"Congratulations on the Bill, Harry!"

Hermione grinned and enveloped him in a bone-crushing hug. Harry forced a laugh and tried to return the hug with equal enthusiasm. It was difficult with the warm hand resting just above his waistline.

Hermione pulled away, the joy on her face didn't waver as she offered a hand to his boyfriend.

Malfoy took her hand and instead of shaking it, clasped it between his fingers and brought it to his mouth for a fleeting brush of his lips on her knuckles. Hermione rolled her eyes in dry amusement. Harry faced his boyfriend just in time to see the smirk that lingered on his lips. He looked smug which wasn't new but what was new was that he looked free. As if a knot had been loosened on his handsome features. Harry tamped down the urge to think about it too much.

Hermione gave them one last smile and went over to chat with some of her colleagues.

The hand above his waistband became heavy and the thumb began running in circles that were almost frantic in their movements. Harry tamped down the urge to think about that too.

"I'd like to thank Mr. Malfoy personally. May I invite the three of you for dinner tonight?"

Malfoy dragged his gaze away from Astoria Greengrass from across the courtroom and turned to give Harry a slow, lazy grin. He opened his mouth to reply but a sudden flash of light stopped him.

"Mr.Potter! Mr. Malfoy! Don't you two look gorgeous together?"

"We do, don't we," Malfoy drawled mildly and Harry wanted to move himself away from that hand searing unwanted things on the small of his back. But he should not. This was necessary. For now.

"A picture if you please? It's not everyday that we see a Malfoy and a Potter together that too on the hearing of a Bill supporting Muggleborn orphans....."

The green of her quill as it zapped across the parchment unnecessarily was hurting Harry's eyes and not to mention the cameras. So many fucking cameras.

"Of course," Malfoy smiled confidently and that hand snaked around to grab his hip like he owned it and Harry gave up. Fuck this.

For now.

Harry smiled at the cameras to match the bright one of his boyfriend, looping his arm with his and leaning into his sturdy frame. It felt good. Just for now.

"Oh that won't do," Skeeter pouted, "do you think my readers are interested in this?" She leaned closer to whisper directly in Harry's ear, "Give us a show boys.....it's for the last time after all.... " The slimy smirk that she gave Harry made him want to sneer but he kept his smile plastered on.

He turned to his boyfriend who looked a little lost and a wee impatient that only Harry could sense.

Greengrass was looking here with a stiff, practiced smile of her own. Good, Harry thought and pulled Draco down for a kiss so hard as if to steal a stock for the days when he wouldn't be able to. Days when he'd have to make do with just the lingering, fading memory.

Draco stilled, his hand suspended it's frantic circles but Harry didn't - couldn't - stop his lips as they moved insistently over his.

.....For now.

The sound of their lips sliding and pulling mixed with the wildly flashing cameras was heady in its intensity and if not for the hand on his back Harry would have crashed to the floor long ago.

With one last lick which turned into a small nip Harry pulled away. Malfoy too looked ready to collapse, his pupils wide, eyes wider and cheeks resembling the plum robes all around. Harry wanted to kiss him again. Maybe on both his cheeks, gently, run his fingers through his blonde hair that was extra soft right after a shower. Perhaps glue that hand to his back permanently. Maybe tell him..... tell him that - that -

"Draco."

That.... "You go one. I'll handle them from here."

Malfoy stared at him for a stagnant second, the fingers above his robes digging into the thick fabric as if without the permission of its owner, searching for skin all this time but failing and before he could properly mourn the loss the hand was gone altogether.

For.... forever.

Every time I listen to Sally’s Song my heart hurts for Sally all over again

Like I’ve watched this movie so many times, I know everything turns out okay and Sally is absolutely the one and she and Jack become one of the most disgustingly adorable couples in animated movie history, but to know that Sally felt this way is just very painful?!?! The depths of her feelings and love, the equal amounts of doubt in herself and her worth!!! That’s just so awful!!! Sally deserves the world!!!

And you’re telling me this song nearly didn’t end up featured in the movie?!?! Madness!!! It’s quite possibly the most important song in the movie!!!
