I'm making this post to hopefully spread more information on Tumblr (because I see a lot more on Twitter/X) about the ongoing genocide of the Palestine people so please don't just look at the art take the time to read through the articles and directly go to the threads/posts I'll be linking. Also, including a thread about the KOSA act that's trying to be passed in the US; supporting Palestine or anything, for that matter, will become near impossible if we don't take it seriously.

Hey there, just me. Back again. Asking for help because we had unexpected expenses (car repairs) come up and my husband’s paycheck wasn’t as big as we were expecting (mostly due to customer surveys dictating his paycheck, but that’s a whole other headache). Anyway, grocery and toiletry items would be very much appreciated and help us out this month while we try and recover from being a few hundred dollars short. All the bills are paid, we just had to dip into our grocery fund to cover them. Obviously, you aren’t obligated, I just figured it couldn’t hurt to ask. Thank you so much!

So we found out more information regarding hubby’s paycheck:  The reason it wasn’t as big as we were expecting was that the company he works for ‘forgot’ to include his bonuses. Both the last check in December (The Christmas Check) and this past one we got in January.  I felt like I was going crazy wondering how we’d botched everything so badly, when it wasn’t even our issue to begin with!  Of course, we have no clue when that money will be given to us, hopefully on the next paycheck on the 20th, but we don’t really know.  :|

All this to say, I had $40 to spend on groceries to last us til the 20th when (hopefully?) all of the bonuses will be given to us with that paycheck. If you can give this a share because it’s got lots of grocery items I can’t afford right now, and it would help us out immensely.  (I’ve got a 13yo, an 11yo, and a 9yo eating everything in sight).  Please and thank you so so much! <3 <3 <3 (especially if you’ve already bought something because it’s taken a load off knowing there are some things I won’t have to worry about not having in the coming weeks)

Another update: we won’t be getting the bonuses on the paycheck on the 20th, but definitely on the Feb 5 paycheck. So, we will likely need some more help with groceries until then.  If anyone is able to even share this post, it would help us immensely! Thank you so much!

Getting Back On My Soapbox

OK so the Hollywood strike is still going and shows no signs of stopping. If you have at any point over the past 100+ days wondered how you can help here's how!

There's a new fund that supports PAs aka Production assistants. PAs are the backbone of any set, they are over worked underpaid and more often than not treated poorly by people on set, and not just the execs but other crew members. As many funds as there are to support people in the entertainment industry almost none of them aid PAs and the ones that do only aids PAS based in LA or NY and we work/live all across the country.

Go for PA's Alliance is the only one dedicated to helping PAS.

This fund is the first of its kind and is entirely donation based and since they just started, they don't have nearly as much to work with as other funds out there so if you can please please donate!! And if you can't donate then share with everyone you know. Don't just like this post reblog it so other people see it. Send it in your group chats and discord servers, send out an email blast, post on your insta get this in front of as many eyes as possible. Please we need all the help we can get.
