Arms, abs, and glutes with hand weights to add some spice. 🔥🌶️🌶️🌶️
10 exercises with 10 lb hand weights.
My abs got a LOT stronger when I focused on the following….
1. I started using my abs to control the position of my low back. No more collapsing into the low back and no more letting my back arch during ab work lying down.
2. I started creating as much length in my spinal column as possible during every single exercise.
3. I started focusing more on spinal mobility and using my abs to control the movement of each segment of my spine (think roll ups, roll over).
4. I started using my abs to limit the extension of my lumbar spine (low back) during full back extensions in order to create an even curve (think of a backbend that looks like a semi-circle).
The result has been stronger, more capable abs and increased injury resilience.
