procrastinating school work so let me talk about my starwars (Anakin) aus

There's that lion!Vader Au, if I named it I don't remember the name but basically, either Anakin doesn't tell Padme where he's going or she doesn't go to Mustafar. might actually have R2D2 with Padme as her bodyguard or Anakin just didn't want r2 to know what he did to the separatist leaders. anakin doesn't come back from Mustafar because when he leaves the planet, the force decides 'okay, enough atrocities for the next... two decades.' and transforms him into a lion and sends him to a green planet. Sidious finds him a year later and decides to just build a gladiator ring and throw him in there to execute the people he wants dead on television.

19 years later Luke, Leia, Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, Padme, Cody, and Rex all get captured and are sentenced to be executed as a group with some other non-important people. Anakin eats the non-important people and vaguely recognizes some but tries to kill Luke and Leia because he doesn't recognize them.

SITS au - sith in the senate au - me trying to explore my favorite arc (mortis) and what would have happened if Anakin left with the son (and the daughter) and the father let Ahsoka and Obi-wan go thirty minutes later but Anakin is nowhere in sight when they go back to the real world. this is also the au where the Tusken massacre is really addressed in this au, in others it didn't happen, obviously in lion!vader it did since it only changes in rots. i don't know if it's really a character study that I'm doing for this au but I'm actually writing an essay on Anakin for my writing class and I'm so using elements from this for that and from that for this.

(please- someone stop me from making Barriss run away from the Jedi and Anakin adopting Barriss after she ends up on Tatooine and Anakin gets over his initial feeling of 'YOU D:<')

anakin gets found by Palpatine and Shmi dies (i think) but surely its not you Pal Friendpatine's fault :0

Anyway, Palpatine finds Anakin at like... 5 and adopts him and brings him on his path to becoming chancellor and then the clone wars start at the Naboo blockade, Palpatine started cloning **early**. no, I have no idea how old Jango Fett is, why do you ask? anakin befriends some of the clones and takes an interest in politics because he thinks he can convince then senate to stop creating clones and just recruit normal civilians to the army.

this au is inspired by Hazbin Hotel song 'you didn't know' and some brave group of clones tries to plead their case to the senate, ankin watches in on it, nala se mentions the chips in the kaminoan rebuttal of clone rights and Anakin FREAKS. palpatine tries to calm him saying 'they are to control them, they're dangerous otherwise' and basically dooms himself. also, Anakin specifically has wings. see, I subscribe to the thinking of 'Anakin can shapeshift due to his unstable DNA' Edit: I Found it! @thewildballyntynesgrow or mballyntyne on Ao3 with their series 'A Wild Thing to Tame'. Anakin leaves taking a majority of the coruscant guard with him and goes back to Tatooine and starts freeing a whole bunch of planets over the years. the meeting in the senate takes place when he is fourteen, the empire starts when he is seventeen. Anakin adopts Boba and Galen Marek. anakin and the freed outer rim either hide rebel bases or use their revolutions as distractions for the empire.

Retconned rebel Anakin Au. aka, Barriss is the same age as Anakin and befriends him and Ferus eventually befriends him, and Anakin is closer to those two and some others than Obi-wan and Ahsoka (who is Obi-wan's padawan) Barriss never bombs the temple, the empire rises but the original empire dies like a year into the reign and another emperor rises.... Emperor Obi-wan Kenobi and his daughter Ahsoka how are both overly attached to rebel leader Anakin Skywalker and are both trying to adopt him and turn him to their side... by kidnapping Anakin's family. (rexanidala). anakin adopts so many kids, most of them are force-sensitive and want to fight so he lets them reluctantly but those not young enough to choose or fight are sent to live with Rex, Padme, Luke, Leia, and their grandparents; Dooku and Plo.

Ventress and Anakin Swap au, sort of. anakin got nabbed from his mom by Dooku. Dooku never found Ventress, Obi-wan does instead. Obi does not train Ventress but they are friends forever after. ventress tries forcefully redeeming the seventeen-eighteen year old Sith lord and it only sort of works. he defects but really only after he finds out about the slavery in creating battle droids. Anakin isn't really a separatist general, he just has a specialized group of droids that he rebuilds after fights with Jedi. he never fights clones with droids.

after defecting Anakin plans with Ventress and decides to free the outer rim then take the former slaves that will join him and start up a third party to the war. inspired by 'blood oath' by the art of pleasing princes.

okay so for this next au, named Anakin Umakkar, The rain storm. sources are ADragonsFriend and @fialleril or fialleril on a03, and @clawedandcute or ClawedandCute (Adi_Fire) on a03. and songs this au is inspired by for this au is (and in order) Puppeteer, Done For, Hell is Forever, There are Other Ways, What Did I Miss? and Respectless.

Umakkar was a name I first read about in a book called 'Elder sisters' by ADragonsFriend. I first heard about Ekkreth in Fialleril's books. the concept of Anakin staying on Tatooine was inspired by ClawedandCute's book and au 'The Accidental Sith'

Anyway, Qui-gon and the queen's ship never stops on Tatooine, but the clone wars do not start early. a solid two months into the Clone Wars, it is revealed that Jabba the Hutt has been dead for a year, and Tatooine has freed itself from the huts. Senator Padme Amidala and Jedi Obi-wan Kenobi (and Padawan Ahsoka Tano) are sent to Tatooine to try to get Tatooine to align with the republic. now please listen to Puppeteer and Done For (no, Anakin does not turn any clones into pigs, just like any non-clone serving in the army ). once Obi-wan draws his lightsaber on Anakin, Anakin just swipes it away, unhurt, and has him and other... three (Cody, Padme, and Ahsoka)locked up until he decided to hear them out. (cue hell is forever, the last lines being, "the freed outer rim has found both the separatists and the republic to be the enemy" ya know due to their armies) then when it looks like Anakin is gonna do something to them to send a message to the republic, Obi-wan pleads with him and mentions the Sith Dooku mentioned and any evil smile on Anakin's face slips away into annoyance "Sidious, huh?" and in 'There are other ways' fashion tells obi-wan about Mortis and other wells in the force that might be better for the Jedi to focus at. when asked why he had that reaction to the 'Sidious' character, he implies that Sidious has reached out to him to join either side of the war, like once per side.

he sends Obi-Wan and the Clones that want to return on their way and a year later decides that enough is enough and heads to Coruscant under the pretense of negotiating. palpatine sets up a committee to welcome Tatooine to the republic only for 'respectless' to happen and Anakin starts arguing with Orn Free Taa, then Palpatine himself and once Palpatine leaves, turns to the Jedi in the room and says "yeah, you might want to look into that..." and leaves.

Detached Mortis god au: inspired by the ocean saga

switching up the timeline here, Rako Hardeen happens, the Wrong Jedi arc happens, *Then* mortis happens. Anakin is alone on Mortis, he decides to stay, Padme is pregnant, the empire rises, Padme survives and joins the rebellion, Ahsoka becomes Fulcrum. Obi-wan joins the rebellion to help train Luke and Leia. Luke, Leia, Han, Ezra and some others start on a mission, but it starts off rough. Ezra decides to pray to a Force Diety he or Ahsoka met once and the diety appears and decides to grant them safe passage to the actual start of the mission as long as they keep Ahsoka, who they meet up with later on the mission, safe. if they accept and fail, another god is going to have a really big problem with them. they accept and all goes well until the last day of the mission, everything falls apart and Ahsoka is separated from the group and captured. the gang decides they need to go back to base to think and plan. on their way back their ship is seemingly attacked but they cant tell by what, they crash land at base and get out of the ship, not the falcon, only to meet two dragon-like-creatures, and a portal opens and a very pissed Anakin steps out. he kidnaps a bunch of rebels and puts them in the world between worlds and tells them they only get their people back when Ahsoka is safe. Obi-Wan and Padme only make it to the hangar this goes down once Anakin has stepped back through the portal.

au where jedi healers take a vow not unlike jedi temple guards, but instead of wearing a mask and becoming anonymous, they give up their sight and wear blindfolds to allow the Force to guide their every action. it’s also supposed to blind them to their patients’ differences, which used to be symbolic but since the war between the jedi and the sith broke out, has become much less so

because jedi healers are supposed to heal regardless of if their patient is a jedi or a sith, when they’re deployed on battlefields after the fighting is over, they use the Force to heal every injured person they come upon.

anakin skywalker, who was chosen from the creche and agreed to follow the Healing path at the age of 9, thinks it’s sort of stupid that they have to wait until after the fighting is over to begin to help because he can feel people dying in the Force, he can feel their pain--

young general kenobi, who remembers his old creche-mate anakin skywalker and how blue his eyes once were, thinks it’s beyond foolhardy that this healer is stealing out across an active battlefield, blindfold over his eyes and bending down to heal karking darth maul and single-handedly diverting all of obi-wan’s attention away from the droids and sith legion because now he has to make sure he’s ok he can’t just leave him to the whims of the Force, he’s unprotected and he’s going to get himself killed----

it’s a headache and a half for everyone involved because general kenobi keeps abandoning his battle strategy and sometimes even position to ensure healer skywalker’s safety and healer skywalker keeps dropping everything and everyone the moment he feels obi-wan kenobi get hurt in the Force to rush to his side, Force Vow of Healing Equality be damned.

but......the Council keeps deploying them to the same battlefield because healer skywalker is never more effective as when he knows he must heal fifty mortal wounds before he can rid general kenobi of a headache, and general kenobi is never as ruthless as when skywalker is on the field close to him, in potential harm’s way

Yeah yeah jedi Maul au we've all seen him. But what about senator Maul au. Representing Dathomir, a neutral world like Mandalore that is still somewhat hostile to outsiders. Wearing fancy clothes that show a bit too much skin for the cold climate of Coruscant. Falling in hate at first sight with Padmé, the only other senator who brings a gun to the senate floor "just in case". The two of them having a weird rivalry because Maul doesn't trust the Jedi and is neutral in a lot of subjects that Padmé is a vocal defender of.

I just spent my entire afternoon going through you SSK AU and i was very confused when i realized i was all caught up and there wasn't any other post to read...

Also SSK!Anakin would be so offended that canon!Obi Wan who was switched with his Obi Wan isn't giving him all of his attention. Meanwhile Canon! Anakin is trying so hard not to die because his master is being so affectionate ?? And he's complimenting him ?? And he gets this very hungry look when he calls him Master now ?? He's not sure if he wants it to stop because he's one (1) compliment away from self combustion but also Obi Wan is calling him 'My Dear' and brushing his hand against his and also petting his hair AND THERE'S THIS ONE TIME HE GENTLY STROKE HIS CHEEK

Strangely, I got a notification from two years ago yesterday about an SSK post for absolutely no reason and that reminded me that I never finished cleaning the SSK draft to post it on ao3 😶 Maybe 2023 will be the year!

but yes, the combined SSK AU and canon is so goooood, canon Anakin would end up eating out of the palm of SSK's hand in less than two days, SSK would only have to say "my darling, would you like to join the dark side with me?" and Anakin's brain would make very loud static noise after 'darling' and dreamily reply "of course Master" and that would be it, SSK would win with a little pat on his shoulder and a "come along, then."

Meanwhile SSK!Anakin is absolutely desperate for any kind of attention, basically lying down on Obi-Wan's desk and pushing all the things on it, like "what do you mean you can't divert me because you have a job and responsibilities? you've never cared for anything but ME before!"

What if Anakin broke off his connection to the dark side & ran away with Padmé? Padmé.2008’s Mustafar AU!Part 1

Notes- in this AU, Obi-wan decided to remain on Padmé’s ship and figured he would observe Padmé and Anakin’s interaction. He promised himself that he would only intervene if it seemed Anakin was losing control. After all, Obi-wan knew his trust with Anakin had been shaken, due to the Rako Hardeen incident and him asking Anakin to spy on the Chancellor. Also, I am pretending that none of the Rush Clovis incidents from season 2 and 6 of the Clone Wars ever occurred, as I am against the strained, tense portrayal of Anakin and Padmé’s relationship in the Clone Wars and do not agree that Padmé would just let Clovis sexually assault her. You can have your own opinions and I will respect that, but please do not argue back or make any rude comments. Now, I hope you enjoy:

Darkness, death and destruction swirled around in the Force. It clouded Anakin’s vision. It poisoned his heart.

The once respected Hero with No Fear was nearing the point of no return. He had committed many horrendous atrocities. He was partially responsible for introducing the Galaxy to an era of dictatorship and darkness. And now, he is dimming the light and hope radiating from the love of his life.

At Padmé’s desperate words “Come back, I love you!” Anakin’s suppressed jealously and insecurity bubbled to the surface, his eyes transforming into a sickly amber hue.

“You love me?” He scoffed at a bewildered Padmé. “Then why aren’t you willing to become a part of my new Empire that will secure your safety? I’ve sacrificed everything for you. I’ve set everything aflame. But then you run away to Obi-wan!” Anakin thundered, his voice booming with an eery coldness.

Padmé, usually standing tall despite her petite stature, shrunk back in fear and disgust of what the man before her had become. Where had the compassionate, curious man she loved so dearly disappeared to? Tears continued to stream down her pale face in response to her internal queries that would likely remain unanswered for some time. And then there was the fact that she was puzzled at the mention of Obi-wan.

“Yeah, I see you’re thinking about him. I can sense him in your ship now. I see you are finally running away from me to be with your one true love!” Anakin barked, a scowl settling over his fatigued face, his hands clenching tensely. He looked as enraged as the bubbling lava that flowed all over Mustafar.

“Anakin…I…” Padmé trailed off and fiddled with her brown braid nervously. She was petrified of the man before her. She kept praying that this was all a dark dream of a twisted, terrible universe. She kept trying to gather courage to calm this stranger down. She kept trying to imagine that it was a crooked, cold-hearted clone of Anakin before her. But all Padmé could do was realise that this was reality. A kriffed-up reality. A reality where her beloved Ani had become all she swore to protect innocent lives against, ever since she entered the field of public service at the young age of eight.

“I only love Anakin Skywalker. With my whole heart. But you are not him. My Ani would never accuse me of anything. My Ani would never succumb to the dark side. My Ani would never slaughter innocents.” Padmé wept, her chocolate eyes now becoming red raw and puffy from crying up a whole sea worth of tears.

Anakin’s glowing eyes widened at her words. His eyes then returned to their normal cerulean blue. He was slowly coming to his senses at Padmé’s passionate words and the sight of her sobbing uncontrollably. Noticing this and the way she stumbled away from him as he took a step closer, her arms wrapped protectively around her swollen stomach, led Anakin to freeze. As did the warm, familiar presence piercing into his consciousness.

“Anakin. Snap out of it. This is your last chance to prove to Padmé you are still the love of her life, not an irredeemable monster.” A gruff, yet gentle voice whispered to his muddled mind.

At Qui-gon’s words, Anakin’s knees gave way and he collapsed to the ash-covered ground. His eyes drooped shut like a Milla flower withering away. He forced himself to disconnect from the Force, at least temporarily, so he did not have to feel the death, destruction and chaos he had helped spread across the Galaxy like a deadly disease.

Anakin Skywalker had resurfaced, Vader retreating to the depths of his mind. And with the resurrection of the Chosen One came an onslaught of emotions. Fear. Grief. Guilt. Deep, deadly regret gnawed at Anakin, and he knew that life would never be the same. He had murdered so many innocents. He had betrayed all he stood for. He had led half of his dear 501st clones into the Temple massacre, knowing full well they were being controlled like slaves. He had broken the hearts of Obi-wan and Ahsoka. He had ruined his mother’s legacy. And the thought that stood out to him the most was that he had forever damaged his relationship with Padmé and his unborn child.

Anakin felt his breathing become raspy as his eyes begun flooding with tears. He felt his heart thumping as violently as an explosion. His body also begun shaking and sweating as if he was battling a sandstorm.

Kriff, he thought, frustrated. I need to apologise profusely to Padmé and assure her I love her more than anything and now I’m having a panic attack!

“What have I done?” Anakin whimpered, his hands clutching his dark, dirty blond hair for dear life.

He felt as if his heart was going to leap out of his chest as his mind replayed the bloodcurdling screams of the innocent Jedi he slaughtered. He felt as if his fragile mind would shatter as remembered the way Padmé stumbled away from him as if he were a blood-stained beast. He felt as if a lightsaber were viciously stabbing him as he realised how he had become all he had swore as a little boy on Tatooine to destroy- a cold-blooded killer. A merciless traitor. A horrendous husband. A-

“Ani?” A soft voice muttered cautiously. “Can you hear me, my love?” The voice continued shakily before Anakin shivered at the gentle, soothing touch of a warm hand on his tense shoulder.

Anakin whipped his eyes open at the touch. There knelt his brave, beautiful wife, her tanned dress stained with tears, a nervous smile on her face.

He almost laughed in adoration at the sight of many stray chocolate curls framing her face, until he remembered what a merciless monster he felt like.

“No, please get away from me! I don’t want to hurt you. I don’t deserve you.” Anakin muttered in distress as he attempted to stand up. He failed almost immediately, his long legs feeling numb and collapsing.

Anakin expected to fall to the grimy ground with a thud and the sight of Padmé waddling away from him. But instead, Padmé rushed to wrap an arm around his sweat-stained neck.

She got comfortable on the grey ground, legs crossed and a small smile etching itself on her face as she rubbed patterns on his neck with her thumb, attempting to help his panic attack subside.

He closed his eyes and felt his body calm at Padmé’s family touch. Absentmindedly, Anakin’s flesh hand reached for Padmé’s, and he intertwined their fingers as he did on those many restless nights when one of them awoke from a numbing nightmare.

“You are back.” She breathed in disbelief, as she struggled to hold back a wave of relieved tears.

Anakin chocked back a grateful sob. Despite all the blood he had on his hands. Despite the fact that he had contributed to the fall of the Republic that Padmé had fought so hard to preserve. Despite the fact he had roared at her, blinded by rage, jealousy and darkness. She still unconditionally loved him.

“You…y-you…don’t hate me? But…but…I killed so many. I abolished the Republic. I accused you of cheating on me. I did so many disgusting things. I-” Anakin’s rambling was cut off as Padmé pressed a finger to his lips.

“Ani. I am heartbroken. I am beyond devastated. I will need time to think this through.” Padmé begun, fresh tears flowing out of her chocolate-coloured eyes.

“We will need to have so many conversations about the atrocities you’ve committed. We will need time to work on our relationship.” She continued, a hand resting on her baby bump as she tried to calm herself.

“But… despite all the chaos and death you’ve caused, you came back. You pushed out of that blasted darkness. You want to right all the wrongs you’ve done. You came back to me. And even if you didn’t, I would never, ever stop believing that there is good in you. Yes I am disgusted by the things you did. But that wasn’t you. You were manipulated, poisoned. I forgive you. I love you, Anakin. Not that shell of a man you became.”

Anakin blinked slowly. He then blinked rapidly. He could not process the fact that Padmé forgave him. And still loved him with all her giving, generous heart. He could not process that there would still be the one person that he loved so deeply by his side in the challenging days to come.

“I don’t know what to say. Or do. I…I love you so much.” Anakin sobbed, glancing down in shame.

“I love you too, Ani.” Padmé smiled softly, reaching for Anakin’s gloved hand and placing it on her swollen stomach. They both giggled as they felt an aggressive thump against the soft fullness of Padmé’s stomach.

“Promise me that you will never go to the dark side again.” Padmé exclaimed hopefully a moment later, breaking the connection between their hands and laying a hand to Anakin’s chest.

“I promise.” Anakin vowed, intending to spend the rest of his life amending for his dark deeds.

“Good.” Padmé sighed contentedly, before her hand slid onto Anakin’s cheek.

Hesitantly, Anakin leaned closer to his witty, welcoming wife. He was debating whether or not he was safe enough to be around her.

As if reading his thoughts, Padmé rolled her eyes lovingly before gently pressing her lips against his.

Anakin’s savoured her sweet, fruity perfume scent and the familiar warmth that came every time they kissed one another.

He realised that this moment symbolised that, in a galaxy falling apart, there was still hope for a brighter future for his child and all civilisations.

He just had to trust the light side of the Force and focus on the deep love he could not contain for his wife and child.

Sifo-Dyas does not take on Padawans lightly. It's a responsibility that comes with all the complications of raising and teaching a sentient through their species' puberty and with his... condition, such a thing is difficult to do without having to, on occasions, lean on his Padawan for support. It could cause the young Padawan trauma, but neither could Sifo-Dyas take on a Padawan also prone to Visions as he was.

So no, Sifo-Dyas does not take on Padawans lightly.

But the Force wills him to take on a Padawan—to take on an Initiate all others have been balking at since they found out about the Initiate's less-than-Jedi mindset and inclinations and the status of his past life. Now, Master Yoda does get along splendidly with said Initiate and Sifo-Dyas imagines that there is no risk to him being sent to one of the Corps, but Sifo-Dyas already knows as well as the rest of them that Yoda is not the best choice for this boy's Jedi Master.

Which is why Sifo-Dyas asked for Dooku's assistance, just briefly. His longtime friend looked rather curious at Sifo-Dyas' insistence to head to the crèche, but relented and assisted him on his way there, only stopping once for a Vision of a time long gone before continuing.

And there sat the Initiate. Xanatos du Crion, formerly known as Darth Vanitas—at least, according to Feemor, who seemed bewildered by the question—sat with a slant line for a mouth, absently flipping through the pages of a book on... ah, Jedi Ethics, Sifo-Dyas pities the former Sith Lord for having Jedi Ethics piled on him every free moment.

Dooku finally asks why it is Sifo-Dyas needed to go to the crèche so badly, and when Sifo-Dyas informs his friend and the crèchemaster that he's here to choose his next Padawan, he gracefully ignored the surprise radiating off of the both of them.

The crèchemaster recovers quicker—it's more than likely that xe's much more used to having unexpected Jedi showing up to unexpectedly lay claim to a new Padawan—and xe gives him a smile and a nod. "Of course," xe says, turning xer back to Xanatos and towards all of xer other charges and gestures to them.

Sifo-Dyas is already shaking his head and meets the eyes of the former Sith Lord, who'd looked up in curiosity, seemingly despite himself.

Xanatos shows a proficiency in the dark side even still and he doesn't assimilate well with the other Jedi in the Temple. Anyone else would assume he's biding his time, but he's clearly just bored with all of the proceedings. He's been... nice, Sifo-Dyas supposes, in his own way, and he's extremely close to three other Padawans—Feemor Sylo, Shaak Ti, and Taron Malicos—and seems to behave himself.

Nobody else would take him, but Sifo-Dyas knows he can be trusted with quite a lot. Already, he's handled extremely sensitive things with great care and discretion.

"Actually," Sifo-Dyas says gently to the crèchemaster who looks at him in surprise, "I already knew who I was coming here for."

He ignores the Initiates whispering at seeing such a well-known Master who's hard to impress come into the crèche, pass them all over, and walk confidently towards the Sith Lord that calls himself their crèchemate.

"Initiate du Crion," he greets warmly.

Xanatos' eyes flicker with surprise before the Initiate straightens himself out, pushes the book to the side, and greets, ever so politely but not managing to hide his genuine surprise and curiosity, "Master Sifo-Dyas."

"I would like to take you on as my Padawan, Initiate," Sifo-Dyas says.

The flecks of gold in Xanatos' otherwise red eyes does not make the sudden calculation of his gaze and less unnerving, but the sudden wariness does. Sifo-Dyas can't say he knows of this Initiate's experiences with Masters—only that he must have had a Sith Master who must not have been kind to him. There have been a few Jedi Knights and Masters who attempted to take on Xanatos as well, only to be turned away after Xanatos unhesitatingly revealed they desired to be Sith.

The people in the crèche seem to hold their breath. They know just as well as Sifo-Dyas why many approach Initiate du Crion and why many no longer try.

There is a moment of brief silence from Xanatos before he demands, "Why?"

Sifo-Dyas smiles at him. It doesn't seem to catch him off guard. "It is the will of the Force that you become my Padawan," Sifo-Dyas says. "That, and I feel as though you should have a Master suited for understanding unconventionally gained knowledge."

Xanatos seems to pause at this. It's clearly not an answer he's been given before, and his eyes only narrow more. He doesn't know if Sifo-Dyas is telling the truth and this is fair. Too many still desire the power and rush that the dark side will give them and to have a Sith Lord in this very crèche proved to be too much for their desires.

The pause lasts longer this time, and there is quiet consideration before Xanatos says, "I'd like to meditate with you before I decide."

Sifo-Dyas gives Xanatos an approving look—there is the acclaimed intelligence and cunning many laud him for. It's not uncommon for Initiates uncertain about their possible Master to request mediation with them, but many Initiates don't know how to gather intelligence through it.

"Of course. Shall we head to the Garden?" Sifo-Dyas prods.

Xanatos carefully sweeps his eyes over the room in a calculated display of nervousness. Then he says, "If you wouldn't mind, Master Sifo-Dyas."

Yes, Sifo-Dyas thinks, the Force is more than correct about this one.

Okay I love the fanon Dooku and Obi-Wan dynamic and all of them getting along and being a great master and Padawan pair.

But consider...

Au where for whatever reason Dooku has to take on Obi-Wan's apprenticeship and they absolutely hate each other.

Dooku (68 and trying to get seduced to the dark side): are you going to tattle to the council again?

Obi-Wan (19 and not having it): are you going to drop protocol and try to choke someone out with the Force again?

Like Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon always had their moments of friction but the level of ice that can develop between Dooku and Obi-Wan is legendary.

Obi-Wan: Master I don't think siding with capitalists and billionaires will help the people of this planet like you think it will.

Dooku: the red tape of the republic-

Obi-Wan: is there to ensure walkways have guard rails. Do you see a guard rail here? If knighthood doesn't pan out I'm applying for a job with Space OSHA.

Dooku: Padawan the Jedi are the attack dogs of the Senate.

Obi-Wan: hey I am not the one using the force to choke people on my missions. I use my words. I think you'll find you're the one attacking--

Dooku: are you ever going to let that go?

Obi-Wan: of course Master! I know how to let go! Unlike you when you're crushing someone's windpipe!

Dooku: why you little-

Obi-Wan: *choking sounds*

Mace: you've been together for a month, surely this is just a rocky first step.

Dooku lifts his arm, Obi-Wan is biting him hanging off by his teeth: I'm going to level with you Master Windu. I was considering leaving the Jedi and joining a Sith Lord who plans to destroy the Jedi and take over the galaxy, but now my only desire is to get as far away from Obi-Wan Kenobi as I can and never speak to him again.

SITS AU drabble because I like Anakin but hate what he did to the Tuskens.

Anakin Skywalker is dead. But so is the monster that came after him.

He doesn't know whether the timeline the son showed him ever happened or if he lived it and made those decisions, it doesn’t matter. There is still blood on his hands from the murder of the Tuskens. His soul was still darkened. Sidious had still groomed him from the age of nine.

There is nothing he can do to make up for it. There is no washing away that blood. There is only acknowledging it, seeing what he has done, and trying to better the universe as penance, penance that will never matter or make up for it. Anakin- Vader-... he'll address this later … The half-force being knows where to start.

LU Star Wars AU: Part 3

Got a theme of noncanon characters for this one, this time we have Spirit and Warriors! (It doesn't feel right having a Star Wars AU without including Spirit)

Spirit

Spirit isn't actually related to Wind, but the two of them are so alike in appearance that many mistake them for twins. While Wind loves to pilot, Spirit's interest lies more in tinkering directly with the spacecraft itself. He personally works on Tetra's, Linebeck's, and Wind's ships, and ended up also working as a mechanic for the Alliance for a brief time before moving on.

Spirit has had his own adventures with Spectre (AKA his Zelda); he is one of the rare few people alive to venture into the chaotic Unknown Regions of the galaxy without a wayfinder or star compass and return to tell the tale. That adventure involved an encounter with a ghostlike being named Malladus.

Spirit is also especially in tune with the Force and spirits, just like Wind. He also has some skill with a blaster, and is extremely handy in space combat, but he has no interest in combat and would rather work on his personal projects and ship designs. His personal favorite is a prototype set of powered armor he designed for Spectre, but unfortunately it got wrecked in the encounter with Malladus.

Warriors

Warriors is an active military captain in the Alliance. He is also a close friend of Artemis, who is a high ranking general and a current member of the Imperial Senate. Their home planet has widespread anti-Imperial sentiments and secretly hosts a base for the Alliance, and Artemis does her best to keep it hidden from Imperial eyes.

Warriors actually inherited his saber from his mother, a former Jedi Knight from the days of the Jedi Order, and was taught how to wield it by her before she passed. He grew up on stories of the old Order and is determined to uphold the legacy of being a Jedi Knight. Part of that is looking out for his men and protecting those who can't protect themselves, and protecting Artemis in her efforts with the Alliance.

He has a certain amount of pride in that legacy and the skills and stories he was taught. He quickly rose to the rank of Artemis's personal knight, and his achievements make him stand out among Alliance forces. It took a few particularly close calls with Imperial Forces to temper his pride.

One of those encounters involved a Sith Lord named Cia, whose attention he unwittingly caught. The only reason he escaped alive was due to someone named Lana, who he later learned was Cia's twin sister. Cia still has a one-sided obsession with Warriors in particular and is determined to hunt him down.

Warriors has also met plenty of people across the galaxy during his time with the Alliance; among these people were Wind and Spirit. Wind had a brief stint with Warriors as a pilot and Spirit ended up tagging along for the ride.

I've been a little slow on getting out new STAR WARS fic recs out, but in my defense it's because I've been reading a bunch of longer fics lately. In the spirit of "there's a special feeling to those fics that consume you and make you stay up until 3am because you can't put them down", here's a list of some of the ones I've loved or am in the middle of reading and they are haunting my thoughts and I need to inflict that on everyone else.
