There’s some people on Twitter saying that if Eddie were to have a queer storyline he’d necessarily have to come out as bisexual because otherwise it would be like – and I quote – shitting on Shannon and Chris, and I just wanted to come in here to say that that makes absolutely no fucking sense. I don’t think anyone here has ever doubted the love Eddie has for Shannon, even after her passing. Particularly after 7x05, with the context of the now canon catholic guilt, Eddie being gay (not that I think he’d label himself anyway) would complete a puzzle for him. This man was brought up in a catholic home, with catholic teachings, and I can tell you from experience that most of those schools intervene in every aspect of your life and not just your studies. He has said it himself that the reason he married her was because she was pregnant, which again, is a very common catholic view of life – and I’m not speaking deprecatingly – but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t love her, or his son. Eddie loved Shannon, he would’ve given her life for her, and I also know he never used her as a beard, nor has he done that with Ana or Marisol. He’s never used any of the women in his life, and in fact, he actually broke up with Ana the second he realized his heart wasn’t in it. Eddie Diaz is a good man who’s had to unconsciously and subconsciously hide parts of himself, and even though all we can do is speculate about his sexuality, his coming out as gay would not destroy his family, it would actually only strengthen it, considering he’d be more comfortable being who he is, regardless of who he’s with.

Do you know or think any of the past Halloween events will rerun? Like “Terror is Trending” or “Spectral Soirée”? Cause I wanna know the plots of those and maybe play through them since I joined the game late, but I’m not sure if they’ll rerun at this point

I HOPE so, the second Halloween event is still probably my favorite! (it's just. peak non-main Twst content. everyone is so ridiculous and it's so delightful.) the way they've been doing it though has been to rerun the previous year's Halloween event and then the new one, so Eng probably won't be getting those first two events again anytime soon. :( if you're okay with just watching them for the story, your best bet is probably to look up a playthrough of them on YouTube. just make sure it has the ending rhythmics, they both had super cute ones!

Eng sometimes does things differently than JP though, and I think there's been a bit of an influx of new players to both versions lately? so one or both might decide to do a big rerun at some other point in the year! or they might just start rotating Halloween events or something now that they have four of 'em. :U I admit, I do kinda hope that they rerun just so I can try to get that ONE Scary Monsters card I'm missing...please Twst...I just need one more...

I've been reading the Percy Jackson books for the first time over the past two weeks! Just finished "The Battle of the Labyrinth" last night (which btw is my favorite of the series so far!!)

This man is so depressed and has been for so long that it’s just become part of who he is, every aspect of his life is affected, every decision he makes is informed by it, and he’s been living with it so long he thinks it’s just an aspect of his personality.

But Ted never stops reaching out, Keeley helps where she can (and no I won’t forgive her for complaining about her boyfriend’s depression to her friends and not talking to him) even Beard and Trent and Higgens help.

Isaac is a friend and the rest of the team both love and support Roy, he has his sister and Phoebe.

But I think it’s Jamie’s dogged persistence that gets him over the hump.

Jamie absolutely pisses Roy off, but he makes him “feel” something. Which, if you aren’t persistently depressed you’ll never be able to understand what that’s like, and why Roy will do anything to keep Jamie’s attention.

Their weird obsession with each other that makes them both better? I’ll never get over it, and I’ll never not be grateful that this show put a chronically depressed character on my screen and never once mocked him for it.
