I just finished Hannibal ep 1(was really good, and Hannibal communicating via murder is interesting, as is the fact that Will misses at least one hint), so

1. Any thoughts from you?

2. Any recommended reviews or anything?

Personally, I’m still puzzling out about Hannibal a bit. Obviously he’s interested in Will, but how much of his actions are just for that, and how much are for something else, and is that something else pleasure, sadism, and amusement, or something more personal?

Okay so now for your question about Hannibal, I think he’s mostly curious at this point. Hannibal likes to mess with things and see what happens, how good is Will? What is wrong with him? Would he be able to tell if something is a copycat just by vibes? Also he wanted to help Will figure out the case. Hannibal has a weird morality, for him killing someone isny bad and he’s actually being a good person helping Will. You’ll see as you continue that Hannibal LOVES to twist people around. He loves to get people to do really dark things. This episode is really great to get you a good starting point, while I won’t give any spoilers there is a lot in here that will come up and continue into big story points.

The way it ended is a HUGE thing. Will is really fragile and to kill someone is really hard for him. And If Hannibal hadn’t been there Abigail wouldn’t have lived. Why did he make the phone call? Curiosity. Why did he save Abigail’s life? Well there’s a lot of reasons you’ll start to see through the show. Hannibal has a lot of weird morals and weird ideas and pretty much everything has a meaning and a purpose, the more you know him the scarier he gets

Also side note but Winston is a baby and we all love Winston.

And I don’t know any reviews off the top of my head, I’m sure you might be able to find them if you search the name of the episode! Also I highly recommend looking up translations for the names of the episodes because it’s really fun to see how it correlates with the episode itself :) whether it’s something they had or a deeper meaning. I myself haven’t looked into them enough to find the deeper meanings yet. But aperitif is an alcoholic beverage usually before a meal as an appetizer. A lot of them are food. Hmm wonder why with the weird ass cannibal hehe

when I started shipping it if I did: I am first and foremost a Tatara fan, and when I was scrolling through the Tatara tag I found this gem so I start noticing Houtata. The Root A ending illustration and chapter 88 confirmed that this is the ship. I just can't believe I've been shipping it for 3 years normally I change my fandom all the time especially if there's no fancontent

my thoughts: they're made specifically for me. I have two types: 1. grumpy gap moe villain and 2. business man with slicked back hair who looks friendly but actually evil. And I like enemies to lovers ship so yeah you can see why I'm so obsessed with them

What makes me happy about them: I am not happy about them. At all. They are whatever the opposite of comfort characters is. I see them and my day is ruined I can't do a single thing.

What makes me sad about them: Eh not really about them but sometimes it's hard to be the main content creator of the fandom. But recently more and more people like them so that's my motivation to keep going

things done in fanfic that annoys me: There aren't many fanfics about them to me hm. I say the thing that I dislike the most is a fic where Tatara abused Eto and Houji helped him. I can see where the author was coming from and there are some great details in the fic, I just don't feel comfortable when Tatara is portrayed to be abusive towards Eto

things I look for in fanfic: They hate each other but are also the only one who can understand each other and they hate them for that *screaming into my pillow remembering PSYB*

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: YanHouji i guess but like with extreme power gap. I should say TataEto only if Eto also has romantic feeling for him, I don't like one-sided relationship because again, I'm a Tatara fan and I don't want him to suffer

My happily ever after for them: whether they burn together in hell or what happened in PSYB. Man the ending is so good I don't even have the strength to talk about it

who is the big spoon/little spoon: they are knives. Anyway I see depends on their mood or if Houji is passed out or not

what is their favorite non-sexual activity: killing each other. No wait, that's a sexual one. Trashtalking? Nah that's just foreplay. Uhm I say ranting about their job and co-workers

I'm sorry this took so long thanks for asking me to do itttttttt!!! You're amazing and I hope you're having a super chill weekend! Who’s more ticklish? Honestly I think it depends on the spot! Charlie is more ticklish in the typical areas but if you get your hands in Tao's armpits that boy is sCREWED! He is more ticklish there than anyone else on the planet.

What kind of tickles are they sensitive to? Charlie gets giggly and snorts sometimes when he's tickled softly, and Tao is a sucker for the rougher type of tickles.

Which role (lee/ler) does each of them hold? Charlie is a lee unless it's with Nick (cause he loves making that labrador in human clothing laugh), and Tao is definitely a Ler-Leaning switch (and was Charlie's main ler before Nick came along).

How did they discover each others’ ticklishness? Both were actually because of Elle. Tao found out about Charlie first when he saw Elle tickling him and became addicted to teasing the poor kid any chance he got. Charlie found out about Tao some time later at one of their famous movie nights. Tao was tickling Charlie relentlessly as usual, and Elle nonchalantly mentioned that he could just tickle Tao back. This was both to tease Tao about being ticklish, and also to sliiiightly make fun of how much it seemed like Charlie liked getting tickled by Tao (I have a huge headcanon that Charlie is a massive lee).

Who’s more likely to instigate a tickle fight? From the outside it looks like Tao just attacks Charlie any chance he gets. But it's always Charlie that does something to subtly hint at Tao that he's in the mood for some tickles.

How often do they tickle each other? All. The. Damn. Time. It is constant with these two - mostly Tao tickling Charlie

Who’s the least likely to ask for tickles? Charlie will NEVER ask, but he will hint frequently. Tao doesn't want tickles nearly as frequently but when he does he gets just as shy and embarrassed (but is slightly better at asking for them).

3: What work are you most proud of? My favourite fic was Home Is Where the Horses Are, which is a nomadic hungarian au with some good ol' ethubs and also my longest fic so far. It was just suuuuch a good time working on it, especially since it was for a Big Bang so I had a whole little team being crazy about it with me C:

11. What work took you the longest to write? This was also the same fic, I was writing it throughout the whole 2 months that the event lasted (I still can't quite believe that I was able to keep motivated that whole time :0)

17. Your favourite character to write this year? Mmm... that's a difficult one... People I wrote the most are Grian and Scar but that is just because to me, Scarian is The Default Ship so. I think voice-wise, I really love to write Mumbo. So fun to make him ramble anxiously heh heh

hey what do you think abt damian calling his dad baba and his siblings various nicknames in arabic that range from zameel or jalees when he’s particularly annoyed with them to akhi (brother)/ukhti (sister) when hes rlly happy

I LOOOOOVEEEEEE IT!!!!!

anything that keeps damian in touch with his heritage is a huge yes for me. big fan of him slipping arabic words into his sentences, or repeating phrases he grew up around when he can't think of an adequate english equivalent. etc etc

similar to how people who are learning english as a second language tend to mix their native tongue into english sentences. although with damian i don't think he would do it because he isn't confident with the language (because he most definitely is), i think it's just something that's familar to him, and comfortable to slip into his english speech. + sometimes he can just articulate himself better in arabic.

as for the familial names, although he doesn't use them in canon, he very much does seek comfort from things culturally familiar to him, in gotham. such as in teen titans (2016) special #1, when he's implied to often visit a middle-eastern restaurant 'tarbooshes' which reminds him of his home in the league and his mother.

so although the nicknames aren't something shown in the comics, i don't think it'd be unlikely. he's definitely 'in touch' with his culture, and it's far from an out there idea.

as for the specific names, such as calling bruce 'baba', i'm typically all for that. though apparently in arabic that word in particular translates more to 'dad' than it does 'father'. obviously damian's very formal with his speech, so it is a question as to whether or not that would be the nickname he uses for bruce, or whether he'd use more formal titles. (this post gives some alternatives + explains it more).

usually when i see the use of 'baba' in fics, it's very fitting. i'm very partial to the 'sleepy/hurt damian letting his guard down' trope, and i thoroughly enjoy it when the writer lets him slip a "baba" to bruce. one fic that did this really well was 'repeat your favourite mistakes and love them all over again' by watchingthestars13 on ao3, in which damian (although not the focus of the story) is aged down to 2 years old by magic, and coordinates life as a toddler with bruce, rather than with the league. he's very hesitant to affection at first, so when the writer lets an 'about to fall asleep' damian, call bruce his 'baba', it's always just right.

i'm also fond of him having personal nicknames for his siblings beyond 'brother' or 'sister' in arabic. this post talks about how in arab culture it's common for people to refer to loved ones as their organs. i think it's a fun idea for damian, especially because it's something only he would understand. i think he'd be most likely to do this for dick, although maybe he has a generic one that he uses for other siblings when he's suuuuper happy with them.

but he also takes advantage of being the only arab in the house, and one huuuuundred percent switches up the nicknames he uses depending on how he feels about that sibling at a particular time. he is not above throwing flavourful remarks when he's annoyed, in a language no one else understands (whether that be arabic or not), or calling people the nastiest names he can think of.

WHAT'S GOODDDD

FOr the OTP/Self ship ask game, KiriTodo (Kirishima x Todoroki) for numbers 5, 6, and 10

Hey hey hey! ヾ(●ω●)ノ I'm so excited!!! Okay, okay, let's seeee—

5. Describe their cozy night in: It's starts with Kirishima tucking his feet under Todoroki's thighs as they sit on the couch watching an action flick. Todoroki is only mildly interested. He's too busy watching Kirishima. Admiring his bright laugh at the comedy beats and growling with annoyance when the main character makes a mistake. At some point, he's shifted enough that he's leaning against Kirishima's legs. It's not exactly comfortable, but he's grateful for any kind of contact.

Todoroki must have dozed at some point because suddenly he's pressed up against Kirishima, fingers gently scratching at his scalp. The sensation is calming. Body buzzing with warmth and contentment. He snuggles closer, resting his head on Kirishima's chest.

6. Who would beg the other not to leave? Who has to leave to protect the other? Kirishima is the one to beg. He begs and begs for Todoroki to stay. He's a manly guy. A brick house! Tough as nails! But Todoroki knows better. He knows just how soft and tender Kirishima's heart is. Feels it in the way he holds Todoroki so carefully. Hears it when he whispers into his neck late at night. He doesn't want to leave. In fact, he's desperate to stay. But not at the chance of Kirishima getting hurt.

10. Describe their first date: They both are a bundle of nerves. They decide to do a simple, short dinner—squeezed in during their hectic schedules. Kirishima can't stop sweating or talking. Waving his hands around wildly. Todoroki on, the other hand, can't seem to get a word out. Mouth dry and mind blank. It's part way through dinner that a tense lull comes between them. 'Maybe Todoroki doesn't see me romantically,' Kirishima can't help but think. But it's an unexpected joke from Todoroki that catches Kirishima off guard, and he burst into laughter. And when he finally catches a moment to breathe, he notices the soft grin and faint tint of pink on Todoroki's cheeks. It helps put him at ease.

The night ends with Kirishima walking Todoroki home. Palms sweating as he works up the nerve to ask him on a second date. He finally manages to blurt out the question when they reach Todoroki's front door. He's sure the guy is going to say no. That he's too busy or not interested. So, Kirishima is shocked when he feels Todoroki's lips on his cheek. "Are you free next week?"

Holidays With Them - This is a little Moon Knight drabble with all three boys. It's a sort of little list about how I envision they'd be like with a muslim!reader during holidays like Eid and Ramadan. Basically....horribly tooth-achingly sweet activities with our favourite boys during the Islamic holidays <3 I'm actually veryyy proud of this one cuz it took a lot of confidence to post it lmao. But yeah, for my muslim girlies out there who wanted a little cheer-me-up with the lack of muslim centered fanfics <3 and for. um. educational purposes.

Friendzoned - A little harmless prank on Jason ends up in a bit of angst and some mind blowing sex. AHAHAH so this was the first (and currently only) DC smut I've written.
