Scott and Kira just fit so well together imo. They both have (almost) the same balance between that socially-awkward, dorky sweetness and the fiercely loyal, badass butt kickery, which isn't really there with his other girlfriends.
Allison and Malia are both badass in their own right, and with everything that has been happening and Scott being forced to mature and toughen up way faster than he should, it would've been really nice for him to have a soft, sweet relationship like that.

Scott McCall Week 2023: Day 5, canon divergence
|| for @scottappreciation event
|| tags : set after season 4 finale, scott/kira, hurt/comfort(?)
Kira wraps her arms around Scott’s torso, hugging his fame close, it brings a smile to Scott’s face. Between what Kate did to both of them, he wasn’t sure he’d ever feel the warmth of her body so close to his again. He places his hands atop where hers are folded as Kira drops her head to Scott’s shoulder blade.
“The beach was a nice choice.” He comments and fights back the guilt in his throat that comes with the smell of Kira’s still blood stained skin. He wishes he could go back and help her, protect her, make none of it ever happen. But he can’t, and Scott’s learned that no amount of guilt can change that.
“It’s my second favorite thing about California.” Scott twists them till he can cock his head at Kira and watch how her lips twitch into a tired, yet full, smile.
“Second?” A gust of sea breeze brushes over both of them, Scott instinctively wraps his arms around Kira to shield her from the cold.
“You’re the first.” It’s cheesy and Scott expects a sing-song tone with it, but there’s none of it. Kira’s being fully genuine.
“But I-.” ‘I almost killed our friends, I’m the reason for all of this, I wasn’t there to protect you, I’m the reason for the horrors we’ve seen and—’ all goes unspoken. He can’t get the words to push past his throat, instead they sit painfully still, stabbing him over and over as he stares into Kira’s eyes, wanting to lean down and kiss all her hurt away. But that wouldn’t feel right, not now, not after what happened.
“But nothing. It wasn’t your fault, it isn’t. You worry too much about others.” She speaks soft if not a little sorrowful. A bordering sadness that laces the words and wraps the hand she brushes on Scott’s jaw, like a vine of ivy twisting over an old building to give it a new life, to show it’s still beautiful.
“Kira…” Scott doesn’t know what to say. He can feel the hurt his girlfriend is in, physical and emotional, it makes his body flare with protectiveness.
“I’m in my favorite place with my favorite person, after something awful happened, but I don’t want to think about that. Can we do that?” He nods easily, he’d do anything for Kira. And when she starts pulling him towards the water he’s able to momentarily forget about what they’ll eventually have to deal with.
For now, he’ll try to bask in the beauty of his girlfriends silhouette as the orange sun shines behind her, he’s able to breathe seeing it, allowing his lungs to fully inhale all the air he can. He can do this, he can be at the beach with his girlfriend as they both ignore the cuts and scars, just trying to be in love.

For me, the real end of Teen Wolf is episode 10 of season 6.
Seriously, everything was closed. Our characters finishing high school, Stydia together, Stiles and Scott passing the baton to the younger ones and finally Stiles and Scott in the jeep hearing about a dead body found in the woods. The circle was complete.
The rest is just fanfiction.
I didn't like Scott and Malia, hello Scott's wait for Kira... 🙄 Not to mention the delirium of giving them a Stydia kiss in the 6x20, which calms Scott enough for him to heal and regain his sight, all so that Alisson would be back in the movie like the ultimated great love.
Break Stydia ?! Wtf ?! I saluted the performance of the Holland Roden, but this storyline is farting. Let Lydia and Stiles be fucking happy !
Even if let's be realistic in view of Jeff's words, he will put them back together at some point or another if there is a sequel.
Derek who dies ? Damn what shit.
Anyway, for me, after the 6x10, the series is stopped. In my mind Stydia ended up happily married with children, and Scott found Kira !
I loved Allison and her relationship with Scott, but she died years ago, I cried so much for her character when she died, I regretted her, but I ended up mourning, like all the other characters ! His character was very much dead. (So is it me or did the actress have plastic surgery ?)
Anyway, The series still exists. Do not be demoralized by this stupid film.

Day 1 of Kira Yukimura appreciation week
You Came Back
Scott waits at the edge of the wide desert, just as the sun begins to scorch the broad horizon. It's fiery red's and soft golden pinks are enough to make him linger outside the car and take in its beauty.
He rubs his hands and turns around to look through the backseat window. His breath escapes him in warm clouds, and fogs up the glass, but he wipes it away and smiles down saw at the little sleeping baby, her eyes shut tightly as if in concentration and her little fists curled at her sides. She is a year old, and already she looks so much like her mother.
He won't wake her yet, the car is warm and he's not sure how long they'll be waiting.
"Scott,"
He realizes that he must have drifted off, leaning against the dusty car door.
The first thing he sees is her smile as his eyes blink open. There is dust settling around her, glowing like a halo in the rising sun.
"Kira," he whispers, and grins as he extends one hand to caress her face, "You came back."
"I missed you," she plants a kiss on his nose, then she softly presses her lips against his and he melts into the kiss. His lips are dry and chapped like the desert air, but hers are as smooth and sweet as honey.
But she pulls away and it's over all too soon,
"Alright," she says, jumping back with a smile, "Where's my baby?"
Scott chuckles and turns to open the car door. Inside the baby slept on, unphased by the rush of air as the door swung open.
"She's been sleeping through nights," Scott said. He'd never forget the first six months of waking at all hours of the night. Often getting back to sleep had been so difficult he hadn't even bothered.
When he looks back at Kira, her expression has changed. Gone is the eager smile, and in its place an acute pain. Her eyes glisten, and her lips are parted in words unspoken,
"Kira?"
Kira's hands fly to her mouth, but after a moment she finds her words,
"She's so big now," she says, her voice tremulous as she draws tentatively nearer,
"I missed her."
Behind her words are the first instants of life, the last pains of labor, and a mother's parting kisses,
"You came all this way to see her," Scott encourages her with a nod.
Kira's eyes soften, her arms go out toward the sleeping girl's face as she enters the warmth of Scott's van.
"Good morning, Keiko," she croons, and the baby girl's eyes flutter open. Kira smiles down at her as she unbuckles the baby seat, "Mama's here,"
Keiko reaches out with chubby arms, and Kira looks as if she'll melt as she takes her daughter up in her arms and holds her as tight as she dares.
A tear rolls down her cheek as she rocks gently from side to side and Keiko drifts slowly back to sleep on her shoulder.
She feels Scott's arms wrap tentatively round her waist and she leans in to him.
"I wish things were different," she says to him.
"You came back," he answers, "That’s all that matters."
They've only been standing their a few moments when they begin to feel the heat at their backs as the sun continues its steady ascent, and with only the day to spend, they don't want to waste a moment. Keiko is strapped in, and her parents are whispering to each other in the front seat, secrets and memories, and all manner of new adventures, as they drive away from the desert and the rising sun.

I literally had to pause the show so I could write this but, here is the thing: I think Skira (uh, is that the ship name?) is infinitely preferable to Scallison for one important reason: Kira understands what it’s like to be a monster.
Now, this show hammers home the point that “not all monsters do monstrous things” on multiple occasions and I love that, but the truth of the matter is, sometimes monsters have to do monstrous things just to survive. To save their friends. To save the world. And even if you know, logically, that you had to do it, when you are a loving and kind person like Scott or Kira, it feels like a black mark on your soul.
Allison, as written, could never quite understand that, not the way Kira can, not the way she does. She had black marks and years of generational trauma on her soul but if Allison wanted, she could have walked away from that life. Scott and Kira cannot walk away from who and what they are. It’s a connection that’s more important than anyone realizes, and I wish the show hadn’t treated Arden Cho so badly that we couldn’t explore that longer.
