where is this rampant utahime hate that stsg shippers supposedly spew? from what I've seen they tend to like her and some of them ship her with shoko.
I always see gjhm shippers say stsg shippers are misogynistic and hate utahime but I personally have never seen it. disliking a certain ship doesn't equal to hating a female character. also I have seen plenty gjhm shippers dislike geto and so what. as long as they don't make up stuff it's fine. not liking utahime or finding her boring is also fine, even if one ships stsg.
same way I have seen lvhn shippers claim eruri shippers hate hange and I have seen like one eruri shipper dislike hange, while plenty of lvhn shippers despise erwin, and make up stuff like claiming erwin abuses levi or is a sociopath (lol). I just feel het shippers make stuff up to demonize m/m ships...

Just a lil weepy thinking about post-war dadvi, his little boy (5? 6?) wanting to make tea for his Dad the way he’s seen him do it a million times, because he just loves him so much and admires him and wants to make him the happiest Dad in the world, but he’s still so little compared to the world around him, so he pulls a chair over to the counter and climbs on it, putting water in the teapot, opening the canister of tea leaves, and pulling a teacup - Levi’s favorite teacup - out of the cabinet. but his hands are small, and when he tries to climb down from the chair the cup slips from his hand and breaks on the kitchen floor.
So, naturally Levi comes hurrying (as much as he can on his stiff knee) into the kitchen to see what produced the noise, and finds the chaos his little one has produced on the counter, and him, kneeling on the ground, with shards of porcelain in front of him. And when his father stands in the doorway, he looks up at him, tears collecting at his lash line.
“I’m sorry, Daddy…” he’ll whimper.
“What happened?” Levi’ll ask in his usual monotone voice, but there’s a softness behind it.
And the boy will try to explain, tears rolling down his face, feeling so awful for making a mess, and for breaking his Dad’s favorite cup, and for not being able to take care of Daddy the way Daddy takes care of him, because he’s got Levi’s same bleeding heart beating in his chest, the one that wants to take care, the one wants to be strong and independent. But also his introspection, his emotion, his sensitivity and empathy.
And Levi’ll be transported back to his own childhood, the teacup that belonged to his mom, the one that they had to sell, the one he tried to get back, but couldn’t. And his heart will ache so bad to think that his child, his sweet perfect angle of a thing, feels even a fraction of the hurt he felt over a piece of porcelain, because of his utter devotion to him.
And he’ll take the boy in his arms, and he’ll hold him close, and he’ll tell him patiently and gently, in his Levi way, that a cup is just a thing, and what matters most is that he wasn’t hurt. And how much he appreciates the boy wanting to do a nice thing for him, but that what he was doing was dangerous, and how important it is that he be more careful, because stoves are hot, and chairs can tip, and broken porcelain can cut one of his 10 miraculous sweet little fingers, and there are thousands of teacups to replace what broke but nothing in all of eternity could replace the boy, living and breathing, that he holds fast to his chest. (His voice is quiet, words grammatically simple, and his tone is steady but his heart is physically ACHING and flailing in his chest from how much love is trying to squeeze into it rn)
And Levi tells his son, in plain English (Eldian? Idk?), that he loves him, and that he always will, because with a tiny mind and heart at stake, there’s no room for beating around the bush with that talk like he often does. And he tells him that his parents will help him to do whatever he wants to do, and to ask for help next time.
Because if only someone’d told Levi, when he was that small, that they would help him. If someone has just loved him, and ALWAYS been there… how much easier he could’ve breathed all those years. The prospect of not having to constantly be afraid to feel. To fail.
It’s all he can think about - how he can do better, give more, than what he had - even in a moment as seemingly small as this.
(I’m sorry.)

This has probably already been said, but I have to talk about the courtroom scene and why it was a fantastic introduction to not only Levi, but Erwin too—and their relationship.
So we first meet Levi in the heat of battle. We see very quickly the type of fighter he is—confident, but not overly so. He has a strong command of himself and the people under him. He’s The Guy.
Then Erwin shows up and announces they’re pulling back—Levi immediately argues this. We might assume Levi is being set up as the guy who ~doesn’t do well with authority.~ You know the type. He does his own thing. Doesn’t play well with others. Chafes under orders. He’s too big and too important for all of that!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This impression continues when Eren meets Levi and Erwin in the dungeon. Levi is rude and mouthy, and Erwin’s chastisements do little to curb this. Levi’s confidence and skill give him authority issues…right?
So then we move to the courtroom scene, Eren’s trial. Erwin says beforehand that he has a plan, but we’re told nothing more. We see him propose to the court that Eren be given to the Scouts, and he says nothing more.
Tumblr media
Levi is the one to scathingly go after the MPs during the debate, pointing out the flaws in their plan and how likely it is that they’re trying to save their own skin. First time viewers might assume that, again, while Erwin is a charismatic leader, he doesn’t go far enough. Levi is the one to say the quiet part out loud, to go to the places Erwin’s too ~respectable~ to go.
Then things start to go sideways. The court’s favor seems to be turning against Eren and the Scouts, fear and paranoia winning out. Eren is getting desperate.
Enter Levi.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And we get this glorious scene. Levi convinces the court that Eren is harmless to the likes of someone like him. Their best bet is to do what Erwin asked and give Eren to the Scouts. Please.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Notice how Erwin is not shocked, nor does he try to stop Levi.)
Now again, to a first time viewer, this scene feeds into our preconceived notion of Levi. He’s the guy who isn’t deterred by silly things like rank or authority. He saw that things weren’t going Erwin’s way, so he took matters into his own hands. Maybe Erwin will be mad about this later, but Levi will shrug and roll his eyes and say “but I got results, didn’t I?” and Erwin will have no argument for that.
…Right?
Cut to the next scene, after the court has granted the Scouts custody of Eren—and Erwin’s like, “sooo…sorry about that. We had to make it look good.”
This whole thing was planned by Erwin.
Tumblr media
The scene was more or less staged by the Scouts. Erwin wanted to present himself as the calm, collected leader with clean hands. And Levi was the one to do the dirty work, be the brutalizer—even though it was all on Erwin’s orders.
He’ll play that role. He’ll be the rogue, the rough one, the problem child, because his personality fits so well into that niche anyway. But he does it because Erwin wanted him to. If Erwin had wanted him to stand nice and quiet the entire time during the trial, if that’s what needed to be done, Levi would’ve done that instead. He’s not looking to get results; he trusts Erwin’s methods and does what he’s told.
And in this case, he was told to beat up this helpless brat. Gladly.
Tumblr media
(How much do you want to bet one of the MPs said to Erwin after, “you need to keep your dog under control.” I would simply implode.)
Like, if this display will land anyone in trouble, it wouldn’t be Erwin—it would be Levi. Levi’s the one who got violent and mouthy during a military trial. He broke rank. He attacked the defendant. Erwin isn’t, ostensibly, responsible for this at all. Levi willingly put himself in that position because he trusted Erwin.
And so everything we thought we knew about Levi is turned on its head! Eren even says so in the next episode—he expresses surprise that Levi’s so diligent about following orders.
Eren, silly boy, assumes that being skilled means you don’t have to take orders from anyone. But Levi does. It’s his whole character. (Notice how, despite him ending up being the oldest member of the Scouts, he’s never in line for Commander? He’s the hands, not the head.)
And this whole thing provides so much insight into Erwin’s character as well! Pyxis says at the beginning of the episode that Erwin is very straight-laced. Well, by the end of the episode, we can see that’s…not quite true.
Erwin is conniving, willing to play dirty, do whatever it takes, to get things to go his way. All while keeping his own hands clean, maintaining the image of the honorable Commander. He simply uses the tools at his disposal (Levi) to do the dirty bits for him.
It’s a fantastic introduction to the Scouts, their leader, and his right hand (or is it the left hand that does the dirty work?)

Thinking about how Postwar!Levi might feel insecure with you kissing him with his scar. He apologizes if the texture of his scar on his lips bother you leading you to kiss him more and to tell him that you love his lips, even with his scar

I have been scrolling snk twitter just to see people's reactions to the anime ending and I came across this by chance, a harmless tweet, and for some reason I decided to look at the comments. And of course there was some disgusting straight man talking about how Historia is having sex with farmer-kun, and he worded it in a degrading way, just to trigger people who like her. Like men always when they hate a woman or female character start to talk about sex in a degrading way, it's wild. Like I have seen men send disgusting hentai of Historia to a positive tweets about her.
I have to admit the tweet creator is right in her caption, I guess that's what triggered that guy so much. Anyway I'm so sick of female characters being degraded bcos of fucking ships.

rewatching aot with full knowledge of what are the motives of certain characters is just mind blowing. like observing reiner, annie and bertholdt in every scene just gives me such a whiplash. every single little interaction and everything they say gives the viewer clues.
isayama really planned certain scenes years ahead. like every plot twist is so well refined and thought out

Pretty please do more porco as a dad whenever you can that was scrumptious 💗💗
anything for you 🥰💗
semi-part two to porco suddenly becoming a dad from a while ago
Tumblr media
╰┈➤ as a dad - aot.
ft. porco, fem!reader cw. explicit language, implied sex.
Tumblr media
it becomes quickly obvious to you that your daughter loves her dad more than she loves you and you just have to deal with it, i'm sorry.
it's honestly a mystery how she learns how to walk because porco carries her around everywhere he goes. she's either cradled in his arms or sitting up on his shoulders so she can "see the world from up here," says the 5'8" man
he lets her play with his hair whenever she wants, even though she complains that it's not long enough to do anything with. whenever he gets a haircut and the sides are freshly buzzed, he runs over to his little girl and lets her run her fingers through the soft fuzz 🥺
also, be prepared for her first word to be "fuck". this man does not censor himself around your child, or anyone else's!! i'm certain that you get more than one phone call from angry parents asking you to please tell your husband to stop swearing in front of the kids
he signs your daughter up for hockey as soon as she's old enough to play 💀 drives her in the morning to practice and on the way home from the rink, he'll stop for some hot chocolate and donuts (sorry, is my Canadian showing here???)
if you approach him about having a second child, he has a hard time with it at first. he loves your daughter so much, it's hard for him to imagine finding room in his heart to love two babies!!
but you finally convince him and the two of you get to work on a second baby and this one is a boy!! porco gets really excited about telling your daughter about her new baby brother and (to no one's surprise) she pitches a fit about having to share her daddy w someone else
porco helps her get over it by really involving her with the pregnancy. he lets her sit on his lap when he's reading to your belly, gets her to feel when the baby is kicking, and gets her to help choose what colour to paint the baby's room and what toys to get for him
and when you give birth to the second baby, and porco holds him for the first time, he realizes that he doesn't have to even think about making room in his heart for another child because it's already been there this whole time 🥺 this man is a blubbering mess in the delivery room for both kids, i swear
when your kids get old enough to start talking back, porco gets really annoyed but like -- who does he think they learned it from?? 💀
@gallliard tagging u because i know you'll wanna see this

You know, if I had a nickel for every time a favorite bespectacled character with only one eye was originally killed off in the first week of September by first being burned alive then having their body completely obliterated, I'd have two nickels.
Which isn't a lot but it's soul-crushing weird that it happened twice
