With your back to the door you can't see the way your daughter stares at you, her wings twitching in anticipation as she creeps forward, intent on pouncing on you ㅡ

And then there's an arm being slung around her middle, lifting her up and away. "Daddy," Aria whines in protest as Azriel adjusts his hold on her. "Put me down, I wanna see mommy."

"Mommy is sleeping," Azriel tells her, watching the miniature version of a very familiar pout pull at Aria's features. For all the ways she looks like him, Aria also looks and acts like you. Adjusting his hold on her, Azriel sweeps hair from her face as she stares at you.

"Is mommy sick?" Aria's voice is quiet, concerned ㅡ and Azriel would be too, if he hadn't caught that soft, sweet scent on you again a couple of days ago.

"Mommy's okay, baby." Your voice gets the attention of them both as you sit up, and Aria makes a noise of delight as Azriel lowers her into your waiting arms. "We have a question for you, though." Nestled in your arms, Aria seems to take the question very seriously, her little features scrunching in thought before she throws her arms around you and snuggles into your chest. "Both!"

Azriel chokes, and you laugh. "I don't know about that, baby," you say as you sweep your fingers through her curls.

"Both," Aria huffs, sounding so adamant that all you do is snuggle her to you.

He smiled at her with those sex eyes of his. Yes, he's giving them to her and not you. Atsumu makes everything so hot and cold, it's hard to tell with him.

She giggles and he laughs too, entertaining her for some pussy. The 'why' is something you will never understand, not when you've had that man down on his knees, eating you out like he was on death row and you were his last meal.

Your hope is that both of their stupid asses feel your heated glare towards them. They don't notice it though, mainly because you're best friend pulls you out of your thoughts.

"The sooner you get over him the sooner my life becomes easier." Your best friend jokes. Their attempts at lightening your mood are ineffective. How could you be in a better mood when the man of your dreams only wants sex from you? You want him, badly, but he doesn't want you.

This was something you were aware of before sleeping with him. Yet, you took it lightly, and now here you are, pouting over him being with another girl.

Those eyes, so pretty and brown draw you in to him. Also his muscles are just right, he's not too buff but he's also not thin to the point you can't see anything.

"Yeah, it's called improving. I really hope you didn't think you'd get through college with a pretty face and money. College isn't just one big party. At least not for me." You lecture and Atsumu listens, he always listens.

"For starters I do my work now, I ain't slept with a teacher since freshman year which was almost two years ago. Thank you very much." He replies to the shade you send his way.

"Anyway, what is it that you wanted?" You ask with a sigh.

"Just tired is all." Atsumu's eyes narrow at your response. Why'd you think you could lie to one of the biggest liars you know?

"The way ya were acting today wasn't as much 'oh gee im tired' but more like 'my sweetie pie tsumu-bear hasn't been paying me any attention.'"

"If you knew, then why where you trying to force it out of me?" You roll your eyes and look back to your phone as to avoid his gaze and your embarrassment.

"I just wanted to hear ya say it because yer so cute." Atsumu is going to be the death of you. He annoys you to no end.

"Just so ya know, I ain't been sleepin' with anyone besides you, sweetheart."

"How do I know you aren't a big fat liar?" The way he smiles when you hiss at him has your heart melting. Why? Why you?

"I'd be an idiot to sleep with someone else when I got the most beautiful girl in my bed all the time." It's so sweet and sincere, his voice is honest you can tell. It feels like a weight has been lifted off your chest, and that Atsumu shaped hole in your heart is slowly being filled.

"Yeah? What're you trying to say, Tsumu?" You peek up from your phone screen to look at his dark eyes. It catches you off guard slightly, the way he looks at you, like you put the stars in the damn sky.

"I knew ya were kinda clueless but this is something else. I want ya to be my girl."He clarifies and you stop breathing for a second. When you'd fantasize about this you'd never thought his confession would be calm. Atsumu is loud and obnoxious, so this quiet, calmness has caught you off guard.

"Is that a question or a demand?" You ask.

"Not a question, m'already confident in ya wanting me." He's prideful and sometimes it sucks but right now.. it's so hot.

"Okay then, I'm yours." You whisper quietly trying to grasp what you've just said.

"Good, best decision you'll ever make, cupcake." Cockiness is laced in his tone and you roll your eyes.

"I said to stop calling me that," You finally drop your gaze back to your phone, but you aren't even paying attention to the dimly-lit screen. Your brain is exploding right now.

"You're my man now." It finally registers.

How do you think AFO would be taken out?

Hard to say! All the heroes uniting against him as ~the ultimate evil~ might seem satisfying on some level, but it also plays directly into AFO's toxic comic book narrative and it doesn’t really "engage" with his character in a totally satisfying way, if that makes sense. I'm firmly on team "afo shouldn't get what he wants, Ever" so I'm not a fan of any ending that merrily sends him off into his next life as a "demon lord" instead of actively trying to rip that mask from him. Hori hasn't really let me down on this front, yet-- and as I suspected, it does seem as though chapter 419's AFO is more or less picking up where body!AFO's character arc left off. AFO's core desires as a human and the immensely fragile "heart" he's hidden away are both things that are being directly challenged in the most recent chapter, too:

Izuku, the hero, constantly inspires others to come to his aid because he doesn't hide his humanity, his identity, or his struggles from others-- people see him fighting for his life and realize that he is "just like them," and that motivates them to rush to his side and offer help. Meanwhile, AFO finds himself completely alone because he wont let go of the demon lord role and accept his own humanity. Something something We Still Need To Know His Name smthing sm.

With all of that in mind, I still think the most appropriate way of defeating him involves forcing him to confront his own humanity + weakness in all its ugliness (which Hori has already been doing at a pretty steady rate this arc!) and ultimately forcing him to take responsibility for Yoichi's death. This might seem like a massive leap from the person AFO is right now, but depending on how things go, I do think Hori could pull it off.

Anyway, as for what I would like to see:

Personally, I would like an end where he willingly lets Yoichi go (and by proxy, finally lets Tenko go). Not because I think this would redeem him (it wont) or because I want him redeemed (i don't), but because I do feel like something along these lines would be the natural conclusion to his character arc and the best way to symbolize him accepting death/his mistakes. He came into the world desperately gripping onto Yoichi, and was unable to ever truly live or truly die due to his obsession-- so it makes sense to me that AFO will only be able to leave this world when he finally lets Yoichi go. Like.... even now, we see him stubbornly persisting with the idea of conquering the world even though he feels it's totally pointless-- with the implication that he's doing this because the demon lord role and the captain hero comics are literally the only thing he has atp that still connect him to Yoichi in some capacity.

If I end up being right and the OFA embers now exist within Tenko's body, then ideally, I still want some sort of conversation + resolution between the brothers before Yoichi finally passes on with the rest of the OFA embers. I'll admit that I've never been 100% fond of the idea of reading Izuku & Tenko's story as Yoichi/AFO's "good ending", simply because so much of Tenko's story is about reclaiming his own identity (+ detangling himself from his abusers) and so much of Izuku's story is about finding his own identity-- which is why I feel the final resolution to the OFAFO plot needs to be between AFO and Yoichi, not Izuku and Tenko.

I actually don't want Tenko to kill him! I think I've said this before, but I feel this outcome would be only satisfying to folks who want Tenko to have very surface-level revenge on his abuser w/o thinking about the effect this act would have on Tenko himself. I personally feel it wouldn't do Tenko any favors, mentally, since the crux of AFO's abuse involved convincing Tenko that he only exists to destroy. And people really hate to admit it, but-- Tenko sincerely loved AFO and I don't want him to have to repeat the tragedy of being forced to kill someone he loved all over again (even if they don't deserve that love by any stretch of the word). Like, a lot of people want Tenko to take AFO out the same way he took Kotaro out, but I feel this would only emphasize how Tenko and AFO are trapped in an endlessly repeating cycle.

side note: Kotaro coming directly from AFO's stomach/womb during the 270's vestige realm sequence feels extremely intentional now, what with the constant cannibalism and pregnancy imagery surrounding AFO and Tenko. MHA continues to be a masterful example of visual storytelling and Horikoshi continues to be a straight up freak for no real reason /positive!

A big part of Tenko's healing was always going to involve him confronting his feelings for Kotaro, specifically-- all of his love and disappointment and wishes and anger. And with that in mind, it feels like Hori is setting AFO up to act as a sort of Kotaro proxy for this next stretch of Tenko's character arc (even TomurAFO's current hairstyle and facial structure reminds me of a mix of Kotaro x AFO x Toshi.... Hori really said "Tomura's final character design is gonna be a mish-mash of every potential father-figure who has ever let him down byeeeeee :)" and he was sooooo sick for doing that wtf). Anyway, I know people like to joke about AFOtaro, but honestly, the narrative itself really does justify the read of Tenko being AFO and Kotaro's traumababy lmfao...., 😭

Also worth mentioning is that this iteration of AFO/TomurAFO has pupils, despite there being no Tenko component to his personality at this time. AFO's lack of pupils are textually/canonically meant to convey his inability to "see" others as people, so I'm very interested to see where Hori intends to take things from here.

so you were thankful he was the one showing you around, you had heard rumours of the strict 1A teacher, aizawa, and was a bit worried that he wouldn’t make you feel very welcome here. but yamada assured you that it was alright.

“aizawa’s a great guy.” he said and read over your personal information sheet as you set up your desk. “he’s just a little mean and scary, but nothing to worry about!”

“doesn’t sound very helpful…” you mumbled under your breath.

the bell rang, signalling the next period, and you let the minute of students bustling in the halls and staff leaving the room to go teach fill the air.

“no way, november 8?” yamada said and you looked towards him. he opened his mouth to continue when his focus zoned in on something past your shoulder.

he lifted his arm and smiled widely.

“shota!” yamada called, despite the fact that you two were the only ones left in the room. a tall man with dark hair looked your way.

his tired eyes held no emotion, and the way he slouched with his hands in his pockets gave an intimidating presence that didn’t fade once he stopped in front of your desk and towered over you.

his eyes stayed on you but he said nothing. your mouth dried up, not used to his scrutinizing glare.

“y/n here’s the new general studies teacher.” yamada blabbed, ignoring the awkward air. “you’ll never guess her birthday—same as yours!”

you ignored the lump caught in your throat and turned to aizawa instead.

“n-november 8?” you ask but he didn’t give you an answer. “wow, i’ve never met a birthday buddy before! high five!”

then you froze. hand held up in the air towards a person you just met, and you realized how cringy that was. but you can’t seem to say anything, or even move your arm as you just stare at him in fear.

his bored eyes traced so torturously slow up your palm that you wanted to melt away. then his piecing glance zeroed in on you, holding eye contact that just made you want to apologize profusely for even speaking to him.

but then his hand tapped yours, the soft sound of the high five echoing slightly.

“birthday buddies.” his voice was deep, the vibration of it sending a warm shiver over your entire body and erupting a relieved grin on your lips.

you distantly hear yamada behind you breaking out into a harsh snicker, but you’re too focused staring at aizawa.

A/N: gshshhshd posted part 2 to the right thing to do today and now im writing this to help the anxiety

kyle "gaz" garrick:

ok so i feel like gaz is a little bit of a nerd/geek

so he enjoys getting little figurines/action figures of characters from shows/movies/games he likes

think like funko pops

he likes to set them up along his desk in his room

and sometimes he pretends they're watching him while he works

his favorite candy to get in his stocking is peanut m&ms

he's just a fan of all kinds of peanut chocolate candies and i can't even blame him

peanut m&ms slap

in terms of getting things for other people

gaz always goes with a classic gift card

he will, however, make sure that the gift card matches with their favorite store

john price

price's favorite thing to get in his stocking is puzzle books

crossword puzzles, word searches, sudokus, riddles, etc.

anything and everything puzzle based he loves

he likes bringing them with him on missions when he has a spot of free time

they're relaxing to him and they keep his mind young

he's also insanely good at doing puzzles

but he's also had years and years of practice

he also got to go on npr and play the puzzle with weekend edition puzzle master will shortz a few years back

he also did really well and so now he never shuts up about it

whenever he pulls out his puzzle book it's followed by a comment about his time on npr

in terms of what he likes to get for other people he usually gets them candy

you know those plastic candy canes filled with different kinds of candy?

yeah price will buy like three of them for each team member and then call it a day

but of course he gets each team member their favorite candy

he also lets them get away with more stuff during the holidays

i.e. skipping chores, training, etc.

oh yeah i almost forgot this but price lives getting socks in his stocking

fuzzy socks, normal socks, thermal socks, patterned socks

he's really just a fan of socks in general

simon "ghost" riley:

ghost doesn't really have a favorite thing to get in his stocking

but his favorite thing is always whatever you get him

even if it's something stupid or small

one time you got him a customized pocket knife and he's kept it with him ever since

but usually he enjoys whatever little knick knacks people put in his stocking

and in general the stuff he gets are more practical then sentimental

and oml when it comes to things ghost gets for other people

ghost is actually insane at gift giving it's unreal

everything that everyone else likes? that's exactly what he gets them

part of it is because he's so observant he can always tell what people enjoy

and the other thing is that he's so good at reading people he knows exactly how they feel about the gifts they get

but like ghost is the kind of guy to get you smthing you mentioned back in january

and he always makes sure to get exactly what people want, even if it's super inconvenient for him

it's hard for ghost to be vulnerable and so giving these little stocking stuffers which are traditionally seen as sorta trivial lets him show everyone in the team just how much he loves them without making a big deal out of it

john "soap" mactavish:

ok before we get to soap's favorite stocking stuffers here's his least favorite stocking stuffer

every year, everyone on the team gets him soap for his stocking stuffers

sometimes it's a bar of soap, sometimes it's three in one, one time someone got him a soap from lush (he actually really enjoyed it)

so every christmas season soap gets way too many soaps than he needs

usually he sends most of them to a local shelter and then keeps one for himself

now onto his favorite stocking stuffer

i feel like soap is actually an avid collector of lighters

but not normal lighters like novelty lighters

so like lighters with cool colored flames or cool shapes

everyone on the team knows about his collection so they're always on the lookout for cool lighters when they're on missions

so as a result he has a ton of lighters from like all over the world

i think the funniest thing is he doesn't even use them

sometimes he'll light a cigarette with them or fiddle with them but for the most part he keeps them in his room

he's very protective of them though and he doesn't let anyone use it without permission

rodolfo "rudy" parra:

rudy's favorite thing to get in his stocking is mini lego sets

and yes he like big lego sets for his actual gifts too

he's liked legos ever since he was a little kid so it only makes sense

he likes getting the mini holiday sets but he also likes getting those minifigure sets where you try and get all of the characters

he also composes a year long list every year of sets that he wants

he really likes the lego technic car sets too

in terms of what he gets other people

he'll usually make something homemade for them

like cookies or smthing

and then he makes key chain minifigures of them and puts them in their stockings

and they're like surprisingly accurate

it's very very cute

most team members keep them on their key rings or in their bags

he makes new ones every year and he'll even custom make faces and clothes to make them accurate

alejandro vargas:

alejandro's favorite thing to get in his stocking are hygiene products

i know that sounds weird but lemme explain

by hygiene products i mean grooming stuff, face masks, etc.

i feel like alejandro is the kind of guy who isn't scared to pamper himself and take care of his skin/body

so whenever christmas comes around he always asks for skin care/hair care stuff

he always tries to get the rest of the team to join him and he can usually get most of them on board

all of them except ghost of course

but soap, rudy, price, gaz, and him will always have a spa day/hair day after christmas

when it comes to getting other people stuff alejandro likes getting them skincare too

this way when they have their spa day everyone has facemasks and hair products, etc to use

nobody knows how but alejandro is actually really good at knowing what kind of skin everyone has

and he always gets them products aligned with their skin

but along with skincare he also gets everyone cash for the stockings

usually around $25-$35 for each person

Mmm, it can be tough right? There’s a few things that are important for me personally in keeping a healthy fandom experience.

For one, I have a real solid believe in how I see all members and how they interact amongst themselves. That allows me to cut through the bs fandom brings real quick and I just block or unfollow people who are just plain hateful. I don’t think members are beyond fault or discussion, but there’s a real difference in discussing matters with the intent to understand a situation, or discussing matters with the intent of stirring shit up. I always pay attention to the way people word their asks or posts a post/tweet. The words they use are most of the time an indicator of how they feel. I just don’t follow people who are hateful and I’ll block people who repeatedly come to me with hate.

I don’t visit twitter much. Only when something happens and I want to keep up. I get send a lot of tweets and those I’ll look up, but I don’t treat twitter as a reliable source without a second thought. Twitter is too loud for me, too fast paced. I like to give things a bit of thought.

I don’t visit blogs I know will set me off if I feel my mindset isn’t right for it. There’s times I can take a bit of nonsense (and I do like to keep up with fandom as a whole) and there’s times I can’t and I’ve learned to just not go there at the wrong times. It’s not like missing out on the negativity is a bad thing 😂. I think that why I like tumblr more than Twitter, because here I can choose the amount of negativity, while twitter just throws it in my face.

I have some people I vent to in my chats (thanks! I won’t name them in case of anti’s 😬) which helps.

And very important, I have a great real life/fandom balance.

I do get vexed, absolutely I do! You will have seen me rant on here. And seriously, a few weeks ago (when the shenanigans happened) this was not a great space for me. But, I know those things are temporary and (!) I always have the option to step out for a while if I need to. If fandom gets too hard, take some time away. You won’t actually miss much, though it might feel like it, and you’ll be able to catch up later if you feel like it.

Hello! First off, I'd love to blame you for my Law (and subsequently my corazon) brain rot recently!

Second, I have been thinking about migraines (I have my own of course) and how one of the main stressor for one is well... stress, lack of sleeeeep and such. Which, I am pretty sure law checks all sorts of boxes for.

What is reader tried to help law with a migraine that he was trying to ignore (because there are things to do) and of course made it worse? My grandma used to press this spot on my forehead that would be remarked as around like the 3rd eye area then rub at the base of my skull and lift my head up at the same time. It'd often crack and it'd be like immediate relief with both combined.

I'm sorry if I worded that weird or didn't make sense! 😅 also! Thank you for letting me send it to your asks, I saw that your stuff is supposed to be closed. 💜

Merlin (The one from Touhou because why not, also needed a trumpet musican) as John Dick (The paratroopa that plays the trumpet on Starmans Slaughter)

(I selected them because they relate to the void + has some story (?) value, like Sarah creating Content Cosmos).

Basically Rob put Gumball in a void where there are multiple universes that are virtual and are like a hallucination that he will never escape.

I mean, there are some characters that are from the real universe. But most of them are variations created by Rob, Molly or Sarah.

Facts:

This place can get acceced via email (thanks to Timmy a.k.a. the internet)

Gumball not only got here, Darwin, Penny (and other ones I will not mention) got in it too

Molly and Sarah are colleagues, they create some new universes when they are bored or smthing lol

They were convinced to join here. Mostly because dreams of making things real (the one who agreeded most was Sarah, Molly not too much...)

Merlin is actually a plushie (that looks like her!) owned by Molly that took its own life after they got to the void. She only plays music and is also colleague from them
