A/N: This reminds me of some of my moots who do matchmaker asks. I think it's very cute.

Kaeya noticed you looking at him multiple times but you never made the move on him. A damn shame but maybe it wasn't meant to be. Oh, your friend is coming over instead. Ah, so you're a shy one. That's fine with him, he has ways to bring out your wild side. You're so damn embaressed by the time he walks over with two drinks in hand that you down both of them. Luckily he's amused by you so he gives you a chance too talk to him, as he thought, you're very cute.

Childe goes and talks to you the moment your friend points you out. If you have something to say to him then say it to his face, don't send your friend over to do the work for you. It was cute that you even wanted to talk to him but if he's gonna be flirted with then it needs to be very direct or else he'll lose interest fast. So go ahead, hit him with your best line, and if he like it he might even take you home for the night.

Tighnari didn't get why you wouldn't just talk to him yourself but he's willing to hear your friend out. He had no idea you liked him back... eh, he probably should have said that to you first not your friend but at least your friend knows they made the right call. Now all that is left is for him to get a hold of himself and go ask you out. His tail and ears can't stop moving, his nerves making his hand shake as he extends it to you and introduces himself properly for the first time.

Wriothesley mostly looks for a short but fun time. He saw you in the tavern, he's got his eye on you and no one else. The moment your friend talks to him, just a few words he misunderstand and tells them he's not interested, bypasses them and walks to your table, sits down and starts complimenting you. He makes sure you know his intentions before he takes this further, he would never string you along.

Zhongli never experianced matchmaking before. While he heard of it he always assumed it was done as a joke, yet here your friends was, trying to set you up with him. He saw through that right away, being the god of contracts and money he knows when someone's trying to convince him of something of value. And you absolutely have value in his eyes, moreover you appear to shine, to allure him to you. Now that you've got his full attention, please let him figure out what makes you so special.

Actually, Cross did nothing wrong (ówò) He just mistakes Dream's orientation for not wanting to share a bed with him (since for Cross, no attraction meant no love, while Dream loves without it), and asks if he's doomed to sleep on the couch from now on :')

The Peppermint song itself has no clear meaning: it may be either a discord between lovers/spouses or even a cute, humorous conversation instead (since you can hear laughter at the end) (*´∀｀*) You can also find many different theories in the comments there! ☆

In this case, a "peppermint" is what Dream asks for since he doesn't have it and doesn't know about, he's simply curious about it, and Cross can satisfy his curiosity.

But turns out that it's too hot much for Dream, he's not ready, so he spits the candy out (rejects him). That's what may be unexpected and even insulting — a shattered candy is a moment of misunderstanding.

A wrapper with no candy is Dream's asexuality he doesn't know about, and he can't explain himself better (ending up with a "No" pillow), that's what confuses Cross and makes him feel unloved by his own husband ("ó3ò)

So Dream's "I don't know" (not answering) is literal: yes, a peppermint sounded nice, but it tastes bad to me, so why should I like it anyway? It's not your fault, so why are you upset if I still love you?

This story is just the answer to what Dream loves more, and the answer is obvious (⸝⸝´꒳`⸝⸝) The other question is what he's willing to do for his beloved one, whether he puts the happiness of others above his own like Dream, or chooses himself and his own comfort like Shattered.

There's an open ending here, but I can assure you that there's nothing bad here╰(*´︶`*)╯The pillow says that they will most likely be "punished" to sleep on the couch together XD ;)

The interesting thing I learned while working on it is that the type of the ace cards matters as well, so Dream's would be the ace of diamonds *^*

The kid you're baby-sitting impatiently tugs at your hand, willing you to walk faster.

"I want to go see the seals now, pleaseeee!"

"But we already visited them yesterday.", you protest weakly, already knowing the little girl by your side couldn't care less about that fact anyways.

So seals it is.

It's a pretty long walk until the both of you arrive at the longed for enclosure, but you manage to just in time to see a young man arrive with lots of fish in a bucket.

You don't pay him much mind at first, instead mentally preparing for the excited squeals and tiredless recounting of seal facts that will be unleashed upon you in less than a few seconds.

"Look, he's very cute!", is what you hear instead.

"Oh yes sweetie, they're the cutest."

Absentmindedly you misunderstand at first, too caught up with discreetly checking your phone for the time.

"Not the seals!!!", the girl insists loudly, shaking your arm, forcing your attention back to her.

Then she points out, "That zookeeper!"

Horrified you lurch forward to drag her arm down to your side. "Pschhhhhh!"

"Can we go and say hi?", she asks completely ignoring your efforts to keep her manners in check.

"See, he's already looking our way too!"

Before you can protest she has escaped your grip and hurtles away towards the man, waving wildly.

Expecting the worst you immediately charge after her, catching up to the pair dizzy with embarrassment and out of breath, already formulating an apology in your head.

Accordingly you are rather surprised when you're greeted with a friendly laugh instead of a reprimand for disturbing a strangers work.

If you're not mistaken, the slight lack of oxygen not playing a trick on you, there is a soft shade of pink coloring the pretty man's cheeks when he reaches out to shake your hand.

♡ Eliza loves physical affection to an extreme, she always has to be touching you somehow, hand holding will cut it from short periods of time but what she really wants is to hold onto you tightly or even carry you around like her little baby if you would let her. She also shows how much she loves you by how her tail is wagging constantly in your presence. If you need further proof of her affection she'd be more than happy to lick your face all over and make extra sure to growl at everyone who gets even slightly close to you. ♡

♡ Blood: How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling? ♡

♡ She's very messy when it comes to her darling, she rips out throats of people who flirt with you on the streets and eats them simply because she believes it'll show you what a loyal doggy she is for you. It sadly freaks you out but she had very good intentions behind it! She can also have a little more tact with it though if you prefer, she'll ask special permission to go in the forest and hunt deer since the forest is only dangerous if you lack permission. She'll carry a whole bear carcass to your front door if that's what it takes for you to know how much she's willing to do for you. ♡

♡ Cruelty: How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them? ♡

♡ She's sweet once she has you and is constantly coddling you. You love her and she loves you so even when you protest she just believes maybe you're a bit timid. You're such a silly mate, don't you worry if you struggle to be affectionate then she'll be affectionate enough for the both of you. It might seem like she's mocking you when she coos at you, saying how cute your protests are but she doesn't actually mean any harm by it, she really just thinks you're cute, she not trying to upset you or anything, puppy! ♡

♡ Darling: Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will? ♡

♡ She's all over you constantly and while she likely wouldn't force herself on you aggressively she gets a bit pushy when she wants to be with her mate, grabbing at your clothing saying she just wants to cuddle skin to skin and of course if that leads to more then she's no opposed which obviously mean more is likely to happen at that point. You can stop her but you have to be very firm about it, call her a bad girl and explain that you aren't ready for that yet and she'll let up though she'll be very sad about it. ♡

♡ Exposed: How much of their heart do they bare to their darling? How vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling? ♡

♡ She has nothing to hide ever, she's open to everyone so if she's upset you'll know it, if she's happy she'll tell you though you'll likely misinterpret it since she's very scary looking. If you ask how she's feeling she'll tell you point blank though her wording might be awkward or scarily blunt but she's not lying when she says she just wants to be your good loyal puppy and start a family with you. ♡

♡ Fight: How would they feel if their darling fought back? ♡

♡ She's a bit delusional so it depends on the level of fighting back. She'll try at first to believe you're just silly or confused but eventually she'll have to realize you actually want to leave her and after that she's very confused. Has she not shown that she cherishes you? She promises she's not a threat to you, she doesn't understand how this misunderstanding but she's going to do her best to clear it up which honestly probably just makes it worse. ♡

♡ Game: Is this a game to them? How much would they enjoy watching their darling try to escape? ♡

♡ She doesn't enjoy it unless she's completely sure you want her to chase you, in which case she's thrilled. Once she gets you back to her pack she's going to want to chase you through the forest just as a form of affection, it's common to show your mate that you have the self restraint to chase them but not hurt them like their instincts tell them to do with most targets but when chasing you mate your instincts tell you to do something completely different. ♡

♡ Hell: What would be their darling’s worst experience with them? ♡

♡ Your worst experience is watching her tear someone's throat out in front of you for daring to ask you out. She bites it out and starts to consume their flesh which causes every other supernatural to flee the area leaving just you and her. She only stops when she hears you cry and starts to smell your tears. She starts to whimper and rushes towards you soaked in blood while you're shaking and trying to get away from her. She's devastated cause she doesn't know what upset you, you must be very fragile but she can't understand why you're afraid of her, she would never do this to you, you have to know that right?! Please don't cry, she won't do it in front of you again. ♡

♡ Ideals: What kind of future do they have in mind for/with their darling? ♡

♡ She wants to take you back to her pack with her once she finishes her training and have pups with you if you'll let her. She'll do the majority of the work she promises, just please have pups with her, she'll do anything for you to make sure you're ready to have them, you can even have your own private hobby area if you need time away though she would prefer you spend time with the children but if you decide to neglect them then she'll just blame herself for forcing you into having kids in the first place. ♡

♡ Jealousy: Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope? ♡

♡ She doesn't get jealous, she gets territorial is what she says. Jealousy is for when someone has something she wants but you're her mate so she clearly already has you doesn't she so therefore there wouldn't be a single reason to get jealous. She's not lashing out, she's just defending her claim on you, why would she cope when she's in the right, you're hers, these are the rules in both her pack and the city so she must clearly be right! ♡

♡ Kisses: How do they act around or with their darling? ♡

♡ She's very affectionate and is always trying to make you smile since you always seem to be spooked or startled when you see her. It's best she just stay by your side because every time she comes up next to you you get scared, you must just be extra susceptible to jumpscares so she shouldn't wander away from your side for a single moment so that way there's less chance she'll appear too quickly and scare you since she was already there! ♡

♡ Love letters: How would they go about courting or approaching their darling? ♡

♡ As soon as she smells you she rushes to find you with her teeth bared warning everyone else around to stay far away from you. After that she tries to remain light hearted since you always seem tense around her. She brings you little gifts constantly until she's able to convince you to move in with her, she knows her place isn't as nice as other officials but it's still a pretty decent place and plus it smells like her and who wouldn't want to be engulfed in their mates scents? ♡

♡ Mask: Are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else? ♡

♡ Her true colors are very sweet and loyal, though she seems like a heartless vicious monster to everyone else, she really isn't killing and eating people for no reason, they're always either after her mate or intruding on her territory so it's only for good reasons! She's a very sweet doggy and very friendly as long as people don't come too close to her mate. You can even have friends as long as they back away the moment she starts to growl. ♡

♡ Naughty: How would they punish their darling? ♡

♡ She wouldn't punish you at all, she loves you so much, she is a bit aggressive when she needs to scold you on occasion, it's usually when you did something she considered dangerous, she'll nip at your neck and whine at how you worried you so much, please puppy, don't scare her like this. She cries and guilt trips you as a punishment because even if you can't care about your own safety please care about how she feels! ♡

♡ You lose the right to privacy with her constantly breathing down your neck and constantly attaching herself to you. She's very cute so maybe you won't mind it as much but it's very annoying when she lets out a little whimper because you wouldn't let her follow you into the bathroom to be close to you. Please leave the door open just a crack, she hates not being in the same room with you or when you're blocked off from her, please? ♡

♡ She's not impatient but she's not patient either. When you're trying to make a decision about whether or not to allow her to come see your friends with you, she's already in the car waiting for you, you were going to say yes anyways so what's the problem with her being overexcited to come with you. Any time you're trying to think things through or deciding how to let her down gently, she's already decided her answer was yes. She doesn't blow up if you say no though or the relationship is progressing slower than she wants, she's just overexcited for everything is all. ♡

♡ Quit: If their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on? ♡

♡ She'd curl up at your side and die as well. If you leave or escape though then she'll spend forever tracking you down, only stopping on the day she feels you die because she dies as well, whimpering because she's so far away from your body. ♡

♡ Regret: Would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling? Would they ever let their darling go? ♡

♡ She feels guilt that you're afraid of her as she has not done enough to prove herself harmless yet. It's her fault that you view this as abduction so she needs to show that she's your mate, not your captor. She won't let you go per say but she might loosen her grip and not force you to be super close to her every time you're in the apartment until you feel acclimated and when you're back in her pack she'll allow you to wander more and try her hardest not to get sad you don't want to be with her all the time. ♡

♡ Stigma: What brought about this side of them (childhood, curiosity, etc)? ♡

♡ Being a werewolf gave her a naturally very loyal personality and being the future leader makes her have more of an aggressive personality which manifests in aggressive affection most of the time. Plus with her darling being her mate it means that all the aggressive affection was ust automatically going to onload on you. She doesn't know where the strong drive to start a family came from though since it's not actually a super typical werewolf trait, att least not to the extent that she wants it. ♡

♡ Tears: How do they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry, and/or isolate themselves? ♡

♡ She's whining at your side, shifted to comfort you with her soft fur but that only makes you more scared. She really doesn't know what else to do other then maybe offer to give you pups so you'll be happier since your children will obviously be cute right? A family of your own might make you happy! Want to give it a try? ♡

♡ Unique: Would they do anything different from the classic yandere? ♡

♡ She's not as trigger happy when it comes to killing, she won't kill someone just because they spoke to you, she kills if they get too close to you with intentions she doesn't like or if they flirt with you but she's not going to just kill all your friends simply because you laughed at their joke, she might growl and make them leave but not kill them. ♡

♡ Vice: What weakness can their darling exploit in order to escape? ♡

♡ She's dumb and delusional so as long as you leave before she realizes you're actually running away and not just hiding, you'll be good. She tends to get over cocky with her nose too so wearing things to hide your scent makes it easier. Your best chance is to leave in her pack though because the city has a barrier so she'll find you quick there as long as she keeps looking. ♡

♡ Wit’s end: Would they ever hurt their darling? ♡

♡ Only on accident with her intense strength and overeagerness to be close to you. She'll whine when she does it though, if you pull away not realizing how tight her grip on your arm is, she'll whine when she sees the slash marks. She hates that when she hurts you by mistake and it rarely happens since she's usually in very good control of her strength but it can happen on occasion. ♡

♡ Xoanon: How much would they revere or worship their darling? To what length would they go to win their darling over? ♡

♡ She's not really as much of a worshipper yandere, she adores you and always wants to be at your side but you're not otherworldly to her or something so above her than she must not touch, in fact she touches you quite often. She'll do her best to win you over with her werewolf charm though, anything she can do will be done for you which mostly boils down to murder for your affection. Once you have children with her then she does revere you as above her. ♡

♡ Yearn: How long do they pine after their darling before they snap ♡

♡ She doesn't pine at all, the moment she sniffs you you're her mate and she will make it obvious to everyone around that you're hers. She won't really ever snap unless you break through her delusionality. If you make her wait too long to move in though then she might get just a little bit aggressive just trying to give you a gentle push in the right direction. She doesn't really mean it to be harmful or threatening, she thinks she's being nice and you just need a push but it sure seems aggressive when she's nipping at your throat asking your thoughts about living with her soon.

♡ Zenith: Would they ever break their darling? ♡

♡ She likely wouldn't, if she even thought you were depressed or off somehow she would drop everything and take you back to her pack with her. There's no way you can be sad when you're surrounded by her family who are all in wolf form to help her comfort her sad mate. If that doesn't help maybe having some pups of your own will soothe you! Either way she will do her best to get you back to normal! ♡

Programming? Cultivation? A pretty man with long hair? Fucking swipe my card— wait, I don't own a card... Anyways, you get my point!

This novel, C Language Cultivation, had all the possible elements to make it into the top of my favourite novels. Did it achieve it? Well, fellas, it is in the post for something!

Believe me, for a moment, I was crazy enough to think that studying Computer Science because of this book was a good idea of a degree (it is, but Angie is a literature girl), so Imagine how good it is.

If you're done with slow burn (I'm never done with slow burn, but there are times when I appreciate a couple who gets straight to the point), read C Language Cultivation! Dong Jun and Lin Xun had THEE tension going on from the moment they've met, and I was screaming with every single interaction.

I believe this novel had one of the best plot twists I've read in my entire life (and I've been reading since I was 10, guys, 10 years old!). I was literally staring into the wall, trying to process what I've just read. I still can't believe how it fucking played with me.

Alas, Dong Jun and I share birthdays! Do you need another reason to start reading it, like, mmm, NOW?

🎋 —Beyond The Outline.

Grab yourself to something because this is the second, THE SECOND novel with almost no angst (there are sad moments, but it's mostly cute) that I ranked as a five starts book. The author? Obviously, Mu Gua Huang.

You see, guys, Mu Gua Huang makes me love happiness and to be quite addicted to it. Once I started this novel, I would keep reading it until 5 a.m., and it was worth it!

Beyond The Outline has a precious message behind the hilarious and mysterious situation where two high school students, completely opposite from each other, switch bodies after being hit by lightning. I was this emoji 🥺 all the time.

I love this couple. Shao Zhan 🤧, look, I don't mean to spoil you, but he does something that I was like, “No man will do this for me never. He's the last romantic.” He's the best boy and the best boyfriend. If someone hates him, they seriously need some help.

🎋 —Alpha Predator.

Some of you may say, “Angie, didn't you review this novel before?” And I will do it again.

Alpha Predator is the last novel of the 188男团 (if you don't know, basically, the gongs are all 188 and scummy) and the best I've read from Suida. This book basically fell from the sky for me. I was on a reading block (is that the right term in English?) and needed something that made me retake my usual reading rhythm. May I aggregate that this has been the best novel I read in 2023 by so far? It is.

As the title suggests, Alpha Predator is an ABO world where rank plays an important role in society. The ML and scummy gong (mi bebé solo estaba jugando) is an S class Alpha, which means he is the one on top of the pyramid. I love Qu Moyu, and I am willing to defend him with my life. I accept that I tweeted that he was a stupid Alpha, but we all make mistakes, hahaha.

I love QuShen. 💜 They are my favourite 188 couple, and the best, in my not so humble opinion. They admire each other, and they come to love each other despite all the misunderstandings, and that makes me 🤧.

If you like scummy gongs and trust my taste, give it a try!

What do we have here? My last reading, the best crime book, and the novel that made me couldn't look my chemistry teacher straight in the eye! The last point is kind of a long story that I'll tell you some other day.

Anyways, who are these sexy gentlemen? I'll introduce you to Yan Xie and Jiang Ting, the protagonists and couple of Po Yun!

I have great memories of reading this novel. I remember sending voice messages to one of my friends about this book: “Girl, you wouldn't believe what just happened...” Dalia and I agree that this is an amazing book.

I also found it quite realistic in the aspect of how much can drugs fuck up someone's life. I won't elaborate on this because it's spoiler, but you will piece a lot of things once you know about a certain character past.

As for the romance, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, WHY THE FUCK I WASN'T IN THAT WEDDING. I WOULD HAVE CRIED WHILE DRINKING EXPENSIVE WINE (I don't even like wine). They're HOT and they LOVE each other.

Look, maybe I wouldn't have dropped out of law school if it were as entertaining as this novel, but it wasn't in my case. Putting that new fun fact about me aside, welcome to First-Class Lawyer by Mu Su Li.

This novel is set in a futuristic environment, so Yan Suizhi and Gu Yan are not just lawyers but interstellar lawyers. Amazing, isn't it? The mystery involves the other planets, so you'll see them space-travelling to find out the truth. And if that didn't sell you, Yan Suizhi is “dead.” Yup, our main character was awakened from death and put in another body in the first chapter. As the critics (me) say, “You know the book is good when the author kills the protagonist in the first page.”

The couple, aw. Imagine having someone you could tell anything, it doesn't matter how insignificant it is, and that they listen to you and that they love you so much —that's Gu Yan and Yan Suizhi. They're also teacher × student, from those who like that kind of dynamic!

As I told you in the beginning, this is written by Mu Su Li, author of QQGK, which means it is freaking good!

I don't know who you are, so I cannot give you credit, but Our Lord Voldemort and Saviour is not only now mineTM but also the title of a future fic. I will make it the title of a future fic. It's possibly the best thing I've ever heard.

A bit of a kleptomaniac (I think this is canon, actually). He wills himself to stop, but the urge to take take take still remains strong in him. He steals at Wools, he steals at Hogwarts from the purses of boys too rich to notice, he steals ancient artefacts around the world in his travels, he steals other people's wives (yes, yours, Rod).

He wasn't well-liked initially at Hogwarts (poor mudbloods usually aren't) and graduated as the most popular boy in Slytherin. He managed to master the perfect, intoxicating, charismatic personality that allowed him to rule his first followers by both fear and love; he would shed the latter when he switched to Death Eaters.

Inferiority Complex the size of the sun (this is also canon); the same can be said for his Superiority Complex.

He doesn't really believe in pureblood superiority. Of course, he despises Muggles and Mudbloods, but he doesn't do it for blood, he does what he does for power. Anyone who says differently fundamentally misunderstands his character. There is no one in his life he doesn't see as a tool or a pawn. He is fond of people but it will never be unconditional. This is also a dealbreaker in reading about him: when he does something that goes against his best interests for someone else it immediately screams OOC.

Following this point, my headcanon is that he murdered most of his former classmates. They all die suspiciously young, and the closer they were to him, the earlier they were offed. This is what happened to Rodolphus and Rabastan's father (they were none the wiser), Evan Rosier's uncle (he wasn't either), Orion Black (who already had one foot in the grave after Reggie's death) and many many more.

The wizard closest to him in his later years (the beginning of the First Wizarding War) and right-hand man was Antonin Dolohov, the only one who was there for part of his travels and who he met in Eastern Europe. He was already Lord Voldemort then.

This title was later snatched by Bellatrix Black Lestrange, the only true Dark Arts protégée he ever had.

However, he did enjoy teaching. He had various pupils, during the years, to whom he taught something of his own. Especially during the last years of the First War, he grew close to his younger recruits. People who, like him, were hungry and misunderstood and had a rawness that his pampered, aristocratic “friends” had never possessed.

Where did he go during his travels? Where didn't he go during his travels. Anything written by @ meanwhiletimely's Vagaries and Vagrants is canon to me, but also: Italy, Egypt, Russia, Greece, Persia, Germany, and many more. He wreaked havoc everywhere (I have a cute little story in the works). He fled before they could get to him, but he is effectively banned from a dozen countries.

I, for one, am not a believer in the Lestranges' divorce in a hypothetical Voldemort!wins AU. He wouldn't marry Bellatrix ever, he also wouldn't want her to divorce Rodolphus, because having Madame Lestrange is far more appealing to him than having Miss Black. With the former, he is taking away what is someone else's. It's just better that way.

Is he straight, gay, bi? Ace? I used to see him as ace, actually. But then someone pointed out to me this enlightening quote: “Everything in the world is about sex, except sex. Every time I rewatch some episode of Boueibu HK I wonder again how the staff even planned this season. Like. Almost nothing meaningful happens with the characters

TLDR the characters with the most developement in HK are the monsters

Kyoutarou is there as a complete contrast to Yumoto while keeping the battle speeches so his characterization doesn't make much sense. Nanao is mere fujoshi bait. Taiju and Taishi have random bits of dialogue that hint at possible arcs for s2 but not enough to tell us what it really is. Maasa has an unfinished arc in his episode, where supposedly he's putting fatty butter in his cookies to make everyone else overweight because he resents Ichiro not defending him when they were little, but then his friends tell him it's fine and then he can move on??? This would work with Ichiro's theme of not wanting to be immature or dense anymore, except they only ever used this theme as a gag (misunderstanding the meaning of whatever the others have said) or to straight up humilliate him (ep4) and continue treating him like a stupid baby. At the end of the season Maasa and him have made peace somehow and that's it. Ata gets in my opinion the closest thing to a complete arc, even if it's just staring angrily at Kyoutarou for ten episodes, then explaining his problem while fighting him and finally getting his apology and reconcilliation. At least it's something. And poor Ryouma is just there to be the butt of a few jokes about how he lets Nanao and Kyoutarou use him, be in a couple of cute shippy scenes, and also for Ata to completely dismiss him from the flashbacks to the point where if they had first met in high school nothing would've changed.

The relationships barely have developement either. Love had anime episodes and manga chapters dedicated to the different close friendships solving their conflicts and becoming closer. There were also many instances of seeing how close the Hakone brothers-defense club and Beppu brothers' relationships were, and even though they didn't have any conflict between themselves, they made them strong sides for the final fight. Yumoto didn't get a character arc but through the entire anime he was revealed to be strong, considerate, forgiving and mature, willing to kindly befriend the Beppu twins for his brother but not let them walk all over him; contrary to how he was presented in the first episodes, like a stereotypical magical girl protagonist. Anyway in HK there's no meaningful conflict between any of them besides Kyoutarou and Ata. Taishi and Ichiro argue constantly but don't show to genuinely like each other after all like IoRyuu or EnAtsu did. Ichiro and Maasa never make any progress to be together again, Maasa hints once at liking Taishi and nothing comes from it, and Nanao and Taiju have the most artificial friendship in the cast that I just do not understand. They just ran an ice cream shop once with again unexplained success and make sassy remarks at each other ever since. And I guess Karurusu and Furanui had a bit of developement thanks to Kyou and Ata in ep12. Idk about the aliens, this time it's like they didn't do it completely well but also not as bad as with the rest of the cast. Maybe bc they didn't appear as much as the humans in most of the episodes

I'm realizing now that a few of these complaints are related to Nanao acting weird

Idk where to put this but I'd like to point out Kinshiro's principles of halting the fight with the Battle Lovers as soon as he finds out that the s1 conflict was set up for a reality show and actively defending them from an attack because they're Binan students, despite still not having received his apology from Atsushi. Ata might've done the same if the HK finale's events had gone in the same order (travelling to Honyalaland to fight Wao, then Kyoutarou apologizing to Ata), but he doesn't feel as a character as deep as Kinshiro in that sense bc they didn't really show him to be in other ways.

Love feels more like an actual group of people while HK feels like they were filling in friendship group roles or something

So loyal but yet kind of awkward trying too make small talk enjoyable while also not sounding too awkward or weird loll plus he’s very flexible when it came too making plans too hangout he really didn’t care or didn’t make too much of a fuss about what , when and where they were going too hangout. Plus since mars is the planet of (drive , sexual energy and how we assert ourselves) Daniel is definitely driven by his desire too stand up for himself and fight back or learn how to do karate , he never gives up no matter how mad or tough things got always tried too seem content or not bothered like most Pisces loll. I think he’s not too much of a possessive person but he got jealous real quickly and stayed loyal to alli no mater what even too the extent of letting her use his car. Plus he’s very lowkey when it came too dating he usually went with the flow and made the best out of it especially when he went out dancing with kumiko in karate kid 2, but he also doesn’t like too much noise or much of a busy environment he values his peace and quiet and alone time with you , plus he does unexpected gestures and would do anything for any of the girls he was with throughout the karate kid trilogy which we love he definitely is the type too pick you up something you like from the store just out of love🖤.

Don’t mind me, just combing this TDP trailer for crumbs of ghosts of evidence that there might be some pushback on the Protagonist-Centered Morality of the first three seasons

Here, Ezran is admitting he was wrong — and very obviously so — about something, though it’s not clear what.  Maybe it’s in reference to the next line about everyone wanting peace and love, which would imply that he’s walking back a personal belief or political assumption that Certain People are just inherently Evil and Unloving and only oppose the protagonists’ agenda because they’re Irrational Warmongers.  Alternatively, this voiceover is cut misleadingly and the context for this line is totally different.

Someone put a hole through this season 3 promo art commemorative painting, possibly as an act of protest; I can’t imagine holding this reconciliation ceremony in the Valley of Graves where Harrow was probably buried (after, ya know, he was assassinated on Zubeia’s orders) would be a universally popular decision.  If Ezran’s responding to the unrest here with a “can’t we all just get along?” speeches that miraculously ends with the angry protestors backing down in the face of his moderate wisdom, I admit I’ll be disappointed but not surprised.  Still, I think it's a good sign, from a framing/symbolism perpective, that the hole in the painting is through Zubeia, not Ezran or Zym.  TDP’s go-to method for discrediting antagonists is to frame them primarily as extremists who are willing and eager to hurt innocents, particularly cute kids/animals, so the fact that they didn’t grab that low-hanging fruit here is a bit encouraging.

It’s also interesting to see the escalation of ritual violence from the Sunfire elves, now against a human woman whose hands are already injured — my guess is that they were “corrupted” with Dark Magic and she’s been “purified” with the same torture Viren was subjected to, finally brought to its shocking completion here with an amputation.  I’ll always have mixed feelings about the Sunfire elves, because on one hand they provide an important point of reference for what reactionary violence against Dark Mages/humans looks like, but on the other hand they’re the one elf group that the creators chose to code as African (with a smattering of Mesoamerican coding, too, because why not) and it feels a little slimy to even acknowledge that they’re the most openly bigoted elves with the most openly bigoted dragon mascot.  But hey, that’s Teedeepee for ya.  Will Amaya and Janai’s romance survive this wAckY cultural misunderstanding, or is True Love no match for deeply xenophobic in-laws?  Find out in season 4!

Okay, but Hunter escaping Belos earlier with Luz and staying at Eda's, going to school and everything (perhaps under a different name? Idk) and meets Edric while Luz is showing him around. Ed gets kinda interested in Hunter imidiately and tries to act flirty and teasing, but Hunter mistake it as Ed making fun of him and gets offended/hurt. Disaster misunderstanding first meeting, followed by a lot of shenanigans afterward when Ed struggles to make up for it and Hunter being his precious awkward self, all of which eventually turns into an awesome friendship/crush, with Luz and Em playing wingwomen for them (creating even more shenanigans, but also a lot of fluff)

A second version would be Hunter sneaking away from the castle to keep meeting up with Willow after the ASIAS episode, meeting Edric during one of those visits. It could go similar to the hc above ir they could kinda hit it off quickly, spending time together and texting each other. It would be cute and a comfort during the hard times at their homes. Then Canon would catch up with Hunter learning the truth and hiding away from Belos, eventually founding himself back at the school and helping them fight back against the attack. Thus Ed and Hunter are reunited and Ed is probably feeling a little more protective over Hunter when learning more about his horrible home life.

I like the first version. It sounds cute and it could also work if Hunter had taken Amity's hand back in the episode "Eclipse Lake" and Amity took Hunter back to The Owl House where he started living with Luz after Amity had explained to her and Eda about what had happened there.

For the second version, I thought that it was established in the end of that episode that Willow as well as the rest of the members of the Emerald Entrails didn't forgive Hunter for the part that he played in them getting captured, at least not at that moment since they were still feeling betrayed and hurt by what he did. So, maybe in an alternate reality where Hunter calls Darius before he got there to tell him that he changed his mind about the recruits after he got to really bond with them and seeing how much their palismans mean to them which he knows that Belos will take them, and it would be very hypocritical of him to make them get rid of their palismans when he can't even bear the thought of giving Belos Flapjack. He would still tell them his real name and that he's the Golden Guard but, with Flapjack's help, tells them that he really enjoyed hanging out with them and if they're willing, he'd like to hang out with them again. Naturally, Willow, Gus, Skara and Viney would be a little hesitant considering Hunter does work for Belos who they don't like at all, but they decide to give him a chance and maybe with time, they can convince Hunter that Belos isn't as great as he says he is like Luz did for them.

Also, Darius might have overheard Hunter talking to Flapjack about his lie to Darius, would come out behind him which scared Hunter really bad, and then we get the same ending as that episode.

Afterwards Hunter would go to meet up with Williow, Gus and the other members of the Emerald Entrails so they would hang out. For one of those visits/hangouts, Viney would bring the Blight Twins which the Blight boy and Hunter get along pretty well. To the point where Hunter starts hanging out with him separately from the rest of the group and talk to him most of the time on Pinstagram. Edric would also talk to Hunter about how his mother treats him and his sisters which Hunter would (not so) strangely relate to but wouldn't tell him anything about how Belos treats him when no one is around.

Then Hallow Mind happens, Hunter gets a panic attack and runs out of the Owl House which really worries Luz so, already knowing about Hunter's close relationship with the Emerald Entrails and the Blight Twins, she texts the EE member and the Blight twins in a group chat about Hunter running from the Owl House into the woods which they would all respond that they be on the lookout for him as well as let her know if they find him.

Then one day while Gus is at school, he spots a red cardinal that he recognizes as Flapjack taking a thrown away sandwich and flying off with it, which Gus follows the bird to find Hunter who immediately tries to hide the real reason why he is here, still haven't completely taken in what he saw in Belos's mindscape. Similar to canon, Gus gives Hunter his lunch, but Gus is a lot more concerned for Hunter and tells him that after class, they'll talk more about what is going on with the other Emerald Entrail members which Hunter hesitantly agrees to. Then when the coven scout tries to secretly give coven sigils to the students and Edric is the first unknowing participant. Edric gets magical tug by some unknown witch’s yellow colored magic that pulls him away from the coven scout before they grabbed his wrist and afterwards Gus reveals what the coven scouts were trying to do.

Once Hunter meets up with the students in the medical wing(?), Edric is the first to notice him and immediately gets up to hug him, happy to know that he's alright, before Em tells him to sit still so she can heal his wounds. When Principal Bump and the other students as well as staff interrogate Hunter about where Gus is and don't show any signs of believing that he is telling the truth when he says that Gus was just with him, the remaining members of the EE and the Blight twins quickly come to his defends. Edric even tells them that Hunter had to have been the one who got him out of the way when the coven scout was trying to put the force the coven sigil on him which everyone either in shocked or were very skeptical about Ed's claim until Hunter (using Flapjack in his staff mode) uses magic to lift a box of medical supplies, showing that his magic had that same yellow coloring as the magic that pulled Edric away from the coven scout before stating that he overheard their plan and just couldn't bring himself to just do nothing while blushing shyly which made Edric blush a little as Willow, Skara, Viney and Emira were all giving each other knowing glances.

I also like to think that during the fight, Hunter notices a coven scout was about to grab Edric from behind and gets Ed out of the way before giving the scout a hard kick to the face which dazes them. Hunter quickly asks Edric if he's alright and Ed (after snapping himself out of his daze from being rescued by his crush) tells Hunter that he's fine thanks to him but that they should talk after the fight is over which Hunter agrees to.

After the fight is over, Edric is the first to immediately go to Hunter and hugs him, stating that he's really happy to see that he's alright which makes the blonde blush as he returns the hug while smiling. Once Edric breaks the hug, he starts asking Hunter questions about what happened with Belos that made him run from the Owl House and had Luz so worried about him that she texted him, Em and the EE. Hunter, after taking a deep breath, tells him as well as everyone else about real reason for the Day of Unity and about Belos's plans for the Demon realm's witchy inhabitance. He also separately tells Edric bits and pieces about what else he saw in Belos's mindscape and that if he goes back to the castle, Belos will do something awful to him since Belos knows that he was in his mindscape. Seeing Hunter's shaken state, Edric comforts Hunter and tells the blonde that he'll make sure Belos won't ever hurt him again.

When Luz is talking to Amity in the balcony scene (you know the one ;) ), Hunter goes to talk to Edric who is very happy to see the blonde. Hunter pretty much tells him about their plans to stop Belos which Edric insists on going too, not wanting anything to happen to Hunter. Hunter tries to convince Edric that he should stay away where it's safer for him but knows that when Ed has something in mind, he'll stubbornly follow it no matter what. So, he agrees to having Edric and Emira come with them when they confront their mom and try to stop the Draining Spell (which is what I wished had happened with the twins *sighs* but you know). Edric, happy that he's coming along to help and without thinking, gives Hunter a forehead kiss which makes the blonde's face get so red and so warm that you could practically see steam coming off of his face. Edric, upon realizing what he just did, tries to apologize to Hunter about kissing him on the forehead while Hunter reassures him that it's fine, the two of them blushing bright red.

When the Draining Spell got started and all of the coven members are being drained of their magic, Amity goes to her dad after Alador falls thanks to the Draining Spell making him weaker while Hunter goes to Darius who is laying on the ground, trying to see if he's alright. Emira goes to Amity while Edric goes to Hunter, telling them that they should go try to stop the Draining Spell while they stay here to see if they can help the people who are being drained. Amity nods and goes to find Luz while Hunter has a harder time leaving Darius until Edric reassures him that he's not going to let anything happen to Darius. Hunter nods and promises him that Ed will be the first person that he looks for once this is all over before leaving a blushing Edric yelling out that he'll holding him to it.

Read Up

They hear him coming, despite his best attempts to sneak up on them. The library is silent and empty, save for them and the night shift work-studies librarian napping in the archival room. 

His footsteps aren’t loud, but the steady sound of heavy boots on the old carpet are recognizable enough to be a tell.

The hands that fold over their eyes are cold— not worryingly so, just sort of clammy— and the studded bracelet that brushes their cheek would have given him away if his footsteps hadn’t. 

“Guess who,” he singsongs.

“Hi, Colton,” they chuckle.

They’d met Cole through Kacie, the latter having run into them on campus; tapping lightly on the cover of their copy of The Raw Shark Texts, then striking up a conversation about it. One conversation turned to more as they ran into one another between classes, in the library and in student services, then to getting coffee together at the half-decent café just a block or so down from campus and discussing more than literature. Cole had, at some point, joined those discussions. Dolly can’t recall when or how, just that the blond had appeared and made himself comfortable. He obviously already knew Kacie, seemed to have for some time, and had no problem picking up topics with them where his friend had left off. 

The pair of them seems to do a lot of things that way; one starts and the other finishes.

It’s cute. Enviable, really. 

He pulls his hands away as they crane their neck back to look, and they’re greeted by him blinking down at them, close enough to notice just how long his pale lashes were. The freckles on his cheeks. That he’d traded septum rings with Kacie since the last time they’d seen him, or else had one that matched theirs.

“Are you busy?” Of course they are. It’s the end if the semester and graduate studies are no joke. NASA didn’t take just anyone, and they needed this paper to be as good as it could be, not for the grade but to prove that they were capable of more than just derivative work. They wouldn’t be hunkered down in a fortress of rodent anatomy textbooks on a Friday night if they weren’t.

That, of course, assumed they didn’t keel over from stress before then.

“I thought you were going to see that girl from the geology department, help her set up for the party,” they deflect. They had time for him. Even if they didn’t, it would be good for them. Human interaction was good; Cole is always fun besides that.

“Party got canned,” he explains, sounding distinctly un-disappointed about the fact. He pulls their chair out just enough to drape himself across their lap, one long leg slung over them as he wedges himself between the old oak table and their body. They glance to the still-empty front desk behind them, then back to him as he lays his arms over their shoulders and around their neck. 

“She got mono,” he explains with a shift of the hips that they’re sure would have been… difficult, to say the least, had they been built differently.

“Which is spread by saliva transfer,” they remind gently. They don’t think he would, he understands Kacie’s limits so well that they struggle to imagine him misunderstanding their own disability, but catching something like that could ruin everything for them. Better to be careful.

“I didn’t kiss her,” he laughs, resting his forehead against theirs, nose close to brush while his fingers play idly with the short hair at the back of their neck. “Somebody else did, and ratted her out when they went to the school clinic about it. Her sorority shuttered the party.”

It was their turn to laugh; a low pitched thing from beneath the lungs that, even coming from themselves, sounded almost comically villainous. 

“So,” he draws the vowel out. “I needed something else to do.” Something they would be perfectly willing to do. 

“And now you’re here.” If only he would ask. They rest their hands on his back, fingers laced politely above the hem of his jeans.

“And now I’m here,” he confirms, the corner of his mouth twitching into a smile.

“You’re here and you want something?” Ever the picture of innocence, Cole shakes his head, sending loose strands of pale hair tumbling over his shoulders.

“Nah.” He smiles. They shake their head and take the opportunity to kiss the man, unhooking their mask from the ear with one finger before leaning in.

His hands, as large as their own but considerably friendlier, curl loosely into the back of their hair. They take the same opportunity to slide their own beneath his worn t-shirt, appreciative of both the lines of his body and the soft sounds he makes when they touch them.

After a moment, satisfied by the lack of reprimand from the person meant to be watching the library at this hour, they pull him closer. Hooking their fingers into the belt loops on either side of his hips and using his wallet chain for better leverage, they pull him near-flush against them. 

“Can you be quiet,” they whisper. His eyes light up.

“Yeah,” he returns with a nod, equally conspiratorial. “I can be, like, so fucking quiet.” 

They bite down a laugh and pop the seatbelt button on his checkerboard belt, followed by the buttons on his fly. There’s a quiet gasp, more of an inhale through the nose really, as they slide his briefs down just enough.

“Cold,” he mumbles in reticent complaint. 

“It’s December,” they inform him unsympathetically, then lean to the side to spit into their palm. 

“And only for a minute,” they add, then take him in hand.

Cole sighs, unmistakably pleased, and leans in further in to rest his head on their shoulder. His warm breath, broken only slightly by his sighs, makes them shiver as it rolls down their collar.

They stroke him to hardness quickly; by the sound of his breathing, the minor shifts of his hips looking for more than they could give him here, they don’t think this will take long at all.

Which means—

He whines when they let go of him. He sits back, a confused sort of pleading in his eyes as he looks for explanation.

“Turn around for me?” He tilts his head.

“Why?”

They gesture to their torso. Specifically their sweater, a soft, plain ochre knit worn beneath a deeper brown blazer. Their shirt, ivory and beige pinstriped silk found at the same local flea market as the rest of the outfit, socks and boxers excluded, completes the ‘self important over-achiever’ image. 

“This is cashmere?” He blinks. 

His eyes fall down to his own body. His used-to-be-black Placebo t-shirt is unraveling at the arms, or where the arms used to be, and his jeans are more hole than denim. They slide their hands down to rest on his bare thighs through the holes.

“Dry clean only,” they offer, careful to keep their tone light. “Unless you feel like paying?”

He shakes his head.

“Do I look like I have money?” Around here? You never know. They are, after all, living off of checks from the state of California and wearing cashmere.

“That’s why you need to turn around.” 

“And the table is better?” They nod.

“The table is easier to clean, should it come to that.”

“Heh,” he gives a little laugh as he flips himself around. “Come.”

Once situated comfortably, legs propped open on either side of their own, he allows himself be leant back against them. They brush along his stomach, careful of his piercing, until they feel him relax, his weight properly leant against them.

“Spit again?” They hold their hand out. He does so immediately, taking their hand and lathing his tongue across the palm. Maybe more so than needed. It can’t hurt him, but walking across campus in spit soaked jeans wasn’t exactly professional. 

Then again, what about what they were doing was?

“This feels, ah,” he takes a breath, “dirtier, somehow.” They hum in consensus, picking up the same rhythm as before. Slow and steady, snug around him.

“Nothing hiding you from someone walking in, no question about what’s going on…” They let his mind fill the rest of the thought and press a kiss to the bare portion of his neck. 

“Anyone could see you like this.” The words make him shiver, fingers digging into the arms of the chair. They only tease because they know he likes it.

Murmuring quiet reminders of where they are, just how public a space it is, into his ear until—

“I—uh, unless you want me to make some,” his breath hitches, “some notations on your stuff, here, you might wanna—“

They press their palm over the tip, rubbing gently as their other hand continues to work him. His hand comes up to cover theirs and they aren’t sure if it’s an effort to assist in not making a mess, or the natural reflex to hold onto something when you’re on the brink of losing control.

Motives disregarded, Cole arches back, head falling onto their shoulder and muffling his sound in the sleeve of his jacket as they work him through his climax.

They stop as he lets out a final, heavy sigh, a signal to stop before the sensation becomes unpleasant. He takes a moment to regain his breath before stretching his legs out and getting to his feet. 

They lean out of the chair to grab the package of antibacterial wipes from their backpack with their un-sticky hand. Once they’re satisfactorily clean, for the moment, they offer the package to Cole, still standing before them.

He shakes his head. His face is flush, eyes dark, and though he’s tucked himself away, he’s left his belt open, pants just barely clinging to his narrow hips.

He looks good. Good enough that even if they possessed the herculean will to remain unaffected by what they’d just done, they would still be considering it.

“You sure you wanna get cleaned up already?” He shifts his weight from foot to foot. Warmed up and ready for more.

They spare a glance to their paper, waiting patiently on the table behind him to be finished. Then to him. 

“Did you have something in mind?”

Gojo’s crush accidentally feeding his delusion when she gave him a bite of her food. That one bite had him making a new daydream of her in a kitchen with cute apron on, making the final touches to his bento just in time for him to receive it before he leaves. Her lightly scolding him to not eat his lunch on his way to work before giving him a kiss goodbye. She gets shy and flustered when she mentions that she made his food in the shape of a heart and hopes he’s not to embarrassed by it, but he assures her he’s not and gives her a final kiss goodbye and leaves the house, thus ending his daydream.

He then asks her if she would mind making a second bento next time, to which she calmly rejects the idea and gets ready to leave. Then bro starts to fumble again but in a less goofy way because he mentions how most girls would kill to make him a bento and see him eat it, she then gives him the “then ask them to make one for you” and goes back to her dorm to eat in peace. I don’t see her being angry with him, just mildly annoyed at the interaction because some dude disrupting your lunchtime and preventing you from eating while you’re already hungry is pretty annoying. But Gojo perceives it as her being absolutely angry with him, just fuming that he had the audacity to mention other women and how they’re willing to do anything for him, and has another delusion/daydream(???) that she got angry with him for comparing her to other women and how she never wants to speak to him again! Now he’s frantically asking Geto and Shoko about stuff you like to try and make it up to you. Bro is having a meltdown while she’s chilling in her room completely unaware of gojo misreading the situation 😭👍🏼

Gojo daydreaming about his crush being his little housewife (help lmao), he's so over in his head at this point. I hope Geto and Shoko helps alter his delusions while taking into account of his crush's real personality as they discuss possible scenarios and what-ifs situations because even though Gojo likes to be spoiled it has to make sense in some way. But of course, she has a sweet side to her that they have yet to see.

Omg, Gojo thinking that he did something to upset his crush will plague his mind the entire day and night. He sulks even more each time she avoids him or ignores him when they cross paths, but in reality Yaga had something to discuss with her or she had an errand which simply means she was busy. It even comes to a point where he can't fall asleep unless he makes things right with her, so he shows up outside her dorm room after two in the morning knocking on her door begging for her forgiveness and to clear the misunderstanding.

She's annoyed and confused to say the least, but ultimately agrees, "Okay, fine. If I forgive you, will you leave me alone so I can go back to sleep?" Gojo's frantically nodding his head while holding back a smile and she goes, "You're forgiven" with a deadpan expression and shuts the door in his face but he'll accept that as a good ending because she's no longer mad at him for what happened during lunchtime.
