Blu team guys v inspired by other blu team interpretations I’ve seen (Quazies, Emmet, several fanfics).

Info stuff under read more

Basically after the spy head was kidnapped and studied, the cat was out of the bag that Blu team is made up of clones with some genetic variations. They share the same memories as the Red team prior to the gravel wars, but red team cannot completely rule out that both teams arent made up of clones. Plus they get paid to kill each other repeatedly, so they go on fighting as normal except with some existentialism

General BLU team differences:

though the teams are more or less matched, BLU tends to lose more battles

Members are a lot more scarred up than Red on account that they got the technology for the medigun after red did

Heavy | Boris: Big Brother of the team. Very sociable and fond of the other members. If you have a problem, you go to Boris about it. His English is a little limited, but he's a great listener. He has a penchant for gardening. Gay for Blu Medic, but more in a QPR way.

Demo | Malcolm DeGroot: Less an alcoholic, more a workaholic. Quite obsessed with perfecting his craft as a demoman. Constantly urging everyone to work harder on the battlefield. The only way to get him to take time off is by dragging him kicking and screaming. Works closely with the Engineer on projects. Takes great pride in the payload bombs.

Medic | Hans Ludwig: much more socially awkward and timid in battle than the Red Medic. He prioritizes his work and ability to support the team way more than his own health. Only really opens up with Heavy and Engie, and sometimes Pyro. Gay for blu heavy and engie. (I called him Victor before but the name hans grew on me sry for the confusion)

Soldier | John Doe: Very goofy but in a more self aware way. He plays into his identity as a soldier, but doesn't take it quite as seriously as Red. He has a strong passion for animals and the wilderness. Would love to work as a national park ranger someday. He likes photographing wild animals and landscapes. Gay for Red Demo.

Sniper | Sammy Mundy: A rather polite young man. Sure he throws piss jars on the battlefield, but he's very respectful to his teammates. Takes a lot of care to keep his living space tidy. Washes his hands very thoroughly after every battle.

Pyro: Really not too different from Red's Pyro, mainly in that we know very little about them. Uses sign language to communicate (mainly with Engie and Spy).

Spy: Originally behaved much more like the Red spy, but experiencing firsthand the experiments that confirmed they were clones made him weird and existential. He became particularly more involved in the Blu Scout's life.

Scout | Chase: Quieter than Red's Scout most of the time, but becomes hella competitive on the battlefield. Very artistically inclined, and is particularly into street art. Looks up to Heavy and Spy.

Engie | Sid Conagher: Probably the closest thing the team has to a leader. MUCH less sociable than Red engie, though he's got the best head on his shoulders and takes his job very seriously. Gay for Blu Medic.

Modern au Headcanons!!

• Ira is straight up, completely fine, even supportive of Lenore as Annabel’s partner.

Annabel and Lenore coming back from a trip or something: Father, I’m home-!

Ira, running past Annabel: Ah! Lenore my boy, welcome home!

Lenore: Hello sir- wait, I don’t live here?

Ira: Ah, you might as well at this point! Annabel hurry up and make it official by putting a ring on the lad will you??

Annabel: *stares in wtf you never welcomed ME home with that much excitement* FATHER PLEASE STOP TALKING.

• Ira who was a closeted but not really gay man in 80’s. Clocking Lenore’s butch ass in as homo faster then everyone else.

Annabel: Oh! father, it’s finally time you’ve met Lenore.

Lenore, still with long hair tied into a braid but in a suit: Pleasure to meet you sir-

Ira, after observing Lenore for about 1.2 seconds: Oh, you are gay-

Annabel: FATHER-

Lenore, smiling, very caught off guard cause. She thought she was doing a very good job of acting hetero: What-?!

Ira: Oh, my apologies. Hello, nice to meet you. You are gay.

• Lucille and Theo disapprove of Annabel’s britishness immensely.

• Both the Vandernachts and Whitlocks are still big important business people here, but they aren’t exactly famous like people in the industry absolutely know who they are but they don’t have to like go incognito to get coffee at Starbucks or something.

•Every once in a while someone finds a picture of Lenore and @s The Vandernacht corporation account like “Man fuck the trains- I want the founder’s daughter to rail me instead.” And sometimes Theo sees it and goes “:l >:0” *blocked and reported* but takes a screenshot and sends it to Annabel to remind her his sister HAS OPTIONS SO WATCH YOUR SELF-

(One time the account in question may or may not have just been Annabel’s alt and she may or may not have made several thirst posts after getting a little too drunk after a shitty gala “Pet, stop laughing it isn’t funny-“)

• Berenice once made a “Your mom” joke while at Lenore’s house and Lucille fucking appeared out of thin air and scared the ever living hell out of her and Berenice has been too afraid to make another one since.

•Annabel used to be very good at hiding when she was drunk. But ever since dating Lenore she has found that it much harder to fake sobriety when all you wanna do is yell about your wife. She is a “LOOK AT MY WIFE!!” Drunk.

• Lucille has found all the misfits asleep in Lenore’s room multiple times and just… stopped questioning it after a certain point like “Go clean my daughter’s room but do it quietly try not to disturb the young cat like young man in there taking a nap Lord knows the kid needs it. I don’t think I’ve seen dark circles that bad since last i looked in the mirror.”

She would often find Berenice knocked out cold in Lenore’s bed, sometimes in Lenore’s clothes and one or thrice in there with Lenore herself- and was convinced that these two were dating. Berenice is just a cuddly bastard but it takes a while to convince Lucille.

• Lenore and Theo have matching tattoos Lenore shows her’s off with out much care but Theo hides his FOR DEAR LIFE- even tho like… Neither thad nor Lucillecan be bothered to care at this point-

+ Lucille was goth in her youth source: Trust me bro Lenore’s dark circles and natural air of sadness have got to be genetic or something

marauders headcanons

- james keeps hair ties on his wrist, it started with sirius but at this point everyone knows that if they need to pull their hair up james has got them covered

- james’ parents are stupid powerful, effie especially, but they prefer a quiet life and a peaceful little home. that’s why sirius’ parents let him leave. they aren’t necessarily afraid of effie, but they know trying to fight her would not end well

-the woman is insanely protective of her family, the second james set his eyes on sirius he was effie’s son, she would do anything to protect him

- james is also weirdly good at braiding hair, if regulus is seen walking around with intricate braids in his hair the group can assume that he and james were studying together

- james does not study, he just enjoys sitting with regulus, regulus has learned if he gives james a task he is more likely to keep quiet and therefore he lets james play with his hair

-they mostly all prefer red gummy bears so they just buy the red ones in bulk (pete likes the clear ones and marlene likes the green ones) (they have their own bags)

-sirius is not at all picky about music, one might assume that he listens to alt rock or anything similar, but he will truly appreciate anything

- sirius and regulus listen to a lot of classical french music and french rock, james listens to lots of spanish pop

- remus and lily swap books once they have finished reading them, fully annotated and marked up. it turns into somewhat of a book club within the entire group but pete is dyslexic and james, sirius, and dorcas have adhd so it takes them months to get through something. ( they just wanted to be included) (they all share an audible account) the larger book club reads one book every six months. lily and remus swap at least once a week.

- regulus and pandora have their own secret greenhouse where they grow flowers and fruits and vegetables, they use it as a art studio and a music studio. if regulus can’t be found he is in the greenhouse, despite being a ‘secret’ all of their friends know this. dorcas is not allowed in the greenhouse, neither are wormtail or prongs as their animagus forms

- sirius has a third nipple on his abdomen, he claims that it is a mole. Regulus was born with extra fingers that their parents had surgically removed. (inbreeding genetics)

- when sirius is stressed he goes for runs as padfoot, do not ask how many strays he has brought back with him (effie and fleamont have a dog, two cats, and a bird) (the rest of them are taken in by random families of friends or marlene’s grandparents who own a farm)

- peter hates cheese

- lily is a rock girlie, for absolutely not reason, but she will absolutely stop in the middle of a busy parking lot to pick up a random pebble because she liked it’s shape

- james and regulus have collections of rocks that she has gifted them

-they all wear remus’s jumpers, all of them. sirius steals one, james gets ahold of it, and from there it is untraceable. circulating throughout the friend group until remus or sirus forcefully take them back. james makes up for it by knitting him more.

- lily, remus, and james have “eat the rich” t-shirts (i am well aware that james is incredibly wealthy, so is he)

- regulus experiments a bit with eyeliner - james has a moment where his brain promptly shuts down as he considers if and how he might have died and gone to heaven

- regulus is COVERED in tattoos, barty bought himself a tattoo machine and he never got all that good at using it, regulus though is an artist. he has so many tattoos that he has lost count, and most of them he designed himself, pandora has drawn him a few and one is a doodle remus drew in the margins of a book

- sirius does not know where regulus gets his tattoos and has been begging for years for the name of his artist

-sirius is SO supportive of james and regulus’ relationship. he loves them both so much and he is glad that they make each other so happy, he is glad that regulus has found a home.

-this does not stop sirius from nagging about it, if the marauders have a group vote about something and james and sirius are on opposite sides sirius will say “you’re shagging my baby brother, you get no opinion” and james will usually relent

Genetic engineering, DNA modification, tested it on herself... Why would Jillian go through all this trouble? Adoption would be easier, surrogacy wouldn't be an issue for a woman with so much money, so why this devotion to medical science, to gene manipulation?

This doesn't seem very logical unless we take one step further in examining her characterisation as a sort of Virgin Mary character implied by her clothing and framing during season one: a man is never mentioned in connection to Michael's conception, either as donor or father... Possibly because Michael has no father. Jillian has made him up from scratch or, at least, using only her own genetic material.

This would surely equate to an awesome "medical marvel" and it would accomplish two additional things: first, it would account for just how sick Michael needs to be so that an extremely rare substance that doesn't even belong to this world can be his sole hope in surviving (the result of a miscalculation, an unforeseen mutated gene, some error in Jillian's design, the absence of something); and second, reproduction without the aid of man ("sinless", sexless) not only ties Jillian's character more closely to the theme of the holy mother, it also more strongly makes a Jesus figure out of Michael.

This is significant because it makes him into a designated saviour: Michael, too, "dies", crossing to "the other side" and later returning with the mission of saving humanity, which is the role he is sure he will play during all of season two. This story has been told before, the structure is the same and we all know it. He mirrors Christ in his being born of a woman untouched by man, in going beyond life and back, in being tasked by a higher power to act for others in his sacrifice. It is a destiny clearly written out for him, a classic narrative, a hero's journey neatly set up for Michael to accomplish and all he has to do is follow the script.

And yet, doing everything right, by the book, Michael ultimately fails.

If, according to all of the doubts awakened by the developments in Warrior Nun (is Adriel's realm not Heaven? Is he not an angel? Is Reya God? Is Jesus just as alien as Adriel? Etcetera), the Catholic church's teachings are all twisted, incomplete, when not simply ignorant of all that is true in spiritual, metaphysical matters, then this saviour narrative that constitutes the foundation of the institution itself is doomed — as well as whatever guidance it could supply.

I was discussing with @halobearerhavoc earlier about (among many other intriguing things) how myth informs the show and how it might predict Reya's fall, but also how that event would necessarily depart from how it plays out in the original myth. That is due to the fact that our protagonist here is Ava, a woman, and that this tiny little fact of sex alone forces a shift in how things are presented, in which values are prioritised, in how conflict is treated, escalated or resolved — this applies here as well.

Michael was the textbook redeemer, he was made for this, brought up by Reya with this explicit purpose and with the acquired conviction that he was the key to it all.

Ava, on the other hand, is a product of coincidence, of accident, of the unfathomable. She is already a rupture in tradition — dead and brought back, unknowingly, unwillingly the "usurper" of the halo, inserting herself in the line of bearers at random when she doesn't even seem to have any belief... Ava exists outside of tradition. To Michael's determined "Destiny", she is the one imbued with free will (it isn't out of guilt or duty that she returns to the Cat's Cradle, but through Mary's sympathy, through her own understanding and action). Ava is the unplanned factor, contrasted with Michael who was so planned that his life might have begun inside a Petri dish.

It isn't determinism that will save us, a mantle of glory woven by someone else wanting to place it upon our shoulders regardless of our own wishes; it isn't a decrepit institution or some despotic deity that will define us or what we do; it isn't the heavy, malodorous layers of ancient mould gathered over the endless tomes of Established Tradition or the carefully made calculations of arrogant scientists who think they can predict and explain and control everything.

Salvation cannot be through what Michael represents: an imposed duty, a stagnant, hackneyed story.

A story, we would do well to remember, which was already used to subjugate others, whatever its initial intentions might have been; Jillian certainly didn't predict what would be of her son and surely the primitive Christians didn't see into the future to understand what their devotion and their modes of its transmission would cause, yet it came to happen. The extermination of the Cathars, the persecution of pagans, the burning of "witches", the suppression of indigenous beliefs, activities and lives, to name but a few of the atrocities committed in the name of this one story...

So it cannot be Michael, embodying this narrative so well, that will bring about a fortunate ending to humanity's troubles.

Instead, salvation comes through Ava. She herself might be inhabited by a number of parallels with Christ, but she also carries freedom, an outsider's view which makes the inside so see-through, love, an ability to move outside of what had been previously set for her by someone else (one might even argue that these are the traits that made Christ before the story surrounding him came about)...

The walls built around her needn't contain her — and, phasing as she does, they do not.

Moreover, what would have been the real ending to Reya's plan, had it been followed exactly as it should have? The divinium bomb did hit Ava in the end, but wouldn't it have been worse had she not been interrupted in running up to Michael while he immobilised Adriel during the televised freak circus?

Ava's unpredictability, her impulse, her innate need to act with free will rather than constricted by what others dictate — Ava is the foil to fate itself, the foil to a structure, to a hierarchy that has been festering and rotting from the beginning of time, it should seem.

The hero of this story could only ever be her.

How do you think Sasuke would've been like if he didn't go through what he did? Do you think his personality would still be similar to how it is now, or way different? I think some things will definitely remain the same, like his personality being the opposite contrast to Naruto's, and being an introvert. But I'd love to hear your thoughts! Thinking about how Naruto would be like is also pretty interesting, but not as much as Sasuke since he's way more traumatized and changed dramatically since he was a kid. There were some fillers that showed that he chased cats and took those cat missions really seriously, which is really cute and makes him seem kinda goofy like Naruto, but they're still fillers so idk how accurate that is. Still, he was very friendly and sweet as a child even in canon. He's such an interesting and complex character!

That’s hard to predict because living life without going through what he has in the story is… quite the contrast. He'd still be goal-driven. I wonder if Fugaku would acknowledge Sasuke similarly without Itachi becoming distant. Would Itachi spend more time with Sasuke and allow them to train together had he not been burdened the way he was? There are so many variables to take into account.

And let’s be honest… wouldn’t we want to know how Kishimoto would answer that? Considering people’s belief about the Uchiha’s “evil” destiny-tainted with hatred and all that- being genetic? Oh, there’s so much to say about that alone. Try making that point without Konoha’s elite members ordering his entire family to be murdered by the person he loves and trusts most for the sake of everyone else’s safety. Good luck with that.

One thing Kishimoto has said about writing Sasuke always stuck with me though, which was:

He’s basically saying that, in order to write Sasuke, he needs to make sure his character image won’t be messed up by putting him in situations where he wouldn’t be in the first place.

There’s a lot of debate among writers when it comes to character/plot driven stories, but Sasuke’s journey is very much character-driven in the sense that plot is/should be changed in order to allow Sasuke to drink the tea that he likes. It doesn’t make sense otherwise. Often, fillers, novels and other material that are technically official, but not made by Kishimoto, completely miss the mark and force him to drink the juice when he wouldn’t ever do that in the first place.

And so, screw up his character entirely. (Not Sasuke alone though.)

If Sasuke didn’t go through these horrible things, a lot will be different, but I’m pretty sure his personality would stay similar when it comes to drinking the tea he likes. He’d still avoid the juice despite different circumstances. He wouldn't ever drink it. And how that would be like precisely… well, your guess is as good as mine, really.

Sasuke can be goofy and playful though. Way more than people seem to think? He’s just selective when it comes to who he feels comfortable enough to show it to. As he should. Again, filler (etc-) also often don't take that into account. A lot of it is either completely exaggerated or they make him into this cold-hearted character without any sub- and/or context that does it justice.

I don’t think Naruto and Sasuke’s trauma’s can, and/or should be, ever measured against each other though. The story made it a point that it’s hard to understand one or the other for good reason. I also don’t think Naruto has changed much as a character? Although he gained better understanding about a lot of things and therefore took different approaches, he’s also repressing a lot of what he’s feeling in order to people please in a way that gains him the acceptance he craved for. Underneath all of that, there’s still that part of him that he’s denying in order to belong in the environment that denied him.

And yeah, how do we feel about that? ;-;

Alright, I'll bite for Jaiden/Baghera

5. What is their love language?

Wihihihi *Twirls hair* hiii anon. Alright, love languages… buckle up this is a long one.

Love Languages

I’d say that it’s both Quality time, and Physical touch for Jaiden. I’d say she’s really touch adverse with strangers, like… She will awkwardly wave at people she doesn’t know, but Baghera, she will see her and immediately extend her arms and wings and fully expect Baghera to jump into them and hug so so so so tightly, as they should.

Jaiden likes to groom Baghera’s wings, will randomly take her propeller hat off, put it on herself and begin petting her hair. I also like to think that Jaiden, on account of Baghera’s wings being really badly damaged due to experiments, does this thing called Imping; basically, the process of repairing a broken feather using part of another feather. So now imagine Baghera’s yellow duck wings with random shines of purple, black and cyan because Jaiden KEEPS TRYING TO HELP HER OUT!!!

And for Baghera’s it’s definitely acts of service and words of affirmation. Like, she is a woman who’s been experimented on and while Jaiden was Cucurucho’s favorite, Baghera seemed to be the opposite (though she was the genetics department favorite… sadly), she definitely tries to give others what she couldn’t have. She constantly calls Jaiden beautiful, handsome, pretty. Jaiden will be doing anything and Baghera is right behind her being her biggest fan.

*watching her build* baghs: omg she’s so good at building… i could never… she’s soo graceful… such an incredible builder *twirls hair*

jaiden: *smiles at her and does her silly wave emote*

etoiles: *fully aware that baghera has a castle* …gay people…

jaiden: *trips and falls flat on her face*

And acts of service it’s like… Baghera was the only one getting the flowers for Jaiden when q!F*rever was urging Jaiden to keep walking instead of “losing time getting flowers”. She also knows Jaiden likes animals - so i fully expect her someday meting with her and going “hello my love i have gotten you a Cachalote because you love animals.” opening her backpack, pulling out one of the cages and giving it to Jaiden. Fully expect her to someday, on account of Jaiden loving birds, finding and getting her a Sun Bird.

Jaiden would probably free it though, and Baghera would be absolutely mesmerized by her doing so.

Introverted or Extroverted Couple

I think they are quite extroverted but also with their down times because Jaiden tends to get overwhelmed on loud spaces as we have seen before on some events because of all the noise. So I imagine that they’ll go out because Baghera and her love hanging out with their friends, and at some point Baghera will be talking to someone, and feel Jaiden laying her head on top of Baghera’s shoulder.

That’s her telltale sign for “Low Battery.” To decide whether to leave if it’s too much, or to have some recovery time away from people and noise.

She turns around, holding her head in one hand, petting her cheek, and sees to her needs. She loves going out, but Jaiden’s comfort goes first. They’d either go to a more secluded place for Jaiden to wind down, both sitting on the floor with Jaiden’s head on Bagh’s lap while she covers Jaiden’s ears with her hands to keep all that noise getting to her.

Who makes the other smile with no effort.

Jaiden makes Baghera smile without any effort. Jaiden will be doing anything and it’ll make Baghera smile, just the sight of her being enough to make her day. I think that Baghera finds this wet cat woman cute, so she’ll do something and Baghera will squeal in joy and approach to pepper kisses all over her face while mumbling something like “WHY ARE YOU SO DAMN PRETTY, I NEED TO SQUEEZE YOU.” because she gets cuteness aggression from Jaiden.

And, to Jaiden’s surprise, she finds herself smiling to herself whenever she thinks of Baghera.

do you have any thoughts on powerups/how the bros use them?

You have no idea what you have just unleashed, anon. :D I am super into world-building and lore when it comes to Mario stuff, so here's a random list of ideas that may or may not bear fruit for anyone who reads this. (Also, part of this is me sketching out concepts for solus creatura, so I thank my followers in advance for their patience here).

The vegetable/fruit/foliage powerups are naturally occurring. The Mushroom Kingdom has the most fertile conditions for these plants to grow, although other kingdoms have done a decent enough job of genetically engineering their own powerup plants.

This makes the powerups an integral part of the Mushroom Kingdom economy, and one of the reasons they're able to survive so long without any real standing army or defense system outside of Mario and Luigi. It's also one of the reasons they get invaded so often.

The Darklands, centuries before Bowser's reign, used to also cultivate powerups. They were overfarmed by a corrupt agricultural council, however, and in combination with a once-in-a-lifetime drought, the vast majority of their land and crop was ruined.

Luckily for the Darklands, their native species is capable of fire and they still retain a strong tradition of magical culture through the Magikoopas (although this was briefly wiped out during Bowser's father's reign, as he thought the Magikoopas were planning a coup. They, in fact, were, but for good reasons).

Now, the Mushroom Kingdom is wary of magic, due their own history and complicated relationship with the Darklands (this may be in part linked to an old civil war that caused the split between the Mushroom Kingdom and the Darklands). Their species is also just not that magically adept (something having to do with Toad physiognomy?) The powerups are a decent compromise - they afford magic-like abilities without rendering their user permanently superpowered.

There was some contention in the royal court when Mario and Luigi first arrived in terms of allowing them access to the powerups. Ultimately, it was decided the safety of the kingdom would supersede any worries about abuse of power. (This being said, Peach had to argue long and hard for this).

Mario and Luigi receive a monthly allotment of powerups and if they find any "in the wild," they're supposed to record each instance. Neither brother bothers with this and every month they get a nasty letter from Porcina in accounting, which has led to a years-long feud between her and Mario. Luigi has learned the better way to circumvent the system is bribery by brownie. It usually, although not always, works.

The non-vegetative powerups are created in Mushroom Kingdom labs. Because the Mushroom Kingdom is like a Times Square Station for warp-pipe travel, the dimensional crossroads makes it easier to cross-pollinate powerups with characteristics of other species and lands (cats, penguins, etc.)

When Mario and Luigi are first introduced to the powerups, they think this is the coolest thing in the world. They have powers, which was an impossibility back in New York.

Mario's favorite powerup is the classic mushroom. Finally, he gets to be as tall or taller than his younger brother.

They both think the Invincibility Star is incredible until they're faced with a situation in which the invincibility wears off at a dangerous moment, which almost turned fatal for Mario. It's a sobering moment, and brothers learn the lesson that no one is invincible forever.

The Mushroom Kingdom allows Mario and Luigi to use the powerups under the assumption that the "magic," as it were, never lasts. What they don't know, however, is that Luigi has a strange penchant for magic, which is why on more than one occasion, the effects of the powerups take longer to wear off on him. (One day, Luigi shows up to meet his brother looking a little...furrier than usual. "You look hairy, bro," Mario says, furrowing his brow. "I'm Italian." Mario rolls his eyes at his brother's quip. "Not that Italian. What, did you forget to shave again?" Luigi just shrugs, not wanting to admit this isn't the first time he's woken up with more hair than he's used to).

They tease each other mercilessly when they are introduced to some of the animalistic powerups. Luigi puts a litter box in his brother's room and buys him a collar with the name tag, "Fluffy." Mario cooks Luigi fish for five days straight after the penguin incident. He also starts singing the "Walk Like a Penguin" jingle every time his brother comes into the room.

I can't believe I actually didn't realize that. I mean, I did it. Like 7 years ago, but I had no clue on how to explain it.

Besides it needs from Mystic Messenger Timeline *which I'm still working on, and trying to finish* to actually make sense.

My mom, who is an actual therapist, did her best to help me, but I did most of the analysis here, since I'm the one who knows the in's and outs of this game. I can understand Yoosung, but... you know what I mean. It was weird. And once I reached the first VN novel about V and Rika I felt even more weirded out by these two.

I don't think I can pinpoint it but I felt like Rika was manipulating V so I was surprised when I realized some members were tying these two as lovers and a beautiful couple. Do you guys remember V being surprised by Rika quoting "The Sun is the mother of all"?? Yeah... Even back then, for me it was a highlight of how messed up their relationship was. But again, I couldn't exactly pinpoint it. Until, now.

After Cheritz released Another Story, and Rika DLC, many of my theories came true. But still in a disorganized way. Which is why I created The Mystic Messenger Timeline.

I did confirmed one thing:

Rika is a narcissist and V is a people pleaser (that doesn't make him any less villainous of what he is, but I'll explain once we'll reach his profile. I promise.) at least at the very beginning of this story.

She probably has psychopatic tendencies

She definitely has sadistic and abusive tendencies: I have a hard time putting through her whole behavior during Saeran's Route and especially during his AE. But she takes pleasure in hurting others. V, Saeran, MC, Mint Eye associates, etc.

Level 9: Become condemnatory toward others, punitive and cruel to rid themselves of wrongdoers. Severe depressions, nervous breakdowns, and suicide attempts are likely. Generally corresponds to the Obsessive-Compulsive and Depressive personality disorders

So, why do you (player) like Rika as character?

Because it's okay, I know people who actually like Rika. I don't, but I definitely don't hate her either...

You don't need to be worried about it as long as you know what she did was wrong. That's it. Now, why do you like her/identify with her?

Things that might, or not, ring a bell:

* Trauma: Rika has a traumatic past. And you might feel like it's a mirror of your past. Hence identifying with it might not be something difficult. Of course this doesn't mean you are leader of some religious cult.

* Her willingness to fight despite having everything at odds. Let's not forget that before she goes nuts and starts brainwashing people, she did a lot of great deeds. Tried to stay positive and all that.

* Her kindness (we can discuss over certain things, but as much as she did terrible things, she also did amazing things, like creating the RFA to help people. Wether she did it with a certain master plan in mind or not, she did helped as much as she hurt and that's the important part.)

* She's just a great villain! It might be hard to understand for some people but you actually just look at her character as what it is, a character, and you're impressed by how many discussions and hot debates she brings onto the table. Understandable!

* Her flower means forgiveness♡

What some cats do you think have specific characteristics that go down their line? Like Running’s stripe or the Tawnyspots mullet. I feel like Firestar having a trait of his own that’s seen in a lot of his descendants is really fun

I try to play loose with the Family Traits (except the Tawnyrain Mane which so far is absolutely constant), but so far for family traits I have this mental list;

(Also it's worth noting i don't take realism into account AT ALL and I do not understand how genetics work and I will not learn <3 like water off a smoooooth shark)

The stripe-faced dunnart (Sminthopsis macroura) is a small mammal found in the dry grasslands and shrublands of Australia. There are three subspecies distributed across the continent; S. m. macroura in central, eastern, and western Australia, S.m. stalkeri in northern Australia, and S.m. froggatti in the Kimberley region. These subspecies diverged from each other millions of years ago, but they bear such a strong resemblance to each other that the distinction was only recently discovered via genetic testing. Although they’re also known as the “marsupial mouse”, S. macroura is not a member of the rodent family. Rather, it’s in a separate family: Dasyuridae, a group of marsupials that also includes quolls (Dasyurus spp.), the Tasmanian devil (Sarcophilus harrisii), and the now-exctinct thylacine (Thylacinus cynocephalus).

S. macroura is one of the smaller marsupial species, at only 15-19 cm (6-7.5 in) long. The tail accounts for nearly half that length. The species is sexually dimorphic, with females usually weighing about 15 g (0.17 oz) and males coming in at 25 g (0.88 oz). Otherwise the sexes are identical: pale grey or brown fur with a dark stripe running down between the eyes that gives the species its namesake. The coloration allows the stripe-faced dunnart to avoid predators like snakes, hawks, and foxes.

Breeding for the stripe-faced dunnart occurs from July through February, and females can produce two litters in a season. This species has the shortest pregnancy period of any mammal, taking only eleven days from fertilization to birth. Joeys remain the mother’s pouch for an additional 40 days, and she can carry and nurse up to 8 young at a time. After they leave the pouch the joeys will stay with their mother for up to 30 days, at which point they’re weaned. Females become sexually mature after only 4 months, while males take up to 9 months to mature, and both sexes can live up to 4 years in the wild.

Outside the breeding season, S. macroura is fairly solitary. Individuals maintain home ranges, although they’re generally not territorial. Within these home ranges, nests are made from grass and leaves or from digging burrows. At times the stripe-faced dunnart may share a nest with up to 8 others, although these arrangements are usually temporary. The species is nocturnal and spends much of its time foraging for insects and small vertebrates like lizards or mice. When food is especially abundant, extra fat is stored in the tail, which enlarges and becomes carrot-shaped. In the winter, individuals will enter a state of torpor, in which their metabolism slows and their body temperature lowers to reduce energy consumption by up to 90%.

Conservation status: Although the IUCN has rated the stripe-faced dunnart as Least Concer, this species is threatened by overgrazing and trampling of their native grasslands. Habitat clearing and fragmentation are also harmful, as are feral cats which directly impact the species population.
