rub to your arm if he needs your attention for something.

Especially if a look of concern washes over your face, especially if you’re overthinking.

You’re the therapist friend to everyone but he’s the therapist friend to you. You can talk to him about anything and everything and he’ll listen and give the most logical advice without it being biased.

You’ve introduced him to a few new books, he’s introduced you to a few knew things he’s read in the past. He doesn’t have as much time to read nowadays with his Top Gun training since he’s been picked to be part of such an elite squad. But you’re fine with that. He’s either taken it on board or he’ll ask you to fill him in and he’ll happily listen to you.

Hangs on every word you’re saying while giving you his undivided attention. Is it him being respectful or him captivated by your eyes? (Both. It’s both).

Dates with you two are a mix of adventure and romantic. Sometimes it’ll be something outdoors-y. Sometimes it’ll be something arty (like, those coffee dates where you grab a coffee together and then you paint a ceramic mug or something). Of course Bob paints a plane on his. But he gives his to you. He may or may not have tried painting a love-heart in the bottom on the inside of the mug (it came out a little wonky because manoeuvring the brush inside the mug was hard, okay?)

No date like this ever seemed silly to Bob. He loved it. And he appreciated that you didn’t hound him with pilot questions or to go for a ride in the plane (he’d get fired for it!). With you, he gets to be just Bob.

He’s your number 1 fan. He’ll support you in any endeavours you do and is always, always proud of you.

A kiss to the cheek and a whispered “I’m proud of you, darling.” Makes you melt.

He’s always adored the intelligence of your mind. And your ambitious spirit. And the way you just want to experience and learning anything and everything you can.

The pet names for Babe/Baby aren’t used. You’re both too mature for that. It feels too…teenager-y to be compared to a pig (Babe the Pig). So you’re content using ‘Darling, love, hon’ for terms of endearment.

You call him Bobby. But only you get to call him Bobby.

A little competition is good between you two. You appreciate that Bob doesn’t let you win simply for being a girl. Bob appreciates that you don’t hold back. You don’t get fiercely competitive but enough to have fun and make it interesting (mini golf etc.)

Bob is all about the sweet little moments. If he walks past you, there’s always a hand that trails over the lower back (kind of like silently saying ‘Hello. I love you.’). He always helps in the kitchen without being asked.

But it’s sweet because he doesn’t always make the first move, but he looks over and gives that little smile that tells you he really wants to do those kitchen kisses couples do in the movies, but he can’t bring himself to do it (too shy or doesn’t want to bother you).

But you know that smile and you’ll look up and smile back. When you don’t drop your gaze, he knows it’s okay to swoop in for a kiss.

Why did he kiss you? Because you’re adorable. And he loves you.

You could be doing the most mundane thing and it’d still be the most attractive thing he’s ever laid his eyes upon.

Picture this: soft evening, your head resting on the back of the couch, your feet in his lap, one hand gently rubbing your foot, the other holding open a book of poetry as he reads from it. Yes, Bob will read you poetry.

I have been having dreams of you, every other day, since I was sixteen. I call you Ani, you tell me of your mother and Tatooine, of your men and your battles, of school and Obi-Wan. I seal up the letter with the photos in it and walk it to the Temple mailbox myself so I can save on postage before heading home for the day.

Anakin receives the letter just a day later, along with a pile of other mail addressed to him from fans around the galaxy. Just as he always does, he opens every single one. Sometimes little kids send him drawings- and he keeps every picture. Every note. It means something to him, whether people realize it or not.

When he reaches your letter, he notes the pretty handwriting on the envelop before carefully opening it and sliding out the paper inside.

"Mr. Skywalker," he breathes a laugh, smiling softly. It's always funny when people call him Mister. Why? He wouldn't even know.

He starts to read through the letter, blinking when he comes upon very personal information. Very personal information... that only the girl in his dreams would know...

"Oh my gods," he murmurs to himself, reading further. It can't be- how is this possible? How are you real-

His breath hitches in his throat at the news of a child. His... child?

He quickly sets the letter down and grabs the photos from the envelope, his eyes widening as he studies the one of you and Luca together.

He's a father. The child in this photo- it might as well be him when he was little, mixed with your features as well.

Anakin gets up from his seat, grabbing the letter now too before starting to pace around the room as he reads the rest of what you wrote.

Even though his legs are weak. Even though he feels like throwing up or dancing around the room or crying or maybe all three.

"O-Our... our son," he whispers, his thumb brushing over Luca's face. "Luca..."

He moves to the balcony for some fresh air, gulping down several breaths worth of the chilly air before moving back inside to his office space.

Once he sets up at his desk, he grabs a fresh piece of paper, addressing an envelope to you before writing a letter in return.
