general thoughts on the wk “our blue and green world” special (for funsies)

they had me in the beginning, by the end they completely lost me tho lolol

!! SPOILER WARNING FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN’T SEEN THE EPISODE YET !!

things i liked:

the intro was!! very good!! loved how they started in space and then gradually zoomed into earth, that was really fun :D

always excited to see how the background of the final shot changes in these specials !!

right away i am so glad they finally color corrected everything i couldn’t stand how bright everything was in season 6 T_T

chris being able to just effortlessly fold his t-shirts into a stack made me laugh lol

i don’t care if anyone says the song sounded flat as hell. the disbelief i had when it first came on. “what is this music what is goin- IS THIS A SONG??” the pure, unadulterated joy i experienced from it. it may be cringe but it has set me free.

idk. i’m just glad to see all these characters back after the hiatus :D

the resplendent quetzal is!! so cool!! so pretty!! i’d love an episode just dedicated to it

saw someone say this already but common aviva W for inventing two creature power discs at once !! it’s her world we are simply all living in it

i think ever since i’ve gotten past the age of. elementary school. martin’s nicknames for animals have been kind of hit-or-miss for me? (though it might just depend on who’s writing the script i dunno) but i liked kablooey!! (kabluey?) it’s a very cute name :D

zach remembered that he has hacker bots he can use (which are. arguably his best invention?? i’m pretty sure?? i get why they don’t use them every single time zach shows up bc that would get old quickly but it establishes that despite being a whiny man-child who couldn’t tell a walrus from a wombat or a wallaby, he can still be a threat to the wk team)

indri lemur my beloved 🫶🫶

and everyone’s been talking about that so um. let me throw my hat into the ring then.

i can see the intention behind trying to redeem paisley, but it just. doesn’t really match with what’s been established by her character?

the entire special hit me with subsequent punches of “wow this is a kid’s show and i am NOT the target demographic” when they were talking about the water cycle and explaining global warming. so it makes sense, in a sort of wish-fulfillment kind of way that they’d try and redeem the villain whose goal is arguably the most realistic out of the main four.

zach’s main gimmick is using wild animals for his own technology. donita uses wild animals for fashion. gourmand cooks and eats wild animals. yes, the latter two can and do happen in real life (not… really sure about zach’s but that’s not the point). but paisley’s gimmick was never about harming animals, but destroying the environment they live in, in order to build things for humans instead. she’s the kind of person who you’d most likely encounter in real life. redeeming paisley has nothing to do with her character (a businesswoman who finds nature “yucky” as seen in the spirit bear and Asian elephant episodes), instead her general gimmick. wouldn’t it be nice if we could get the people destroying animals’ homes to truly see how beautiful nature can be? so much so that they stop trying to destroy it and instead attempt to help preserve it?

(this is just a personal nitpick but paisley’s new design absolutely is NOT working for me srry)

after i watched the special i had some ideas abt how it potentially could have gone instead?:

don’t redeem paisley at all: again, i get the general idea of why they did this but also. it doesn’t?? line up with her character at all?? the way she was acting in the beginning was fine and perfectly in character for her. she just wants nature out of the way in order to complete her plans, and she has no time for zach being overly concerned with the wild kratts. you could argue that her knowing that dolphins and whales weren’t fish but mammals was foreshadowing to her redemption, but like… paisley’s not dumb?? donita has also corrected zach on not knowing his animals in the past so unless you’re also going to argue for a possible donita redemption in the future then. yeah. i dunno. the other villains didn’t need a redemption to make the special they were in interesting, i don’t see how this one should be any different.

another redemption fake-out, but do it much earlier in the story: i have. my own gripes about how the plot of this special went but we’ll save that for later. have paisley initially be dismissive of the wild kratts’s presence, but once she learns that the kratt brothers are arguing and that aviva, koki, and jimmy are spending all of their time trying to get them to make up, pounce on that opportunity. have her go all over-the-top (like she did in her canon redemption) and trick the wild kratts into thinking she’s turned good, only for her to turn on them in the second half. this might be too similar to “a creature christmas” though. this one would take up more of the plot if that’s any consolation?

give a hint to a paisley redemption arc, but don’t make her do a complete 180 right away: if they’re adamant on redeeming paisley (again, i see the general idea behind this gimmick-wise), then they could still do it and make it fit with her character. remember that paisley’s intentions are not to harm animals, but their environment (which is not any better, making that clear). she can still have her awed-by-coral moment, but maybe. tone it down?? she can have second thoughts about going with the plan, but have zach or rex* encourage her to continue. she steels her resolve, but remembers the coral, and hesitates. and the kratt brothers use that last-minute hesitation to defeat zach’s zachbots and paisley’s pavers. have paisley question why she couldn’t go through with it as she and zach leave madagascar. you could have aviva or one of the other wild kratts theorize that paisley has started to have a change of heart after seeing what nature is capable of, if left to thrive. but again: don’t redeem her right away. hint at it, and then explore it whenever she appears as the main antagonist in an episode of season 7.

*i’m admittedly not caught up on all of wk, but like. did paisley fire rex or something. WHERE WAS HE THIS ENTIRE SPECIAL??

as for the plot point of the kratt brothers fighting… yeah that definitely could have gone better.

(again, minor nitpick but jimmy saying that this was the first time he’s seen the brothers fight,, then implied that it happened every single laundry day,, but also he’s definitely seen them fight before? or had disagreements at least?? isn’t that the premise of at least two different episodes not counting this special. this script is also Not My Favorite. not sure how to explain it but some of the dialogue seems a little awkward?)

ik that the brothers get into danger 24/7 but i feel like. martin should be a little bit concerned that chris was getting squeezed to death by a green anaconda?? like you don’t have to make him overtly worried to the point of apologizing, but you could at least. make him look at chris with concern? i get that the point is that “oh no the brothers are fighting so they won’t help each other when one’s in danger” but. martin your brother is dying STOP SMILING NONCHALANTLY.

the resolution between the brothers was. kind of rushed? all it took was chris complimenting martin (“nice one, bro!”) and then activating some creature powers and then everything was fine. is. is that all it took?

if you liked it then that’s 100% fine !! i’m glad you enjoyed it :D it just wasn’t for me

just my personal preference but i think i would have preferred it if we spent more time with the brothers solo (martin at sea and chris in the rainforest) and have them come to their realizations that the planet needs both blues and greens to thrive separately. like martin sees the planktonic soup and acknowledges that the creatures who live in the ocean need a little green to survive. or chris sees how important rivers are in the amazon and remembers how the rivers will eventually flow into the ocean. and both of the brothers remember their adventures with each other (or aviva, koki, and jimmy remind them). they can still be stubborn and not forgive each other, but i’d like them to at least like. acknowledge each other’s pov and respect it.

or: do something with aviva trying to program two creature power suits at once (the brothers are both in madagascar at this point). like, what if there was a creature power suit malfunction where martin is a blue whale at first, but then turns into an indri. and chris starts our as an indri but then his suit malfunctions and he becomes a blue whale. the bros swap places, with martin going on land and chris going to sea, and then they realize that the other had a point - the land is home to so many wonderful creatures and so are the oceans. and how both are connected and make the earth their home. boom, reconciliation.

also another personal preference thing, i really wish they spent more time with kablooey/kabluey and mambiky (?). i’m here for cool creatures and i wanna see more of the cool creatures !! is that so much to ask for !!

also also. i think the indri-conda was born bc someone saw the pun potential and to that i say. no comment.

i still have. a lot of thoughts but i think i’ll just leave it there for now. ik i criticized it a lot but i did genuinely enjoy the special :D i’m happy to have the brothers back from hiatus and can’t wait to watch the other episodes !!

“I like the new look,” House drawls as he walks -limps, over to the blonde that’s lying on a gurney in a less crowded corner of Princeton Plainsboro’s ER. “Cameron changed her hair so you had to one up her with finally getting rid of your god awful wardrobe?”

Chase struggles to move enough to look at his old boss, though really he doesn’t even want to, dark grey sweatpants and forest green hoodie covering his body. He’s thoroughly embarrassed (or he would be if his fever wasn’t through the roof)- half the people he’s seen have already asked what’s wrong, what happened, what they can do to help. He’s given them all weak smiles and told them he’s ok, that Cameron is getting him fluids and he’ll be fine soon.

“Go away House.”

He sounds awful and looks worse. His usually tan complexion is drained of color, leaving him almost ashen, aside from the light sprinkle of deep pink on his cheeks and the deep purple under his eyes.

“I’m checking up on an old colleague in his time of need-“

“What I need is for you t’go away.”

Voice raspy, Chase goes to take a breath but gets stopped not even halfway through his chest rising, crackling coming from fluid in his lungs. A cough rings out, wheezy and deep, and the blonde turns his head, aiming down at his shoulder. He’s too tired to raise his arm to cover.

“You should get that checked out,” House says sarcastically, sitting on the rolling stool next to the gurney and looking around for something.

“Oh yeah, I’m here just because I love how bright and loud it is,” he glares, body shivering.

“Where’s Cameron?”

“She went to find meds I think,” Chase mumbles, eyes drooping shut.

Something cool lays across his forehead and the doctor leans into the feeling but it soon goes away, making a noise fall from him.

“I was checking for a fever, wombat, I need my hand for other things too, unfortunately. Now, relax a little and try to take as big a breath as you can.”

Prying his eyes open, he sees House has a stethoscope ready, the end pressing against his sweatshirt. Doing as he’s told, the 30 year old manages to get some air in before he starts coughing again. This time, it goes on longer and ends with him gagging into a salmon colored plastic tub, red tinged sputum coming up. Shit.

“Even with pneumonia, laying here with sweatpants and a sweatshirt on, you still can get nurses all hot and bothered,” House rolls his eyes when two young nurses look over worriedly.

“Fuck off House.”

I keep forgetting to ask this. I heard that in Australia, rabbits I considered pests similarly to how America sees rats. Is that true? (If so, does that mean Ghost is your guys' equivalent to owning a rat? XD)

Cool question! XD I conferred with my mum, who has been Australian for a lot longer then me (: (don't tell her I said that. she likes to live in a world where she's still 32) for this but the answer is still pretty boring 😅

For the farmers and people living out in the country, yes. They eat the crops! They steal wombats burrows! (Don't quote me on that. I just read that they compete with native wildlife and I couldn't imagine one taking on a kangaroo) For us in the suburbs (and probably the cities), no- bun bun's are pretty much just household pets XDD Though we do have some wild ones. My friend has one that routinely hangs out in her front yard that she refuses to let me name. It is nameless ^^ It is free! 🐇

TW : a lot of cursing (they’re playing minecraft)

“Rex, watch out, Anakin is about to burn your house down.” “Oh, come on! Stop being a snitch!” “Anakin, touch my house and I’m gonna break your legs.” Ahsoka let out a sigh as she listened to the two bicker through the call, calling each other names and making threats about setting houses on fire and spawning Withers. “Can you calm down?” she asked once they stopped to catch a breath. “It was supposed to be a nice, calm game. You...” Before she could finish she saw a text appear in the left corner of the screen, which read ‘wolf was slain by SkyGuy69”. “YOU FUCKER!” she yelled before making her character run after Anakin, who was laughing uncontrollably. “I SWEAR TO GOD, THIS IS THE LAST TIME WE’RE PLAYING MINECRAFT WITH YOU!” It was now Rex’s turn to let out a sigh as he reached over to lower the volume. He rubbed his eyes and concentrated on chopping trees around his home, while still keeping an eye out for the two. “Please remind me, why do we even play this childish game?” Obi-Wan asked, getting a hum from Cody in response. “I mean, like, it’s just... square blocks.” “With all respect, but it’s not a childish game. You’re just saying that because your house looks like literal shit.” Anakin responded, looking at the cube build from dirt. “It looks exactly like wombat shit. Therefore, your house is shit.” There was a series of giggles as Obi-Wan let out a dramatic gasp, unable to come up with a response. “Your house is no better.” Rex smirked. “You’re homeless.” “I’m not homeless, I live with you!” “Let me guess, you put your minecraft beds together?” the girl asked sweetly, making them laugh. “Sure did, even got some candles to spice things up.” “O my fucking god, shut up.” Cody said, unable to listen to his brother’s comments. “Now, Cody, no need to get angry...” Obi-Wan said, trying to calm his partner down. “Come with me, I know a cool spot.” “For kissing?” “Anakin!” “Sorry, sorry...” “Does anyone have any spare diamonds?” For a few minutes everything was calm, as everyone went to do their own things : Ahsoka was building some kind of a stone statue, Rex was making a farm, Cody and Obi were fishing and Anakin... “Why is he levitating?” “What?” “Anakin, he’s in the air.” “HE GOT CREATIVE MODE, EVERYONE RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!” “BUT HOW? WE’RE ON HARDCORE, HOW DID HE...?!” Before they could finish screaming and panicking, something exploded and a series of texts appeared, saying : CCody was slain by SkyGuy69 and TheHighGround was slain by SkyGuy69. “Oh fuck.” Ahsoka said, knowing that they were next. “He’s coming!” Snips was shot by SkyGuy69 Rex cursed before making a run for it, only for a fireball to hit his character mid-air, which was followed by the familiar red screen saying ‘you died’. “You killed me!” he screamed angrily, he could her Ahsoka laughing hysterically in the background. “Don’t take this personally, I killed everyone!” Anakin spoke, earning a few curses from the rest. “I’m not talking to you ever again.” Ahsoka said before exiting the call. Obi-Wan and Cody followed soon after, both happy that the game was finally over and that they could go to sleep. Now, only Rex and Anakin remained. “Anakin, you promised.” “I got bored.” “Anakin.” “Okay, I’m sorry...” he said, but it was obvious that he wasn’t. “I have to go, it’s pretty late.” Rex said, muffling a yawn. “Same time tomorrow?” “Sure. And, Rex?” “Yeah?” “I love you.” “Love you too.” “Even though I killed you.” “Yes.” he smiled. “Even though you killed me.”

Yello, Yello! I'm Lore, or well that's what you can call me. I guess that's weird to use as a name or nickname, but yeah you can call me that or Rory! Welcome to my roleplay blog for Young Neil, I have not seen any other roleplay blogs for him yet so I decided to make one plus I wanted to join in on the fun!

★ I have a lot of brain rot going on for certain things currently, that specifically being Scott Pilgrim Takes off/vs the world. Kieran Culkin, succession, and Lymelife which I obsess over every single day. Oh, I'm also a huge Garfield and Pink panther lover.

★ I'm a rambler, sometimes I get excited and start talking too much. So my apologies if I post too much, I also might be a bit extra with trying to make everything look nice or good.

Anyways, let's get to the more important information as well as some rules and basics.

☕ I've watched both the show and movie, but have not read the comics yet. Although I have read up a few of the characters wiki and have been spoiled so I know something's but not a lot.

👾 Everyone is welcome to ask or even just pop in, you can also claim emoji's, just let me know and I'll add them to the anon list! Ooc, Non-canon, Canon are allowed. Shipping as well, as long as it's nothing illegal or wrong. There's also what's been happening with Palestine and Israel, I am Pro-Palestine. Hopefully I'm wording that correctly, if not my apologies. I have an ooc account where I will spread awareness for that, reblogs and likes of the sort. My likes for this blog will most likely be full of stuff for support of Palestine as well, if you do not like that do block me. It's not that hard.

3. who is the artist you put on to make you smile?

Breathe Carolina Idk, tough question. If we're talking happy smile no idea maybe Glass Animals.

Though looking at the next question, I should say the first The Wombats album even though I haven't listened to it in years.

6. what was the first concert you went to?

The Wombats in 2008. A friend had heard about it and dragged me along. We barely knew the band, mostly knew their "Let's dance to Joy Division song". Since we're only 15 at the time, my friend's mother came along, too. I was really nervous because it was a new thing and what if it's so loud my ears die! (haha anxiety) beforehand but it turned out to be really fun and got me hooked onto concerts.

23. how did you discover your favorite artist?

What even is my favorite band.... let's go with HEALTH since it's my latest favorite band. I was living in Sweden at the time and on my way to Stockholm by train for an appointment at the gender clinic (think it was 2019) and I saw HEALTH's Slaves of Fear album pop up in my Spotify suggestions and thought the album art looked cool. So I started listening to it and then didn't listen to anything else for the next while.

Gabrielle: Yeah I was kidnapped and held underwater for a school event when I was eight but it’s fine because some random child saved me and his best friend even though he was being actively attacked

3-A: What, and we cannot stress this enough, the fuck goes on in England?

Tbh i don’t know yet. I wasn’t planning on Yuuga being such a big part of the plot when I first did my outline, but realistically only like four days have passed since the kids moved back into he dorms and three since Harry sent their letters to Fleur. It would realistically take at little bit for them to A. Arrive and B. Do the adult things like deal with work and possibly childcare unless they are dragging a whole five year old along. And C. Gabrielle would technically still be in school and prepping for her WOMBATS at this point so that is another hoop to jump through unless she just comes further down the line.

So short answer 🤷🏻 I’m winging it.

*me and coworker at doggy daycare talking abt the barrel of an english bulldog we have in*

her: have you seen her on her back? its so funny she looks so stiff and her stocky arms go into the air like--

me: omg like a wombat?

her: haha idk...is that what wombats look like?

me: *proceeds to feel homesick as fuck :"( *

little things like this make me sad that i cant # relate to others about animal stuff as easily anymore. like if u said this to a fellow aussie they would immediately ~get it~. ive had a few times like this when referencing kangaroos or cockatoos. it's so trivial and it sounds so silly, but i genuinely miss the aussie animals and ive never really appreciated how unique and amazing they are until im not surrounded by them (or gum trees) in my day to day life

doesnt help that ive barely seen wildlife here beyond pest grey squirrels and wood pigeons lmao. i love the birds here tho, the magpies and pheasants? the little songbirds? top tier animals.

ive yet to see a fox, a hedgehog, a badger, or any other stereotypical animal really (at least, one that isnt roadkill ^^; i DID see a roadkill badger months ago though and that was really cool to see one actually exist even tho it was tragically dead). ive seen some different looking bugs, even boxes of feeder ones at pet stores which has been really cool to see (like, ive never seen a locust before?!)

this probably sounds a lot more dramatic than what it is but it's just that homesickness really coming out right now lmao. i definitely know im gonna appreciate aus a lot more when i inevitably visit. i went to edinburgh zoo the other month and got a bit Emotional at seeing the kangaroos, wallabies, and koalas

I'm actually writing this post specifically for @deepwoodenheart because they followed my main and were not a porn blog. Thanks! They've recently expressed an interest in Yuichiro Umehara (a voice actor), and @msyuksanh is his number one fan who is the one who actually introduced me to this specific voice actor. Since I watch a ton of anime (an unhealthy amount), I will be running through some of the stuff I have watched (and some stuff I haven't). Some of these are just to make fun of these anime, but I don't fault any seiyuu for taking a bad role because you do what you need to to make that bread 🍞

His list of roles is big but not as big as some other voice actors, so I was able to go through which ones I had watched or heard of quite quickly. He has made some random appearances in other anime that I've watched where I went "Huh, definitely know this guy from somewhere" like Fire Force, Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun, and Kaguya-sama.

Note: I haven't watched Jojo Part 6 yet or that parody magic anime with the wombat. The anime will go in no specific order, but it generally goes from "good" to "mediocre" to "these anime can go suck cheese" with anything below the "keep reading" being literal trash-tier anime. There's also some missing stuff, especially in terms of idol anime because I haven't watched those and don't plan on it for now. From looking at the cast list, I think his major idol roles are in Magic Kyun, Tsukipro, Ensemble Stars, and Idolmaster SideM (regular Idolmaster is for female idols).

Akagami no Shirayuki-hime

I was talking to a friend of mine recently when we went Christmas shopping, and when he saw this manga he went, "I didn't like that one." I personally did like this one. His complaint was that too much time was given to the secondary love interest. Umehara plays a supporting (but recurring) character.

Fruits Basket (remake)

Okay, Umehara admittedly barely shows up in this one, but people should watch Fruits Basket no matter who they are. It's good for the soul. That is all.

Tenchi Souzou Design-bu

This anime is surprisingly not directly creationism, but it sure comes close! As a biology major, this anime was pretty neat, but some of it made me go, "What am I watching anyway?" I'm not an ecology specialist though, so maybe this makes more sense to others. His character is a supporting character, but he has some funny bits.

((He also gets to rap in this role, so that was kind of funny. My other favourite lines are "Wow, Mercury is dead!" and "WOO! SAIKOU NI COOL!!!"))

SSSS.Dynazenon

This one was not nearly as good as Gridman which was already divisive in the mecha community (that I'm not a part of). I heard from others that it was enjoyable, but I personally thought it was a bit of a bore. Props to the casting director for getting Chika Anzai and her cousin Junya Enoki. There are some subbed radio segments that are funny too.

((Also, this is the first anime I watched where he was cast as an ugly adult. Ain't nobody falling for kinoko hair over here. He has also played a piece of sperm, but I digress.))

Dame x Prince

This anime was built for cringe, and it succeeds at cringe. But because it embraces the cringe, it unironically becomes one of the better anime adaptations of an otome game which is like saying you're the tallest dwarf of the seven dwarfs. It also gave a long-running radio with Kaito Ishikawa and Soma Saito.

Shingeki no Bahamut: Virgin Soul

I genuinely remember so little about this anime that I went to go watch clips to refresh my memory, and this anime wasn't even bad. It was mediocre, but for something based off a card game, they did really well. I actually watched this for Sumire Morohoshi and her bubbly character Nina. This is technically a sequel, so you'd need to watch the previous one to fully understand it. Oddly enough, I didn't know the first season was a romance until some characters kissed.

Gakuen Babysitters

This one was essentially built to be a comfort watch. It works at what it wants to do, but I don't like kids. The ending theme is cute, but Nishiyama looked way more into it (Umehara was there to get paid).

Shinchou Yuusha

I personally thought this anime was gonna be a Konosuba, and it kind of was, but it was far more palatable for me (I was not able to make it through Konosuba and will try again at a later date). Aki Toyosaki carries 99% of the comedy in this anime.

Orenchi no Furo Jijou

Fun fact: I watched this before knowing what a shounen ai was! I saw the shounen part and went "Oh, so my demographic" watched it, came out, and went "What. Was. That?!" I don't remember a whole ton about it, but I don't remember it being horrendous. It's just some mermaid in a bathtub. I think this was his debut role, and he does play a main character.

Juuni Taisen

This is probably in a similar boat as Tenkuu Shinpan (later in the list). It's just a bloodbath of an anime, but I will give it credit that it has fanservice for both sides (they sexualize men and women). Anyways, it has a stacked seiyuu cast for something that is so incredibly mediocre.

Tada-kun wa Koi wo Shinai

He had to be replaced partway through due to his acute immune disease. However, I think he recorded it in post-production. Either way, it's a supporting character in an anime that I think wasn't worth the watch besides the banger of an opening. Masayoshi Ohishi has a knack for writing openings for romcoms (he likes romcoms himself).

Tenkuu Shinpan

I kinda want to watch this one just to turn off my brain and watch some Battle Royale-style gore.

Darling in the Franxx

Apparently, you're supposed to watch the first 12 episodes then dip, but come on, when the mechas are built like that, I'm not touching that thing. Even though it has Haruka Tomatsu and one of her most famous characters, I'm not watching it.

((It took me over 100 gifs to find one with Gorou in them despite typing in "Gorou Darling in the Franxx", and he is part of the main cast.))

Goblin Slayer

You know, for such an edgy first episode, this series is so mid at the genre it tries to take on after. Umehara said himself, "He doesn't really say much of importance." This anime has sexual violence (and it's explicit), and it's not even good.

Plunderer

I haven't watched this one, but he does star alongside his bandmate Yoshiki Nakajima. Both of them have been in better anime that is certainly not this one. I even read a chapter or two of the manga when it first started airing and went, "They're really making that, huh?"

Uchitama

Hmm... I haven't watched this one. It's not hard to see why, but basically, I have not reached that level of degeneracy, and if I do, someone should put me out of my misery.

Senjuushi

Fun fact: This anime is so bad that it has a rating similar to Boku no P-- I'm not finishing that title. I obviously didn't watch this one.

Makura no Danshi

I didn't watch this one, but I saw a video on it and was near tears from laughter and despair because there's no fricking way someone made an anime about this concept AND got Masayoshi Ohishi to write an OP for it. This is the stupidest thing I've seen in a while, and just being close to it made me even more embarrassed that I watch anime. I also listened to Masayoshi's version of the OP before I knew what it was connected to or how to understand some words in Japanese. After learning its association, I was legally obligated to take that song off my playlist.

Now I need to know about 2nd gen Classverse. Is Rattus still alive? Who are the new Outbackers? Is Will Cade still alive?

Don't worry, Will Cade (Rattus) is still alive! The universe can't get rid of him that easily, considering his life is my favorite comedy.

Now here is a little fun little fact about Will Cade: He actually is the primary love interest of Burnum Hayes (the leader of the Outbackers). The two even get married, meaning Will Cade has two kids through his marriage to Burnum.

The two kids are Arisa Hayes and Terran Hayes, and Arisa Hayes ends up becoming the leader of the Outbackers in the future! Terran Hayes, while a member of the Outbackers, moves to Brazil with his future husband Jair Moreno Valento.

Now here is another little fun fact about Will Cade: He has an illegitimate son he had no idea about named Liam. Liam pops up a month before Will and Burnum's wedding and demands child support in the form of teaching him how to deal with these ridiculous rat powers.

Liam is in re-development because his original stick was he showed up, got taken in, and then started biological childing all over the place claiming to be the only true son of Will. Except I don't like that idea anymore, so re-development.

Anyways, while I have your attention here are some fun facts about Arisa and Terran Hayes.

Arisa and Terran actually worked for one of Burnum's major villains (Sabertooth) before being adopted by Burnum.

Arisa is trans, in fact she is the whole reason Will even got a date with Burnum in the first place. Will told Burnum he would do anything to take him on one date and Burnum (jokingly) told him to pay for Arisa's gender affirming care. Will immediately agreed, and that's how Burnum gave him a chance.

Arisa is an influencer, though I haven't decided what kind yet, and that's how she is able to afford the materials to build her gadgets and the Outbackers' suits.

Arisa is dating fellow Outbacker member Taz Ione, who upon their first meeting she slugged them in the jaw after mistaking them for the drug dealer she was tasked to hunt down.

Terran is on a team with other young heroes including the previously mentioned future husband, who he met by throwing up on him.

Terran's team often forgets he was raised by conspiratorial anarchist, and he seems so chill in comparison to the rest of them that he never fails to shock them when he does something absolutely batshit.

Terran is victim to his father's curse, as the next generation Strays (the name for the Outbackers rogues gallery) finds Terran hot including his father's ex fiance's nephew.

Terran was originally named Dingo, as Burnum was going to be called Jackal. However, to keep with the new backstory of a scientist being funky with Australia's fauna Burnum received the Dingo alias and Terran was given the alias Wombat. (Which was the alias that was going to be given to his future father-in-law until Jair's father was regulated to simply civilian instead of another hero.)

Arisa and Terran have a generally positive relationship, but they did have one huge fight. Essentially, after Terran joined his team around the time Arisa was given her first lone mission and just expected he was going to follow her. Terran became upset because the one time he made connections without her she wanted to interfere, and told her that he is not her shadow. Arisa didn't realize she had started to treat her brother as an accessory, and after some time apart she apologized to him and they became cool again.
