three great fics to read

I’m struggling with writing lately so this weekend I caught up on some incredible fics that I think my AFTG friends should check out!

1.  00:00 (Zero o'Clock) by shadowdreams.  This one just came out, and it is as close to perfect of a fic I’ve ever read.  The build up through the different POVs is both hilarious and so so accurate.  Also, you want pining?  This has it in spades.  Delightful from start to finish.

2.  I'm No Good Tonight by likearecord.  Technically I read this like a week ago but I have been thinking about it since.  I feel like I mostly read AUs lately, but this post-canon fic is absolutely glorious, introspective and raw and healing.

3. caught by a low moon by scribbleb_red.  Ok so I did some cheerleading on this fic, but I swear I’m not biased - it is beautiful.  The entire atmosphere is so gorgeous, the environment is palpable, the tension between Jean and Jeremy is delicious.  It’s still posting, but if you want a sun-drenched beach atmosphere with angry pining and enemies-to-lovers, here you go!

Miranda went quiet watching the man out of the corner of her eyes, uncomfortable with the obvious attention that he was paying them. The man sat down but didn’t stop his staring as his date tried to reclaim his attention. Neil tried to shake it off, but his limited patience was already being pushed.

“Do I know you?” Neil snapped at him when he could no longer bite his tongue.

The blonde looked him in the eyes blandly, unimpressed with his outburst. “I don’t know, do you?”
