Perfectly Perfect - Ethan Landry x Fem!Reader - Part 2
Tumblr media
Summary: After Ethan asks you to marry him, you learn that he wants to marry you as soon as possible. He also mentions how badly he wants kids soon, but it happens sooner than expected.
Part 1
Contains: Fluff, pregnancy, suggestions to sex, and if I didn't use the word 'fuck', it wouldn't be a fic I wrote :)
A/N: Jesus, I hope y'all like this. I've spent a couple days on it, and it has SO MUCH in it. Like 8 months worth of stuff in 6.7k words(I double-checked for grammatical errors, and if you catch something I didn't, I'm SO SORRY). I didn't want to leave it on a cliffhanger like I love to do. I'll be working on a couple fics tomorrow, one of them will definitely be smut:)

After Ethan proposed, you didn’t want to get back to your normal life. You couldn’t wait to start talking about wedding planning, but he wanted to wait for the weekend so he could completely focus on it and not be stressed about his work project.
On Friday night, you sat on top of his kitchen counter as he made you dinner. You offered to help, but he knew your day was stressful, so he wanted you to relax. You smiled as you watched him, thinking back to the first time he ever tried to cook for you.
He tried to make pasta with this sauce that he made from scratch. He wanted it to seem like he knew what he was doing, even though the most he’d ever made was ramen and instant mac and cheese. The gesture was sweet, but the food tasted terrible. You didn’t show it though, until he finally spoke up.
“This tastes awful…how are you eating that?” he asked as you started to laugh a little.
“You worked hard on it, babe.”
“Fuck it, let’s order Chinese,” he said, pulling out his phone. “One day, I’ll be good at cooking.”
“I can always cook for you, though,” you smiled, as he shook his head.
“One of these days, I want to be able to cook for you and our kids,” he said, placing the order and sitting his phone down on the table. Your eyes widened, because that was the first time he’d ever hinted that the two of you would have a long future together. You’d only been together for a little over a year, but you knew you wanted to be with him forever.
“Kids, huh? How many are we having?” you asked, taking a sip of your water.
“I think five is a good number,” he said, as you started to choke on the water. “Okay, maybe not five. But I know I want a family with you someday.”
“I’d like that,” you smiled, as he leaned over to kiss you, “But five is definitely a lot.”
His cooking skills improved after he discovered that salt and pepper weren’t the only seasonings someone could use. When he walked over and reached around to grab some spices out of the cabinet, you started to move your head.
“You’re fine, baby,” he said, kissing your forehead before he grabbed what he needed.
“I’m absolutely dying to talk about wedding stuff,” you said dramatically, as he went back to his place in front of the stove.
“What do you want to talk about first?” he asked, smiling as he focused on dinner.
“When do you want to get married?” he started to laugh a little at your question.
“I’d marry you right this second if we could pull a wedding together that quick.” He said, “I’m thinking October.”
“Like, eight months away October? Or next year?” you questioned, getting a little nervous.
“This year,” he said, sautéing the veggies he was cooking in the pan.
“Uh, I don’t know if we could pull that off. We’d have to find a wedding venue, a photographer, a DJ, a florist…I’d have to get a dress. Plus, October is a busy wedding month,” you sighed, “Most of the venues are probably booked up already.”
“I can pull some strings,” he said, as you curiously eyed him. “One of the guys at work has a cousin that’s about to open their own wedding venue this fall. He mentioned it when I told him I was going to propose.”
“Really?” you asked, “But there’s still so many other things to do.”
“Let’s eat first, then we can look into it.”
The food he made was delicious. He smiled proudly as you wouldn’t stop complimenting his cooking skills. It was definitely an improvement from what he tried to make for you four years ago.
“I told you, I was going to get better at cooking for you and our future kids,” he started to laugh, but then he got quiet as he started to think.  “How do you feel about trying for one soon?”
His question caught you off guard, your cheeks turning pink. “Oh, um…” you were so flustered as you tried to compile your thoughts, “Yeah, I’d love that, but we need to get the wedding stuff squared away first, then we’ll talk about it.”
“Deal.”
After dinner, he sat down with you on the couch and pulled out his phone to show you the pictures of the new wedding venue that was almost finished.
“That’s beautiful!” you said, looking at the tall ceilings and the spacious outside area.
“They’re going to get the landscaping finished this week, and then they have to do a few more things to the inside. I’ll ask him if we can tour it when it’s finished,” he said, his arm draping around your shoulder as he pulled you closer. “I want our wedding day to be everything you’ve ever dreamed of, so if you hate it, we could always push it out a year.”
“I’m sure I’ll love it just by how gorgeous it already looks,” you said, snuggling into his chest, “but yeah, ask him about touring it.”
“Oh, Chad has a friend that’s a photographer, too,” he said, as you raised up a little to look at him.
“Have you been wedding planning without me?” you joked, as he playfully rolled his eyes.
“No…well maybe a little,” he sighed, “His work is really good. I’ve also been looking at flowers and stuff on my breaks at work…don’t hate me.”
Your heart started to melt as you realized exactly how excited he was to marry you. You knew he wanted to and that he loved you, but him wanting to officially start your lives together as soon as possible made you feel so special.
“What do you think for colors?” you asked, interested in what he had to say.
“I haven’t thought about that yet, I wanted you to pick them.”
“I’m thinking a really pretty deep red and maybe some orange would look really nice, especially if the leaves are going to be changing,” you smiled, as he nodded.
The two of you continued to talk about your wedding ideas, and how big you wanted it to be. You knew some people that went all out and had hundreds of people at their weddings, but you and Ethan decided to keep that number at one hundred or less. You wanted it to be intimate, but still have all the people that meant a lot to you to be there.
“What about your bridesmaids?” he questioned, as you started to think.
“Well, of course Tara would be my Maid of Honor, and Mindy and Anika, but do you think Quinn would want to be the fourth one?” you asked, as he started smiling.
“She’d love that, babe. She loves you, and she’s always asking about you whenever she calls to check in,” he said, “It makes me so happy that you’d want someone from my family to be one of your bridesmaids.”
He started to talk about Chad being his best man, and you wouldn’t expect anything less. They were so close, and Chad was the reason the two of you got together in the first place. Ethan was shy, so Chad encouraged him to finally ask you out.
As the months started to fly by, you were surprised at how quickly everything was coming together. Between you and Ethan’s busy work schedules, you still found time to tour the venue, meet with a DJ, do your engagement shoot with Chad’s friend, and get your dress. You didn’t think you’d be able to pull off everything as quick as you were, but with the help of your friends, it was easy.
“Babe,” you called out as you walked through Ethan’s front door, “Where are you?”
He didn’t say anything, but you heard the faint sound of the shower. You walked into the bathroom as he was stepping out.
“Hey, babe,” he said, drying off as you hopped up onto the bathroom counter, “How was your appointment?”
“It was good. It didn’t hurt as bad to take it out as it did to have it put in,” you said, referring to your IUD. “Don’t get any ideas, though. We’re still four months away from the wedding.”
You wanted to wait until it was a lot closer to the wedding, but your doctor was about to have her own baby and was going to take a few months off. You were eager to start a family with Ethan, but you wanted to fit into the dress that you’d spent a lot of money on.
“Fineee,” he sighed out, wrapping his towel around his hips before standing in front of you. “I love you.”
“I love you, too,” you said as he leaned in to kiss you. After he pulled away, you started to panic, remembering things you still had to do. “Fuck, I forgot to email the caterer!”
You tried to slide off the counter before Ethan stopped you. “I already did it, babe,” your mind was still racing, “And Tara stopped by work today to grab the invitations. She dropped them off at the post office for us.”
You sighed, relaxing a little as you smiled at him. “What else do we still have to do, then?”
“The only thing I want us to worry about tonight is spending time with each other,” he said, his hands resting on your thighs, “No wedding talk, no stressing. I just want to hang out.”
“Okay,” you said, as he stepped back so you could slide off the counter.
“I’m going to get dressed, then I’ll order food, and we can watch a movie,” he said, pecking your lips as you walked out of the bathroom.
You had a great night with Ethan. He knew how to calm you down and take your mind off things, even though the little voice inside your head kept reminding you of the few things you still had to do. When you woke up the next morning with Ethan spooning you, he was starting to stir awake himself.
“Good morning,” you giggled, as he kissed the back of your neck.
“Good morning,” he said, his curls tickling your bare shoulder, “We have stuff to do today.”
“Do we have to?” you asked, “Because I just want to stay in bed with you all day.”
You adjusted in his arms to face him, his sleepy eyes meeting your mischievous ones.
“Oh? Well, we do have a couple hours before we have to be at the bakery to decide on our cake flavors,” he said, his hands resting on your hips. “What about the possibility of getting pregnant?”
“I highly doubt that it’d happen that quick.”
A couple months later, you realized how wrong you were. Your period didn’t show up, which you assumed was because of the stress and your body getting used to no longer using birth control. After the second month of not getting one, your boobs really started to hurt.
“Uh, are you pregnant?” Tara asked, her eyes going wide as she helped you put together your wedding favors, “I know you mentioned wanting to have a baby soon.”
“I don’t think so,” you sighed, “I think it’s just the stress of the wedding has everything out of whack.”
“It can’t hurt to take a test to be sure. I know you’d feel bad if you were and you weren’t taking the vitamins you need,” she said, “Plus, it’s best to know sooner rather than later if you’re going to fit in your dress.”
“My doctor put me on the vitamins when I told her I wanted to get pregnant soon, so if I am, everything should be okay,” you sighed, getting a little anxious, “But, you’re right. I’ll take a test when Ethan gets back from tux shopping with Chad.”
“I love seeing Chad in a tux,” she gushed, “Maybe one day you’ll be helping me with my wedding…if he ever asks me.”
“It’ll happen. I thought Ethan would never ask, even with me hinting at it all the time.”
When Ethan and Chad made it back to Tara’s, she was practically pushing the two of you out the door. She knew that Chad and Ethan would probably get caught up in video games, but she knew you had more important things to do.
“Did you get your suit?” you asked from the passenger’s seat as Ethan drove.
“Yeah, I think you’ll like it,” he said, glancing over to you. “You okay?”
You sighed as you looked over to him, “Can we stop by the pharmacy on the way back to your house?”
“Yeah, are you feeling sick?” he asked, his voice showing concern.
“No, not really…but Tara thinks I’m pregnant,” you said, as Ethan almost ran a stop sign.
“Wait, what?” he asked, the both of you jolting forward as he came to a sudden stop. “We’ve been safe until a week ago.”
“If I am pregnant, it happened the morning we went to the bakery,” you said, as his hand reached over to grab yours. “I haven’t gotten my period, either.”
“Okay, um…yeah,” he stammered, trying to hide the excitement over the possibility.
“What if I am? I’ll be four months along and probably showing by then,” you sighed, “I won’t fit into my dress. I’m running out of time for alterations, too.”
“Well don’t freak out until we know for sure, okay?” he said, trying to calm you down.
After you made it back to Ethan’s, you went straight to the bathroom with the pharmacy bag in your hand.
“I’ll wait out here,” he said, leaning against the wall to give you your privacy.
He was hoping that the test would be positive, but he didn’t want you to be unhappy about it. He knew it would add even more stress if you were as far along as you thought. He started to get lost in his thoughts as he heard you squeal.
He opened the bathroom door to see your eyes watering and a huge smile on your face.
“Babe, I’m pregnant!”
“No fucking way!” he yelled, picking you up and spinning you. “Oh shit, okay. We’re going to be parents.” He sat you down on your feet and kissed you. “We can turn the spare bedroom into a nursery after the wedding!”
“Oh shit,” you said, your mind going back to the wedding, “I don’t mind being pregnant, and if I’m showing, I don’t care. But I need to figure out something for my dress.”
“Let’s make an appointment and make sure everything’s okay, then we can worry about that.”
You called your doctors office the following Monday, begging to be seen. With your normal doctor being out on maternity leave, they were able to schedule you with another doctor that same day that had a cancellation. You and Ethan both left work early to go because you didn’t know what to expect. You were happy he came with you because they realized that you were about ten weeks along and wanted to do an ultrasound to make sure the baby was measuring correctly.
“There’s not a whole lot to see right now, but the baby is measuring the way it should be,” the ultrasound technician said, as your eyes started to water. You looked over to see Ethan wiping his tears as he watched the screen. She occasionally paused so she could print out the sonograms from different angles.
When you went to walk out, she handed you a tiny little folder with the images she’d printed out. The cover of it said Baby’s First Photo’s, and when Ethan saw it, he lost it. You had to take a few minutes in the room as you tried to get him to stop crying.
“I’m sorry, I’m just so happy,” he said, as you reached up to wipe some of his tears.
“It’s okay, baby. I’m happy that you’re this happy,” you said, as he grabbed your hand.
“I love you so much. You’re going to be such an amazing mom,” he said, as he started to pull himself together.
“And you’re going to be an amazing dad. I love you too, babe.”
After the appointment, you talked to Ethan about telling Chad and Tara. Now that you knew the baby was okay, you just had to tell your best friend.
“That’s fucking awesome, dude! Congratulations,” Chad said, pulling Ethan into a hug.
“I knew it!” Tara said, wiping away the few tears that were slipping out.
“Show them the pictures!” Ethan said excitedly, as you grabbed the folder out of your purse.
“Aww, little baby Landry,” Chad said, flipping through the images.
“What do you think you’re having?” Tara asked, “Because I need a reason to go shopping.”
Chad rolled his eyes, “You always have a reason to go shopping.”
“We won’t find out until after the wedding, but I think we want to announce our pregnancy then,” you smiled, looking over to Ethan as he nodded.
“Let me know what I can do to help once you guys decide what you want to do,” Tara said, taking one last look at the pictures before she handed them back to you.
“I will.”
A month later, you stopped by Tara’s to try your dress on to see if it still fit.
“Fuck,” you said, as she tried to zip the back. It wouldn’t budge above your waist. “What am I going to do now?” you sighed, looking at her in the mirror of her bedroom.
“We can get it altered. We’re cutting it close though, and we still don’t know how big you’ll be on your wedding day,” she said, as panic started to set in for her, too. “The bridal shop is open today; I’ll call them to see if their seamstress can fix it.”
As Tara paced on the phone, you really thought you were going to have to buy a whole new dress, until she screamed “Yes! Thank you so much!”
She ended the call before walking up to you, “Okay, we have to take it in right now, but they believe they can put something into the sides of the dress that will make it a little stretchy.”
“Thank god,” you said, sliding the dress off and putting it back on the hanger.
When you arrived at the bridal store, the seamstress took new measurements and used her experience with other brides in similar situations to decide what to do.
“This won’t be ready for a few weeks, but I assure you that you’ll have it before your wedding,” she said, as you sighed in relief.
“Thank you so much!” you said, “You’ll call me when it’s ready?”
“As soon as I finish it, I’ll call you in so you can try it on,” she said, as you nodded.
You were still stressed, but you were hopeful that you’d still be able to wear the dress.
After a few weeks went by, you got the call to come look at your dress. As you tried it on, and the seamstress zipped it, it fit perfectly.
“Thank you so much!” you smiled, “I didn’t doubt you, but I know I’m a little bigger now, so I wasn’t sure if that would work.”
“You’re lucky I have experience with this,” she laughed, helping you back out of the dress.
“You can’t even tell I’m pregnant!”
The day before your wedding, Tara and Chad helped you and Ethan get everything set up in the venue. The boys were in the corner decorating the arch because they were tall enough to do so, as Tara helped you decorate the tables.
“This is so cute!” she said, looking at the burnt orange cheesecloth table runners were draped across the tables.
“It’ll look even better after the florist delivers the flowers tomorrow morning. The red and orange roses are really going to make everything pop.”
Ethan walked over to look at what you and Tara were working on. “I hate to rush you, but we have to start the rehearsal soon,” he said, “But these tables look amazing, babe.”
When he kissed the top of your head, you heard a squeal come from the main entrance.
“Hey, guys!” Quinn said, as she walked in. Ethan ran up to hug her before she came over to you. “Are you excited? Because you’re totally glowing.”
“Yeah, I am,” you smiled, glancing down at your oversized t-shirt. It’s taken everything in you to not put your hands on your belly whenever you were around anyone the didn’t already know you were pregnant.
“Thank you for asking me to be a part of your day tomorrow,” she smiled, “So we’re staying at Tara’s tonight?”
“Yeah, we’re having a slumber party,” Tara laughed, joining the conversation. “It’s bad luck for the bride to see the groom before the wedding.” You and Ethan both rolled your eyes at the superstition, “Hey, I want you two to last forever.”
“We will,” Ethan said, pulling you into a kiss.
“Gross,” you heard Mindy yell as she walked into the door. Anika was right behind her, the excitement evident on her face as she looked around the room.
“Wow, this is gorgeous,” she said, as they walked up to you.
“My people are here, where’s the rest of yours?” you asked Ethan, remembering him wanting to start the rehearsal.
“They’re on the way,” he sighed, as Chad started to yell for his help. “I’ll be right back.”
You laughed as they were struggling to get the lacy orange and red fabric to stay on the arch, along with the few fake flower decorations you got from the craft store.
“This isn’t funny,” Ethan said, trying to fight his own laughter as Chad started to get pissed.
The other two of Ethan’s groomsmen walked in and greeted you before walking over to Ethan and Chad to help.
“How many men does it take to hang some fabric and fake flowers?” Quinn questioned, watching the scene unfold in front of her.
“I don’t know, but hopefully the answer is four, because that’s all we’ve got,” you laughed, as the guys started to cheer.
“Ooh, they finally got it,” Mindy said, wrapping her arm around Anika as she giggled.
The officiant, DJ, and wedding coordinator were ready to go when Ethan walked up to you.
“You ready to fake marry me?” he asked, grabbing your hand.
“Yeah, let’s get this over with. I’m starting to get sleepy,” you sighed, as Ethan nodded. Your newest pregnancy symptom was extreme tiredness, but you’d take that over being nauseous.
“Okay, we’ll be doing this outside tomorrow, but because it’s raining, we have to do it inside tonight,” the wedding coordinator said, “I want to make this as painless as possible.”
Ethan followed the bridesmaids and groomsmen down the aisle, standing on his side as the music started for you to walk down the aisle. You took your time as you were instructed, finally making it to Ethan.
He started to laugh a little, as you rolled your eyes. “You’re laughing now, but if you don’t cry when you see me in my dress tomorrow, I’ll walk down this aisle a hundred times.”
“Sorry, this is a little awkward,” he said, grabbing your hand as the officiant started to speak.
He started to go through his spiel, skipping over the vows you and Ethan were going to recite for each other and the ‘I now pronounce you husband and wife’ part.
“Are we done yet?” you asked through a yawn, the tiredness being too much.
“Did you want to look at the slideshow tonight, or no?” the DJ asked as he pointed at the projection screen.
“No!” you and Ethan both said at the same time, knowing that the last slide was the one announcing your pregnancy.
“I think it’ll be fine to wait until tomorrow,” Ethan said, wrapping his arm around your shoulder.
“Okay, cool. We’re done, then,” he said, shutting his laptop.
“I’ll see you tomorrow, baby,” Ethan said, turning to you. He leaned down to kiss you when your friends walked up.
“We need to get her out of here,” Tara said, as you pulled away from the kiss. Ethan subtly rubbed his hand over your tummy, which he’d done every single night before bed since you found out you were pregnant.
“I love you,” he said, as Tara grabbed your hand to pull you away.
“I love you, too!”
When you made it back to Tara’s, you were struggling to keep your eyes open as everyone sat around and talked. You finally excused yourself to the guest bedroom, falling asleep the second your head hit the pillow.
The next morning, you woke up before everyone else. You showered and ordered coffee before you snuck into Tara’s room to grab your dress out of the closet. When the coffee arrived, you were debating on peacefully waking everyone up, but decided on yelling.
“I’m ready to get married, wake up!” Your voice echoed off the walls of the house as you heard Mindy groan in the living room. Tara soon turned the corner, grabbing her drink out of the holder.
“Thanks for the coffee,” she said, as you took a sip of yours. “Are you supposed to be drinking that?”
“It’s decaf,” you sighed, “It’s not as good but it’ll get me through the day.”
She nodded as everyone else walked into the kitchen.
“Someone’s excited,” Quinn smiled, “I can’t believe I’m getting a sister-in-law today!”
She pulled you into a hug, “I hope I got your coffee order right. I was trying to remember it from college.”
“No, this is perfect,” she said, taking a sip.
“We have to be at the venue in two hours,” you said, looking around at everyone’s tired expressions. “Can you guys get ready soon?”
“I expected the bridezilla antics to start before now,” Mindy said, sarcasm in her tone as you glanced over to her.
“I just don’t want to be late,” you sighed, as Quinn remembered something.
“I don’t know if you’re doing the normal wedding traditions, but,” she said, running to her bag in the living room, “I’d love it if you’d wear this.” She opened a jewelry box, showing you a beautiful diamond necklace. “This belonged to Ethan and I’s grandmother.”
“Oh my god, Quinn! This is gorgeous!” You were in awe, the sweet gesture showing you how excited she was for you to be a part of her family. “I’d love to wear it.”
“I hoped you’d say that. I know it would mean a lot to Ethan.”
After everyone finally got ready, you headed to the venue. Tara ran into the main building, looking around for Ethan.
“You! Stay right there for the next five minutes,” she said as she saw him, before running back to the car.
Ethan laughed to himself at her determination to keep you from being seen by him as he helped the florist finish decorating the tables.
“Okay, we gotta move,” Tara said, grabbing stuff out of the trunk of her car as you walked through the back entrance to the bridal suite.
You hung your dress up and waited for the rest of your friends to make it inside.
“Geez, T. What is all of this?” Mindy asked, sitting one of the heavy plastic bins down on the floor.
“It’s all the stuff to get our beautiful bride ready,” she groaned out, setting down another box.
“I think the key word is beautiful, which she already is…she doesn’t need all this shit,” Mindy said, opening the tote to look inside. “Wait, what’s up with these favors?”
“Don’t look at those!” Tara said, as Mindy eyed her suspiciously.
“What’s going on?” she asked, as Anika and Quinn made it in with the rest of the stuff.
“Those are another set of favors we’re giving out after,” Tara said, looking over to you.
“What do you mean?” she asked, as you tried to discreetly change into something that wouldn’t mess up your hair and makeup after it was finished. “Wait, what the fuck?”
Mindy walked over to you as Quinn and Anika were showing off the dress styles they chose in your colors.
“Are you pregnant?” she whispered, taking in the way your lower abdomen was sticking out.
“Mindy, please don’t say anything to anyone,” you said, motioning with your eyes to your other friends, “We’re announcing it today.”
“Wait, seriously?” she asked, as you started to laugh.
“Are you going to keep asking questions?” You whispered as you smiled, “Ethan and I wanted to get pregnant. It happened quicker than I thought it would, but this was always the plan.”
“Oh, well congratulations,” she said, trying to hide her excitement.
“Why are you congratulating her?” Anika asked, as she walked up to join in the conversation.
“She’s getting married, babe, duh.”
When Tara helped you get ready, you could tell she was trying hard not to cry. She was so happy for you, and knowing how much Ethan loved you made it hard for her to keep her emotions in. You felt awkward trying to talk to her as Chad’s friend came in to snap pictures of everyone getting ready.
“Thank you for doing this for me, Tara,” you said, as she finished up your hair.
“You think I’d let just anyone glam you up for your special day?” she asked, spraying a thick cloud of hairspray over your head.
“You know there’s a lot of chemicals in that, right?” you laughed as her eyes went wide.
“I’m so sorry!”
“It’s okay, I just wanted to distract you. You’ve been fighting tears since I sat down in the chair,” you said, as she started to let them slip out.
“I’m just so happy for you,” she said, as she started to put primer on your face.
“Well, just know that when Chad proposes someday, I’ll do the exact same stuff for you that you’ve done for me. I’m so thankful for our friendship.”
“I think that’s coming sooner rather than later…” she trailed off as you stared at her.
“Okay, spill. What’s going on?” you asked, as she shook her head.
“Today’s your day. We can talk about it after the honeymoon.
“No, tell me! I don’t care what day it is,” you said, laughing.
“Well, I found a receipt for a jewelry store when I was doing Chad’s laundry the other day,” she said, as you cut her off.
“You’re doing wifey shit, but continue,” you said, as she started to blush.
“It was for a ring. So, unless he’s buying it for someone else, I’m pretty sure he wants to marry me.”
You started to squeal as she shushed you.
“Sorry, I’m just so happy for you!”
After your makeup was done, and you helped everyone else get ready, Tara was about to kick everyone out when Quinn ran up to you.
“I’m leaving, but I wanted to give you this,” she said, handing you the jewelry box with the necklace in it.
“Wait, I think you should help me put it on.”
She smiled as she took it out of the box and put it around your neck, clasping it in the back. The photographer started snapping pictures of the sweet moment. She was trying not to cry as she looked at you wearing it. “Thank you for being so good to my brother. I know he’s a little dorky, but you really brought him out of his shell. He’s never been this happy.”
You felt your own eyes start to water as you fanned your face with your hands, trying to keep the tears in. “Thank you, Quinn.”
You hugged her before she went out to join Mindy and Anika in the reception area of the venue.
“Let’s get your dress on,” Tara said, grabbing it off the hanger.
“Is it bad that I’m nervous it wont fit even though it did a week ago,” you sighed, unbuttoning your shirt and sliding your leggings down.
“It will, don’t stress,” she said, as you stepped inside the dress.
“See, still fits,” she smiled after she got it zipped.
“Are you ladies almost ready?” The wedding coordinator asked, as she walked in
“Yes,” you said, slipping your heels on. “Is he ready?”
She started to laugh at your question, “Honey, that man’s been ready for over an hour. His best man was in there…what do you kids call it…hyping him up?”
You started to laugh, “Yeah, that sounds about right.”
“Well, if you’re ready, I’ll let them know that we can begin,” she said, looking you over in your dress. “You look gorgeous.”
“Gorgeous enough to make the groom cry?” you asked, as she nodded.
“He’s already cried a couple times,” she said, walking out of the room.
Tara looked at you and stuck her lip out at the fact that Ethan was so emotional.
“Aww, that’s so sweet!” she said, helping you put your veil on.
“I’m hoping these pregnancy hormones don’t get the best of me today. I don’t want to mess all your hard work up,” you said, fanning your face again.
“That’s what setting spray is for,” she said, giving your face a second coat of it. “Just in case.”
The coordinator came back in the room to grab you as you heard the music start to play.
“I know this is a little different than last night, but you’re just going to walk down the path to the arch,” she said, as Tara walked past you to join the rest of the bridesmaids.
“I love you,” she said, “Don’t be nervous.”
After everyone cleared out, you waited for your cue.
“Alright, sweetheart. This is all you,” she said, gently nudging you towards the door.
As you walked out, you noticed all the people standing, and couldn’t help but think about falling in front of all of them. The second Ethan was in your line of vision, and he covered his face as he started to cry, it gave you all the confidence you needed to make it to him.
You noticed that Tara and Quinn were trying so hard to keep it together, and Chad too. He was just so happy for his best friend. You smiled at him as Ethan pulled his hands away from his face.
“So beautiful,” he said, wiping away the tears that just kept slipping out. Chad reached over to pat him on the back as you made it to the end of the path, standing across from him.
As the officiant started to speak, your breath hitched in your throat. You were trying so hard not to cry, but you knew you were going to lose that battle once you and Ethan read your vows.
“The bride and groom have written their own vows. We’ll start with you,” he said, turning to Ethan.
“I didn’t write anything down, because I wanted to speak from the heart,” he said, laughing a little, “I love everything about you, from the way you look when you first wake up, to the way you argue with me over the remote. You’re my best friend, my soulmate. You’re everything I could’ve ever wanted and more in a partner. You were patient with me when I was shy and didn’t know how to talk to you when we first met. Now, I’m a more confident person because of the man you’ve helped me become. I’m so happy I get to spend the rest of my life with you. I love you.”
Tears were slipping out, as hard as you tried to fight it, before the officiant turned to you.
“I also didn’t write my vows down,” you giggled, “but I guess that’s what makes us so special. I’m so thankful for you. When you finally asked me to be yours, I never had a doubt in my mind that we wouldn’t last forever. You say that I boosted your confidence, but you helped mine so much. I don’t worry about what people think of me, because I know the one that truly matters is always in my corner, no matter what. I know we can make it through anything the universe throws at us, as long as I have you by my side. You’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me, and I’m so happy that I get to be your wife. I’m so happy that you chose me. I love you, too.”
Ethan nodded as he fought off the tears again. You almost missed everything your officiant was saying, because you were so focused on him.
“If there are no objections, by the power vested in me by the state of New York, I now pronounce you husband and wife,” he announced, before turning to Ethan, “You gonna kiss your bride or not?”
Everyone started to laugh as Ethan leaned in, his hands going to your hips as he kissed you.
Cheers erupted from your guests as he lifted you off the ground before gently sitting you back down. That’s when he noticed the necklace.
“Babe, is this…”
“Your grandmothers,” you said, finishing his thought. He started to tear up all over again.
He looked over to Quinn and mouthed ‘thank you’ before he took your hand and walked you back up the aisle.
You were quickly whisked away by the photographer, who wanted to get some beautiful shots of you and Ethan in the wooded area on the edge of the venue. The red and orange accents in his suit and boutonniere looked beautiful against the orange and yellow leaves.
“Can I have a minute with her?” Ethan asked the photographer. He nodded, stepping back a few yards but still snapping a few photos as the two of you talked. “You look so beautiful, and your vows were beautiful.”
“Yours were too, babe,” you said, standing on your tippy toes to kiss him.
“How are you feeling?” he asked, rubbing his hand across the well-hidden bump.
“I feel great right now. Hopefully I won’t be too tired later,” you smiled, as he took your hand in his and walked towards the photographer.
“Well, Mrs. Landry, let’s go to the party,” he said, as you smiled.
“I like the sound of that…Mrs. Landry.”
“Well good, because you’re stuck with me forever.”
When you made it back inside the venue, you immediately went into your first dance. The slideshow started, and it was perfectly timed out to the music as your arms were around Ethan’s neck. It showed pictures of the two of you as kids, before moving on to the pictures the two of you had taken as a couple. As you saw the engagement photos, you knew what the next one would be as the music stopped. You and Ethan both turned towards the screen as the picture of your sonogram popped up, with the words ‘Baby Landry coming soon’.
The gasps were audible, before everyone started to clap for the two of you. That’s when the DJ invited everyone else out to the dance floor to join you and Ethan.
“Wait, you’re pregnant?! That’s why you’re glowing!” Quinn said, looking down at your stomach, “I’m going to be an aunt!”
She was squealing, so excited for you, but also, her new title. “This dress is hiding it well. I’m sixteen weeks along,” you said, rubbing your hands across your belly.
“No way! Well, I guess I’ll be moving back to New York,” she smiled, “I’m not missing all the important moments of this baby’s life.”
“What about the guy you’re seeing?” you asked, as she rolled her eyes.
“I’ll make him come with me.”
After the wedding was winding down, the tiredness fully started to kick in.
“You okay?” Chad asked, as Ethan mingled with the guests.
“Yeah, just exhausted,” you sighed, as he looked at the ground.
“When you two get back from Mexico, I kind of need your help with something,” he said, flashing a smile.
“Oh?” you asked, waiting for him to say more. He glanced over to Tara, who was laughing at something Mindy said.
“Yeah, I hope this is okay because Ethan suggested that I talk to you tonight before you leave…but I’m going to ask Tara to marry me.”

I officially lost it, cattonquick invaded my brain, send help (pls don't, I want them to live in my brain forever tee hee).
Sooo, that Oliver tried to kill himself in the maze instead of Felix fic? Absolutely yes, in the works, hopefully, the first chapter will come out this weekend (sorry for the delay, I'm a very slow writer nowadays).
But I already planned out other cattonquick fics, bc focusing on one is too hard, so here are other ideas I'm currently working on! Bc I really, really, really need to share them with someone, or I will lose my mind, I swear.
1. Oxford days, Felix pov – For the first time, instead of hanging out in Felix's room, they're in Oliver's. They're supposed to be studying, but Felix being Felix decides to snoop around instead. Oliver is clearly bothered by that - tries to tell Felix they should study, he should stop, really, they need this essay finished by friday, but when Felix notices that Ollie is simply nervous, he gets even more curious. And here it is - hidden on the highest shelf of the wardrobe, something that is unmistakably a dildo. And isn't that interesting - Oliver is blushing and can't face him; so ofc Felix takes it out and pushes. Teases Oliver, until he's so red, Felix is concerned he'll implode. But the irony is, his first thought isn't even that Ollie likes to take it up the ass, no - but when he realizes that that's why Oliver was so embarrassed, the thought finds home in his mind and stays.
And now Felix can't stop thinking about it: Oliver on his bed, ass up, pumping the dildo in and out, with a blissed out expression. In that vision Oliver moans a name: Felix, Felix, Felix, over and over, and over again, and that's weird, because Felix isn't gay. He's not homophobic, and if Oliver is gay, that's fine, but he is not. Definitely.
So he puts the dildo back where it was hidden and decides to never tease Oliver about it ever again.
But of course that's not the end of it. Bc here Felix is, having the time of his life during some sort of a party, dancing with Ollie, laughing with him as they always do, when the chosen girl for the night not only tells him she's not intrested, she also suggests he should go back to his boyfriend and flirt with him, instead of taking time of some random girls when it is clear nothing will come out of it.
But Ollie is not his boyfriend, how could she even think that! So ofc now he's horny and frustrated, bc his plans for the night just got wrecked; he drinks instead and gets back to his room with his arm around Ollie.
And behind closed doors, the thoughts of Ollie, on his knees, come back. Felix is horny and confused, and Ollie looks especially pretty that night, and in his drunken state sleeping with him seems like a wonderful idea. And they do. And then they actually sleep. And then in the morning Felix is back to panicking and repeating that he is straight, this didn't mean anything, he'll get right back to fucking girls, thank you very much.
And the rest of the fic is these two idiots figuring their shit out. Bc drama and misunderstandings are my jam.
2. Jealous Felix - I think we all agree that scene between Farleigh and Oliver was very hot, but what if, what if Felix catches Oliver sneaking out and later leaving Farleigh's room? What if he spent the whole evening watching the two of them, laying on that couch together, heads so close they were almost kissing? And he's furious, even more so than when he thought Oliver was after Venetia - bc why Farleigh, when Felix was right there?
So yes, he watched Oliver all night and yes, he followed him, when he heard the door to his room open. And yes, he waited for him to leave Farleigh's room and was moments from barging in there and stopping whatever it was that was happening.
And now Oliver needs to explain - and Felix needs to claim what's his, bc if Oliver ever thought he belonged to anyone else, he was dead wrong.
3. A classic Oliver didn't lie fic - bc I need Felix to be the one groveling and apologizing more than I need air. The absolute tragedy of him confronting the poor not in stories, but in real life: of seing all that ruination, all the dirt, and pain, and vomit covering the streets. Smelling the piss, seeing people going through trash. Realizing, for the first time, that this is what Oliver's life looked like before he came to Oxford. This is what he woke up to, every day for as long as he could remember.
Just chef's kiss! My angst loving heart craves it more than anything.
So, that's it for now! I have more ideas lurking in the depths of my mind, but I'm trying not to indulge them. For now. ;)

ughhhh, i don't want my blog to turn into some kind of relationship-crybaby-blog, but i do have a lot to think about atm
i dont really have anyone to talk with about this. all my friends are in happy relationships and dont really seem to take any other stance than "you cannot break up" and that just really isnt helping me
buuuut, if you aren't interested in my personal (non-ed) issues, just scroll on<333 no hard feelings
so, for now, i'll just type this into space and hopefully get some kind of catharsis i guess
it's currently 1 am and i am in my childhood bedroom and i can't sleep. my head feels like it is fucking spinning. every thought in my head is "why do i feel like this? if i feel this bad should i just stay with him? but do i actually feel in love with him anymore? it's not fair to continue being with him, if i don't actually want to. would i miss him? would i regret it?" and then just in a big ol' loop
mixed with thoughts of my friend i talked to all of friday night. his face has popped up in my head constantly since i went home at 7 am from being with him all night. i feel fucking butterflies in my stomach, and get all giggly, and i want to say his name out loud for some strange reason - until i think about what these fucking butterflies mean and then i feel sick to my stomach and want to throw up. every butterfly i feel is like taking a step away from my bf, and i literally cannot control it
i feel like an absolutely horrible person, fuckk, brnfjkgnkmrf
'cause i also keep thinking about all the things my bf have done that hurt me (i guess, to make myself feel better?? but it makes me feel a whole lot fucking worse. both because i feel like a horrible person, and because he's made me fucking sad a lot of times)
like this summer, i got my bachelors degree (a fucking big thing for me - and he knew that), and he knew that i would have my last exam in, like, the end of june. i gave him the date as soon as i could (maybe two/three weeks ahead) and then like a week before i graduate, he remembers that he has plans with his 5 best friends to go drinking
and guess what
he chooses to go drinking with his friends. he celebrates me for like... 1 hour, 2 hours max. as soon as my friends arrived he was like "oops gotta go drinking with my friends that i can see all the time. no time to celebrate my girlfriend getting her bachelors degree, although she will never ever have a day like this again. no no, gotta go get shitfaced. and i am actually not going to apologize"
also at my last birthday, i celebrated it at my parents house for most of the day, and then went home in the evening (like after dinner) to go get drinks with my friends. we had planned that he would come home to my parents with me the day before, and then we could wake up together on my birthday and he could be with me and celebrate and stuff
3 days before my birthday, he says he doesn't want to go with me to my parents' house to celebrate my birthday, because he has to read for school (it was in a holiday as well, he didn't have school for days). the weekend before my birthday he chose to go drinking with his friends (i was ofc not invited) and couldnt get out of bed for days, but whenever my birthday rolled around he had to be an A fucking student. so he cancels and then we only see each other for the last, like, 4 hours of my birthday, with all of my friends and some family - and then he got annoyed with me for getting sad
he talks over me, he interrupts me and then never asks me what i was saying, he ignores me every time he picks up his phone, he always prioritizes friends, family, work and school over me, he's really good at making me feel small (not in the good way) and stupid. he corrects almost everything i say, also stuff that i dont say, but that he just want to "clear up". he drops plans w me so easily, to be with his friends and he almost never invites me. he insists on touching my belly although i've told him it makes me very uncomfortable, and then gets annoyed when i remove his hand - because 'he likes touching it, and i shouldnt feel bad about my belly'. he often ignores my text messages if he doesnt feel like they matter to him. when i ran my first 10K he ran 11K the next day to show off (he did apologize, but i still cant believe he actually did that shit). whenever ive met his friends and family, they are better at including me in the conversation than he is: he will leave me alone with people i barely know, to go do something else (and he knows that i have some social anxiety). he gets annoyed with me over things that he believes i do on purpose, but i dont (e.g. wake up later than him?? go pee before i make coffee for us?? when i forget socks when i sleep over, and ask to borrow some of his? same w phone charger and other stuff. and he usually ends up with saying "omg its just a joke" but i can feel that it isnt. otherwise he wouldve stopped doing it). sometimes he makes jokes at my expense or is just plain rude, and when i tell him to stop, he will tell me to grow up and accept a joke, and whenever i say he makes me uncomfortable/annoyed he says "i cant take that seriously" or "thats the fun part". he is horrible at picking up after himself, and will get annoyed with me if i do it for him (i cant stand mess, and he knows this.) he wont do the dishes for days on end in HIS OWN apartment, so whenever i come to visit, i usually end up doing them, cause i cant stand mess. and he ALWAYS comes out when theres like 1 spoon left and is like 'oh gosh nooo sweety, you shouldn't have done all that.. awww.. nooo, now i feel bad.. *hug, kiss* oh well' and then go back to laying on the couch).......
ofc he also has good sides, but now that i've mentioned all the crap i have a hard fucking time remembering it. but i know that he does. he gives good hugs, he can give great advice, he usually doesnt judge the stupid things i do. he knows my quirks and he likes cooking me food. he hates rubbing my back, and will get annoyed if i ask him, but he is good at it. he has nice eyes and a cute smile. he knows a lot about the things im interested in (but usually shows off his knowledge in a know-it-all kinda way). hes creative and has good music taste
ugh, i am so sorry for this long ass rant, but i just needed to get this off my chest... if anyone actually read all this, and has some advice or... anything... feel free to send a message or a reply or something idk
i feel horrible

Current medical situation
So I had my PET scan on Monday the 18th of September. That scan was the one to tell me if the chemotherapy worked or not. Had my consultant appointment on Thursday the 21st where they told me that the mass grew and the chemo didn't work. They said I could choose to either continue treatment here or go home for the rest of treatment. The next appointment was scheduled for the third of October. On Sunday the 24th we were staying at a hotel for the weekend bc when we booked it hoping to have a celebratory weekend but during Sunday lunch we had burger king and the right side of my mouth went numb along with my right hand. After like 20 minutes my mouth came back. Since we had only a day left we waited to go to the hospital as we didn't have all my paperwork and were scared and had to check out the hotel. When we got back in we called and the numbers on the leaflets to see what they suggested. Took hours for my consultant to call us back and tell us to come into the hospital. We were in the waiting room for around 6 hours before I was fed up and convinced hubby to take us home so I could sleep in our nice bed one last time. We were called another 4 hours after that to see a doctor but ofc missed it as we were asleep. We went back up around 10am bc we accidentally slept in and we weren't seen by the doc for about 8 hours. Then they had us have a CT scan. We ordered food and waited for the results. They told us that the scan showed a mass and swelling in my brain and I would be going inpatient again. Had my MRI on Thursday the 28th bc there weren't any slots on Wednesday and on Friday they told me no doctor in their right mind would risk me flying home that it's too dangerous so now I'm stuck here. No idea when or if I'll get home just missing my family and dog. I need extra intense chemo that's strong enough to get through the blood brain barrier and hope I'm stronger than the cancer in the end. I had my new PICC line put in suddenly and it took an hour and a half last time it was only half an hour so there were definitely some complications which was very scary but I'm okay. Not dead yet.

Emma was discharged on the following Friday. Billy had just fed and changed her for the last time on the ward, when Steve came in to fetch his small family home. "I know those jammies," Steve smiled as he set the baby seat on the floor, and hugged Billy. "They're ancient." "I know," Billy laughed. "Blame your mom for not throwing them away either." "Don’t we have new ones? Like, loads of them?" "Yes. But I wanted to put them on her because your mom will love it." Once Billy had put warmer overalls on Emma, he gave her to Steve so that he could put on his own jacket. Steve, who’d had only one weekend’s worth of training in handling her, was still a bit awkward with her, but he too was learning. He tried to remind himself that as long as he kept her head supported and didn't drop her he was doing just fine. He hadn't told Billy, but he was as terrified of Emma being released to be taken care of by the two of them as Billy was, if not even more. But he wanted to keep Billy thinking that at least he had things in control so that Billy wouldn’t totally lose it. “You know, you can put her into the seat,” Billy said smiling after he’d donned his jacket and was ready to leave. “Oh, right,” Steve said and did what he was told. “I have to find Camille and thank her for everything, I know she’s somewhere here. You can take Emma to the car, I’ll come and find you in the parking lot," Billy said and left.
Steve left for the car, thanking the nurses on his way out. He was carrying the seat like it was his most precious treasure, as the contents of it indeed were, and tried to move as calmly as possible to not wake Emma up. But when they got outside and were met by wind, of course she woke up and informed Steve about it very loudly. “Hey, little girl, I know this is your first time outside. But please do not cry, please?” Emma didn’t stop, and Steve felt helpless. Billy would’ve known what to do. Steve tried to carry his girl to the car as soon as possible. Of course the only free spot he’d found had been in the other end of the massive parking lot. When Billy finally came to the car, Steve was sitting on the back seat next to Emma's seat and almost crying. Billy squatted next to the car. “Hey, babe, what’s wrong? You couldn’t get her to stop crying?” he asked concerned. The girl kept howling, still protesting her first experience of being outside. “I...I tried. But she just won't stop,” Steve said, looking at Billy with a plea in his eyes. “Babe, it’s like that sometimes,” Billy said and rubbed Steve’s thigh with his hand. “I can’t always turn her off either. She probably decided that this weather is not for her. She’s my girl alright. Hey, babe, you drive, I’ll stay here in the back with her.” Steve got on to the driver's seat, and as soon as Billy sat down and put his hand on Emma’s cheek, she started to calm down. Steve looked at Billy through the rear-view mirror. “See? You have a magic touch.” Billy looked back smiling and sighed. “Babe, the only difference between us is that I’ve spent the last two weeks with her almost full time. She doesn’t yet know you. But she will.” “I sure hope so.” Billy kept looking at him. “You sound like I did last week." “I’m just...overwhelmed I guess.” “Steve “The Babysitter” Harrington,” Billy said sympathetically but with a smirk, and making air quotes with his free hand. “You will learn, just like I did. Hey, don’t cry!” Billy said when he saw Steve getting all teary-eyed, and wrapped his arm around the driver’s seat and patted Steve’s chest. "We’re in this together. We can do this.” “You sound more sure of it than I do.” “Babe, we really have no choice at this point. It's ride or die." "I’m scared.” “So am I,” Billy said hugging Steve as best as he could from behind the seat. “But all we have to do for now is to keep Emma fed and alive. Those are pretty simple goals to begin with, right? We can figure out the harder stuff later.”
They got back to the Harrington house where they would spend few more days to get to know Emma better in peace, have a small get together with friends, and then fly back home to San Francisco.
Steve’s mom and dad were waiting for them. “Oh my lord,” Steve’s mom gushed when she saw Emma. “She’s so cute. And that hair! It’s just like Steve’s!” “Yes, mom, it is,” Steve said smiling. When he saw Billy open the zipper of Emma’s overalls, he continued: “And cue the...” “Those jammies! They’re Steve’s,” she gasped when she saw Emma’s overalls. “Aww, let me take this nugget from you so you can settle down,” she said and took Emma with years of experience. “I guess we know who to call to babysit when we need to.” “Oh yes, absolutely. Hello Emma,” she cooed, “come with nana and let your daddies take their jacket’s off." When Steve’s mom, now a proud grand-mother - she insisted on being called nana - and Billy went to the living room to get better acquainted with Emma, Steve was met by his dad for the first time since Emma's birth for he'd been on a business trip the weekend before. “Son,” he said. “Congratulations.” “I'm grateful that you found Emma for us, but don't wait for forgiveness from me just because of her,” Steve said coldly. “I don’t. I don’t deserve it.” “I don’t think you really mean that, dad, but fine. For now. For her. If you really want to fix things, there’s plenty of work ahead.” His dad just nodded. Steve didn’t say anything more because there was nothing more to say. Eleven years without talking to his own son was an insult. And for what? Things he didn’t have anything to say to, something that was none of his business. Steve joined Billy and his mom, leaving his dad to stand alone in the hall.
After they’d had dinner, Billy took Emma to bed. He put his book down when Steve came to the room later. "She's sleeping," he whispered. "I will take care of her if she wakes up. You need the sleep, you've been awake almost two weeks in a row," Steve said as he sat on the bed and Billy snuggled under his arm. Billy looked at him. "Are you absolutely sure you're up for it? You had sort of a breakdown earlier." "Yes, I'm sure. You have set everything ready and we went through the drill, I can handle it. And you've been so amazing these few weeks, firecracker," Steve whispered and kissed Billy's head. "You shouldn't have to be the only one responsible for her, and how else am I going to learn." "Ok then, if you say so. But you can wake me up if you need to." "You're taking care of our girl so well," Steve said. Soon Billy could feel Steve sniffling. He sat up, and wiped the tears away from Steve's face. "Babe, hey, don't cry. That's my job," Billy replied, and his eyes were already glistening too. They kissed, first gently, until the kisses got rougher and their breathing heavier. "I missed you so much," Billy whispered between kisses. "Me too, firecracker," Steve replied. "Can we...?" "Yeah, but we have to be quiet. Maybe be quick about it? She is a good sleeper, but this is a new place and she might wake up easier because of it." Steve smirked. "Well, we know who's the loud one of us." "And you get off of it, so apparently both of us have to unlearn some things," Billy smiled back, and kissed Steve. And the kiss was gentle, full of love and whole new kind of affection. They had a family together, they were bonded together by the little girl sleeping in Steve's old crib in the corner of the room. But it didn't diminish the desire that was burning inside them.
"I've been starving without you this whole time you've been here with her," Steve whispers, and kisses Billy, hard. "Sleeping without you was the worst," Billy replies. Steve turns Billy under him, soon tracing Billy's neck with his mouth. "Babe, let's just have a quickie, please," Billy whispers. Steve looks at him amused. "You've never turned down a head. This must be serious," he whispers fake-mockingly. Billy lets out a quiet laugh: "Right now I'm more interested about not waking Emma up than what lovely tricks you can do with that pretty mouth of yours." So, Steve sits up. Billy passes him the lube from the nightstand, and while Steve applies it, Billy turns around. But Steve stops him. "I want to see your face, Billy. Ride me." Hearing his name from Steve in the middle of having sex makes Billy let out a sigh. When Steve sits leaning against the headboard, Billy stradles on his lap and sits on his hard cock, drawing gasps out of them both. They both stop for a while to listen to any noises from the crib at the same time, and when they look back at each other, they let out a laugh. Billy starts to ride Steve, slowly, matching Steve's thrusts. When Billy is about to come, Steve thrusts in him harder and they kiss, so that when Billy whimpers Steve's name on the moment of his release, he does it quietly on Steve's lips, making Steve come. Billy's cum spreads between them, shooting all the way to their chests from the pressure gathered over the week they’ve been apart. Billy leans his head on Steve’s shoulder, all spent, and Steve hugs him, knowing well that they both have to clean up and probably also come up with something to clean the headboard with. The thought of messing up the headboard makes him laugh, and he tries to suppress it, but doing so just makes it worse. Soon they both are trying to keep themselves from laughing, and failing at it.
Their little bundle of joy kept sleeping through it all, but the headboard definitely needed some cleaning, or Steve’s mom would have some questions.
Steve got up when Emma woke up crying in the early morning hours. "Yeah, daddy-S got you," he whispered, not quite yet awake. "Shh, let's not wake up daddy-B...Oh, wow, poo alert," he whispered when the smell hit his nose as he lifted her on his arms. He grabbed the bag with the baby wipes, diapers, and clean overalls for emergencies with him, and tried to close the room door behind him as quietly as possible. "Yes, Emma, we both share the discomfort of you being both hungry and needing to be changed," he spoke quietly to her as he took her downstairs. "Trust me, I'm being as fast as I can."
After getting a quick wash in the downstairs bathroom and getting into a clean diaper and clean overalls, because of course part of her back was covered in poo as well, Emma calmed down a bit, but just about that much. "I know, Em, but it's going to take a few minutes still," Steve said as he took her to the kitchen, trying not to give up and just cry with his little girl who was now crying with alarmingly red face. He took the bottle Billy had prepared for Emma from the fridge and put it into the microwave oven, and walked around the kitchen rocking Emma while waiting the milk to warm up. "I had no idea you have such great lungs. I bet any singer would be jealous of you." The ding from the micro was a relief to Steve. He tested the warmth of the milk with a drop of it on his wrist, just like Billy had shown him. Thank god it was perfect. He gave the bottle to Emma, who didn't waste a moment to get into eating. Steve let out a deep breath. His left ear was ringing, which was a testament to Emma being completely healthy at this point. And despite having a weak moment of almost giving up, he gave himself a mental pat on the back for managing the situation and achieving the goal of getting her changed and eating despite the added challenge of her crying like a siren.
Steve carried Emma into the living room where he could feed her more comfortably. After sitting down on the couch he watched as she ate with a good appetite. "You have blue eyes and lashes to die for just like your daddy-B. I wonder if you decide to turn those blues into greens or grays. I bet they won't be brown like mine though. They'd be that already now, I think. But I hope you keep the brown hair though. We too should have something to match, right?" He paused for a moment. "You know, I love your daddy-B very much. If I didn't have him, I wouldn't have you, Em. And that would be sad. Because even though you can be demanding, and I don’t know at all what I’m doing, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else right now." When all of the milk was gone, Steve lifted Emma up on his shoulder to burp her. She whined, so he decided to sing to her while walking around the room and rocking her. To his dismay he couldn't remember any nursery rhymes, so he just hummed some melody out of his own head.
"That is the cutest damn thing I’ve ever seen," someone said behind Steve. Steve turned around and saw Billy walking towards him. "Hey! Weren't you supposed to be sleeping?" "I was. But she was already crying quite loud when you got up. I was about to get up myself, but when you finally managed it, I decided to just see if you needed any help with her," Billy smiled. "And I thought I was doing so well," Steve said, disappointed. Billy hugged Steve and brushed Emma's cheek with his finger. "Babe, you are doing well. I didn't intervene, did I? I was just sitting in the staircase and listening to you two." "So you heard me talking to her?" "I did. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else than here with you two right now either."

so last week was the first official week off after exams, and we did absolutely nothing the whole week except try and get ready for prom. on monday we went back to school just to hang out, and played bluff (badly) and poker (even more badly) and a korean drinking game sans the drinking, and then we decided to have an impromptu shopping trip so we walked to the station in the dead heat and took the train to the mall which had the LONGEST link ever, and the all the while we were just talking and laughing and doing whatever being the most annoying people on the train. when we got there we had the longest lunch ever and it was DELICIOUS we bought ice cream to share at the end and then walked back and forth and back and forth between jewellery stores and shoe shops and didn't buy anything because we were just scouting for when the sales hit on the weekend. I tried several lipsticks on my hand and I put face glitter on my besties, and we went to the sephora I tried all the shades of green eyeshadow I could find, and then we decided to head home, and it had become super hazy and dusty outside to the point where it looked like it was going to rain!! the trainsurfing-inside-the-train was fun and I did not even fall over once but it was an excellent shopping trip despite the fact that going anywhere with my friends is like herding cats. the next time I went to school we were having a self defense session and my friend went gaga for the instructor, and we stalked him on instagram but couldnt find anything and then we found him on facebook (yuck). on friday I got up early, got ready, and got to the mall only having realised that I FORGOT my PHONE at home so instead i read my black widow comics while i sat and ate pancakes in the food court which was nice. there were fewer people this time but it was just as fun, because we walked around and into a couple of shoe stores and we made our only guy friend try on the stilettos which he ended up being able to wear (ofc he did) and then he and I split a deal on marvel t-shirts (he bought deadpool, I got thor love and thunder ♡) and then we took the train to a different mall because that one is BETTER and my fashion friend and I bought stuff from sephora. then we split up and and my guy friend and I ran through about 50 makeup stores (he said he learned the more about makeup that than he ever previously knew ♡) and we ended up buying eyeshadow and this KILLER!!! red lipstick from the wet n wild eventually in the supermarket...then we grabbed lunch which was fun and then headed home ♡ most hectic shopping trips of my life but they were FUN ♡ on sunday I drove the farthest I'd ever driven so I could get final fixes on my prom dress and I managed to find earrings and rings!!!!! and they went so well with my dress ♡♡♡ I still cant parallel park though,,, anyway. on monday we were gonna go hang out at school again but none of us were feeling up to it so instead we just went to my friend's house and hung out with her and cats ♡ and played uno and had lemon-blueberry cupcakes and blueberry lemonade and pizza and played the most summer songs we could find on spotify...and then in the evening I found a choker that went with my earrings!!! twas wonderful and best precursor-to-prom I couldve asked for ♡

time for a ramblely post about my life because i'm actually really happy rn
so my partner holy shit they're so amazing i don't even know how to explain it but everything they do just proves how incredible they are,, like we haven't said "i love you" to each other but i feel 100x more loved by them they i ever did by my ex who must have told me they loved me at least 100 times
ok btw i have no idea where this post is gonna go it's probably just gonna be a bunch of random thoughts all lumped together
so uh the reason i've been fairly inactive lately is because it's robotics comp season! Our first comp was last weekend meaning that the week leading up to it I was super busy trying to help get all the things to work (they still didn't lol) friday and saturday were insanely long days that were fun but also so tiring
we barely got things working in time on friday to clear inspection and make it to one practice match and then on saturday we had the worst possible schedule (first match of the day, a random match, last match before lunch, then 2 10min turn arounds, and then last match of the day) the most stressful part of the day was when in the last match before lunch we overextended our arm, pulled out all of the electronics, broke the extension spool, and got 25 penalty points. we spent lunch trying to fix all of that and also change out wheels (we didn't have a chance before because of our shit schedule) and also someone thought it would be a good idea to swap intakes but then we had to unswap intakes because the new one was too big and then the two very fast turn arounds after that were hella stressful
we actually ended up wining our last match of the day tho and i'm very proud of that since i took lead on the strategy talk before the match
then sunday we had a better match schedule and won one lost one so we ended quals 39/42 and therefore didn't go to playoffs, and me being the so so smart person that I am decided that since the other goalie was out sick it would be a great idea to go to my soccer game that afternoon (after 2.5 long tiring days of robotics)
And so I did and by the end of the game i felt like i was gonna fall asleep and i don't know how i managed to make several good saves and we only lost 5-0 (2 of their goals were super lucky tho) I am really glad i went since i got to see an ex-teammate and teammate who might quit the team soon for running and i hadn't seen either of them since last season
this week i've had a bit more time and monday i was so so so tired that during my freeblock which i usually use for hw since i have no free time i just hung out w/ my partner and was like half asleep the whole time, me and my partner also skipped an assembly on burnout because we were both too tired (they had a vaulting comp at the same time as my robotics comp) also tuesday i skipped soccer because of the weather so i got a whole afternoon off
over the next 2 weeks i'm only gonna have 5 days of school because we get next wed-fri off for conferences and then i'm at robotics the following thurs-sat which i think is kinda funny
uh anyway shifting gears,,, thursday i had my gender and sexuality class w/ my ex and since the teacher was out we spent the whole time in small groups talking about quotes from our hw reading and I ended up w/ a friend and my ex and ofc my ex felt the need to read out each of the quotes which normally would be like whatever but for some reason that day i just could not deal w/ their voice or their strong opinions on stupid things
there was one point where their voice had gotten to me so much that i just kinda zoned out and then they had the audacity to ask me if I was ok and that threw me for a fucking loop because when we were dating the only time they would notice something was off was when i was tired not when something was actually going on, like the day where they caused me to have a mental breakdown i was very clearly not ok that afternoon and they didn't say a single thing despite us having class together and so for them to say something now despite me having made it clear we're not friends ??????????
also i was in this state where I was torn between why does their voice still hurt me so fucking much and why don't i hate them more they did some really shitty things to me and i'm just so confused how i can feel both of those things about them and aaaa i just want them to go away
ok this has gotten long enough and i have some things i need to do so i'll probably reblog this later to talk about yesterday :)

Part 15 Part 17
Part 16
Liam cooked us a chicken stir-fry with Asian vegetables for dinner. I was mildly surprised that he was such a good cook and told him so. He said he had to learn pretty quickly in the early days of his career when he would go months without a paying job.
"I was lucky. My parents were supportive, so I knew I wouldn't starve, and they would give me money if I asked. I didn't want to, though. I felt like if I had to ask for money, then I was a failure. It motivated me to go to more auditions, prepare better, take some classes to get more skills, perfect my accents."
I admired him for that. From what I knew about his family, they seemed to be wealthy. It would have been easy for him to rely on them while trying to make it.
Liam had told me a lot about his family. He was very close to his two brothers. It seemed like he was a bit of a mummies boy, and I supposed that comes from being the youngest. He seemed to credit his Dad for his love of stories and his desire to act.
"Have you told them about me? Your family, I mean." I asked a bit hesitantly, unsure how I'd feel if he said no.
I shouldn't have worried though, his huge smile said it all. "I told Mum about you over a month ago."
"We hadn't even met yet."
"I know," Liam sounded a bit bashful as he continued. "My Mum kept saying how happy I sounded. I kept dropping hints that she thought I was seeing someone. She's very good at reading me. She hounded me until I told her."
"What did she say?"
"She was surprised we hadn't met. I spoke to her during the week a few times and told her we'd met, and it went well, and we'd seen each other the whole weekend. It was a bit awkward like I said. She knows me too well. She said, 'You mean you spent the weekend shagging.'"
"Oh, my God!" I was so embarrassed. "What did you say? She's going to think I'm the town bike."
"She wasn't judging, by the way. She was worried about how you would react to me. She was happy because she felt like I shouldn't have used Simons photos."
"She's not wrong," I said.
"I know, I know. Do I have to apologise again?"
"No, just don't do it again."
He briefly grinned but then looked at me, his face and tone serious. "Hopefully, I'll never have to."
I didn't know how to respond to that. What did he even mean by that? I didn't ask. I wasn't sure if I wanted to know. I cleared my throat. "Is that all she said?" I asked, instead.
Liam opened his mouth and was about to say something before closing his mouth and trying again. "Well, then she saw the photos and stories about us. I tell her not to read that stuff because most of it is rubbish. But she does. Anyway, she said we looked lovely together and..." he paused before continuing. "And she can't wait to meet you in a few months. She's coming for a visit in late June early July for my two-week hiatus."
I almost asked what he was going to say, but I changed my mind. "What about your brothers? Your Dad?"
"Well, my Dad isn't much of a talker when it comes to relationships. But he did say Mum had shown him your picture and that you seemed like a nice girl. Other than that, he didn't comment. He rarely does unless he thinks someone isn't good for me."
"Is he coming with your mum?"
"Only for one week. My mum will stay for nearly three. My brothers well..." he grinned. "You know what brothers are like. We are rarely serious together. Also, we rarely call each other. We mostly keep in contact through group chats." His lip twitched as he said, 'there were a lot of ginger jokes this week."
I could only imagine what those chat logs contain. I rolled my eyes at the thought. "The bastards," I said.
Liam laughed then asked, "what about your family?"
"I haven't told them much. Dave knows a bit. I haven't told Mum anything." I shifted in my seat. "Dave knew I was seeing someone after I asked him to watch Perrin. But he didn't ask questions. Then on Friday, he found out it was you. He seemed ok with it." I brightened and said, "they will know all about you next week anyway."
Liam returned my smile.
After dinner, we went to bed. We both read for a while. Liam sat up with his back against the headboard while I laid on my back, using his chest as a pillow. I read until I fell asleep.
I grew to hate Sundays.
Sunday's meant my time with Liam was coming to a close. This Sunday had a silver lining because I would only have to wait until Thursday to see him again. This only partially comforted me because it was also the premiere. As the time drew closer, I knew I'd regret saying yes.
I sat with my head in my hands in the store's dressing room. Just picking which dresses to try on had been an ordeal. I had done a quick google search that morning to see what kind of dresses people wore to premieres, and it was almost no help. The range was too extensive. It seemed nearly anything was acceptable, from cocktail dresses to full-on evening wear.
Some articles made me feel sick, especially the articles about the actresses. So many articles talked about how many women found it hard to find dresses in their size because they were size 6 and too big to fit into most designers dresses. I checked out a size conversion chart and found that size 6 was a size 10 here. I was usually a size 10, but sometimes my arse needs a size 12.
I started thinking I was too fat. I kept thinking about my huge arse and thighs, which got me spiralling into thinking my breasts were too small, my hair was too frizzy, I had too many freckles, and I was too pale. The list of my faults just grew in my head until I was sure I'd end up at the premiere looking like a bush pig in a dress.
I started to breathe deeply, in through my nose, hold it, out through my mouth. After several breaths, I opened my eyes. I could do this. I picked up the first dress the assistant had helped me pick. She knew it wasn't going to wor. It was a loose short black lace dress with puffy sleeves that would make me look like the only shape I had was round. The other picks she made were dresses that looked like they were for the bride's grandmother. She also looked at Liam too many times for my liking. She was very helpful if you call taking us to dresses sold out in my size useful. Or if directing all her questions at Liam was helpful. I'll bet she's out there right now being helpful...
Fuck me dead! I think I'm jealous.
That was an emotion I hadn't felt in a while, and I didn't like it. Fuck that. I don't need to be jealous. I picked through the dresses until I found the one I already knew would be the winner.
It was from Australian designer Maticevski. The gown was black with a high neckline, and the beautiful fabric gathered on the left shoulder. The dress was pulled from the hips and cinched in the waist. It had a thigh-high split, revealing just enough skin to be sexy and a small but elegant train. I loved it the moment I saw it and knew I wanted it. But it was $2,500. I loved it so much I almost didn't care. I mean, I knew I wasn't the one people cared about. They wanted to see Liam. This time was different because it would be our first official event together, and the story right now was who was he dating. This time I would get attention. But I still thought it was too much money. I had almost put it back, but the assistant smirked. Liam, bless him, took it out of my hands and said he would love to see it on me.
I wriggled my way into the dress and looked into the mirror. It was the winner for sure. I had brought my heels from Friday night to try the dress on with, and though they weren't quite right for the dress, they gave a good idea of what I would look like. It was slightly too tight around the hips and too a little big on the top. I could get it altered, though. It wouldn't take much. Maybe even a bra with a bit of padding would fix it. I flipped my hair to give it some bounce and a sexy 'just been fucked' look and stepped out.
I was right. She was hitting on Liam hard. I wanted to punch her in the face. But then Liam saw me, and the way he looked at me made me forgot about her. I took a few steps over to him and posed in an over the top way.
"What do you think?" I asked Liam.
He didn't say anything, but his eyes did. He had the same look when he approached me on Friday night. This is definitely the dress.
"It's not too dressed up? I could try something else if you think it's too much." I said to Liam.
"It doesn't quite fit. Perhaps the..." the assistant didn't get time to finish before Liam spoke.
"No." He said firmly, cutting her off. He cleared his throat and approached me. "It's absolutely perfect." He kissed me, and his lips were so soft. He ran his hands over my waist and stood back, looking me up and down. "Perfect. We will take it."
"You don't want to try..." the assistant tried again.
Liam didn't even look at her. "I said we would take it. The other dresses can go back. Thank you for your help." I loved it when he spoke in that authoritative tone, which made me weak.
She went into the dressing room and took away the ten other dresses I was going to try. I wasn't sad to see them go, none of them would be as good as this, but I still wasn't sure.
"I can try another dress. I mean, this one is stupid expensive."
"I don't care if it was a hundred thousand dollars, you look amazing, and you like it, so you will have it."
"I just don't know if I can afford to spend money like this for one night."
"I invited you. I'm paying."
"Fuck. I should have said I need matching earrings." I joked.
"Do you?" He asked, sincere.
"No, don't be silly. Shoes and a handbag will do. I'll buy the shoes you buy the bag. Deal?"
"Nope." He was shaking his head, "I want to get everything for you. Think of it as an Easter present."
"I can afford to buy things for myself, you know. I make pretty good money considering I own my house, and I only have to take care of myself and Perrin."
"I know." Liam ran his fingers through his hair. "Call me a misogynist if you want, but I want to buy you things, pretty things, things you'd never buy yourself. I want to take care of you."
I decided to let it go. I didn't think it's misogynistic to want to buy your girlfriend a present. It's misogynistic if you think you own her because you chose to buy her things. And it did feel nice to have him want to buy me pretty things.
"Ok, Liam," I said.
His smile came back. "Good. Get changed, and let's buy you some shoes." His lip twitched. "Do you need help taking it off?"
"Get out of it." I laughed and got changed.
When I had come out, he wasn't waiting for me. I looked around and couldn't find him in the shoes or the bags. A thought came to me. I hated that I thought it, but I wondered if the shop assistants come on had worked. I didn't believe it, not really, but once the thought was there, it wouldn't leave.
I didn't want to, but I looked for the shop assistant. As I looked, I felt sick from fear and disgust with myself. I found her putting away the dresses from the dressing room, and I breathed a sigh of relief. I hated myself. I wasn't usually like this. It wasn't fair on Liam either. He had given me no reason to suspect him at all.
Then I started to panic. My breath came out shallow and rapid. I felt smothered. There were no windows, and I needed to get out. There were too many people.
I felt warm hands slide under my t-shirt and rest on my belly.
I jumped and spun around. It was Liam. "Ready for shoes, Sweetheart?" He asked.
"Where were you? I looked everywhere."
"I went down to menswear real quick," Liam said. "Now that I know what you're going to wear, I know what I'm going to wear, and I needed a new shirt. It took longer than I thought."
"No worries. I just, I didn't know, it's ok."
"You ok?"
I nodded. "Let's go."

Movie Nigth
Pairing: Tom Holland x Reader
Warning: language i guess, cute af maybe way to cheese in some parts :)
A/N: This idea came to my mind like 2 weeks ago, like at 3 am when i couldn't sleep. I hope you guys like it! Xx
Summary: Movie night with the Holland's every Friday, a tradition for the last 5 years, since today something more was added to the tradition and to your life
Tumblr media
I just arrived to the Holland's house, my second home...
I got out of the uber and i saw Harry sitting outside, on the stairs "Hello, Harold" i said while i walked closer to him "Hi Y/N" he said as he standed up "I though that you couldn't come" he said as we walked inside the house "But you waited for me at the stairs like always" i said when i felt a cute little redhead hug me "Y/N!" He said with a huge smile "I missed you Pad" i said while hugging him back "i saw you last week dump ass" i just laughed and smiled "but i didn't saw you all the times that i came over this week!"
Trying to know if Tom was back
Suddenly i heard a noise coming out of the kitchen, then i saw that body, i just runned towards him "Tom!" I said as I runned to his arms "I though that you would be back next week!" He looked at me and said "Surpriseeee!!" I hugged him tighter and he gave me a soft kiss "we are here!" Paddy shouted, and we broke the kiss and laughed
Some day he will stop doing that
"I missed you, love. More than anything and anyone" i looked up at him, and laughed "Yeah, and i will belive that you missed me more than your princess Tessa" i said when suddenly Tessa came out of the kitchen "Ohhhh! I did not saw that coming" me neither kid Harry said and i laughed "If you don't want to belive me..." Tom said as he went next to Tessa "Whatever you say Thomas! Were are your parents and Sam??" I asked, looking at the guys in front of me "Mom and Dad went for the food, Sam went to pick up his gf" Paddy said exited
I know that this kid is exited about the food, but i don't care
I looked at him and laughed "Ohh! I see! Now you like her more than me!? Okay Patrick... now you can go to hell and your birthday gift too!" i said as i turned and hugged Tom, acting like if i was crying it looked so fake but anyway "1. You will always be my favorite, just don't tell Sam that 2. Patrick!? I told you that i am Paddy! 3. A gift? Can i get it!? and 4. I know that you aren't crying" he said, and we all laughed "Yep, but i didn't bought it, sorry :(" i said and he looked mad at me "You liar!" He said when he realised that there was no gift and started running me around the house
I love this kidd, can my kids be like him??

We just watched the first movie, it was 'Me before you' in case you want to know today the girls choose the movie, and right now we are looking for the second one "This one" Elysia said *elysia is sam"s gf irl* Nikky looked at me saying like hate that movie and i said "Nop, other one" Nikky smiled at me thanks
I could hear Tom and Dom laughing in the back and Sam saying "Can they stop bullying her"
You know that we love her kidd!
I wanted to laugh so baldy of what was happening behind us but they couldn't realise that i hearing "This one!" Nikky said, i laughed and said "Really!? Again!?" I saw the way that Elysia looked at me, like saying don't reply to her like that or you will be in trouble "C'mon Y/N! Your bf is in the movie, correction both of your boyfriends are in the movie and Harry" i turned to the guys as said "The impossible for the million time guys??" They all laughed at looked at Nikky "Mom, we always see the same movie... can we wach other thing please??" Harry said as Paddy jumped and said "And i don't like the fact thay I'm not in the movie, and my brothers are! I'm actually tired of seeing their faces!" Nikky opened his eyes, really big "Patrick Holland! Don't talk like that!"
We know that he is joking
"And ok guys... other movie will be" everybody was happy and Nikki just rolled her eyes "Thank you so much, i love you, i was already done with that movie, and don't forget that I'm in it! I own you one, no! We all own you one! You the best!" Tom said as he jumped out of the sofa, came closer to me and pick me up un his arms, like in the just married way, and gave a really cute and soft kiss "Stop!!" Paddy said
See! He always does that!
We laughed at the youngest person in the room "Let them Paddy, they are so cutee!" Nikki said and Tom put me down on the floor and said "Mother!" I laughed "Then stop being cute, if you don't want me to talk like that"
I stand, and love the best mother ever
Tom sat next to me on the floor, with his head on my shoulder, playing with my hair, while we were trying to chosse the next movie

The second movie ended, we decided to watch 'Sixteen Candles', a classic, Paddy's reaction on some part were just so damm hilarious
For nigth we usually see 2 movies, then all the guys go back to their rooms, i go with Tom, and later i go back home, while the guys have a sleepover in the living room.
Rigth now it's 11 pm.
Tom and i were cleaning the living, Paddy was changing into his pijamas, Harry washing the dishes, and Sam saying goodbye to Elysia "Do you have something to do tomorrow early??" Tom asked knowing my answer "Weekend are to sleep and eat Thomas" he laughed and just nodded.
And that's what i do on my weekends basically
Once all the guys were downstairs Sam said "Did you ask her" Tom looked up and said "Yep, she's completely free" Paddy smiled and Harry said "Who aks her??" Paddy jumped and said "Me!! Pleseee!!" I looked at all of them confused, they just nodded "Ok, Y/N... We have known you since always, at least me, for how long guys?" Paddy asked his older brothers
15 years of friendship, 10 of being like my second family, 5 of being family aka me dating Thomas
"15 years" Harry said "they have known you for 15 years, me for 14 because of obvious reasons. You had being coming to this house almost every Friday for the last 5 years, and we all were talking, and we thought that now that you are more family than before, because you are dating Tom, is the rigth moment to ask you to stay over every Friday, be part of our sleepover" Paddy said, while all the Holland guys looked at me waiting for my answer
Wait, what!?
"You guys are offering me to stay, a Friday!? Friday sleepovers are a guys thing that you have always done!" Tom hold my hand and said "Yes, love. We are telling you that you can stay, i mean you are family. And Friday sleepovers aren't a guys thing, is a family thing, we don't even know why we didn't asked you before, so here we are... Will you stay??" He asked at me while looking at my eyes
Don't to that Holland
"First i wanna know something" they looked confused at each other "What??" Sam said "It's this because Harrison isn't here??" They all looked shook "Tbh we didn't even though that, but no, because this is for now untill the day we die, with or without Harrison" Sam said, i looked to all the guys "Ofc guys! I will stay"
This sounds like such a big deal, and it is, it isn't something stupid. This isn't the fist time that i sleepover in this house, but on Friday, Never! How many time i wanted to have a date with Tom, or celebrate an anniversary, and we couldn't because it was FRIDAY. This is like the moment when they are all together, something that almost never happenes lately, that's why this is so important, and why i was so shocked
I went upstairs with Tom, to his room, once i was i laid on his bed next to him "Can you give some clothes, Tommy??" He came closer and kissed me, for the first time in the day it wasn't a soft kiss, i was a really passionate kiss, suddenly he broke it "What the hell?" I said confused "I have to give you some clothes, and that's hard" i was confused "why?? You can give that hoodie and i would be happy with that" he looked at me with a cute smile and said "I know that, love. But rn it isn't just us, there will be my siblings" he said with a smile and turned back to his closet
You little trash, i love you
He gave me hoodie and some sweet pants, i changed, waited for him to change and them we went downstairs, finding what i always see, the living with mattresses waiting for people to sleep there, jumped in on the mattress, scaring Paddy "Can you please never do that AGAIN!?" He said turning all red, so cuteeee "Okay padster, but just bc I'm your fav" i said and Tom in the back laughed
I love this family sow much

"I wanna know something, something that I've always wanted to know" Paddy said while eating his ice cream "Ask" Sam said whit his mouth full of ice cream "How dis you guys meet??" I reased my eyebrow "Well I meet Sam on mom's belly, and Tom once we came out of your mother belly" Harry said with a proud smile, idiot, "Mmm you know what i mean!" Paddy yelled "Well, we meet Y/N thanks to 4 year old Harry, the idiot broke her candy, and 6 year old Y/N got kinda mad" Tom said and i laughed remembering the day "Yep, i got so mad with Harry that went close to Nikki and to tell her that i needed a new candy or something like that" all of us were laughing remembering that "After that, whenever we when to that park, we found her, later we realised that Tom and her went to the same school and that's how the friendship started" Sam ended the story
Yep, i hated this kids since 2003 :)
"And that's the story of how i stated hating Harry!" I said whith a smile "And that's the moment when i felt for her" Tom said holding my hand and rubbing it "Liar! You always say that was when mom passed away, and until my grandma was back i lived here for like 3 moths. And thay was 10 years ago no 15!" I said acting like offended.
I really don't care about my mom, i mean, i miss her, she was my mom, but she was a bich so...
"Ohh! Yeah! Confused dates!" We said while playing with Tessa "Idiot" Harry said "Talks" Tom said, Paddy, Sam and I were waiting for the 'fight' "Shut up, and thank me!" Tom opened his eyes big "Why should i thank you??" Harry laughed "because without me, there would have never existed a you and Y/N" Harry said. Good point Harold. "Yeah... you are rigth" Tom said

"What time is it?" Sam asked "4:50" Tom replied "Let's go then!" Paddy said, as he jumped out and went to the backyard. I looked at the guys confused "Wanna watch the sunrise, love?" Tom said giving me a hand to stand up.
We were outside, Harry took his camera and started tooking photos, telling Sam and Paddy what to do, while i was stand behind them, holding hands with sponge bob aka Tom
This is so beautiful
"You are prettier" I looked confused at Tom "i didn't said anything" he smiled "but your face talks by itself" he said while putting his arms around me "Harry! Took some picture of us!" He said while holding my hand and running.
I love you
He stared running around the garden, idk how or when he made a move and pull me into his arms, like the just married pose, just like he did it the kitchen "I want you to be mine forever" he whispered on my ear.
Me too...
He put me back in the ground, and gave a kiss on my forehead, i turned and saw Sam, Paddy next to each other, looking at us exited, Harry was whith his camera, looking at us. I tuned back to Tom and saw him sat in one leg, with a little box in his had, tears started falling, happy tears ofc "Hi" he said with cute smile "I know that you are only 21 and I'm just 22, that we are really young for this, but i don't care, i don't care anymore... Y/N i have known your for 15 years, i have loved you for 10 years and we have being officially dating for 5 years, i guess that the 5 is our lucky number" i just laughed at him "Y/N, you are the most amazing person in this world, and i love you more than anything and anyone, i can't belive that I'm doing this... Y/N Y/LN would you make me the happiest man on earth with just a simple word"
Yes
"Would you marry me??" He said and all i did was fell on the floor and nod, i looked up at him and he was crying to "Hell yes!! Tom!!" I said and we just hugged "I love you idiot" i said and a little laugh came out of his mouth
Yes, Tom. Yes, no matter what
"I'm officially the happiest man alive" he said with his arms around me, looking at thd guys "Congrats" the 3 guys while running and we all hugged "I'm so proud of my big baby!" I hars Nikki said, Tom pointed to the house, Nikki and Dom where looking at us trough the window "Now you will be mine forever" he said and gave me kiss
I love this man so damm much

light school days and mourning
hi guys, this won't be that always chill post i usually do. in the past month i was actually feeling well. my grades are really okay, i hang out a lot with friends and even my and my moms relationship is okay.
today was actually very cool. during religion class we played a board game which was kinda fun (but since most questions were about the Bible, it took us long😭) during literature, we didn't have our teacher for some reason, so the music teacher came in and we watched Shrek 3 on my classmates netflix acc. during gym class we went down to the school gym (we actually have one, it's so cool) and worked out. during biology we wrote a test, and i cheated through the whole thing... well there was a task where i couldn't because its about genetics and i'm way too dumb for it, but i think it will be maybe a B or a C. during italian we were watching 'Who finds a friend finds a treasure' and i really liked it, and during science we watched 'Hidden Figures'. so this day was kind of cinema oriented.
also, i got a call before science from a delivery man (my dad works there, the delivery guy is his friend) saying that one of my packages was here. it was one of my shein packages so ofc i was really excited about it when i got home. but sadly i could only check my stuff out from the bags, because it was a christmas gift and i can only open them on christmas.
after that, my dad called me back. i called him earlier when i finished school, he said that i should text him when i arrived home and he'll call me back. so he did. we had a little chit chat, and after that he told me that the real purpose of him calling me back was something important. and it was that my great grandma had passed away. i ofc broke down while talking to my dad, but this sadly had to happen. she was really on rock bottom during these past 4-5 years. she was laying in bed all the time, my grandma fed her and diapered her. but during these last weeks, she didn't really eat, she couldn't swallow and she couldn't even drink. hopefully she's in a better place now, and my grandma is relieved as well.
i really feel guilty. during the last 3 years, i barely ever went in the room she was in. not because i hated her or anything, i simply didn't want to see her that way. that's why i never got to say a proper goodbye. i really hope, that in the place she is in rn she can forgive me for it.
i'm sorry. this post got really depressed towards the end, but this is just how it is. i'm mourning at the moment, and i broke two of my sober streaks. hopefully i'll get better around the weekend, since my friend is coming over on friday.
take care y'all, see you. <3

Part 10 Part 12
Part 11
The next few days were monotonous. Most mornings, I would go to the gym. Then I'd head off to work. After work, I'd take Perrin for a walk. We stopped at the dog park a few times to throw the ball. Then I'd go home and read or watch tv. After dinner, I would FaceTime Liam before falling asleep.
Although I missed him terribly, it had been good to have some space. I was able to think about us a bit. Liam was always great on the phone, a gentleman even. Yes, he flirted with me and made inappropriate comments, but they were always in context. I'd be lying if I said I didn't flirt with him back. But it was nice to get to know him better, and I decided I definitely liked him as a person and a lover. He was sweet, sincere, funny and warm, the same as he was when he was Will. He seemed to accept who I was. There were no digs at me, maybe some friendly ribbing, but it seemed he liked me too. We spent a lot of time laughing. We had a similar sense of humour.
He opened up about some of his past relationships, how he felt about them and what went wrong. A lot of the times, he admitted to fault, especially in the early ones. I talked a bit about Andy but kept a lot back. No doubt, he noticed.
Thursday afternoon changed everything.
Liam called me when I was driving home from work at about four-thirty. It broke with our routine. We usually spoke around nine o'clock. I answered the phone, and Liam's voice came through the speakers.
"Hello, Sweetheart. How was your day?"
I smiled at this now familiar greeting. "Really good, Liam. How was yours? Have you finished work already?"
"Yeah, good. I'm supposed to stay for another hour, but I wasn't needed, so I left." Liam paused and said, "Listen, Lana, I have to tell you something."
"Oh, no."
"Yesterday, a parent from your school saw the pictures of us." I went cold. I was 10 minutes from my house, but I pulled over. "She left a message on one of the pictures that you look like a teacher from her kid's school." Oh shit. "Anyway, this morning, you were on duty at the "kiss and drop", whatever that is."
Robotically I said, "it's where the parents drop the kids off at school without getting out of the car." I could see where this is as going.
"Right." He sounded strange but continued. "Well, they took a picture of you, put that side by side with the others. Long story short, Sarah was called to confirm your name."
"Oh, for fucks sake." I was pissed off. "What did she tell them?"
"She said she couldn't confirm or deny."
"In other words, yes, but my boss said, don't say anything."
"That's a bit unfair, Lana. She can't lie to them, or they won't bother calling her when they get a story. They will just run it because they can't trust what she says."
"Fuck this," I said and hung up on Liam.
I slammed my foot down on the accelerator and spun the tires. I had a Toyota Camry SX. It's sort of sporty, but it's not meant to be driven like that, but I was fuming. Liam rang again, but I ignored it. I backed off and slightly and rounded a corner, tires chirping as I went. I fumbled in my bag, driving one-handed until I found and lit a cigarette. As stupid as it was, I drove the rest of the way home like that.
When I got home, I quickly changed into my Draggin jeans, leather jacket and riding boots. I grabbed my helmet, gloves and went for a ride.
I loved being on the bike. Andy was the first guy I'd been with who rode. I remembered the first time he got me on the bike. He hadn't even let the clutch out, and I screamed and jumped off. The second time was better, and I went around the block before I got off. The third time, I was hooked. I loved holding onto his waist as we rode, my chest pressed against his back, my thighs touching his, my hands under his t-shirt. I loved the heavy thrumming of the bike, the wind whistling past. It was exciting, erotic, but also calming. Calming is what I needed.
I was so angry. Not at Liam or Sarah. Or even the bitch who outed me or the others who put my photo out there in the first place. I didn't know who I was angry with. Hollywood? Gossip? Social media? Myself? Maybe I was mad at myself. I deserved it. I'd turned my back on Andy, fucked another guy, and now I'm in a relationship with him, according to public record. Every time someone googles my name, his will come up.
The parents at school will give me looks, and I won't know what they are thinking. Will they be laughing at me? And if it didn't work out, everyone would know. I would have to go through a break up while everyone watched, picked at it, chose sides and commented.
I rode for about an hour up through the Blue Mountains. When I stopped for petrol at Wentworth Falls, my thoughts had settled, and I was thinking clearer. I stopped at a cafe, got a coffee and checked my phone. Liam had called twice more and sent a few messages. Riza had called and texted me.
I checked Riza's first. It was a link to an article, Liam Cross's Secret Aussie Lover. Her text simply said, "Jen just found this. Call me if you need me." I didn't click the link.
I checked Liam's. He said he wants to make sure I'm ok. Then he said he wants to come over and talk to me.
I called Liam. He seemed to answer before it even rang. "Sweetheart. Are you ok?" He sounded a bit frantic.
I took a deep breath. "I'm sorry I snapped at you."
"I knew you'd be upset."
"Upset is one thing. I snapped at you and blamed Sarah. You're right. It's not her fault."
"Lana, don't worry about that. Did you read the article?"
"No."
Liam was quiet a while. Then he said, "Are you ok now?"
"Yeah, I'm ok. I just needed some time to calm down." I let out a short laugh. "I am a redhead after all. I have a temper."
Liam laughed, "Do I have to be worried about being stabbed in my sleep?"
"Nah, being a redhead wouldn't make me do that. I get that part of me from being a Scorpio."
"I don't know whether to be scared or turned on right now."
I smirked, "Why not be both?"
Liam laughed and then got serious. "You sure you're ok? Do you want me to come over? I almost did get in my car when you wouldn't answer."
"Stalker," I teased.
"And that's why I didn't."
"I'm not at home anyway."
"Where are you?"
"I took off on the bike to clear my head. I'm in the mountains right now."
"The mountains?"
"Yeah, the Blue Mountains. Look west tomorrow, and you'll see them."
"I'll do that." Liam paused. "I'm really looking forward to seeing you tomorrow."
"I'm looking forward to seeing you too. Bye, Liam."
"Bye, Sweetheart."
I finished my coffee and rode home.
I texted Riza to let her know I was ok. I played with Perrin. I texted my brother to remind him to pick Perrin up tomorrow afternoon. I ate some dinner before packing my bag for tomorrow and went to bed. It was a long time before I finally fell into a restless sleep.
Liam Cross's Secret Aussie Lover
"Pictures of Liam Cross, 38, with an unknown female were circulating on social media earlier this week, and tongues were set wagging.
"Users were quick to put their detective hats on and tracked down Cross's new flame late yesterday. The woman was identified as Mrs Alana Walker, 30, Sydneysider, and special education teacher. Not much else is known about Mrs Walker other than she was widowed in 2017.  Her husband, Andrew Walker, and father Brian Kelly were killed in a horrific Boxing Day crash when his car was destroyed by a truck driver who had a medical incident behind the wheel.
"Sources close to Cross say that he has been elated the past couple of months, and now they know why. They hope for his sake that this relationship will not be plagued by scandal like his previous relationships.
"For now, Cross's camp is remaining tight-lipped on the situation. While they don't deny a relationship, they will not confirm it.
"Cross is currently in Sydney for an adaptation of the widely popular and romantic fantasy epic Beyond the Stones series by C. W. Taylor. He will co-star alongside Australian Myra Roberts with an expected release in the northern hemisphere winter of 2022."
I woke on Friday morning and laid in bed for a while. I should have gone to the gym, but I just couldn't get my body to move. I wanted to chuck a sickie, blow off the whole day, maybe go for a swim, or just watch movies all day. I had an urge to watch Kill Bill for some reason. But I couldn't do that to the kids.
I knew I was just trying to avoid the parents at school. I'm sure most of them know by now. Gossip runs rampant at the school gate. We've all seen Big Little Lies. Probably all the staff knew too. It was one of those days where I wish I could just press fast forward and get to the part where I see Liam again. I didn't want to miss out on that.
In the end, I got up, showered and got ready for work. I tamed my hair, put on my war paint and dressed in black work pants, ballet flats and a pink knitted cardigan.
I started to pack my bag for the weekend, trying to work out what outfits I needed. I had decided what I wanted to wear for dinner tonight, but I didn't know what to wear to bed. Would I even need anything to wear? I blushed at the thought. I packed a basic set of pyjamas. I added jeans and a couple of t-shirts, a hoodie and my Dr Martens. I put some pretty underwear in there too. I didn't have much, just a white lace set which Liam had already seen and two black lace sets. I packed them all.
My phone beeped, and I got a message from Liam. It was a picture of his face all sweaty from working out. He had his tongue sticking out. He had written, I was going to send you a picture of my cock but thought that was a bit vulgar. So I decided to send you a picture of another part of my body that's going to fuck you tonight. Can't wait x.
My whole body grew hot, my stomach filled with butterflies, and I giggled. I started to reply with 'cheeky bastard', but then I had an idea. I sent him a picture of my face with my mouth open in an O shape, and I rested a finger on the corner of my lower lip. I wrote, I was going to send you a picture of my pussy but thought it was a bit obvious. So I sent you a picture of another part of my body that's going to get fucked tonight. X
Within a minute, I got a reply of: Game on, Sweetheart.
Well, if Liam wants to play a game, I can play a game.
I pulled my pyjamas out of my bag and put in a satin shift, pretty much my only sexy bedclothes. I thought about what other sexy photos I could take and packed a few other things. Then I made my lunch and headed off to work.
I rang Riza on the way to work. She asked me about how I was feeling. I told her I was dealing with it, but I said no more about it. I asked Riza about how she and Jen were going, and she said we would meet up soon.
"I miss you," she said.
"Yeah, I miss you too. Talk soon, ok?"
"Yeah, have a good weekend slut! Tell Liam I said hi."
"Suck a dick Riz."
We hung up, and almost immediately, Dave calls.
He doesn't say hello or anything, just launches in with, "Are you dating Liam Cross?" Fuck. "One of Lucy's friends just sent her an article about you and him."
No use denying it then. "Yeah, I am. He's the one I'm spending the weekend with." I braced for his reply.
"Fuck me dead. My fucking little sister is rooting Liam fucking Cross." His voice didn't sound angry. He sounded impressed.
I rolled my eyes. "It's not a big deal. Just don't forget to get Perrin and don't tell Mum."
"Not a big deal? The kids will go crazy when they meet him."
"Dave, we are hardly at the point where we are meeting families."
"Yeah, alright, keep your shirt on."
"I'll come by Sunday arvo to pick Perrin up?"
"Wanna stay for dinner?"
"Yeah, ok. See you then."
I ended the call and got to work not long after that. I went straight to my classroom, trying to avoid everyone. There was one person I couldn't avoid, and that was Marla, my teacher's aide. She was in her late 50s, though, so I thought she would be pretty safe. She didn't mention anything all morning, which was a relief.
At lunchtime, I stayed in the classroom. I told Marla I had some work to do, so she left me alone. I checked my phone and found a message from Liam.
It was a picture of Liam drinking from a bottle of pineapple juice, and it said, Me hydrating for tonight x.
His innuendo made me chuckle, but I had planned for something like this. I took a selfie of myself with a banana in my mouth and sent it with the caption: Presumptive much? Me carbo-loading for tonight.
Liam replied a little later with, I can't decide if I'm winning because my pics are better or if I'm still winning because yours are better.
Marla came back into the classroom about halfway through lunch. She pottered around the room, trying to look busy. She kept looking over at me. I felt myself start to panic. She wasn't acting like that this morning. She must know now. They all must know. I started wondering what everyone was saying about me in the staff room. They had probably sent Marla back to the classroom to see what information they could get out of me. The panic receded, and anger filled the void.
Eventually, I lost my temper. "Have you got something to say, Marla?"
Marla had the good grace to look ashamed. "No. Nothing."
I crossed my arms. "What are they saying?"
Marla sighed, "honestly? They're mostly pretty stoked about it. Happy for you."
I let my arms fall. My vision went a bit blurry. "Really?"
Marla came over and leaned against the table, and rubbed my back. "Oh, Darl, yeah, most of us remember what it was like for you. We just want you to be happy."
I smiled at her, but the tears still came. Marla gave me a tissue. "Thanks, Marla." I sniffed, "ugh, the parents, though. I'm not looking forward to that."
Marla smiled and said, "don't worry about it, Darl. I'll fill in for ya this arvo, and you can do my Wednesday lunch duty. How's that?" I thanked her. Relieved, I hugged her and cleaned myself up.
When school had finished, I made a mad dash to the car park. I knew I was just putting off the inevitable. I'd have to show my face in front of the parents sooner or later, but I decided it was Monday's problem.
I checked my phone before I headed off to Liam's place. He had sent me a shirtless picture of himself with some rope curled up around his shoulder and written, One of my costumes has a rope. It made me think of you. I'm about to leave. See you soon.
Dammit, I couldn't think of a response to that one! I sat and thought about it for ages. I was not about to give in easily. Then it came to me. I got my water bottle and one of my spare undies from my overnight bag. I wet them a bit, put the underwear and water bottle on the bag and took a picture of them both. I wrote. My water bottle leaked in my bag, and my panties got wet. It made me think of you. I'm on my way.
The three circles came up within seconds, and Liam sent, You are in so much trouble, Sweetheart. Park around the back.
And because I can't control my tongue in real life or texts, I wrote back, That's what she said.
I didn't wait for a reply. I just put an audiobook on and drove.

Part 9 Part 11
Part 10
We eventually got up. We showered and dressed. I fed Perrin, and we ate breakfast. I asked Liam what his plans were for the day.
"Not much. I thought I would stay with you until you kick me out." He winked. "What are your plans?"
"Well, I have to kick this guy out..." I said with mock agitation. Liam feigned a look of hurt. "Not much until tonight. I'm going to Dave's house for dinner. I'll see my nephews and niece, which will be good. My Mum too, I suppose."
"Dave's your brother, right?" I nodded. "You haven't told me much about your mother. I think this is the first time you've mentioned her."
"We don't always get along. Mum's mellowed as she's gotten older, but she was a bit of a tyrant when I was growing up. She didn't like Andy. Well, she didn't like any of my boyfriends. She always judged them based on their jobs like she wanted me to end up with a doctor or lawyer or something like that. It's like she thought she'd wasted her money sending me to a private school because I found myself attracted to tradies."
"What's a tradie?
"A tradesman."
"Gotcha."
I laughed at a memory. "I used to tell my friends that if a guys hands weren't calloused enough to cause a run in my stockings, then he has no business touching my legs."
Liam burst out laughing. "Are you serious?"
"What can I say? I like a man who is good with his hands." I shrugged before continuing, "anyway, that's one reason why my mum and I didn't get along."
"What about your Dad?"
"He passed away three years ago."
"I'm sorry."
I didn't say anything for a while. I played with the crusts of my toast, breaking it into little crumbs. I think Liam sensed my mood and changed the subject. "You went to a private school?"
"Yeah," I said. "An all-girls, Catholic one at that."
"Well, that explains a lot." Liam quipped, his tone very serious, but his twitchy lip gave him away.
I narrowed my eyes and frowned. "I hate you."
Liam ignored me and cupped my face with his hands. "Kiss me." He ordered. And I did.
We spent most of the morning sitting together and talking. We spoke about the books we were reading. We found that we had similar taste in books when we talked before we met. Liam had recommended a book to me, and I had finished it a few days ago. I showed him my bookshelves, and we compared which ones we had read. He asked to borrow a couple.
Later we just sat on the lounge. We talked, held hands, cuddled, kissed, had coffee, and then some tea. We took turns patting Perrin, who had taken to Liam really well.
It got close to lunchtime, and it seemed like we were both trying to work out a way to avoid the inevitable parting. Neither of us had brought it up since breakfast. Eventually, Liam asked, "when can I see you again?"
Liam was sitting up, and I was laying on my back with my head in his lap. Liam was stroking my hair, sometimes taking a curl and twisting it around his finger. I smiled when I saw him do that since I had done the same to him earlier.
"As soon as possible," I replied. "I'm going to miss your pretty face." I reached up and patted his cheek patronisingly.
He gave me a small smile but didn't say anything. Then his god damned lip twitched.
"What are you thinking?" I asked. "I can tell when your lip twitches that you're thinking something naughty or you know something I don't know."
"My mother tells me the same thing." His lips stretched into a full grin, revealing his Hollywood white teeth.
"Well, I'm not your bloody mother, so tell me."
"I was just thinking about all the parts of you that I'm going to miss."
"You're very cheeky."
"Unfortunately for you, my mother tells me that too."
"You're a fuck knuckle," I said, smirking. "I'll bet your mother doesn't tell you that."
Liam's eyes went wide. "Bloody hell, Sweetheart. Anyone would think you didn't like me." He was smiling though.
"It's because I like you that I insult you. I'm very polite to people I don't like." I said, putting a sickly sweet smile on my face and batted my eyelashes at him.
"You're lucky you're cute." Liam leaned down and kissed me. "You haven't answered my question. When can I see you again?"
"Well, we both work all week. I guess that means we will have to wait until Friday night."
"Do you want to come to my place on Friday after work? Spend the weekend with me?"
"Ok. I'll ask Dave when I see him tonight if he will have Perrin for me. But it shouldn't be an issue."
Liam's face was unreadable for a moment. Then he smiled and kissed my forehead. "I'm already looking forward to it." He sat back and said, "well, I suppose I had better call an Uber."
I sat up and waited for Liam to book his ride. When he had finished, I said, "Call me tomorrow night. After work?"
Liam nodded. He scooped me up and sat me on his lap. "Don't worry, Sweetheart. You won't get rid of me easily." He smiled and caressed my cheek with the back of his fingers. "Now, kiss me."
I threw my hands around his neck and kissed him hard.
Liam kissed me back, his arms wrapped around my waist, and he crushed my body into his. Our kisses became ardent, and I squirmed on his lap. I didn't want to let him go. Not ever.
I wanted him again now, and I cursed myself for letting him call for an Uber. I felt like he was part of my life like I had already given let him into my heart when I let him in this house. This sacred place. Mine and Andy's place. It seemed as though he had just blended into my life and any thoughts of the future now included him.
But I also knew enough to hold back, to remember I didn't really know him. The weekend wasn't real life. It was an illusion. It wasn't the daily grind of work, come home, sleep, do it all again. To make it worse, Liam's life wasn't normal. Would I adjust? Could I adjust? Did I even want to try?
I knew I did want to try, at least. Liam seemed worth it. Worth the risk of another broken heart, another love snatched from my grasp. If I didn't try with Liam, then who would I try with? And if I never tried, then love would be gone from my life forever.
Liam pulled away. "I had better go now, or I think I'll never leave." We got up just as his phone alerted him the driver was less than a minute away. He grabbed his bag, and I walked him to the door, and he followed behind me up the hallway.
We got to the door, and before I could open it, he turned me around and pinned me to it with his whole body. His forehead pushed against mine. He kissed me, forcing his tongue into my mouth. He ground his body against me. "Lana," he breathed. "Lana, I..." He stopped talking, kissed me again softly then pulled away.
I didn't know what to say. I didn't want Liam to stop. "I'll call you tonight," I said despite our plans to call tomorrow night. I knew I wouldn't be able to wait until then. I opened the door for him.
As he walked out the door, Liam put his hand on the back of my head. He brought me to his face, and he kissed the top of my head. "As you wish." He winked and pulled the door closed behind him.
The rest of my day felt lonely. I moped around for a bit. I threw Perrin the ball for a while. He was too old these days for more than a few runs, but he still loved it. I did some washing, cleaned my bathroom and put my Ben and Jerry's tub in the bin. I painted my nails.
When the afternoon wound down, I called Riza.
"Hey, Slut!" She said when she picked up.
"Piss off," I said back.
"Well, don't keep me in suspense. What the fuck happened?"
"I don't even know where to begin."
"Well, did you fuck him?" I shook my head. If Liam thought I was direct, he should talk to Riza. I didn't say anything. She knew me well enough to know what the answer was by my silence. "'Bout fucking time." She said, and I laughed. "So tell me about him. What's his name? What does he do for work? Where does he live? Boxers or briefs?"
"Uh, his name is Liam. Liam Cross."
"Like the actor? Man, that's weird. I knew a girl once whose name was Indiana Jones. I couldn't do it cause I kept thinking about Harrison Ford."
"No, Riz. Not like the actor, he is the actor."
Stunned silence. Then, "you're shitting me."
"Serious as a heart attack."
"Why didn't you tell me before?"
"I didn't know who he was," I told Riza about the Will/Liam thing.
"You're really not joking. Send me a pic."
"I didn't take any."
I swear I could hear Riza roll her eyes. "Of course, you didn't. You never do!" Then she shouted, "Hey Jen! Lana..."
"Riza! No, no, no!" I shouted.
"Fucked Liam Cross," she finished.
I hung my head. Fuck. I could trust Riza, but Jen, I wasn't sure of. She spent all day on Instagram and Snapchat. I didn't know if she could keep quiet.
"You there, Lansey?" I heard Jen talking in the background. "Hang on a sec, what's that, babe?" More Jen talking. "Oh shit, you looked good on Friday night Lans, no wonder you got fucked."
"How do you know what I wore Friday night?"
"Jen found pics."
"That quickly?"
"Yeah, they're everywhere. Some of you guys at a shop too. Hey, that's the shop near Mike the Butcher, right?"
This was news to me. I knew they took pictures, but I didn't think they were posted. I should have though. Why wouldn't they be? "Fuck."
"Did you just meet him? On Friday?"
"Yeah, why?"
"There's this one picture of you two, and he's touching your cheek. You two look like you're in love," she teased, making love sound like llllooooouuuuv. "Ha! There's Perrin!"
"Is my name mentioned? Do they know who I am?"
"Doesn't look like it. You two look perfect together."
"Tell Jen not to say anything. Please?"
"Yeah, yeah, no worries."
She kept talking, but I'd had enough. "I've gotta get going," I said.
"Lans, you ok?" She knows me too bloody well.
"Yeah," I bit my lip and took some deep breaths. "It's a lot to take in, you know. He's bloody famous, it's like, I don't want that shit in my life."
"Is he worth it?"
"I think so. I mean, he's a sweet, kinda daggy guy who happens to be built like Hercules and sexy as fuck. What's not to like?"
"I always thought he was gay."
Before I could stop myself, I said, "He's definitely not gay. I'd never believe a gay guy could growl a girl out like he does." I've got to learn to keep my mouth shut.
Riza yelled, "yas girl! You got a keeper!"
I laughed. "Fucking hell. Alright, Riz, I've really got to go. Say hi to Jen. Don't say anything!" Riz agreed, and we hung up.
Dinner at Dave and Lucy's was mostly uneventful. I jumped with the kids on the trampoline and played some wrestling on the PlayStation. My mum wasn't too much of a bitch. I forgot about the pictures and didn't think about Liam for a while. I needed that. I felt like the weekend was such a whirlwind and so much happened I needed some time to get back to normality, something familiar.
After dinner, Mum went home, and the kids wanted to watch a movie. I got on the lounge with the two older ones, Charlie and Harry and went through Netflix. Lucy had taken Lilly to bed. I saw Liam's face in one of the movies thumbnails, and I groaned. It was the one where he was a superhero. It was nearly ten years old. Though it didn't seem possible, he was even more handsome now. I quickly flicked past it.
"No, Aunty Lanny, I want to watch that one," Harry said.
"Isn't it too scary?"
Dave called out from the kitchen, "it's their new favourite. They've been watching it all week."
"Then we can watch something else," I said.
Both boys protested. I half relented. "Have you seen the sequel?" It had much less screen time for Liam since he had teamed up with a couple of other superheroes in that one.
"There's a sequel?" Charlie was excited.
So we watched the sequel. I'd seen it before, but it was weird watching it now. I actually enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Although it was obvious that Liam was the actor, it was surprisingly easy to forget him and believe he was really the character.
He looked different to the Liam I knew. His hair was lighter, he was clean-shaven, and even the way he held his face was different. The way he moved and mannerisms weren't Liam's either. His voice was different too. The most apparent change there was the accent. Those harsh American tones seemed so strange after hearing his soft Queens English ones. Although, scenes with his shirt off still made me think of Liam.
After the movie I said goodbye to the kids, and they went to bed. I asked Dave if he would watch Perrin next weekend. I tried to sound casual about it, but Dave knew me better than that.
"Girls weekend?" He asked. I tried to say yeah, but I blushed, and he knew it wasn't a girls weekend.
Dave was eight years older than me, the same as Liam. I adored Dave. I remember following him around as a kid, wanting to do everything he did. As we got older, I watched the same movies he did, read the same books he did and listened to the same music, which is probably why I prefer 90s music to 2000s music.
He was sweet about it for the most part. He even got me alcohol a few times when I was 17 and took me to the pub with his mates when I was 18. He was protective though. Not one of his mates was allowed to touch me. It had made me mad at the time, especially when I had the hots for his best mate Chris since I was 12. So when he worked out that I was probably going to be spending the weekend with a guy, I expected him to freak out. He didn't.
"Is he a good bloke?" Dave asked. "Treating you well?"
"Yeah, he is." I couldn't help but smile.
Dave grunted, "I can tell by the look on your face, you are smitten. Alright then, Perrin can stay."
"Thanks, Dave. Don't tell mum."
"Yeah, Nah. I'm not stupid."
I went home and got ready for bed straight away. I was mentally exhausted, but I still called Liam. Not only because I said I would. I did miss him in my bed already. I felt lonely again. Of all the things about being married I missed, sleeping with somebody else in the bed was high on the list.
When I went to call, I was confused for a minute because I couldn't find his number. Then I remembered he was in my contacts as Will. I changed the name and called him. I hoped I wasn't calling too late.
"Hello, Sweetheart." Liam's voice sent a ripple of excitement through me.
"Hey," I said. "How was the rest of your day?"
"Good. Do you want to FaceTime?"
"I'm in bed."
"Me too." He said, and I heard the ring of FaceTime come through the phone.
I answered. Liam's face appeared. So did his naked shoulders. Sweet Jesus, he couldn't fit in the frame.
"Much better," he said, smiling. "How was your day?"
"Ok, I just hung around at home then saw the fam. Dave said he would have Perrin next weekend," I got flustered thinking about it. I cleared my throat. "So yeah, that's sorted."
"Excellent. I'm really looking forward to it. How was the family? Was your mum ok?"
"Yeah, she was good. The kids are fans of yours, by the way."
He gave a short laugh at this. "Really? Did you tell your family about me?"
I said I didn't and told him about the kids and the movie. "They loved it. I liked it too." I told him about how it was strange to watch him act after actually knowing him, and for a lot of the time, I had forgotten it was him. I just believed the character and enjoyed the story.
"Thank you." Liam seemed genuinely pleased. "That is the aim of what I do."
"I did tell Riza about you. Her wife, Jen, found pictures of us almost immediately."
"Did you see the ones from yesterday?"
"She told me about them, but I've not seen them."
"You ok?"
I shrugged, "it is what it is. I asked them not to say anything about us."
Liam changed the subject and showed me he had started one of the books he had borrowed. Once again, I was grateful that he seemed to know my mood and not push me.
We talked for about ten minutes before I started yawning.
"I better let you go. You're tired, Sweetheart."
"Yeah," I said as a yawn overtook me. "I think you're right." I blinked several times, my eyes watering from the yawns. "Call me tomorrow night?"
"I definitely will. Goodnight, Sweetheart."
"Night, Liam." I fell straight asleep.
