The Manipulator's Fate

Nick didn’t die when Lucifer left him behind in the abandoned warehouse. But he spent over five years wishing he had, because Lucifer left an emptiness behind that he would do anything to fill. He has pretty much resigned himself to a life with this constant itch under his skin, a normal and boring life, when the unthinkable happens: Lucifer returns and offers him a second chance. sorry but kellys video for unborn jack was very steven universe and then the parallels just came tumbling i mean -all the pseudo parents -being a super special half human half celestial being child -mom has to give up her life for them to exist -being held responsible for their celestial parent being evil -feeling guilty/evil bc of it

but also the very home schooled (but not actually schooled at all) type of interacting with regular kids

and then theres the garnet destiel parallels and thats a whole thing! in ways you could also make rose/pearl connections and like so many different things my brain is like sparks and red string synapses firing

Needing some motivation 🙏

I’m trying to write this fanfic and not have it be yet another work in progress so:

The main *thing* (can’t think of the word) is that Lucifer sends Gabe(his little brother) to his first day of preschool. Sam is a recess supervisor and meets Luci when he comes to pick up Gabe, who somehow befriended Sams little brother Dean. They hit it off and decide to take the boys to the park. Relationship develops and so forth

I need something to keep me motivated! Cute lines I should put in, ideas for events, even cute things the little bros should do! Help me out? THANKS MY LOVES

Sometimes I feel like I am the only one who hates Lucifer and Crowley. I like the wit and sassy one-liners, and I like the actors, but I can't forget all the terrible things these two characters have done. It always upsets me when I see people demanding the boys, especially Sam, be nicer to Crowley. And it creeps me out when people call Lucifer their "smol bean". It's even worse when I come across fanfics with SamxLucifer.

But returning from the Cage with his faith shattered leaves him reeling, struggling with memories he'd thought long ago repressed and buried. At least he's got his brother and Cas, his boyfriend, to help him back to his feet. But Dean is struggling too, the Darkness looming over him, her shadow threatening to swallow the earth whole. And Cas was affected by the visit to the Cage as well, his grace changed by the strain of entering a place that was designed to weaken angels. And with all of them drowning, Sam isn't sure if they'll be strong enough to hold each other up.

Lucifer was so proud of his little brother for his first day of preschool. He had never seen Gabe so happy to wake up, the toddler quickly running to Luci’s room to wake him up at the crack of dawn. Luci had let Gabe pick out his own outfit, the little angel choosing a shirt that read “I'm an angel I swear.” and black pants, along with a pair of little sneakers Luci had bought just for his first day.

Luci walked in the front door to the pre-school, holding Gabe’s hand as they both wandered in. Gabe had been the only thing Luci had for the last 4 years and Luci wasn't sure what he was gonna do without him around during the day now. Maybe be productive but what fun was that without taking a break to watch a quick cartoon with the best thing that ever happened to him.

He kept a smile on his face as he walked Gabe to the classroom, the toddler becoming infatuated instantly with the plethora of activities going on. Lego’s there, dress up there, toy cars floating around. Even Luci was distracted by the controlled chaos until he felt Gabe hug his leg tightly, looking up at his older brother with a hint of worry.

“Are you gonna stay, Luci? And play with me?” Gabe asked, his wide eyes staring up at Luci with that same spark that had been there since the first time he opened them. Luci softly smiled and knelt down, ruffling the little boy’s hair and chuckling, trying not to show the slight amount of sadness he felt sending him off.

“No, Gabe I'm not gonna stay. You can go play with the other kids and make lots and lots of friends okay? “ Luci smiled and Gabe to reassure him and it obviously got through the 3-year-old’s head because he quickly hugged his brother goodbye and scurried off to play with monster trucks with another little boy with dark brown hair and bright green eyes. Luci was infatuated with watching his little brother and hardly noticed the teacher had approached him until she spoke.

“Don't worry, he’ll have fun here. Dean doesn't usually play with others it's nice to see him share,” She was obviously speaking of the boy Gabe was playing with. Luci smiled but with thin lips, nodding and finally standing.

“Yeah, Gabe has a way of winning people over. Just a social butterfly I guess.” He ran a hand back through his blonde hair and nodded to the teacher before beginning to walk out of the school, head down,trying to figure out if he made the right decision.
