I love them. I really do. I fully support that being the canon ship (I will love Malira in the privacy of my own head aka this Tumblr page XD). <3 <3 <3

THE WAY THEY JUST UNDERSTAND EACH OTHER AND HAVE EACH OTHER'S BACKS I CANNOT WITH THEM!!! <3 <3

The fact that they both look at Braeden at the SAME TIME with the EXACT same head turn movement (it's a little thing, but it's a BIG THING to me! <3 <3).

The fact that Scott starts to panic slightly because he doesn't know what to do, and Stiles recognizes that immediately.

The fact that Scott looks to Stiles for a solution, and Stiles already has one for him.

The fact that Scott looks at him in surprise and immediately says "not without you" because that means leaving his best friend stranded and, more importantly, not having him at his side and he hates that.

The fact that Stiles immediately comforts Scott by more or less reminding him that he has a better shot of finding Derek than the rest of them do and telling him that he'll do everything he can to keep the rest of the pack safe and get things figured out.

The fact that Scott has so many reservations about this and clearly hates this plan and is so close to saying no again.

The fact that Stiles gives him that little encouraging pat on the chest and gestures him to Braeden so that they can leave on time.

The fact that only after much support and encouragement from Stiles is Scott finally able to decide that it's okay to keep going without the rest of the pack.

I JUST LOVE THEM SO MUCH I CAN'T STAND IT!!

Did I way overanalyze that scene? Yes.

Do I care in the slightest? Absolutely not.

Is that 20-second-scene going on my "Best Sciles Moments" list? YOU BET!!

I seriously cannot believe there was ever a time where I didn't have Sciles in my life, because IT'S SERIOUSLY AMAZING!!!

Anyways...

I don't love that Scott is more or less going off on his own to try to find Derek and potentially face Kate, and I REALLY don't love that the rest of the pack is stranded in the desert that will apparently get more dangerous at night right after being hit/attacked by something, but it's FINE. They wouldn't kill anyone in the season premiere...right?

ANYWAYS.

(I couldn't find the Sciles scene because NOBODY EVER GIFS THESE LITTLE SMALL SCILES MOMENTS THAT I ADORE, but I will happily take the Scira hug gif. <3 <3 <3 <3)

If you could magic a Scira fic into existence without writing it, what would it have?

oh op you don't even know how much i think about this

ok so you would think that

in the near decade since kira was first introduced

during which scira were also a couple

and were a couple for 3-4 seasons, depending on how you count it, the longest of any scott ship either way

there would be at least one completed endgame scira-centric with a happy ending longfic.

there is not.

not even one.

and when i say longfic, i'm putting the bar so low. like, i would count a mere 10k.

now there are incredibly good unfinished works like Lightning Crashes, my most beloved fic by @bigskydreaming, or a handful of kira/scira-centric longfics that have bittersweet-to-sad endings, like @krasavik's the sacred hour.

but none that are both scira-centric and scira-endgame/happy-ending and that makes me 1)sad and 2)potentially over the moon if anyone wished to remedy this<3

Lost of works to explore and plus there’s so many head canons that you can get lost and have a whole day to fill. 😂 they finished the show too. I will add that. Some shows get canceled.

A head cannon you weren’t sure about at first but you have come to like?

Liam not being able to cook. It sounds silly but at first I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt and I enjoy the thought of Theo being the cook and perfectionist with it.

Derek Hale. LISTEN. Don’t come for me. Originally I didn’t like Derek because he was mean to Scott at first and I didn’t like how he threw Isaac out of the loft with no place to go. 😤 however, I’ve come to the conclusion through the fandom that he has grown and he went through a lot. He also did come back to help Scott.

SPOILERS!!!!!!! Unorganized Teen Wolf movie review basically

I actually... really liked it??? Like it's not that good but I enjoyed watching it! A lot of parts were genuinely funny and the plot was like passable! (Quite a few unanswered questions tho)

There were some things I found confusing or weird, like idk wtf Harris had against the pack (his reveal was funny af tho) and a few other things, but they were mostly just because of the lack of Stiles, Kira, and and Isaac

The Kira 'stand in' girl (I think her name was Hikari??) Was pretty cool, obviously sucks that Kira herself wasn't there but that's a whole different conversation 👀

Honestly, as a huge Stydia shipper I was hoping they wouldn't break them up and just have him like watching their kids or something (I think I saw a funny post of that once) but they way they broke them up? Not actually that bad? Like Lydia left him because she loved him and I was just worried that they wouldn't love each anymore so I'll take what I can get! Tho not expanding on the dreams she was having is a bit of a lost thread, but since it wasn't really apart of the main story, I'll let it slide lol.

I did not like how they just pretended Issac didn't exist, that was pretty fucked up. Like I predicted that Scott and Allison would get back together by the end, but damn rip Isaac for real 😔

Anyways, about Derek's death... Honestly, since I wasn't taking the movie that seriously in the first place, I didn't really feel anything about Derek dying? Like don't get me wrong, I love the man and if they killed him off in the actual show I'd be bawling, but the movie to me is just a silly little suggestion to canon than law. There's real canon, fanon, and the third secret canon that lives inside my brain ☺️

But like, I don't really care that he died in the movie, I was just surprised tbh. Rip king you deserved better 🙏 (I don't understand how he just like, disappeared, after being burnt?? Like maybe I didn't notice it but his body was gone like huh???)

I never liked Scott and Malia together so I'm glad they broke up, but Malia and Parish was weird as hell and was just so random. I think that ever since Malia and Stiles broke up the writers just couldn't figure out what to do with her? Which is a total shame cause Malia is queen. But none of her relationships post stiles make sense or work out so rip (I do love me some stlia on the side ngl)

Jackson was GREAT, funny af and just like how I would imagine the redeemed adult version of the asshole from season 1, 10/10

Lots of missed opportunities for interactions, (like Liam and Mason) but it's only a 2h movie so I get it

I thought both Scott and Allison were great, tho I'm not sure how I feel about her staying alive afterwards. Plus I always shipped Scira more but you know 👀 love that Scott was the same great guy ☺️ when he hugged Chris I literally cried it was so cute 🥺

UNEXPECTED TWIST for me!!! I came into the movie, very lightly shipping Chris and Melissa, and came out of the movie shipping Chris, Melissa, and Peter 😳 I didn't expect that! But they were such a cute trio omg it was amazing

Eli was cute and I don't think that he was that much like stiles, but there obviously similarities

And Jackson and Lydia brotp??? Absolutely!!!

So that's basically it, I'll give this a solid 7/10

PS: saw some people legitimately mad that sterek didn't happen, fuck those people. You are not allowed near my blog...unless you want to send funny hate anon that I can roast

(like one person brought up the whole, sterek was "queerbaiting" thing, which is such bullshit. They literally never fucking liked each other, even platonically. I would say by the end of the show Derek just barely tolerates Stiles. The real queerbaiting was the writers being to scared to confirm that Stiles was Bi because it's ridiculous how many scenes pointed to that, especially in seasons 1-3 smh)

I might take about more later but it's bedtime!!!

SCOTT MCCALL AND HIS GIRLFRIENDS

I Hate Scallison, because they had this great great love in first two seasons then allison fell in lust with scott's friend and started dating him(i hate allison's character for that idc how or why it was written)

I Loved Scira, not a big fan but they were cute. i didn't connect much to them. maybe because Jeff didn't gave them much story/screentime. even kira's kitsune control problems were written very poorly like they just wanted to end her story? i won't say much about it because my submission box is already pouring with asshole anon. but all i can say is- it was a mess. posey and arden carried that ship with whatever was given to them. in my opinion.

At last, I FUCKING LOVE SCALIA, they are so perfect for each other. Malia's character was treated poorly when it came to stalia (sorry but why don't we talk about this more?) her whole character and it's development gets sidelined or reduced to being stiles girlfriend in s3-s5. MALIA IS AN AWESOME CHARACTER. but in 6B she finally found herself. AND then found love and a partner in scott. and same for scott. He is the alpha. he knows his role and his place in the world. But finds the support he needs in Malia. They can both fight the world. But they can conquer it when they are together. picking the other when one falls down, they are each other's strength and pillar when they need support. they are AWESOME.

Now in the movie,

i know it's been YEARS after 6B. But Bringing scallison back together won't make any sense after how they were in season 3. it will be cute, "Because i know we are gonna be together" "there is no such thing as fate" closure. but it will be weird for me to accept them together again. Especially because i was too invested in how scott story turned out through every season. scira was great but like i said i wasn't a big fan. not like scalia. scalia ending up together was perfect. the show ending with scalia was perfect.

IF they are not together for the sake of bringing back a dead ship (yes dead ship because it died long before allison did), it will be so wrong for malia to go through that again- watching her ex with someone else. right infront of her. and will be hella weird to watch scott and malia in the same room. and very sad. VERY VERY VERY SAD.

And even if we don't think about scalia, scallison back again together will make no sense whatsoever.

1.Whether I like or dislike their character

i love scott mccall more than any character from any form of media i have ever consumed. when i was 15 my family gave me teen wolf and scott mccall themed gifts and my love for him has only got stronger over the years <3 anyway enough about me. i’ve seen some people say scott being poc shouldn’t matter (esp to justify hating his character) but it does. he is from a single parent home with a mother who is a nurse and he is so committed to doing good and saving lives. here’s this teenage boy who starts the semester just wanting to make first line, to mean something, to be good at something. and he’s bitten and now he’s cursed, this isn’t what he wanted. and then suddenly someone’s trying to kill him and kill people he cares about and he has to choose every single time to do something about it. but he’s still a teenage boy and he wants to be normal and he wants to be in love and he wants to play lacrosse but things keep happening and he has to keep choosing. so scott mccall chooses, every single time, to save others. to ensure no one gets hurt if he can help it. he loves his friends and he’s also hilarious??? he makes mistakes just like anyone and everyone else in the show but that doesn’t detract from his character, it only makes it that much more compelling. i always have words for the writers of this show (🔪) and their treatment of scott and his development but at the end of the day, scott mccall is an excellent poc character and i am so grateful i started watching teen wolf so i can continue to appreciate that

2. who I ship them with

kira! scira is my teen wolf otp.

boyd! because they had so much potential and we deserved more!! boyd was robbed of his defection arc and scott deserved to hold hands with him.

allison! but in a this love was not meant to last and that’s okay kind of way

isaac! i mean who doesn’t?

3. What my favorite scene or scenes of them were

my mom does all the grocery shopping. iconic. legendaric. cannot be topped i’m sorry.

but also that ‘i want a semi-freakin normal life’ scene ✨ because #felt

and of course this scene that gave me goosebumps the first time and continues to every singleeee time: ‘what did you think we were gonna do, run?’

4. my favorite season of them(If they’re in multiple)

season 1!! if you pay attention to scott in season 1 literally everything in every other season after makes complete sense! his worldview isn’t static of course, but the foundation is pretty solid from season 1 and i love noticing how much things change and stay the same for him throughout the show.

That was certainly a ten-minute rollercoaster.

In order of events, shall we?

Okay. Love that Lydia's finally starting to use and understand her Banshee powers, and we love that Stiles is so supportive and helpful with it. Love that for them. (Though, as an aside, how come Stiles, who has normal human hearing, had to cover his ears when she screamed, but Scott, who has SUPER WEREWOLF HEARING, just winced a little? I guess maybe he hears it differently as a supernatural being. Maybe it's not as jarring. I'll allow it. XD)

THIS RUNNING BAT GAG IS MY FAVORITE THING! I LOVE THAT STILES STILL HAS THE BAT!! More importantly, I love that his reason for keeping Lydia in the car is that he only has one bat. XD

I WAS RIGHT ABOUT KIRA BEING SOMETHING! I don't know what the heck she IS, but a normal human being cannot just take on that much electricity like that and be fine, much less take out the whole power grid in the process. But she clearly likes Scott, and she didn't, like, immediately attack him after that happened, so she can be something and not be an EVIL something, right? And this also means that Scott can tell her he's a werewolf and it'll all be fine and good. RIGHT?!

That said...

WTF JUST CAME AFTER ISAAC?! DON'T HURT MY BABY!! GO AWAY!! LEAVE HIM ALONE!! WHO ARE YOU?! WHAT ARE YOU?! I DON'T LIKE YOU!! LEAVE MY BABY ALONE!! Literally the fact that even Chris was panicking because as annoyed as he might be about his daughter's interest in werewolves, he clearly does like Isaac, and he doesn't want anything to happen to him, and SOMETHING IS CLEARLY HAPPENING TO HIM GOSH DARNAT LEAVE MY BABY ALONE!

As an aside, I know there's been, like, a whole Derek and Peter side plot happening these last couple episodes, but we get so little of it each time that I don't feel like I have enough to react to lol. I'm sure our stories will collide again at some point though. For now, I know that Derek wanted to talk to his mom about something, and whatever they talked about...the answer wasn't pretty.

So anyways...yaaaay cliffhanger endings that I CAN'T SATISFY BECAUSE I HAVE CLASS TOMORROW!

Uggghhhhh.

I will 100% be watching another episode tomorrow as soon as class is done. I can guarantee you that much. (Also finals are next week and then school is done, so the odds of me finishing this show within the next couple of weeks are PRETTY high lol.)

People constantly shaming Scott and Allison for literally just moving on is really pissing me off...

There's a 4 month gap between s2 and 3, in which they don't contact each other once, and even then the entirety of s3a they are both single.

Allison moved on with Isaac. That doesn't mean she didn't love Scott. That doesn't mean she's a slut. That doesn't mean she was a bad person. It was (about) 5 months after Allison broke up with Scott! (Not to mention, Isaac spoke to Scott about Allison before anything happened - in which Scott acted unnecessary and kind of childish.)

Scott moved on with Kira (officially) in s4. Not only after Allison's death, but months later. Scott had some feelings for Allison still during s3a, even 3b, but that doesn't mean he wasn't allowed to have feelings for Kira too. But she wasn't a rebound, he didn't wait to move on out of respect or anything, it was the right time. If Allison didn't die he would still end up dating Kira. And again: that doesn't mean he didn't love her, it doesn't make him a slut and it doesn't make him a bad person.

Do try to remember that they're all still just teenagers experiencing natural teenage emotions.
