🍬 If you have a strong sense of justice, that can mean a couple of different things:

Situation One: You're really into criminal justice and the law. This can be sort of a problem because, you know, LJ's "line of work". But LJ is totally justified in his actions IMO (remember, he 'deals with' those who have hurt children) so hopefully you understand. It's his personal way of dishing out justice, and if you get behind him on that, it'll make him feel even better about what he does. He'll be sure to keep you away from people like Jeff though, who don't dish out justice.

Situation Two: You're really into justice as in people being fair and treating others well, with those who don't getting what's coming to them in the end (like karma). LJ would love this, as he believes that being nice and making others happy is the key to your own happiness. Again, he would keep you away from Jeff who is kind of believes the opposite.

Situation Three: You're really into social justice (LGBTQ+ rights, equality, racial diversity, etc) which LJ adores about you. You correct him on his outdated language (he was created in the 1800s, and obviously times have changed since then). He would never want to offend anybody, but he often genuinely doesn't know because society has progressed past when people considered certain things appropriate in the 1800s. So if he says something outdated, please gently correct him, he wants to know and he'll refrain from using that word/phrase in the future. LJ also finds social justice topics very interesting, he could listen to you talk about them for hours.

y/n was scared at first mainly bc um they are demons? and sometimes they act like 7 year olds? but ur like aight bet let's do this!!!!

time skip 2 the day of the wedding

(if ur a gal) y/n's sister made her the maid of honor

(if ur a mans) y/n will be the person walking mc down the aisle

so y/n had to be there fairly early to help with everything as well as get ready for the ceremony and reception

the entire 2nd floor of the nearest hotel to the wedding venue was rented out thanks to jumin !

the brothers took up a total of 2 rooms...lucifer, mammon, and asmo to one room / satan, beel, belphie, and levi to another

lucifer needed to be with mammon and asmo and practically kept them on an invisible leash considering that they have pretty bad self restraint in terms of their sin

but jumin also had to pull some strings to get the ceremony at a space station...hip hip hooray

the station said it was strictly only immediate family though, so the ceremony was just mc, saeyoung, y/n, jaehee (only bridesmaid/maid of honor if y/n is a boy), saeran, yoosung, jumin, zen, and v

saeyoung is in awe as he watches mc walk down the aisle...hes dreamed of this moment his entire life!

who would have known they'd actually manage to get married in a space station?? :')

after saying their vows, mc and saeyoung kissy kiss and all is HAPPY

idk how weddings work in terms of scheduling so let us simply time skip to the reception

the brothers pull up skrrt earlier than most guests but they arent the first ones to arrive

cue mammon, levi, and asmo arguing over where y/n should sit

satan interrupts and clarifies that y/n will be sitting at the head table with their sister. they r salty

oKAY UHHH time to start the reception!!

y/n and zen duetting???? beauty and the beast????? as they escort mc and saeyoung in for their slow dance???? YES PLEASE

when the brothers see y/n as they sing the first line of the song they ! almost ! combust !

mc and saeyoung slow dance to the song and everyone has tears in their eyes. yoosung is crying into saeran's arms as saeran holds back tears. jaehee is crying bc she and y/n coordinated the entire thing and shes happy but also feeling stressed.

dinner is buffet style, and lucifer's attention and energy is now directed toward beel. this is a formal human event and not one of diavolo's parties where people are used to him hogging everything down...

but y/n was smart enough to help get the brothers' table to be seated next to the buffet so after all the other tables get their food beel could secretly go ham

the first interaction between rfa and the brothers happen between lucifer and v

v could see that lucifer was kinda struggling and decided to check in on him before checking in on the other guests

they end up talking a lot. mostly about how they both lied to their respective squads to try to protect them from the truth

lucifer of course tones the story down and doesnt give away that they r demons, though

y/n saw levi all pissy alone at the table so they grabbed yoosung and introduced him to levi. they were awkward at first but once yoosung mentioned LOLOL levi was all ears and they bonded over different games

y/n stays a bit to make sure levi doesnt reveal anything sus

meanwhile, asmo is flirting with zen. complimenting his singing from earlier as well as his rat tail

zen mentions that asmo's skin is glistening and the two of them go crazy over different skincare brands

asmo may or may not have accidentally said that he uses a lamb blood and aloe vera mixture yes i just made that up which confused zen but zen's reaction further confused asmo until asmo remembered !! im in the human world

so he played it off as a joke and told zen that he shouldnt furrow his eyebrows much otherwise he'll wrinkle quicker

as saeran walks to the ice cream station next to the buffet he sees beel holding an entire tray of fish with a suspicious looking belphie standing next to him

when belphie and saeran lock eyes the energy in that corner of the room turns so dark that you could see storm clouds forming over them : ◉ ∧ ◉ : ╏

anyway jaehee, like v, was checking in with the guests when she spots mammon investigating a gold doorknob

mammon nearly shits himself when jaehee taps him on the back and asks him if he is okay

satan compliments elizabeth the third when he sees jumin petting her on the balcony. they talk about cats for a while and jumin tells satan that he enjoys the company of another man elizabeth deems worthy to be in her presence

by the end of the night

everyone is helping with cleaning up the ballroom after all the other guests have gone

jumin thinks that beel is cool, since he ate all the food provided as well as the mochi party favors

mammon volunteers to take home all of the extra centerpieces and decorations. before lucifer says no, mc and seven tell mammon hes more than welcome to take them all home. it would just sit in their house and collect dust, anyway

when everyone is back in their hotel room (y/n stays with jaehee for the night so mc and saeyoung can get it on) yoosung invites levi to play some games with him in his room

zen shares a room with yoosung and eagerly watches the two boys playing

asmo needs to follow his sleeping schedule so he peacefully goes to sleep while dreaming of not-so-appropriate things. he’ll be back on his bullshit tomorrow

lucifer is trying to help mammon figure out a way to organize all the freebies he got to prevent all of it from falling everywhere when they go back to devildom. he also sets a centerpiece aside for diavolo to keep. cute!

belphie is knocked out and so is beel (food coma)

satan stays with jumin for a bit, wanting to be around elizabeth the third a bit longer, then returns to his room around 2am. he sees that levi isn’t back in the room and texts for him to return soon.

tomorrow A-side / tomorrow B-side

@blazhy this got so long and im so sorry in advance 😔

the story of the two endings is a whole mess. i set out to write a story where akira and akechi reunite, akira becomes incredibly angry with akechi after reuniting post-royal, and in the original premise, akira just absolutely tears him apart--even moreso than he already does in B-side, because the original conceit was an angry fistfight and then horny makeouts. LMFAO. and then, i think, i vaguely imagined that akira would tell akechi to leave him the fuck alone, at least for a little while, while akira figured his emotions out.

also, i imagined that the story would be about 2-3k long, so as you can see by the fact that both editions of tomorrow are longer than 17k, you can see how this did not work out. LOLOL.

so with this premise in mind, i tried to figure out how they’d get to such a falling-out argument, and started with a external third person pov about the phantom thieves noticing how sad akira was after akechi left. i scrapped that because i feel a type of way about stories that center around validating the main character’s pain, switched to close-third person, started throwing around super mournful, angry, and generally upset paragraphs about how akira felt with akechi gone, which later became the sections nearer to the end (e.g. his dream about akechi’s funeral).

i really liked the strain of “akira daydreams about all the ways that the reunion could go, only for the actual reunion to be a total letdown/wake-up call,” so i kept writing the passages about his daydreams and how they eventually became more and more exhausted from the strain of waiting. and because i kept chasing that thread, it turned into the whole 16k saga that’s up on ao3.

around the midway point, i realized that the original ending wasnt going to work, because the original ending seemed weirdly fantastical and too picture perfect, especially after 16k of words about akira imagining picture-perfect scenarios where everything works out, and it felt wrong to play right into his fantasies of a reunion where things turn out alright.

so about the midway point, i came up with a series of different ideas that later became the B-side ending--rather than necessarily an argument that turned into an emotional reunion, maybe something less fantastical. in one of these endings, akira says he’s tired of being in love with goro, which finally sparks a conversation about their feelings. (i did not write this because it was a hugely guilt trip move on akira’s part. it made sense considering akira’s very very long wait for three years, but it made me want to gag, thinking about akira throwing his feelings at goro like goro is responsible for them.) in another one, akira apologizes for being in love with him (i dont remember WHY this was a thing). these were kind of floating around in my head, but it was ultimately all iterations of “akira and goro have some sort of argument but not in a horny way” at the end of the fic.

so a whole good chunk of the fic was written with an argument ending (essentially B-side) in mind: i wrote the scene in the jazz club with that in mind, as well as the strains in the fic about akira feeling like akechi was the one person he could be honest with, and a bunch of stuff about how much both akechi and akira appreciated and depended on each other to disagree with them.

but by the time i had gotten all my sections in order and written them back to november 2019, when the reunion was supposed to take place, i felt... really weird about the B-side ending. i’d basically dug my own grave, because i’d written 16k of akira slowly realizing that maybe he had to let akechi go after all, and the original ending didnt make any sense. and it felt really weird as an ending for the same reason i scrapped the original premise: it seemed like bad form to play into the idea that they’d reunite and everything would turn out alright, especially after all that time of akira imagining ridiculous and unrealistic lovesick daydreams. it doesnt make any sense to have a story about akira daydreaming and then end with more daydreaming.

*through gritted teeth* so i. had to put on my big boy pants. and admit. that i’d written myself into a corner. and i was narratively obligated. by virtue of pushing back against akira’s silly daydreams. to write an ending. where shuake. does NOT resolve everything. and instead. *grits teeth louder* their reunion goes disastrously. and. they break up. and. *grits teeth loudest* go their separate ways. for the foreseeable future.

i wrote it and was immediately so fucking devastated with my own ending that i DM’d vintgecassette like oh god please read this thing and tell me what you think of the end (please tell me that there is another option) and she was like “no actually this ending makes sense. im crying but it makes sense” to which i dramatically fell upon my knees and had to accept that i’d written SEVENTEEN THOUSAND WORDS about shuake reuniting after royal only to have them IMMEDIATELY BREAK UP.

i hated it instantly. i talked to kat about it some more and told her about the other ending ideas i had, and somewhere in that conversation she said that the B-side ending sounded actually really cool, since there was already lots of good foreshadowing for the ending set in place, and also because goddamn if anyone should open up a bit, it’d be akira “i dont talk about my feelings” kurusu. (again, i wrote most of the fic intending for the B-side to be the ending, so it made sense.) so i was like owo? and pulled all my scrapped content for the B-side back out of the Trash and started reworking it purely out of spite for the A-side, despite the fact that the A-side existed in the first place as a pushback against the B-side.

i think this is a very longwinded way of saying that i posted both endings because i thought both of them, if by itself, was just ridiculous. a sad ending like A-side felt like meaningless sad feelings unless there was a universe where things could have been better. B-side felt unrealistic without acknowledging that things could and maybe should have turned out for the worse. of course, this is just how the endings game to be written, and i think the effect they have is more complicated--ive read some really cool comments on what people feel and think about the endings, and i think all those interpretations all extremely cool and extremely valid.

tldr, i dont actually know how to write and everything was a mistake. thanks for the ask, im sorry again this is so long 😔

Southern waterbending

You know what upsets me the most when it comes to war?

All the knowledge that’s just quietly destroyed, with no way of ever being recovered.

This makes me so damn sad and upset, and the example that comes to the forefront of my mind (and also what I’m going to discuss) is from the universe of Avatar the Last Airbender;

Southern-style waterbending.

Since the only ones who’ll read this are people that’s part of this fandom I don’t have to explain all that much.

But we all know Firelord Azulon ordered for the capturing of the Southern water tribe’s waterbenders, and as of the beginning of season 1 the only waterbender in the entire South Pole is Katara.

Since there are no master waterbenders in the South Pole, Katara has to go to the North Pole in order to learn and master waterbending.

This is all made clear in the show itself and I didn’t reflect on it cause duh, of course she has to go the place that actually have waterbenders.

The thing is that she learns the Northern style of waterbending, not Southern. (for obvious reasons but just wanted to make it clear)

That isn’t made as clear in the show, and I know I didn’t give it a second thought until S2E10 (the Library) and Wan Shi Tong delivers this line;

“Your waterbending won’t do you much good here. I’ve studied Northern waterstyle, Southern waterstyle, even Foggyswamp style”

Sokka immediately after is hilarious but not the point

Now this, this, is when I first went “woah, hold up - how the fuck is anyone supposed to learn Southern waterstyle bending?? All the benders are gone!”

And I mean this became a legit concern for me - I don’t want Southern waterbending to just disappear, but there isn’t anyone around who knows it anymore so what the frick is gonna happen.

Then comes S3E8 - The Puppeteer.

The minute everything is out in the open Hama offers to teach Katara what she knows and Katara is thrilled to learn more about her heritage.

I am too, because yay the Southern style won’t just disappear it’s party time!!!

And then it’s here! We’re at the edge of our seats, ready to learn all about another side of waterbending and-

She doesn’t bring up the Southern style. at. all.

Like yes okay, knowing how to survive in a foreign country is important but that’s not the heritage lesson I was expecting! (whining) I was expecting Southern waterbending!!

And it just frustrates me to no end that because Hama’s gone so is any chance of Southern waterstyle existing for the rest time!!

But then the solution came to me! (two actually, and I did get some inspo from different posts around the fandom for the Zuko one, but I haven’t seen the Aang one anywhere so Imma just take credit for it as of now lolol)

Solution 1:

- Zuko is looking through the vaults where most of the loot from the war is kept in search of something (don’t know exactly what)

- he’s doing it himself, cause frankly he’s in need of a break from his duties and he doesn’t really trust anyone else to do this

- after hours of fruitless searching he’s become quite irritated and is more forceful than he was when he began

- huffing, he tears open an ordinary looking chest and finds it filled to the brim with scrolls upon scrolls

- he groans as he knows he’s going to have to read each one, and after a few seconds of finding strength and resolve he begins the tedious work

- muttering under his breath he rolls out the first scrolls and to his surprise they’re filled with waterbending forms

- a bit more alert and curious he looks through more of the scrolls, and each one is filled with waterbending forms

- after thinking it through for a few seconds he shrugs and decides to give them to Katara, they don’t exactly do much use here and she will probably appreciate them

- a few weeks passes by before he has an opportunity to hand them over

- Katara rises an eyebrow at the chest he puts down by her feet, but he only gestures for her to look

- so she does

- the first scroll she picks up shows forms she’s never seen before and she teasingly congratulates Zuko on managing to find her waterbending forms she hasn’t known existed (“Very impressive, since I’ve at least seen practically every waterbending form out there”)

- she hasn’t seen any of the forms on the second scroll either, and she kind of starts to knit her eyebrows together in confusion

- nor has she seen any of the forms from the third scroll

- or the fourth

- or fifth

- or sixth

- by now she’s majorly confused and kind of scared cause what the fuck is this because she should have recognized at least one form by now, but nothing rings a bell

- knowing she probably won’t recognize any of the others either she decides to send one of the scrolls to Pakku to see if he recognizes them

- Pakku is at first just as confused as Katara and is examining the scroll when one of the elders walks by and throws a look at it over his shoulder

- “Oh, I remember watching the waterbenders perform the annual Solstice performance with these forms when I was just a little girl! It was magical”

- Pakku. just. freezes

- “Wait are you- are you saying that these are Southern style waterbending forms?!”

- the elder looks confused

- “There’s a difference between Northern and Southern waterbending? But yes, I especially remember that one -“ (points at a random form) “- it was a sight to behold when performed right, I can tell you that!”

- the elder then walks on with a small smile on her face, stuck in her memories

- Pakku on the other hand is just shellchocked at this discovery and unable to move

- when he does wake up from his trance he scrambles after a quill and some parchment to write back to Katara about this, knowing how important it will be to her since she’s the only Southern Waterbender left

- Katara gets the letter a few days after and practically collapses

- Zuko, whom was conveniently passing by the room Katara’s staying in at the palace, hears a lot of crashing from inside

- thinking an assasination in undercurrent he bursts into the room, fists flaming, only to find Katara on her knees with a letter in hand and the furniture in the room knocked down on the floor

- immediately putting out the fire on his hands he scrambles to console her which he does very awkwardly cause he’s still new to this but he’s trying and he’s just adorable

- when he can’t get a response from Katara he gently takes the letter and reads it himself

- and is left just as speechless

- but when he looks at Katara again, he panics

- cause tears are rolling slowly down her face, and he has no freaking idea what do to

- but as the tears roll faster and faster, and sobs racks her body she solves the problem herself by throwing her arms around Zuko

- he stiffens, unsure of what exactly to do but eventually wraps his own arms around her

- they stay like that for awhile, not talking but rather just calming down

- the silence is broken when Katara starts to chuckle

- chuckle

- Zuko is flabbergasted and very confused because she was just crying and now she’s chuckling but still crying and oh god what’s going on

- “Are- are you okay, Katara?”

- “I’m more than okay Zuko! Thanks to you the Southern waterstyle won’t die, it will live on”

- Zuko’s mouth forms an ‘O’-shape and Katara chuckles a bit more at his cute expression

- “Just this shows how different you are to your father - he would have burned them, but you saved them, gave them to me and now I can learn about my heritage! The Southern waterstyle bending will live on and it’s all thanks to you!”

- “I wouldn’t sell you too short either”

- then they just smile at each other

(alternatively Zuko was looking for Southern waterbending scrolls from the beginning as a present to Katara and knows what they are when he founds them)

(and Zutara is definitely canon)

Scenario 2:

- This time instead of Zuko wanting to find a present for Katara, it’s Aang who wants to

- he wants the perfect gift and is willing to go to any lengths to find it

- even if it means putting himself at danger

- he knows how disappointed Katara was when Hama didn’t really teach her anything of the Southern waterstyle bending

- so he decides to venture into the Spirit World

- more exactly to Wan Shi Tong’s library

- his goal is to convince the spirit to allow him to take the scrolls featuring Southern waterstyle bending

- which he knows will be probably impossible because Wan Shi Tong hates him after last time

- but he does it anyway, because Katara deserves to know about her heritage and this is the only solution as to how

- he stands outside the library a few seconds too much, trying to scrape up whatever courage he can find

- it’s barely anything

- knowing he can’t stall much longer without someone realizing he’s gone he enters the library

- immediately Wan Shi Tong is there, staring down at him with hard, unforgiving eyes

- “I haven’t the faintest clue why you’re even here Avatar - I thought I made it clear that you nor any human for that matter is welcome to my library”

- Aand bows to the ground, pressing his forehead to the floor

- “Honorable knowledge spirit, I know and understand I misused the trust you so graciously put in me and my friends last time we entered your library. - Wan Shi Tong is silent for a long time, scrutinizing and analyzing the young Avatar, trying to find what his real purpose of the knowledge is

- he finds nothing but honesty, sincerity and a want to make someone happy

- so against his better judgement he lets Avatar Aang collect the scrolls he has on the topic

- Aand beams up at this gigantic spirit as if it was an old friend and happily skips along

- “Oh, do you wish to come with me? So that you can see that I only collect the right scrolls? Besides, the faster I find them the faster I’ll be out of your hair!”

- Wan Shi Tong blinks once

- twice

- thrice

- “That’s quite alright Avatar, I’ll just send one of my foxes with you. But I appreciate your willingness to prove yourself”

- a fox appears and Wan Shi Tong disappears into the depths of the library, his silhouette the last Aang ever sees of him

- Aang quickly befriends the little fox who’s been assigned to him and they play while walking towards the waterbending section

- they quickly collect every scroll and book and scrap of paper they can find on Southern Waterbending before Aang takes his leave after hugging the fox

- before leaving he whispers a thank you into the library, and bows as well as he can with everything he’s carrying

- he doesn’t get an answer but he feels a lot lighter leaving then arriving, a sense of truce coming over him

- the fox watches the Avatar leave with droopy ears since his playmate has to go - he hasn’t had that much fun in a long time! - but also feels the satisfaction of a job well done as the Avatar seems happy

- the fox still wishes he could have stayed though, but he’s used to people arriving only to leave

- Aang on the other hand quickly makes sure he gets back to his body and the material world, feeling incredibly happy with the weight in his arms

- a week later it’s time to give Katara the present and Aang nervously bites his nails as she opens it, snickering at how nervous he his

- “Relax Aang, I’ll love it no matter what!”

- she finally opens one of the scrolls and throws a look at it

- “Ohh, waterbending scrolls! Neat, thanks Aang!”

- “Uhm, they’re eh, actually they’re not regular waterbending scrolls per se but rather, uhm, waterbending scrolls that show Southern waterstyle forms”

- he sheepishly rub his neck while Katara gapes at him

- “They’re- but how?- where?-“

- “Uhm, I kind of, maybe, sorta went into the spirit world and entered Wan Shi Tongs library and managed to convince him to give me the information he had on Southern waterbending and we became buddies or not really buddies more like we formed a truce but I did find a friend in one of the foxes and-“

- “You went into Wan Shi Tongs library?!”

- Katara punches him for that because “goddammit are you stupid Aang, you could have died and not even this is worth to pay the price of you dying!”

- she immediately hugs him afterwards though, long and tight because this idiotic little goofball did it for her and she couldn’t be more grateful or happy

- Aang happily returns it, having enough sense to pretend Katara isn’t sniffling cause he knows she trie to hide it

- Afterwards they immediately start to practice and it turns into a routine; they learn some new forms, discuss what differs the most from Northern waterstyle and also similarities

- they both enjoy it very much and has a lot of fun while practicing

Yeah so here Kataang is canon

(Psst, the good thing is that in either of those you can just pretend that they aren’t together if you don’t ship it)

right, youd be coming to the southern west coast of the US. if covid wasnt a thing we’d go to a bunch of museums but ART, we are artists 🥰we’d also go to all the open air malls which are super cool and just fun to walk around and window shop. theres the beach for like beachy things lol, more touristy things. but theres also the mountains for hiking and being one with nature. there are a few observatories and telescopes within 2 hour roadtrips and those are cool becuase SPACE and just their location on top of super cool mountains for all the views you could ever want.

And other such updates!

If you want the tl;dr, here it is: my mental health isn’t in the greatest place right now, and I figured I ought to explain why I must ask you for continued patience for the snail speed on this blog. I’m not announcing official hiatus, but just know that I...might continue to be pretty scarce, but I’m trying my best to be here and to be writing here. To hopefully get me more active here, I plan on dropping a few threads and cleaning out my dash re: people who follow me but aren’t writing with me. You’re more than welcome to keep following me if I unfollow you, and if you want to write with me and just haven’t gotten the chance and would like me to re-follow you, pls just go ahead and shoot me an im. I will be making a separate post about both those things, it’s just that I can’t deal with how fast my dash is moving at the moment.

If you care for the long version, under the cut so as to not bother everyone else!!! Be warned that it’s uh...it’s l o n g. TW for depression and anxiety and the general things my brain does to me lolol.

Wow I haven’t used the post title function in a l o n g time. Anyway, hi, it’s me, Ro, your friendly neighborhood mun of a 20+ muse mumu. Don’t let the kind-of-serious format scare you - nothing bad is happening. I just have a few things that I felt the need to address that have been happening either in my life or just in my screwed up brain :D Buckle in and get ready for the ride, I guess?

Starting with something y’all already know about - I’ve not been here a lot recently. I joke about that a lot, but really, if you catch the pattern, my activity here is: exclusively after 10 pm, 2 drafts at most a day, inbox straight up clogged from like a month ago. IMS basically desolate, because I haven’t worked up the courage to pick them back up since I last forgot about them in the endless stream of things I had to do about a month ago! (that being said, uh, if you want to talk to me your best bet is probably through discord. Ro#6782 - pls, mutuals only, and tell me who you are!)

And - because I h a t e being that mun that reblogs memes and asks for for them and then never answers their askbox / puts out starter calls when she has 10000 drafts / puts out plotting calls when she has unanswered ims, (no problem at all when other people do this but somehow when it’s m e I’m like “no you’re a terrible person”???? hmmm), I’ve also been avoiding t h o s e. If you’re new and you followed me in the last month, I’ve been putting out n o t h i n g that indicates a willingness to interact with new/more people, while the opposite is true. I’m always willing to interact - if I follow back, I want to write with you, only, well, aforementioned issue aside, I also have m o r e problems.

Namely, IRL and the fucked up thing called my brain.

As most of you know, I got a job ~end of may or early juuuune~ and....well it’s pretty damn time consuming. I can’t have my phone during the course of my job - by the way, 4 hours - and so in those 4 hours (from 4 pm to 8 pm) I can basically get nothing done here. Then there’s also the fact that the time my shift is placed mentally and physically drains me a lot. Because it starts at 4, most of my morning is spent thinking “god I don’t wanna go to work” and because it ends at 8, most of my evening is spent trying very hard not to doze off. It also drains me a lot socially - I work at a call center, and all day I’m basically calling people who don’t want me to call them and are very irate even when they pick up, and uh, that already doesn’t do well for my anxiety haha.

The other thing, of course - is my sort-of-seasonal depression. Winter tends to equate to anxiety for me, and summer tends to equate to depression. Again, I think I’ve joked about this a lot, but I apparently can only do drafts when I have 3 finals tomorrow and I haven’t studied for any of them. When it’s break, I get into a really weird slump - when i wake up in the morning, I don’t really want to wake up, and sometimes just stare at the wall for like, an hour. Nothing that I enjoyed during the other months, I seem to enjoy doing now. There’s too much time and too little time. It’s like i spent the whole day doing absolutely nothing meaningful but I can’t break myself out of the cycle so I keep doing that, rinse and repeat day after day, and sometimes my definition of spending time is just lying down in bed again and doing nothing for an hour randomly in the middle of the day. I feel guilty for wasting time as much as I am clueless as to how to fill it in a fulfilling way. “But Ro, you could do drafts!” A Concerned Person May Say. “You like writing!” Well, Kind Person, on some of these days, absolutely n o t h i n g Sparks Joy.

“But Ro, I follow you on your other blog too!” The Concerned Person might continue.“You’re kind of active there, aren’t you?” And the answer, Kind Person who supported my career even if that blog is mostly obscure af fandoms - is yes. I am kind of active on my other blog, @storyblcd. This brings us to the third and final reason why I’m.....moving at snail’s speed here, and that, my good friend - is anxiety. Well, mixed with a certain amount of mental exhaustion, of course. Note: this is n o t anyone’s fault. People’s interactions with me have not been negative - and they are not responsible for how my brain chooses to reaact to it.

I’ve not lost muse for the muses on this blog, per se - but I’m getting burned out really fast writing them, for multiple reasons. First, muse imbalance. Now I know, I definitely k n o w - that sometimes people like one muse more than another, or have more interest in writing with one or the other, and I get that. I’ve said multiple multiple times that that is p e r f e c t l y fine. But honestly the reason I’ve lasted so long on a multimuse is because I can pick which muse I have muse for when, and I can respond accordingly / ask for interactions accordingly. But when I get so many people coming at me at once for the o n e muse when I have t w e n t y it sometimes gets a little? Discouraging? It makes me question whether or not only that one muse is popular for a reason. It also exhausts me re: the portrayal of that muse, because I”m putting out so many replies for that muse in a lot of sort of similar plots/scenarios that I just get burnt right out. And then I get scared that if I keep going I’ll want to drop the muse, so I’m staying away from those threads a little bit.

Second, I’m at a point in my portrayal of certain muses where I feel like there’s a certain expectation for how it’s going to be. My personal feelings aside, I think every mun expects their own portrayal to be different and unique and exciting - and it’s not different for me, only now I feel like the expectation and the pressure of coming up with something good and meaningful outweighs the feeling of exploration as I’m “discovering” the muse. Like most writers - I still crave validation, though more and more lately, I’m at a place in my writing where I f e e l like me from 2 months ago could have probably done a better job. While it’s not necessarily true, and these pressures are coming from m e and not any outside source, I f e e l like I have to consistently Make Good Writing, and simultaneously feel like some days I sit down and I try to do drafts and all I write is garbage. It just - doesn’t feel the same? So - more and more, I’m staring at the empty drafts page and then closing it - because if I don’t w r i t e I don’t have to admit I peaked two months ago.

Both of these reasons have made me rather a bit avoidant of my muses here / this blog. Now, I’ve been struggling with anxiety for long enough that I know that a lot of this is - well, p r o b a b l y just my brain lying to me. See even as I’m writing this post now, my anxiety is saying “haha guess what n o one cares you’ve been gone” and my rational Anxiety-is-a-stupid-asshole voice is saying “nahhhhhh your brain is probably just lying to you.” But! In the battle, anxiety is kind of pummeling me now. I will r i s e again and win the war, most likely - but for now it’s anxiety: 1 and ro: 0.

AND finally - if you made it all the way down here, you’re a c h a m p. The solution! Well, as much of a solution as I’m hoping to get anyway - we’ll have to see if it implements well. I’m going to unfollow a few blogs so I can get my dash cleaner/more organized/less fast-moving and b r e a t h e. I’m going to drop a couple of threads, I might make a couple more muses request only/exclusive only for the like 2 people that have threads with them, I might drop a couple muses (though I don’t think this will really happen, Idk tho). There will be separate posts on those things coming soon, this is just to notify y’all. Oh boi where do I start...he absolutely loves making you blush and won’t stop until he’s satisfied (never). He really loves your wild gesturing and approachable nature. You don’t have to worry about your anxiety for this man will immediately figure your feelings out and comfort you if needed (reliable af).

Okay so yay for a tribe swap but uhm it's kinda homophobic that not only am I not on a tribe with Dani or Ryan, but that I can't even speak to them now!! I'm still drinking with Dani on Saturday though so suck it hosts. This tribe is alright, like I said not my favorite set up but I don't feel completely screwed. I'm with Joey which is good because he's loyal to me, but people are going to assume we're working together since he picked me, also he isn't good at talking to new people so idk if that's gonna end up bad for us lolol. But yay for being on a tribe with Sarah! Idk she's iconic and I'd like to work with her. I talked to Andreas for a bit and he was nice, I'd hope we could work together. I started talking to Junior again before the swap so I don't feel completely off on him. Billy is the only one I've barely talked to, but he was on Sarah's old tribe so I think they're gonna stick together??? I just hope that we can win some challenges so that I don't have to worry.

Okay so last night I was on call with Joey and he was like "someone told me you wanted to vote me out round 1" and I was like yeah it's true but you didn't have to say it. And big surprise it was Keaton that told him this. Heya, time for a little update! As of now, I am getting a little frustrated with my tribe (love Jake though). But before I get carried away, let's see how well we do in the immunity challenge. Well look at it, we lost again. Great! Just great! And people seem to be thrilled to go to Tribal Council! They're so excited that they throw the challenges! So me being a straight shooter, I immediately target Billy, who has slacked the most on this new tribe and would be a fair call (on paper). But it's only natural that people have their own agenda and I am being targeted by Joey and Billy at least. Sure, Joey might still be up in the air, but either way, I NEED to believe in Jake and Junior here to vote for for Billy, or I am toast. And if Billy doesn't step up next round, so are Jake and Junior. I have nothing against Billy, but this season we don't really get along too well. We had a fun chat today, but it felt like it was too little to late for me in this season. Let's see what happens in this mess of a round :D Love Johnny though, I don't blame him. Ok, so as per usual in premerge, my fate rests within other peoples hands. That's just how I play and that's totally okay with me. I honestly think they’re all real and my conscious life is just a villain keeping me at bay.

I have so many talents!!! Like I can’t even describe how talented I can be!!! I am a phenomenal musician. My best instruments are mallet-piano-like ones: Glockenspiel, Xylophone, Marimba, and Vibraphone etc.. I have been playing the violin since I was 4 and while I’m not a master at it I can carry a tune. I am a pretty great singer (so I think at least) and sound exactly like Mandy Moore. I was also the drum major for my marching band (the person who conducts). I can also play the alto saxophone and to a much lesser extent: all woodwinds. I love music so much!!! I can also act and improv really well! I’ve been in many school plays but never as a main character so I don’t know for sure, but I’ve been the leader of the chorus many, many times. I’m a great manager!!! I won an award for the best crew head for costumes (which is my dream job) which is costume management and backstage quick changes! And if I don’t sound egotistical enough, I’m very good at it. And finally (I promise) I’m really amazing with numbers. I can memorize dates and sequences really well and recite them almost rhythmically (like music and I also think this is why I’m good at music). you guys pass more time just talking and stuff

and putting on songs and dancing to them it’s Good Fun

he makes you take his bed and sleeps on the floor in a sleeping bag

you feel awful about it though so when you’re sure he asleep you go find the other sleeping bag and take your pillow and sleep beside him on the floor

he’s super shook when he wakes up but when he realizes that you didn’t want him to be lonely on the floor his smile is as bright as the sun

texts his friends for help on how to cook a nice breakfast

by this time you’re awake and just like “ok let me handle breakfast”

the two of you just end up eating plain rice and eggs (because you aren’t confident in your kitchen skills) and giggling over the crappy pictures you’re taking of each other eating

the moment you walk in the first thing that happens is that haechan pulls you into a hug

the second thing that happens is he holds you at an arm’s length, looks you straight in the eyes, and goes “we have to make a pillow fort”

after putting your bag down on the kitchen he basically drags you to the living room

the couch gets pushed back against the wall, the coffee table is moved to the side and chairs are moved back so there’s just a big floorspace directly in front of the tv

like after the fort is finished and there are blankets above your heads and you’re both changed into makeshift pjs (just shorts and shirts tbh) and theres pillows around the fort’s perimeter and the tv is on he’ll like

grab whatever you’re currently eating and hold it up and whenever you lean over to reach it he’ll just lean back or move it just out of your reach again

once its done neither of you can breathe from laughing so hard

while trading stories from the past couple weeks

the second time is because you have to bring pillows up

its still kind of light out when you guys get up on the roof so you pass time by taking selfies and talking and stuff

its cold af outside and youre freezing despite your jacket so jaemin bundles the both of you up in a blanket (or 4)

a quick breakfast is had while everyone takes turns brushing/showering/changing and it hits 10 am quicker than expected

everyones sad when you have to go back home but!! you all had fun and thats what counts

Episode 5 - “someone literally thought the word rocks and you switched your vote” - Trent

After nuObor killed Kenny, the two tribes merged onto a one world beach, where they learned they would reward a member of the other tribe individual immunity. Upon the merge, the Cahaya kumbaya continued (or so it seemed) with the returnees engineering the challenge results in their favour. Otherwise they compared notes on all the newbies, making the season seem as if it was going to be a returnee steamroll.

When Matt & Isaac won immunity, it was revealed that they would in fact attend the opposite tribe’s tribal council as infiltrators. On NuCahaya, the returnees quickly got on the same page, and given Anabel & Trent’s success in ingratiating themselves with the returnees, Dylan became the easy scapegoat vote and was unanimously sent out.

On NuObor... people were cracking. Owen, who had been sceptical of Foxx since round one, when faced with an alternative of voting out Canadian queen Lorelei, rallied the troops to get Foxx out. Though the plan almost hit a snag when Foxx accidentally made it seem like he had heard of the plan, Foxx (and the entire nuCahaya tribe) were blindsided, with Foxx being sent out the door.

Kenny was literally the one I wanted to leave so woohoo! No offense Kenny but you just seemed like the biggest threat!! Whew what a relief now we outnumber them on both tribes hehe

Well this twist really sucks. I am really hoping there is 2 different tribals and not one big one. Because if theres one big one i might be screwed. If there are two and only 7 vote, then i can work with that. I just gotta put on my social hat and be everyones friends but not toooo friendly or then ill be a target. but again. i really hate this twist.

How...how did we convince a tribe I was a minority in to unanimously vote off one of their own? And all three of them specifically want to work with me?? These newbies gave away their chance of gaining a majority. AND I connect back with my old tribemates in the One World twist. I got to meet Anabel, Dylan, & Trent. I got drunk af on call (not really) and apparently Trent is smart but would turn on his tribemates and Dylan is nice but inactive. With this weird twist I’m thinking the person who gets voted for the most from the other tribe is an Infiltrator. With merge approaching we’ll see.

MATT

Alright so leading up to tribal council, it became kinda obvious Kenny would be going home. Not because i put in effort to stay, but because the newbies were scared to go to rocks. So they caved in and voted out Kenny with us unanimously. Kenny voted for me which is whatever. It didn’t phase me at all since i knew it was coming. But It was a nice feeling knowing the other three gave up on their tribe so quickly. With them doing so, Stoner joins our tribe and we now hold a 4-3 majority on both tribes. So effectively we could do anything we wanted to. I think the four of us on NuObor can work really well together. So hopefully moving forward, we can win immunity and stay strong.

Last tribal went rlly well, I got what I wanted, it was Gucci. I set myself up so well on this tribe to be between Leigh/Chris/Lorelei and Stoner/Foxx/Matt. I rlly worked to build trust with the newbies and it clearly paid off since they gave up the numbers and took one of their own. The only thing bothering me is that foxx, who I would want to flip on, got put in the alliance with me Leigh and chris..... But now this twist kind of comes and fucks with everything bc the original returnees tribe is working closely together ahhhh and they wanna do what they can to protect all 8 of us. I’m starting to feel torn because on the one hand I rlly like talking to olivia jess and Isaac. And matt. Like we had a ton of fun on call last night and I don’t wanna turn on those people. But on the other hand I really want to prove loyalty to chris O, Leigh and Lorelei. And I don’t rlly mind Trent and anabel either.,,, so it’s tough. I agreed to give Isaac and Matt the top positions on the lists, but then I went and told chris o and Leigh that the returnees were working together and that Matt would probably be immune. Leigh mentioned that ‘it would probably have to be lorelei’ then.... which got me rllll shook :( I don’t want any of those three out this round and I have no clue how to do this. To be honest, I’m hoping that the top two vote getters leave and we can send out Dylan and the newbies can take out a returner, hopefully michael or something. That’s best case scenario for me rn.... but I have no idea what to expect with the twist I spread myself too thin again :((( like always. But the difference this time is I generally like almost everyone and pretty soon I’m going to have to make some choices. What I need to focus on is, once merge come, where will I have the most options? I don’t want to stay returnee strong forever. I won’t!!!!! But I will protect olivia jess stoner Isaac and matt for as long as I can....

So this whole twist has been a wild ride. I REALLY wanted to be safe so I could set myself up a little bit here with the newbies and such. However, I also didn't want to be the one who pushed for my safety when no one else was. It's just a bad look and it's messy. I just HATE that i'm going to be forced to show my hands here. It's way too early to make a move against the vets. I'd be out-numbered and I'd lose Michael's trust. On top of it all..... I don't have a solid enough relationship with the newbies to fall back on. All of my interactions with them have been very surface level. PLUS, attempting to murder one of my "own kind" will give them an excuse to come after me before any of these newbies. It's almost USELESS for me to vote with Trent and the gang when both Anabel and Dylan RARELY talk game to me. I do feel bad for Trent though because I do want to work with him. I do also see how this move would help me in the long run. The vets are dangerous and there are a few REALLY dangerous vets in this game. I just don't know if I'm willing to shake things up at my expense this early in the game... BUT I may never get as good as a chance to get someone like Olivia again.

Trent came to me and said he thinks we have a really strong relationship and it’s like oh honey I’m so sorry I did not mean to lead you on but we’re just friendly we’re not ride or dies and now he’s sorta bagging on Jess TO MY FACE who is my number one in this game and ahsjshsjab. But maybe I should keep Trent around as a side piece if he trusts me 👀🧐 but I gotta tell my alliance what he’s saying bc I don’t trust him whatsoever so I’m just copying and pasting everything he sent to me to my alliance with Foxx, stoner, and Jess lmao and I’ll probably tell Isaac later

honestly/???? this twist turned out to make things a liiiil better for me than I was expecting. first of all, matt is safe which is good af and so is isaac. instead of having to deal with 8 votes due to infiltrator, there are only 7, which means my vote has more power bc majority is 4 instead of 5 yeehaw. but the fact that it is one world raises this complexity a shit ton and also the stakes. i know i need to be more careful with what I say. that being said, i was in no way careful with what I said tonight and basically told chris o. everything sakdfjhdskj i told him that the old cahaya's worked together for the challenge, and that I wanted foxx out over lorelei but if I had to vote stoner instead i'd do that too nnnn why am i a messy bitch. I rlly REALLY dont want stoner gone, its like not beneficial for my game at all. but really lorelei leaving doesnt help me either???? voting lorelei unanimously is the easy move without a doubt, and I'm sure that's what foxx is gonna want to push for because he is in the alliacne with me+leigh+chris and is in that other foursome with (side note - i stopped mid confessional to literally go and text chris o and tell him about the jess/foxx/stoner alliance oops1!1!) stoner. so that leaves lorelei as the only person he isn't aligned with as far as i know. technically im aligned with all five of my vote options butttt fuck it i feel like stoner would help me make a move against foxx honestly. if I could get leigh on board, it'd be set bc I feel like chris o would do it based on what he told me tonight and lorelei would want to save herself. its tricky as fuck right now.... because basically all chris o has to do is run to foxx/stoner and tell them I exposed everything and I'm gone. but honestly? idc!!!!!1 :) im here to have fun and do what I want. that's whaat I keep telling myself anyways lmao but the things I want hurt people I like, so where does that leave meeeee idk. if i can get stoner, chris o. woo so after tribal led to to a twist of One World. Both tribes came together on one beach and we had to rank the other tribe in terms of who we want to get immunity. So the 8 of us Cahaya members came together in our old tribe chat and started strategizing on who to give immunity to. Because we both have 4 members on both tribes, we can easily submit the same list which leads to two of us getting immunity. For the NuObor tribe, it quickly was between Stoner and myself (Stoner for being the newest member on the tribe, me for getting voted last time/beef with leigh. ). I obviously wanted immunity but couldn’t outright say it because i don’t think it would’ve sat well with the tribe. for NuCahaya, none of them seemed to want to give any kind of info up or who might need it. Eventually on sunday, Olivia and owen kinda took charge of the situation and said Matt (me) was gonna get immunity and we randomize it for the NuCahaya tribe, which ended up being Issac. And another twist which we expected, is that the both of us are the infiltrators for the round. So I’m voting with NuCahaya and Issac is voting with NuObor. As for the vote, we were discussing what would be best, and i suggested Lorelei but others thought she could be more useful later down the line. Which means it would be left between Leigh and Chris. And as right now, i think everyone knows i prefer Leigh to go. I don’t care if she overreacted and apologized and whatever. She made the big scene in the tribe chat. She put a target on my back. She snapped. She needs to go. Hopefully I can talk to Owen and make sure she could go home. As for NuCahaya, it seems they aren’t too fond of Anabel, so it’s likely she will be voted out. Anabel was one of the few people i knew coming into this game, but i wasn’t actually looking towards using that pre-existing relationship. She’s a nice girl and a good player, but i came into this game hoping to make bonds and move further with new friends and faces. So if she needs to be voted out, then so be it.

I told Isaac I had an idol and I deeply regret it he didn’t react maybe the way I thought he would but we also like cemented our friendship and ally ship tonight and he was the first one to actually talk about Cahaya members for real with me and not just like super sunshine. No one know my alliance with Matt and Owen is a thing like it’s something very unexpected and that’s kinda cool, also i don’t think anyone would expect fox stoner Jess and I to be together? And same with Isaac and I being close like I know the newbies know Cahaya are close knit for now but I don’t think any of my alliances are obvious which is cool. I’m just very paranoid and anxious this time around when I said I wouldn’t be lmao. But it’s weird like I feel that anxiety through the whole tribe like normally waiting for results isn’t too big a deal and you’d think we’d be excited about it but MAN we were buggggging out today it’s a really weird collective anxiety

So I just used a random list generator for the immunity challenge. I figured it didnt matter what I did anyway. Them giving it to matt was no surprise for us. Ostensibly it is Lorelei or Chris S going due to me/owen/foxx/chris o. But I would feel better about splitting up Owen and Foxx. And considering I voted out Foxx in our last game I would like to keep him this time. The problem is Owen seems protective of Lorelei which may go both ways. So it may have to be Foxx.. we will see.

There was like...a religious Coming to God experience about my being a furry last night. Like...Lorelei legit did NOT KNOW. I’m beginning to think these people did not watch my bio. My goal today is to try and take Lorelei out. I really don’t want to. It’s exhausting as hell to put so much energy in people I like to talk to just to watch them go. Lorelei is sweet and funny but I can’t sign away my chance to win this game. Chris O. apparently is trying to get Stoner to target us but tbh I don’t take it personally bc he knows he’s in a rough spot. These newbies are being pagonged on two separate tribes and I don’t blame them for being desperate. So I won immunity!!! We shittin' lads! This round has gone so well for me so far like? I'm nervous that this is about to go down so quickly. In other news I forged a Final 2 with Olivia and I genuinely like her so that's cool and in response to our call last night she told me she had an idol? Thas power luv xx. As for tribal these freaks wanna take out Lorelei as of right now? Like? What the fuck? Leigh is super smart and Chris is.......dead but like I don't quite understand how getting rid of Lorelei is in our best interests? But whatever - it's too early to make waves so - if that's who they want that's who I'll do. I'm trying to play this game and make myself look more aloof and/or dumber than I actually am because in the past I've shown how observant I can be and that got me sent packing but as of right now (even before I had immunity) It seems as if I'm not on anyone's radar. Which is how I obviously wanna keep it but I'm super nervous of the other vets (and Trevor/Anabel) as I know they're capable of striking first - which is fine as long as it's not on me or someone I'm working with - at the moment. But the risks of flipping right now - far outweighs the benefits because everyone on the favorites tribe has been holding their breath for so long and the first person to turn is going to get destroyed because they are (we are) looking for any reason to get rid of anyone.

I was freaking out lst night about what to do, then today it was like nobody even freaking TALKINNNGGGG which is so frustrating. I want to make things happen but I need other people to put in the work and rn chris stoner is NOT doing that. He's moved down a lot in terms of who I trust literally just bc he stopped paying attention the last few days. So now it seems like saving Lorelei comes with two options.... getting foxx to do stoner, or just grabbing the newbies and doing foxx. I wasnt sure if it would work bc I was beating around the bush but FINALLY chris o came to me and said leigh would be down but she wanted me to bring it up to her. So I did.... now it seems like lorelei, chris o and leigh will all be doing foxx, and my vote would make it a majority. Do I trust them all? i do. i really hope I can.
