Summary: They’re walking side by side, crowded on the too small pavement. The hum of the late-September air rustling the leaves and pushing them both along. There’s music faraway and hushed, floating through someone’s window, too quiet to place but Remus focuses on it instead of their boots echoing off the concrete and Sirius’ breathing, skittered and offbeat from his own. The sun is setting, the lamplights along the pavement lighting every fifteenth square in a sickly yellow glow. Everytime they pass under one, the light creates shadows on Sirius’ face. Remus tries not to notice the long, spindly shadows of his eyelashes, the accentuated concave of his cheekbone, and the way the light envelopes the tips of Sirius’ hair in gold, embers around black, like he’s on fire. But Remus has never been good at ignoring Sirius— even now, with anxiety filling his stomach like rainwater and a fit of pique low and twisting beneath his ribs, even now, he wants to reach out and tuck a strand behind Sirius’ ear, let himself be burned.

Comments: I was a little bit in before I realized this was a high school au, which usually doesn’t interest me, but by then I was already hooked. The friendship, the pining, the characters (another great Lily!) - all perfect. It actually had me giggling at the cuteness on display. Something in the way this author writes had me so invested in the story, too; I’ll definitely be reading more of their works.

And so that day Geralt and Jaskier ended up fighting, Geralt ended up failing the exam along with Lambert, and now Eskel and Jaskier went for ice cream.

Adriana got detention for clocking Ana Flores in the face who was talking shit and spreading rumors about Sophia and her friend Shannon behind their backs. Unfortunately for her, Adriana stood right behind her at one of such speeches. Ana’s permanently crooked nose will forever remind her to keep her opinions to herself.

Buck got detention for filling Taylor Kelly’s locker with sewer water balloons after she posted an article about his friends Hen and Chimney with a story of an incident that happened at their previous school between them and some kid named Jonah Greenway who’s in a juvie now.

Buck and Adriana hit it off fast and soon became best friends. Her older brother was really grumpy about that.

Eddie is really suspicious of this Buckley kid, who after Adriana’s fight with some snooty brat, hangs out now with his sister all the damn time. Like, what are his intentions, huh? Like hell he will allow them sit in Adriana’s room with a closed door, nah-ah. No, sir! Not on his watch.

Never mind that Adriana was not interested in relationship with anyone. That’s just how she is.

Never mind that Buck gives Eddie, as Adriana likes to call them, stupid heart eyes every time they saw each other.

Percy Jackson AU where all of the foxes are demigods, Andrew meets Neil shortly after his mom dies, and joins him on the run instead of going back to camp. Part one spans from their first meeting to their first kiss; Part two will take place a few years later, when certain circumstances force them to return to camp, and Andrew has to deal with what he left behind, on top of their current problem. While both fics should be able to be read individually, it does make more sense if you read them in order :)

He is starting to feel like one of Renee’s hunters, when Andrew is pretty sure the nasty scorpion-cats should want to kill him more then he wants to kill them.  Or, Andrew expected to find all sorts of things on his first quest. He didn’t expect a twitchy, blue-eyed half-blood with monsters on his heels, and he surely didn’t expect to fall in love with him.

He also has a scarred little shithead in tow, that Aaron wants to punch in the face regularily. Life is fun like that.

“I asked Sakuya to help me stitch my bow onto this thing so that people will know it’s me. I would’ve asked Alice, but even just saying hi to her today she looked like she wanted to scream. I didn’t wanna spend too much time putting something bigger together. That’s not really my thing.”

As she speaks, some crinkling sounds can be heard from underneath the sheet before she pulls it up a bit. Out sticks out her hand holding a lolipop shaped like a white fox head. One of the many designs that the Hakurei shrine had been handing out this year for Halloween. Thankfully they allowed Reimu to take some to give to her friends.
