Ok I JUST finished persona 5 so here's all my thoughts and ramblings because I NEED to put this somewhere (none of my friends have played the game and I'm going insane) (I also currently don't have any persona 5 moots so you know......)

Major spoilers (obviously)

I despise Kamoshida. They did a REALLY fucking good job of making him hateable. Like for me personally, all the other palace-owners aren't nearly as detestable as Kamoshida is. I feel like it's because we see Kamoshida's actions directly hurting people in a way that no other palace-owner is shown, if that makes sense. Like Madarame's actions do hurt Yusuke very directly but it's just not the same vibes. I really absolutely hate Kamoshida and I'm glad he got justice.

I love the original group of four. I do like all the characters that come after them and join the group, but those four have a special place in my heart. They're iconic.

I love Ann's story during the first palace and I feel terrible for her BUT it grosses me out how the creators continue to sexualize her (and other female characters) for laughs throughout the game. Like why the fuck did they think any of those scenes were they have to wear extremely minimal clothing was necessary. It's so fucking weird. You can't just write a character who's plot point is that she's forced into uncomfortable sexual situations, and then force her into uncomfortable sexual situations for a joke. It's not only not funny, it's fucking disgusting.

Speaking of which, can Ryuji and Morgana stop making weird comments or suggesting weird ideas? I get it's supposed to be funny, but it's just uncomfortable.

Yusuke is the gayest man I've ever seen good god.

I want to date men in the game, Atlus, come on. Stop being homophobic, let me date a man. Let me date Ryuji please

I love Futuba. She's like my younger sister and I would kill for her. Which made me really fucking grossed out when the romance started happening. Like what the fuck was that huh. I'm sorry, you can't just have Ren (I think that's he's name) and Futuba have a siblings relationship like the entire game (not to mention their basically step-siblings), and then all of a sudden turn it romantic.

Speaking of which, it's kinda weird that you can date your teacher and doctor (and the other adults). Like not shaming anyone for picking those options cause the doctors hot as hell, but why would a teacher think it's ok to date their student or a doctor date their underage client. There's nothing wrong with choosing them to date, especially if you (the player) are an adult, but it's still weird that like four different adult women want to date you.

I've seen this said before, but the middle palaces are kinda boring. The story pacing falls off after Madarame's palace. Again, I love Futuba, but Kaneshiro's, Futuba's, and Okumura's palaces feel like there's much less at stake, especially Kaneshiro's. Not that I disliked the game at those points, but compared to the rest of the game, it's not as exciting.

The Nijima palace was my favorite. Oh my god, it was so interesting and well developed. The music was also FIRE. I liked going around and collecting chips to continue on to the next level, and I liked seeing a shadow that wasn't directly hostile towards the group. It was such an interesting concept. I also just love Sae as a character, I like that she's not directly evil and she has good intentions, she just got kinda lost at some point. I think that's a nice change of pace from the other palaces.

Ren and Akechi have the most romantic tension in the entire series. Like kiss already, jesus fucking christ.

I like all the phantom thieves except Haru. She feels so out of place. This isn't like an attack on her character or anything, but the issues with her Okumura Foods stock or whatever it was felt so... weird. Like I get she's in a tough situation, but she's also like a millionaire, so no matter what she decides, she would be set for life probably. I don't know, it just feels wrong to me

I cried when Akechi died :( I know he's technically a bad guy but come on. He deserved better. I want to bring him back from the dead and give him a hug. Have him and the other phantom thieves live a happy life being besties or whatever.

The ending felt weird. It was so much monologuing. I don't even know exactly what I didn't like about the ending, I just didn't like it. I also didn't play royal, I just played the original, so that might have changed it. I know that apparently I was supposed to talk to the wardens throughout the game and I just... didn't. Oops.

This is such a small thing but I hated the music for Shido's palace. It made me go insane and not in a good way.

I cried when I thought Ryuji died. And then I got mad when the cast beat him up for some reason???? Literally why did they do that????

I realized I didn't talk about Makoto at all but I love her. She's amazing. She can do no wrong idc

Ok final thoughts: I actually really liked the game. It's far from a perfect game but I generally enjoyed it. I'm glad I sat down and played it (for 100 fucking hours). Anyway, this is all just my opinions, I'm not bothered or anything if you don't agree with something I said. If you want to leave a comment either agreeing or disagreeing, I'd appreciate it as long as you're not a dick about it

Hello! This is very sweet, thank you UuU Ryuji is definitely one of my favorites (although there are only a few of the main p5 cast who don't make that list)... I think he is such a good right-hand man for Ren. I really love "bro" character types and he fits that niche perfectly while also being so genuine and kind and silly like a high schooler should be. I think his confidant story is very well-done too, I wish we'd gotten to learn a little more about his relationship with his mother, makes me super happy

To follow up on my comment about Fftsr + pq2

would futaba go behind everyone’s back to form her own “revenge squad” alongside ryuji and makoto, maybe including Ken, who would definitely sympathize with her

what if sumi and haru pop out of one of the labyrinths with kotone in tow, and now futaba’s revenge squad have blocked off the door to that screening room, and now Fuuka and Ann are trying to talk everyone down

oh ho ho I love fucking around with pq2 au's- there's just so much potential for fuckery! (and judgement from the other persona teams HA)

(this is also a good opportunity to analyse everyone's behaviour in the latest chapters of fftsr lmao)

Hm... Ken is an interesting one, since I think Akechi has a lot of similarities with both Shinjiro AND Ken, and I think they'd both recognise that. Additionally, it's not an exact 1-to-1 situation, so I think that if Futaba stayed in a state of "FUCK THIS" long enough to try and get revenge, I think a solid chunk of the p3 squad would want to stay solidly out of it (or, damage control- I think you're right that Fuuka would be with Ann on this one)

Ultimately, though, Futaba in the most recent chapters of fftsr is being impulsive. She's angry, hurt, and most of all: confused. She doesn't have the full situation. She made an irrational and impulsive descision in the midst of her panic, and the rest of the thieves are either feeling too betrayed (Ryuji, Makoto), or too panicked/confused (Yusuke, Morgana, Ann) to not enable her. Point is, that getting q2'd is a GREAT opportunity for Futaba to calm down lmao. In saying that, though, I think that "calming down" is more synonomous to "crashing", in this case. Even if Futaba gets her answers, she isn't going to be happy about them. I think Taba in this pq2 scenario wouldn't be a super effective Navi for a while

As for Sumi and Haru- I think that once everyone gets forcibly thrown together, the misunderstanding would clear up pretty quick. In saying that, though, that just brings on a whole lot of OTHER questions- main one being "time travel???" second one being "Why are you buddies with an assassin, again?"

Oh ho ho the wildcards...

Ren! is fucked! HA- getting q2'd directly after chapter 45 would really just leave him disoriented to hell and back, and it would probably take some time to convince him that what's happening is actually real. I also doubt he'd be in an emotional state to lead... anything. So that's a solid 7-ish persona users without anyone to direct them.

Akechi! :D he's also fucked! HA yeah Sumi and Haru aren't getting any direction outta that one- so that brings our "unattended persona user" count up to 10

So Minato, Yu, and Kotone need to pick up the slack. great! I actually think that Kotone in this situation is best choice for "full group leader". Why? Well, I don't know when exactly the p4 squad gets q2'd, but it definitely takes a while for the "moral greyness of it all" to actually sink into the plot for them- so when confronted with the shitshow that is the p5 squad at the moment, I think Yu would be at a loss.

p3, on the other hand, is very used to morality soup! In saying that, Minato is on that whole "2000's emo boy" bullshit, and doesn't have the assertive force to get everyone under control- considering it's pre-October-4. Kotone meanwhile, though still in "pre-October-4" land, definitely has more of that "Aight! Shut up! Everyone get your shit together!" energy, that the p5 squad would really benefit from HA (and, enough compassion to balance both sides of the equation)

I think at first, everything would be a shitshow of pointing fingers though LMAO

Sorry for the very long answer... I have a lot of thoughts, and I didn't even cover half of them LMAO. I pity the pq2 writers

allen -> 1-2 is okay with him. the gender doesn't really matter to him either

anne -> they don't mind having the chat when the time comes. they're not directly opposed to children.

hajun -> hmm.. i'd say 1. he has no preference for gender but if you wanted no kids, he'd be just fine with that too.

saimon -> 2. a boy and a girl. i can sooo see saimon being a girl dad!! if you want more kids, he's not opposed to it either!

yohei -> 1. preferred to be a girl. overprotective dad yohei♡♡

shiki -> he's still undecided about children. he can't decide if he'd want any yet but he thinks he might enjoy having 1.

ryu -> 2! a girl and a boy preferably, loves it even more if they're twins. it's more of a conclusion he comes to when you both have the talk about kids though.

kanata -> as said before, girl dad kanata!! 1 is fine but he wouldn't mind 2

nayuta -> he doesn't seem like the type to want kids at all. you might be able to convince him of 1 but that's the most you'll get.

iori -> he's a family guy but he's not one to push it. he'll agree to as many kids as you're willing to.

zen -> a boy & a girl. i can so see him being a girl dad but also the sporty boy dad who takes his son out to play sports and stuff.

hokusai -> he's good with cat babies. those will be your children

satsuki -> absolutely explodes when you mention kids... he says he's undecided but he wants at least 1 kid, whatever gender it ends up being.

reo -> 1 girl! she's gotta be as cute as him, ofc!

chisei -> hard maybe. it's not actively on his mind but if you bring it up, he's not against one.

haruomi -> same with him. hard maybe. he's okay with one if you ask him about having kids.

shogo -> he takes a lot of time to think about it honestly. an idol having a kid? hopefully it doesn't bring too much attention to the kid... either way, i think he'd prefer just 1!

toma -> something about him just is a no for me. i don't think he'd want kids but if you keep nagging him about it, he'll yield one day.

aoi -> probably a no. they're just not really into the idea of having a child.

kantaro -> maybe. he hasn't really thought about it so he has no opinion yet.

chungsung -> literally as many as you want... he'll fulfill your request for children if that's what you wanted

kei -> all of 1nm8 is tricky.. maybe just one.

itsuki -> none. not really open to discussion about it either, he doesn't want any

rokuta -> open to discussion, doesn't mind having kids if you wanted to.

yuto -> yep! it doesn't matter to him but he'd like to keep it at 2 if possible.

ryoga -> very iffy on it, he probably will say no kids because he's a little on edge about the whole idea.

shion -> no, this man is for the streets... and i also don't think he'd want any kids in general. they're just not something he wants to have around..

P5 Until Dawn AU

"O Death, O Death... Won't you spare me over 'til another year?"

Inspiration struck upon remembering this gem of a game (took me a bit to save EVERYONE though!!)! Before I start, some notes to keep in mind:

*Character personalities are primarily determined by player choices in the game generally so as a result the P5 Cast will STAY as their respective canon characterizations.

**Given that you can have the whole main cast survive, this will be based on a no-death run except for characters that do die no matter your choices (Ex: Beth, Flamethrower Guy)

***Some story beats will be changed to better accommodate the characters and their personalities... That and small canon complaints (Josh deserved better... Forever bitter about that)

****I couldn’t figure out a role for Sophia now matter how hard I tried so her being a little sibling to Ren it is!

Dr. Hill- Dr. Maruki (Starts out patient and empathetic but then grows more unhinged and assertive as the story progresses)

Other Plot Info:

+Zenkichi was hired by the Yoshizawas to investigate the disappearance of the twins on the side along with chaperoning due to his occupation and being a family friend (he was passed out drunk with Akechi at the time of the incident and wants to make up for his mistake). He decides to bring Akane with him in an attempt to bond with her before she enters High School (Aoi is still dead).

+Potential Pairings- PegoRyu and YuMako

Full Plotline still a W.I.P. but so far:

-Akechi was an orphan who was adopted by the Yoshizawas, he immediately grew attached and protective of his new sisters (which naturally becomes warped due to grief)

-Sumire develops a crush on Ren when she gets introduced to the group, he sadly doesn’t return them and sees her as a close friend. Like Hannah, she gets a tattoo of a butterfly at one point.

-As previously mentioned, Zenkichi is a family friend and would often join their getaways with Aoi and Akane until the former’s passing and the latter growing distant from him. After that he mostly chaperones.

Prologue- One Year Ago

-The context for this particular getaway is celebrating Haru, Akechi, and Makoto graduating High School with the others entering either their 2nd or 3rd years.

-The prank is given slightly different context but still not good at all. It’s not out of any pettiness or spite but they thought it would be “funny” somehow (they quickly learn that it really wasn’t and are quick to feel ashamed).

-Ren actually starts to have second thoughts about it and was going to try to stop Sumire but the others give themselves away before he could. Sumire naturally feels upset and betrayed as she impulsively runs off.

-Kasumi meanwhile, catches wind of something being up and briefly sees Sumire run by through a window. She tries to wake a passed out Akechi and Zenkichi but fails, prompting her to investigate.

-The others head out the door, calling after her in concern. Kasumi questions them and when they admit what they did, she gets furious with them and goes to find her sister (they briefly consider going after both of them but feel like that they were the last people they’d want to see (Sumire especially))

-Fast forward to Kasumi finding Sumire, they hear a loud noise and run for it. They get cornered at the end of a cliff and slip, Kasumi being able to grab a branch and catch Sumire.

-A strange person looks down at them, appearing to reach for them. Kasumi panics and lets go, both girls falling into the cave below.

One year later and the real story starts:

Dr. Maruki: So, you have committed to commence with this 'game'. This is significant. And I want to help you see it through. Sometimes... Sometimes these things can be a little scary... Even terrifying... But I am here to make sure that no matter how upsetting things may get, you'll always find a way to work through it.

We don't use the murder mystery plot, but we keep the whole shadow thing.

First photo is an explanation of shadow selves as a whole and then 2nd is their use in p4.

I haven't quite cooked it through yet but imagine Miguel having to fight his inner demons in a big ass boss battle. There's always a lot of symbolism in it, and I think Miguel's would have a cage aspect like Yukiko did due to isolation being his main go-to for self harm.

Side note I'm sorry about Teddie's dialogue. If it provides any relief, the fandom bullies him constantly.

Hobie - Ryuji Sakamoto/Skull (Not a lot of connection but both rebel against social norms.)

Margo - Futaba Sakura/Oracle (DUUUUUUUDE THIS FITS IN BOTH FAMILIAL ISSUES AND TECH SMARTS) (alternatively, Peni works as well and she has the Dead Mom trauma too.) (I am not normal about Futaba I get genuinely angry about her storyline.)

Miguel - SOJIRO SAKURA!!! Mature, quiet, a hard-ass but genuinely very kind and loving beneath it all.

Spot - I fuckinG WISH I COULD SAY WHICH CHARACTER BUT IT SPOILS >:( just know he has a very clear character in this.

Ben Reilly - Yusuke Kitagawa (Dramatic af /pos) (Alternatively, Peter B. due to the brokeness of both.)

Aunt May - Munehisa Iwai or Tae Takemi (both help the protagonist in supplies)

As promised, here's Kasumi. She is a gymnast with deep seated family and identity issues that don't get explored until what is technically the "post game". She is worth the wait.

I’ve heard of persona but I’ve never played it or seen any gameplay (until now with the link u sent lolol) and honestly this fits so well!! There was a whole part in spiderman 2 about miles confronting mister negative and fighting him to try and escape kraven, and mister negative sends him to this alternate dimension and sends these shadows to fight him which represent his inner demons while his loved ones (or what sounds like them) call him not good enough and a mistake, and Miles’s biggest fear is for his loved ones to hate him and for him to disappoint them. This fits in extremely well for him especially now with that in mind. Also Miguel having to fight his inner demons is a huge boss battle is something I WANNA SEE!!!

A/N: This was an idea from myself. I just love Akira/ Ren and he ist just argh. All talk parts are coloured as follows: Akira, Ryuji, you, you brother, your persona. Others are white Now let's start

It was simpl, really. You knew that your boyfriend Akira was involved with the Phantomthieves ever sense the Kamushida incident. However you didn't though that he wer they're leader. Unaware to him, you hade followd him and his team in EVERY single Castle and fought your way through the shadows behind them. NONE of them notice't. Not even Akechi. But then they got in to the Castle of your Brother. And that's were you drew the line.

"How dear you!? I WILL DO AS I WISH!!!"

You brother screamed at Joker, Holding hin in the black Tentacle that came from the back of his torso (like kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul!). He squeezed Your Boyfriend so hard that he started coughing blood.

"joker!"

Skull's voice echoed through the big room they were in. All of the other thieves trapped in a cage. You saw it all. How your partner was so close to dieing. Everything rushed back. All the trauma that you hade to experience! A flashback rolled Infront of your eyes:

You looked up to your mother who was in Rage about what you just hade done. All the progress she made was gone and you caused it. She grabt you by the neck, holding you, as you started to suffocate. Your throat sore and you body unable to move.

You feeld a pain in your chest. Seeing this happing to Akira too made you incredibly angry. So you just wend for it!

"Oi!!! Lett him go Nee-san!!!"

With one leg in a rock you stood there. All eyes on you.

"Y/N?"

Your boyfriend's voice was quite and broken. You jumpt from the statue you were standing on, in you hand a pistol. Said pistol was now pointed at your Older brother.

"Why? Why should I Y/N!?"

Y/B/N shouted. You smiled softly.

"because the boy you are currently suffocating if my fucking Partner"

And with that you Shot you brother in the tentacles, causing him to drop Akira. You made sure that Akira was safe and ready to figth before you lett your guard down. Your Brother looked at you. Then he started screaming again:

"if it wasn't for you Mom and dad would never be in jail rigth now!!! And Grandma would also be alive. I hate you so much!!!!"

You looked him directly in the eye's. His face looked like the one of a zombie. Patches of skinn weren't even there, wich mend you could see muscle and bones. But you still looked at him with confidence:

"I am done listening to you going on and on and on about me being the problem. You are just spoilt rotten! And I will no longer bow to you!!!"

Suddenly you heard a voice. A male, calming voice.

"you hade me waiting quiet a while Y/N. Will you continue take the blame? Or will you make your own path?"

A sharp pain flue through your body. You started to Shake. But you didn't give in to the pain.

"I am not going to fool myself any longer! I am done!!!"

"well then. Let's form a pact shall we. I am thou, thou art I! Call you my name! Let everyone hear your Roar of revange!"

You mask appeared on you face. It looked like Akira's just in black withe a red base.

"now way! Y/N too?"

Morgana yelled. But you paid no minde.

"I hear you..... Come to me....."

Your ripped the mask of your face. Blood everywhere.

"Karma!!!!!"

The blood truning to blue fine as you finally activated you full potential. You're persona Standing behind you. A men in shackles and chains. The red outfit reviling much of his none existent Body. Your on the other hand got some real glow up. Your Withe hier was in a high ponytail, the ends now pure black. But you outfit spoke for itself.

And your weapon? A very,VERY large fan (just like Temari from Naruto) with your secondary weapons being a gun. You smiled and clutched your Hands into a fist. Then you took you Fan and got ready to Atack your brother.

"you are beautiful darling"

Akira was right next to you, ready to end this once and for all! And so you did.

"so this is the backslash? Dean it not only Hurts but I am tired as heck."

Your were Laying in Akira's bed after returning from the Metarverse. Everything hurt and you couldn't really stay awake. Awakening your rebel self had taken a good tal on you. But you didn't mind. Afterall you are in Akira's arms rigth now. Its just you 2. The others were already gone and Morgana out for a walk.

"are you okey?"

Akira's voice was soft but you could see that he was worried.

"I think I should ask you that. Y/B/N nearly crushed you."

Akira Smile's at your comment.

"I'm fine. Now go to sleep"

And that's exactly what you did.

I love being so passonate about a thing that you can't actually work on it.

for the past four months I have been plotting out a sort of New game+ Ryuji protag AU where after Shido's palace explodes, he gets rocketed into an alternate universe where he was the one who got sent to live with Sojiro, and its also a decent bit of role swap AU with a different set of villains in some spots, Shy and timid Ren as the best friend character whom Ryuji helps break out of his shell, Artist Ann, Model Yusuke, there's more but thats for later, but due to needing to write any of Shido's palace, I haven't gotten anything written yet.

While on the Metaverse, Annie is known as Harper is the team’s mistress of disguise. She is very theatrical and enjoys making a huge spectacle out of her battles. Even if having a lyre for a weapon may sound dumb and unconventional, she has made the most of her situation by using it with a lot of out of the box thinking, or just simply whacking a Shadow on the face with it

Rin enjoys training in their Home Gym to better perfect her fighting skills and she is almost always found sporting earbuds so she can listen to her favorite punk rock and metal bands.

Regarding the rest of her family however, the sister whom she gets along the best is definitely Junko as they’re pretty similar and they almost consider themselves as twins given how close their date births are to each other with Junko just being a month or two older than her

While the sister whom Rin has the most trouble getting along with is Satomi due to her general disregard for the rules, something that the slightly older girl lives for

Besides her biological mother, she gets along the best with both Kasumi and Sadayo, the former because of their shared interest for working out and they often share the Home Gym in different occasions, and the latter because she can learn a lot from her

However, Rin’s relationship with Chihaya isn’t the best as she doesn’t really believe in superstition like she does

While in the Metaverse, she is known as Princess because in her words, her mother is the Queen, so that makes her a Princess and has the role of the team’s muscle/tank with her brute physical strength that somehow the Metaverse has amplified. She could’ve easily been the team’s leader too, but that role has already gone for someone else

Out of all the Jokerettes, she is the most like her biological mother, who at this point in time is a very popular and successful Twitch streamer and gamer with a whole lot of sponsors

Regarding family, there’s no sister who Mari gets along better or worse as she loves them all in equal amounts and they make sure to always show her how much they all love her back, same thing with her dad’s many wives

While in the Metaverse, she’s known as Glitch and is the team’s navigator. Her Rebel’s Garb has special rocket boots so she can quickly fly to anyone in battle who needs assistance. Her boots have a button on the heel to activate them, and she likes to click her heels together to turn them on much like Dorothy on her favorite story from her childhood. Though she never complains about her job, she sometimes worries about her ability to navigate and support the team and sometimes wonders if she’s doing a good job and sometimes worries of what if she’s late the next time something awful happens and she’s not fast enough to save her sisters

Sachiko wants to follow in her mother's footsteps, who at this point in time became a respected member of the medical community once again and actually works in Tokyo’s biggest and best hospital, and become a doctor who takes care of others.

Regarding family, the sister whom she gets along with the most is Mizuki since both have the same values of spiritualism and interest in the occult, while the sister who gives her the most grief is Annie as she’s not as pinky or girly like she is and all the glitter and bright colors that her little sister uses at a near constant basis hurts her goth eyes

Besides her biological mother, Sachiko gets along great with both Sadayo and Makoto as she feels like if the older women can keep her safe no matter what, while her relationship with Ohya is a bit iffy and many times did she and Takemi had to work together to stop her from drinking

While on the Metaverse, she is known as Shade and is the team’s main healer, but her Dia/Healing spells takes a lot of energy from her so can only do so much at a time. Strangely enough, and despite her introverted personality, she also has a “mood-boosting” ability, where she can positively affect the emotions of others. This can only be done by making direct contact with someone and the effect only lasts temporarily. Though she never complains about her duties, her sisters often worries about her need to please others and reminds her that she can’t help others if she doesn’t help herself first.

Regarding the rest of her family, Junko is closest to her sister Rin as both are closer in age and actually consider themselves as twins, while she has issues with both Satomi and Akari with both of them being the reckless daredevils of the family

Besides her biological mother, she gets along the best with Haru and even helps her manage Okumura Foods alongside Tomiko when she runs her own cafe while her relationship with Ohya could be better as she can’t understand how free-spirited she could be at times

While on the Metaverse, she is known as Isis and due to her being the oldest and her dominant personality, she’s the natural leader amongst her sisters. However, despite being leader, she’s not the Wildcard as that particular honor goes to another of her sisters

Biography

Tammin is the sixth member of the Phantom Thieves and is a second year student at Shujin Academy, she is in Ryuji’s class.

Tammin is raised by a single mother while her father had an affair with another woman and doesn’t seem to be in contact with him at all, this has only been stated once in the game.

She has her first appearance when she showed up in Leblanc, eating curry there and meeting Ren Amamiya, the protagonist for the first time. She showed no worries at the rumors that are going around him, she even said not to react to them, that would mean giving them a reaction, which is what they wanted.

She isn’t to be seen again until the studio trip, where she seemed to be talking with Goro Akechi, who is later revealed to be his help in certain cases, as her mother works with the police, so Tammin is around them sometimes.

When she was walking in Shibuya, she accidentally got dragged into the Metaverse when Ren, Ryuji, Ann, Morgana and Yusuke were entering Mementos, not noticing her passing by while she wanted to say hi.

Tammin managed to escape Mementos through the exit and had the app ever since on her phone, but she confronted the others, who had no choice but to admit that they are the Phantom Thieves, only for her to admit that she already knew as the changes of hearts begun when Ren arrived back in April.

Despite not understanding everything yet, she asked the Phantom Thieves to change her best friend’s Candy heart due to her being in a depressed state and she was scared to lose her forever.

Despite being told not to tag along, she sneakily followed them anyway, and seeing the Palace, her heart was breaking, seeing how her best friend is losing herself more and more.

She awakened to her Persona later when confronting Candy, who swore to make her find happiness again in this distorted world after almost giving up hope.

Her Arcana, Justice, can be unlocked when she comes to Leblanc, this can happen at any moment.

Personality:

Tammin seems to be the girl that keeps to herself most of the time, but won’t hesitate to tag along in a conversation in class if it is about something that really interests her.

She speaks up to people about how they can’t say anything about Ren’s situation as they weren’t there and couldn’t have possibly known what happened, implying she can be hot headed and hates it when rumors are spread, especially when it is only there to cause hatred.

Tammin is concerned at times when it comes to her close friends, who are clearly hiding something, and is shown not to give up on them at all.

She makes very sarcastic remarks, especially when it comes down to Ryuji, but that is just the playful banter between them, which neither of them seems to mind.

As reckless as she can be sometimes, she actually thinks first, but her sharp mind and short temper is what makes her act and think at the same time.

She gets angry when people are picking up on the innocent, needing to be held back before a fight happens.

Her biggest insecurity is that she can’t help anyone that needs it, and abandonment as it happened to her. She and Ren make it a mission to change this in her confidant.

Arcana biography: a second year and fellow team member. She resents people who hurt others for their own pleasure.

Arcana end: with a clear mind, she lets go of the past and focuses on the future and present.

Persona 5: Ramón's Comeback

I wasn't going to leave this post alone especially since I began playing Persona 5 Royal. Do know keeping up with multiple social links puts a dent in your wallet to make maxing them out easier. I'll delve into that later though as it's time expand on this concept.

Ramón appears in the world of Persona 5 after CLH Season 1 events come to a close and halfway through Kamoshida's Palace. For how he ends up there... You can say his heart cried out and something answer the call.

The Castle of Lust Palace definitely isn't a place Ramón wanted to wake up in. You can predict his reaction to what seems to be teenagers being constantly tortured or the obviously inappropriate decor. Thus the Phantom Thieves next infiltration turns into a run-in with a furious Ramón using real tommy guns on Shadows.

(For any oblivious Rayman fans, the action in Persona 5 takes place within the Metaverse. A realm of cognition where someone sees or thinks can become very real. Like realistic fake weapons being able to function similar to the real deal. Palaces are a dimension created when someone's heart becomes heavily distorted and their behavior turns very dangerous in the real world.)

Believing they could help each other, Ren/Joker convinces the Thingamajig to come with them. An arrangement that leads Ramón to join the Phantom Thieves. Since he doesn't have a Persona, the Limbless uses various gadgets to aim for Shadow weakpoints. Ramón's codename will be Enigma as that what he is. Now he has three reasons in why he joined the Phantom Thieves.

The first one is to keep the group from getting into a mess they can't get. Every member of the Phantom Thieves are children who are still trying to find their path in life. He also the only(non-Persona) adult that can help them out in both worlds without drawing a crowd.

The second is to find a way back to Eden. Even though this world's better than the dystopian nightmare he calls home, there are things Ramón has to do. He can't risk losing the only chance to fix Eden's corrupt society especially since his imposter is still on the loose.

The true reason however is redemption. Even if Ramón wasn't directly involved, his obliviousness to Eden's true nature had hurt so many innocent people. He CHOSE to look ignore the red flags and share their propaganda until Bullfrog showed him the ugly truth. If protecting these kids and changing the hearts of the corrupt is something he needs to do then Ramón accepts.

That doesn't mean the Thieves nor their Personas are gonna leave him alone. It isn't hard to see how broken Ramón is. Just like them, he is someone who also became an outcast to society and bears a tale just as tragic.

Thus Ramón gets dragged into so many shenanigans. Whether it be heavily dressed up to walk in public or passed around houses so he always has a roof under his head. Ramón does help which member he's staying with in some way. The Limbless is usually a tutor since Ann and Ryuji aren't the only ones who need help when it comes to their grades.

Sojiro does let him stay after he finds out about the group's identity although it took sometime to get used to Ramón's peculiar appearance. Can't forget a good chunk of older Ren/Joker's Confidants that get dragged in once he maxes them out. Ramón and Iwai would be a terror together though.

Also considering he's an adult, the man always gets dragged in more mature conversations with the team's Persona. Ramón absolutely butts heads with Carmen on multiple occasions and ain't afraid to call her a broad. She thinks its hilarious though thus teases the hell out of him.

Do not leave Ramón alone with Captain Kidd as those two probably have a drinking contest. The Limbless needs to work on handling his liquor healthily if his bad days are proof. And sailors love their booze.

Ramón is a sad drunk kind of guy to me. Thus Arseńe listens to his liquor fueled sorrows and tends to bring tea or water so the hangover isn't harsh. Any info about Ramón's life is heavily filtered since 'cow sushi' is a bit much for their minds.

Zorro makes sure the Limbless doesn't get in over his head. Ramón tends to be quite hotheaded and the Persona knows what trouble can come with unstable emotions. Someone had to keep Morgana out of trouble when it was just them.

The more he helps the group, Ramón will slowly grow alongside them. Forming bonds he never thought would happen and come to terms with his inner demons. It is only when Ramón learns to accept himself completely shall his own Persona emerge.

When it comes to the Arcana, he represents the Aeon Tarot. Fitting since the negative side to this is ignoring the truth and accept corruption like he done as Eden's newcaster. The more Ren/Joker strengthens his bond with the Thingamajig, he'll gain abilities which revolve around combat items alongside counter based techniques.

Ramón's Persona shall be the Almighty Element Augustus, specifically James Augustus Hickey the father of Indian Journalism. My personal take on what his entry could be.

'A pioneer of Indian journalism, James Augustus Hickey launched the Bengal Gazette from Calcutta in 1780. Augustus' writings commented on the inefficiency of the British administration in India. His newspapers served as watchdogs against those in power thus influencing contemporary thought and awoke civic consciousness among the people.'

Things are definitely gonna ramp up since Ramón will gain the abilities that his videogame persona acquired with every Palace he conquers. Our group of high schoolers are about to have a powerful and quite protective parental figure. Also if he could, you know Ramón definitely adopt certain thieves when those moments arrive.

One year ago I had never read or watched anything in the romance genre and I have now hit 150 BLs, so I’ve been thinking about how I got here!

Until I was in my early 20’s I only read litfic, sci-fi and fantasy, never romance…. Then I started reading fanfiction but again, only based on sci-fi or fantasy shows/books - and I always rejected the coffee shop or university AUs - why take characters who can do magic or are vampires and make them normal humans who work in a library? So again, I missed out on all the romance tropes.

Then, during the pandemic I started reading Shameless fanfic and perhaps because the characters are humans who live in our world, I ventured into the AUs for the first time and discovered that I love all the romance tropes! Give me all the enemies to lovers, forced proximity and arranged marriages please…

Finally, this led to BLs and for the first time in my life almost all the media I consume is romance and I love it so much! What a weird journey… I’d love to hear if you’ve always enjoyed romance and how you got here?

Oh my goodness what a fun question, okay let’s hit it...

My Journey to BL via SFF, Yaoi & M/M Romance

So way back at the dawn of time I was once a hard-core fan, specifically in the science fiction and fantasy realm and specifically around 90s franchises that had to do with bad ass female warrior characters, so think Xena: Warrior Princess, Farscape, Buffy, Firefly. I did cosplay and crossplay (although we didn’t really call it that, then). I went to my first SFF con as a minor actually, as soon as I got my driver’s license and some autonomy I was out and about doing cons, ST:TNG Creatathons (is that what they were called?) and such.

I was of the right age, but that was also how I found and got involved with queer fandom, ren faires, and kink. First prides, first alliances, first marches, first dungeons, first orgy - ya know, as ya do. I sexually matured super early and ya know what? It was fine, I’m fine. It all worked out. I regret nothing and stayed healthy emotionally, mentally, and physically, probubly as a result of the companion friendship groups I was forming, so... win win!

And all because I read books like... THIS:

I’m a FAST AF reader and super advanced, I read Tolkien at like age 8, and came to fandom via books more than TV or film. (Please don’t take this as a brag because I skim and retain NOTHING, so it’s not exactly a life advantage.) By high school I was into primarily fantasy, and always wanted/liked/preferred a romantic arc and some kind of found family element (so friendship groups = a big WIN). I also really gravitated to any authors who dealt with or mentioned queer characters (like Mercedes Lackey). That’s also when I first started noticing the “kill the gays” trope.

I was always a really voracious reader. I read pretty much all the fantasy that my local library had, and then (partly because of Anne McCaffrey and a few other authors who also wrote romance), with no where else to go I moved into the romance genre. I actually got into romance before I got into science fiction. I was reading bodice rippers at age 10. Again, it was FINE. Some of us mature real early. Also I was living in the UK when Queer as Folk was doing its thing while reading lots of Mills & Boon.

Then in the early 2000s I started actively looking for consumable queer literary media. By that I mean: anything that had queer characters as the main characters. However, I really don’t like literary fiction (too depressing), and I really wanted that romantic arc. I wanted stories that gave the queer characters happy endings TOGETHER, and also that didn’t gloss over the sexual side of being queer.

This basically led me to Japanese yaoi. I don’t recall exactly how I found my first one, but I do remember the hunting.

I had to either find them and get them shipped to me via weird black market back channels, or I eventually started ordering them off Amazon. In fact, the first thing I ever bought on Amazon was a yaoi manga in dead tree form - so they might be why I opened the account. Only a few publishers were producing yaoi in translation back then, a name I particularly remember was DramaQueen. I actually even owned some yaoi publisher merchandise, which means I had an account WITH the publisher. I mean, who does that?! I had a T-shirt that said “seme” on one side and “It’s tough at the top” on the other side. I was so proud! I would wear it to sci-fi conventions, but was so obscure then that nobody I ran into ever knew what the shirt meant. I mean us geeks knew anime and even some manga, but yaoi? Not so much.

Honestly, I still only really enjoy consuming manga in printed form (I struggle with webtoons), which is one of the many reasons I haven’t followed it (or manwha) closely in recent years.

Meanwhile, at the same time I was being a yaoi fan (without a fandom) I was getting into the Hollywood indie gay romcom phase, so like Latter Days, and Shelter, and some of the other queer indie movies I talk about in this post:

Old Guard Queer Cinema for BL Lovers

So now we’re in mid 2000s and there just wasn’t a lot of manga in translation, let alone yaoi, thus I kept hunting for a more queer romance fiction to read.

Which is how I became a really early adopter of the very first, what was called back then, m/m romance. There were only a few houses producing for the American market, small publishers like Loose ID. I bought and read a ton of them in physical form, and then was super early on the e-book bandwagon because of this market almost entirely. I mean, we are talking early e-books that I had to go to the publisher’s website to buy and download - this is in the days of Sygil and Calibre. You had to read them on your laptop. I owned a FIRST generation Kindle.

At this point I’m reading mostly romances and no longer any SFF. And then recently (within the last 10 years, the two have started cross pollinating again, although now I only read SFF that has a strong romance thread and a happy ending for the queers. No exceptions will be made.

Gotta have my standards!

So I become a romance reader mostly because of yaoi, and now I do read other queer romances (not just gay ones) but before we didn’t have a choice. (Although gay romances still dominate the market.)

I kind of left mangas behind for a long time.

So when I discovered BL, and I think SOTUS was my first one (?), although it might’ve been Love by Chance or Love Sick, or... (honestly when I jump into an obsession I JUMP TF IN so early 2019 when I discovered BL I tried to watch EVERYTHING I could all at once), I brought all of this baggage and affection (and forgiveness) from my history with yaoi and early mm romance (which get a lot of things WRONG not just about being gay and queer identity but also about sex and relationships and communication) to my interpretation of the BL genre.

(Well, that’s a massive run-on sentence I’m not bothering to fix. nash)

So there it is. A very long way of saying:

because of yaoi I got into m/m romance

because of m/m romance I became an ebook romance reader

because of gay romance I have strong standards for my happy ever afters

and because of THAT I got into BL and that history still dictates the KIND of BL I prefer

TA DA!

*insert twirling flourish here*

And then, because I am an obsessive completest, I have been systematically using all of lock down to try to watch every BL ever made. Some of us don’t, ya know, stay still very well. I needed a QUEST.

Notice what’s missing? Fanfic. Yeah I have never been into it. It’s all good, I’m not against it or anything like that, just like D&D or Star Wars or electrical play... not my thing.

Mini Fanfic #1062: Interrogating Inari (Persona 5 & Sonic)

12:34 p.m. at LeBlanc Café............

It was an odd, confusing day for Yusuke Kitagawa the moment Omega silently welcome him inside the darken LeBlanc Café before closing the doors behind them. As he sits himself down on one of the café bar's seats, he notices the robot and the young couple, Morgana and Lavenza, giving him a suspicious looking glare.

Before he could start asking questions, the single clicking sound of the lamp switch is heard as Sojiro reveals in the artist's view sight, with his elbows on the table, chin standing on top of his hands, and a glare that could give even the likes of Bowser a shiver.

Sojiro: Yusuke Kitagawa. At last, you've arrived....(Gets his Head Up From his Hands and Turns Away Before Grabbing his Chin and Thinks) Or....was it Inari?....(Turns Back to Yusuke) Uh quick question: do you usually go by that or just Yusuk cause I've been hearing Futuba call you that fir the longest time while everyone else in your friend group go by your actual name. Matter of fact, what the hell does "Inari" means anyway?

Yusuke: (Grabs his Chin While Thinking as Well) I'm not sure. We've been friends for quite a while now and I still don't have the slightest clue what that nickname means.....

Lavenza: Perhaps it originated from an ancient folk tale of sorts?

Morgana: Or from one of the animes she watches......

Yusuke: (Takes his Phone Out From his Pants Pocket) I could try looking it up on my phone if-

Omega: We are losing focus on the discussion at hand.

Sojiro: Oh right. ('Clears Throat') Yusuke, Inari, or....whatever you want us to call you, we got a lot to talk about today.

Yusuke: I see. Is it about this week's Café insurance payment?

Sojiro: What? No. I mean, I do have to pay it some point this week- Look, I'm talking about you and Futuba!

Yusuke: Ahhhh yes, I see. What....about Futuba and I exactly?

Sojiro: Not to be that guy, but word has it that the two of you are about spend some quality time together.

Yusuke: (Happily Nodded) Correct. I believe we're supposed to go the arcade a few miles from here, for our first activity together, followed by a stroll around the city, find a suitable place to eat, shop, and once the sun sets, we retreat back here to have ourselves an

Morgana: (Raises an Eyebrow) And it's only gonna be just the two of you doing all of that today?

Yusuke: Percisely. I would ask you and the rest of our friends to come with, but she insisted not to so for whatever reason.

Lavenza: Interesting. And do you, pry tell, know what day it is today?

Yusuke: What day is- Ah yes, Valentine's Day. (Places his Hand on his Chest in an Somewhat Dramatic Fashion) A holiday dedicated to love, unity, the awareness of being single.

Morgana: Ryuji told you that last part, didn't he?

Yusuke: That he did, yes. (Smiles a Little) But is it nice to see the holiday give it some recognition to say the least.

Sojiro: (Snickers a Bit) Yeah, more or less. (Let's Out a Chuckle Before Giving Yusuke a Deadpinned Look) But no seriously, you do realize my daughter is taking you out on a date, right?

Yusuke: But going out on a date implies to those who are romantically interest in one another. (Chuckles Lightly) And there's no possible way that Futuba of all people, would have any feelings towards me.

Everyone else started looking at each other in silence for a second before turning back to Yusuke.

Lavenza: Yusuke-San, I'm not sure how long you haven't noticed, but.....

Omega: That girl has it down bad for you.

Yusuke: (Eyes Starts to Widened in Genuine Surprise) What? But....that's impossible! There's no proof of that being true. Is it?

Sojiro: (Shrugs) We wouldn't be having this conversation if it wasn't.

Morgana: Think about it. You ever noticed how she started hanging out with you a lot more than she does with Ren, Ryuji, Ann, Makoto, mom, or anyone of us in here as of late?

Yusuke: Well....I suppose we have spent more time together than usual in the last two years..... (Smiles a Little) And I have grown to enjoy her company as of late. She's a wonderful companion who deserves every happiness she receives.

Lavenza/Morgana: (Clasps Their Hands While Smiling at Yusuke With Puppy Dog Eyes) AWWWWWWWWW!~

Yusuke: (Grabs his Chin While Thinking) But i wonder......Do you really think I have what takes to be a suitable love partner to her? I never been in a relationship before, and my knowledge of is minimal at best.

Omega: Being in a romantic relationship can be a challenging process for two or more parties involve and takes a fairly long amount of time of time, patience, and error regardless of the chemistry you share. But if you are willing to step out of your comfort facilities, give it an honest chance, and take the time to learn from one another as your lifespan continues to progress, then I am certain that you two will able to far as an official couple, but only if you choose to go along with the ordeal.

Sojiro: (Almost at a Loss For Words) Wow, I....Honestly couldn't have said any better myself.

Lavenza: (Smiles Softly at the E-Series Robot) We never knew you were so knowledgeable at romance, Omega-Kun.

Omega: (Puts on a Deadpinned Look on his Face) Mother Rouge always makes Knuckles and I watch romance related shows every time she has her hands the remotes. It eventually comes with territory unfortunately....

Sojiro: That explains it. (Turns Back to Yusuke) But Omega's right, kid. You'll never know what the world of romance might have in store for either of you if you give it a shot. (Smiles Softly) We know you two have what it takes.

'A-HEM'

The lights finally brightens up around the café as the gang turn to see Futuba crossing her arms, glaring at them.

Futuba: What the flipping curry is going on in here? (Facepalms Herself) Please don't tell me you forgot to pay the insurance apayment again, Sojiro.....

Sojiro: (Sighs While Rolling his Eyes) I haven't forgotten to pay anything, Futuba. It's due in a few days and it's not what's going on here.

Yusuke: If I may, sir? Futuba, can I ask you something?

Futuba: (Immediately Notices Yusuke is in the Room as Well) Inari, you're here! (Makes her Way to Him) And yeah, what you wanna ask me?

Yusuke: This....may or not come out of thin air, but....is it true that.....you may have a possible interest in me? In a romantic sense?

Futuba: (Squint her Eyes in Confusion) Interest in you in romantic-

As the words "romantic" escape from her mouth, something inside her brain starts to click as her eyes starts to widens and a blush begins to appear on both of her cheeks.

Futuba: H-HUUUUUUUH!?~

Yusuke: Romantic interest. Or I suppose in layman's terms: having a plausible sized crush on-

Futuba: I KNOW WHAT IT MEANS, INARI! (Chuckles Very Awkwardly) And it's ridiculous!~ I mean, really, how can I, a shut-in weeb, could EVER fall for such a talented, fairly good looking INARI like you? That's crazy!~

Futuba's chuckles slowly starts to die down as she sees everyone in the room staring at her with deadpinned looks, clearly not buying the see through denial act or as she mostly put it, the "Tsundere" act.

Futuba: (Sighs in Defeat Before Facepalming Herself) Okay, this is starting to get repetitive now- Fine, I confess! I....(Starts Turning Away While Blushing) do have a crush on you, Yusuke.

Yusuke: (Eyes Starts to Widened Again) You said my actual name.....This must be serious then.

Futuba: (Quickly Glares at her Crush) Will you can it already!? This isn't a joke or some kind of elaborate prank on your dispense! I REALLY do like you, Yusuke Kitagawa! So would you kindly stop being a smart-ass and take me seriously for once!?

'Silence'

Futuba: (Calms Herself Down by Sighing Before Rubbing her Arm Softly) Sorry. I didn't mean to blow up on you like that....Sorry in advance, Sojiro, but letting out your emotions can be a real bitch sometimes, you know?

Yusuke: (Chuckles Lightly) I agree. But really it's okay. If anything I should apologize for making you upset to begin with.

Futuba: (Shrugs) Eh. I'm over it now, so you don't have to worry about all of that. (Shyly Turns her Front her) So.....what do you think? About my confessions and whatnot.....

Yusuke: Well....as overjoyed I am to hear your confessions....(Starts Blushing) And how I am beginning to feel similarly towards you as well....

Futuba: (Eyes Begins to Widened Before Turning Back to Yusuke) S-Seriously? Are you actively for real right now!?

Yusuke: (Chuckles Lightly) Yes. That I am. (Frowns a Bit) But even still, if I'm being honest, I can't help but to also feel nervous about starting a legitimate relationship between us.

Futuba: Duuuude! I'm nervous about all of that crap too!

Yusuke: Really now?

Futuba: Really times infinity! I mean, being a couple is great and all, but I'm still getting used to going out and socializing with every new people I mean without running away and hide. What makes you think I would have what it takes to be romantic 24/7?

Yusuke: Perhaps we could let our feelings run it's course until it comes natural for both of us? There's no telling how long it will take, but I believe it's a better alternative than just simply rushing into it.

Lavenza: (Smiles Softly at the Duo) We could help you learn the fundamentals of romance if the both of you like?

Morgana: (Happily Nodded) Yeah, definitely. (Gently Holds Lavenza's Hand) We're still new to the whole thing ourselves, but it wouldn't hurt either of us to lend you two a hand.

Omega: I am not the biggest fan of the concept myself. (Smiles Brightly) But I am still willing to give you assistance if need.

Sojiro: (Smiles Softly) Same here. It's been a long while since I've gotten into a relationship myself, but I can be pretty knowledgeable on the subject. You two are in good hands.

Yusuke: (Simply Nodded With a Sincere Smile on his Face) And we can't thank you all enough for each of your support.

Futuba: Group Hugs!~

The gang gathered around for a group hug among one another before light tabs on the glass doors rang into their eardrums as they turn to see Sae Niijima and a few other people standing outside of the café.

Sae: Pardon me for intruding such a touching moment. (Starts Glaring at Sojiro) But can you PLEASE let us inside already!? I am on the clock right now!

Tae: (Pops her Head Out From Behind the Prosecutor With An Annoyed Look) We all are.

And right on cue, the rest of the crowd begins to speak out their complaints as well.

Sojiro: I uh.....(Begins to Chuckle Awkwardly) guess we left those door close lock for too long there, huh?

Futuba: (Smiles Brightly) Yup. Which is Inari and I cue to leave.

Yusuke: ('Sigh') And we're back on the nickname department....

Futuba: (Happily Hugs Yusuke's Arm as the Two Make Their Way to the Door) Hush, boy. You know you love it~

Sojiro: Well, I hope you two be safe be, don't try any funny business, and have fun out there.

Futuba: We will!~ (Unlocks the Door to the Café, Letting Everyone Outside In) Café's now reopen, folks!~

Sae: (Sighs in Relief as She Walks in) Finally.... (Turns to the Duo With a Soft Smile) I hope you two have a good time on your date today.

Futuba: Thank you bunch, Big Sis Sae. (Happily Waves Goodbye at Sojiro and the Other as She and Yusuke Walk Put Together) Don't try and spy on us while we're gone or I'll hate you all foreverrrrr!~

Sojiro: We hear you loud and clear, kiddo. See ya! (Let's Out a Bit if a Heavily Sigh) I guess it's time to go back on our regularly scheduled program. (Turns to the Rest of the Gang) You three mind helping an old man out here?

Morgana/Lavenza: (Happily Salutes to Sojiro) Yes sir!~

Omega: Affirmative. (Quickly Looks Down on his Arm and Makes a Call) Abort the stealth operation. I repeat: Abort the stealth operation!

Meanwhile outside of the café, Solid Snake receives the call Omega gave while hiding behind the building's rooftop.

Snake: Cope that. (Ends the Call Before Sighing Heavily) I need to start my early retirement already. I'm getting too old for this.....
