Today’s episode was really interesting in the sense that the Bad Batch were born and raised as soldiers. Not boys or teens. It shows because Omega grew up in a different environment than them. First off, she seems to know waaay too much, which means she actually had some inkling about what went on behind the scenes. Besides that, I absolutely love how the fact that Omega isn’t a soldier gets highlighted by Cut. He’s such a GREAT DAD and I love it.
Hunter: What were you doing out there?! Do you realise that you could have been killed?!
Cut: Easy. She’s not a soldier.
Hunter took the offense. He wanted to know a reason as to why Omega would go beyond the fence because that’s what would happen among his brothers. They’d scold each other, even if it meant bringing about negative feelings of shame and regret. What he looked for was a straight answer even though the situation required none.
