Just had an itch to draw Roxanne's moms. Myriam (in red) is a dawnbringer and ancient paladin for Lathander. Sacha (in green) is an apothecary and wildfire druid. Both are shifters (cross fox and temple viper) and are long retired adventurers themselves.

I realize I've never properly introduced my oldest and dearest brain-children here.
The Laufeyson family
also known as the Laufeyson Squad and the Independant Braincells, are "self-developping" OCs. They are somewhat aware of having been created as fully-formed people, and can interact with a version of me. I don't really make any decisions about their personality, they grow by themselves. They all have a lot of me in them, and their evolution has always been a reflection of mine.
Also, they have superpowers. That kinda just... happened. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
🦊Lilith
Oldest in terms of creation; middle child in terms of age. She has an extremely chaotic personality, and no brain-to-mouth filter. She's loud, brash and unashamed. She loves her sisters more than anything, although it hasn't always been smooth sailing. She especially had a rough relationship with Elliott in the first few years of her life, and was low-key afraid of Raven when the youngest was born; but she warmed up to her quickly.
She's a raging fangirl, the kind that has full-blown hysterical feels attacks about her OTP. She tends to jump from fandom to fandom depending on what show she's binging at the moment.
She can modify her appearance at will, as long as she always "looks like herself". She mostly uses it to play with different hairstyles, move her tattoos around, and downsize or disappear her wings (although she feels naked without them). Don't be fooled, she's shorter than Elliott, she just has thicker soles. She is also capable of creating illusions - think Minor Illusion in DnD, but without sound.
She most likely has ADHD. She's pansexual, and surprisingly the only one of the group to not have something going on with her gender; she's solidly a cis woman without the shadow of a doubt.
🔨Sacha
Second in creation (but not by much), eldest in age. Her role in the family is to protect and take care of her sisters. She used to be very aggressive about it (it involved the hammer); she is learning to be more gentle (and to use the hammer on other people). She's the more mature and level-headed of the sisters, and is recognized as the figure of authority in the family. She doesn't boss people around, but the others know that when she makes a decision for them, she's probably right. She loves her family and would do anything for them, but she doesn't hesitate to call them out on their shitty behaviour.
She has the ability to feel her sisters' emotion; everyday feelings just register as a distant presence, but she feels any strong emotions coming from them. She can also teleport between wherever she is and wherever one of her sisters is, and take one person with her. She mostly uses it to check on her family in case of strong feelings, and get them out of dangerous or uncomfortable situations (often with Raven). One of her eyes changes color depending on her mood.
She's aro-ace (something I realized years after her creation, by trying to imagine her with a S-O and just hitting a mental brick wall). She's also agender; picture Janet from The Good Place and you'll have a pretty good picture.
🦇Raven
Youngest both in age and in creation (by a couple of years). Raven is pretty much defined as a person by her crippling anxiety. However, that is a step-up from the deep depression she was born with and has (mostly) come back from. She's learning to get out of the house more and have fun with her family, although she really doesn't frequent anyone besides her sisters and another family they grew up with.
At first she only ever talked to Elliott, until Lilith roped her in to her shenanigans. She's now very close to Sacha, who is an encouraging presence in her life, and defends her when Elliott or Lilith get mad at her, which happens occasionally.
She has what I call exopathy; she projects her feelings outward and other people can feel them. It's only the negative feelings though, and she can't control it at all. Her appearance changes slightly when she's having an anxiety attack or when she's depressed: her hair gets longer, and her skin and eyes get paler.
She has no idea what her sexuality or gender are, even after all these years; she's too anxious about meeting people to even think about dating. She tried he/him pronouns for a little while, but that didn't seem to lead anywhere. I think her gender is just "anxiety".
🎨Elliott
This is literally just me if I could manifest fully-formed human beings into existence out of my brain and then sustain a family of four on my own. 👍
The not-a-real-tattoos is the Japanese word ryōtōzukai, which means "wielder of two swords" and is a euphemism for bisexuality. I wish I had two swords.

Plus is Sacha works on campus, Diane and him can take their lunch breaks at the same time! So I they can grab lunch at the food court and chill around HQ and stuff
(i hope this is okay and now weird djfgifggi also this is the-cat-and-the-birdie also if you wanna tell me more so I can add to stuff in my mind PLEASE PLEASE tell me about it - or like canon events or stuff IDK feel free okay bye stay safe)
Ooh I really like that idea!! I think Sacha would really like working at the design center!!
He can also do little embroidery stuff! I have another spidersona named Kiera (spider name is Jumping Spider) and they help her fix her suit and overall patches already so I could totally see him helping other spiders!!
If he works with Diane he would make sure to pack an extra coffee for her when they makes their own in the morning (his day job is at a small cafe owned by a friend so he knows how to make a lot of fun drinks)
I'd love if they were besties!!
I'm still working out canon event stuff but if I end up posting about it I'll def tag you!! <3

hi I wrote another Oblivion short story about Sacha and the Adoring Fan (or Ben, as he's known in the Sylvieverse). you know that thing where your surrogate mom becomes a terrifying demigod. very relatable.
-----
Benirus Manor was short on insects in the winter months, and so Benethir was understandably surprised when the first violently-purple butterflies swooped through the sitting room. Surprise gave way to bone-deep fear when the insects multiplied, seemingly out of nowhere, until they formed a vast, swirling cloud that produced screeching not-quite-music. Out of this cloud stepped a tall figure in a purple waistcoat.
Benethir knew about Sheogorath, of course. His parents had taught him a few useful things before they’d died. What he didn’t understand was why Sheogorath now had the blue-gray skin, sharp nose, and wavy dark hair of his erstwhile employer and guardian, Sacha Llervu.
“What’s that look for?” the god of madness demanded, eyeing Ben’s dropped jaw and wide eyes. “Oh, right, the butterflies. Bit of a different mode of transport for me, but it’s good fun. Now, come on, don’t tell me you don’t recognize me when I’m dressed well for once.”
The notion that Miss Llervu somehow was Sheogorath was impossible to consider, so Ben didn’t consider it. “You’re lying. You stole Miss Llervu’s face, somehow, and you’re trying to make me lose my mind. It won’t work.” Unless it already has.
“I get it, you’re confused. Trust me, so was I. But I’m not trying to trick you, Ben–I wouldn’t do that. It’s me. Good old Sacha, in the flesh.” She looked at one slim gray hand and grimaced. “Kind of.”
Ben folded his arms stubbornly. “Fine, then. Tell me something only Miss Llervu would know.” It was a stupid question–Sheogorath could undoubtedly look into his mind and dig out a memory–but he couldn’t think of a better test.
To his surprise, Sacha’s face softened. “You used to draw pictures for Agronak, before he died,” she said quietly. “They weren’t masterpieces, but he loved them. Used to hang ‘em up around the Bloodworks, and Owyn was always peeved about it, but didn’t feel like he could argue with the Grand Champion. Good times.”
Tears rushed into Ben’s eyes before he could stop them. “It’s you,” he choked out. “I believe you, but…why are you like this? Why are you a… a…”
“Daedra? That’s a long story,” said Sacha. “Here’s the gist: I did a favor for the old Sheogorath, and he decided to retire to the realm of Order and passed the job to me. I won’t say it was an easy adjustment, but here we are.”
“So that’s what you’ve been doing, this entire time? I don’t understand, Miss Llervu.” Ben scrubbed furiously at his damp eyes. “You were a famous knight, a hero, and then you just disappeared. There were all sorts of horrible rumors–people said you’d become a thief, a murderer. Even that you had joined the Dark Brotherhood. Then nothing. People thought you’d died. I just…I don’t understand why you didn’t come back.”
“I didn’t come back because I couldn’t, lad,” Sacha said quietly. “Those rumors you heard…most of them were true. I thought if I did the Nine a favor, they’d bring Marty back, but they didn’t. So I went down a dark path. You wouldn’t have wanted to be around me.”
I always want to be around you, he thought. You’re the only family I have. He didn’t say it aloud–some things you just couldn’t say to Sheogorath.
“But listen, Benny boy, I didn’t just come here to apologize,” said Sacha. “I came to offer you a job.”
Ben frowned. “Didn’t you already give me a job?”
“A better job, ya dumpling. Actually, less of a job, more of a title. How would you feel about being a duke?”
“A…” He couldn’t even finish the sentence, the notion was so absurd. “Of what?”
“Of Mania, naturally. Prettiest part of the Isles, if you like excessive sunshine and rude women. Our old Duke–he was another Bosmer, incidentally–defected when the Greymarch got a little too interesting for his taste, and long story short, he’s dead now. So I thought to myself, who better to take over than my loyal ward Ben?”
“You’re joking.” Ben searched her face, frowning. “Aren’t you?”
“Serious as the grave, duckie. ‘Course, you’d have to move to the Isles, but it comes with a flash new mansion and a good chef and a whole host of interesting neighbors.” Her smile faded slightly. “It’ll be hard to come back here often, you understand, but I’ll try my best to make it happen. You could live a good long life in the Isles, and as for me–well, I’ve got used to having you around, it seems. You’re a good lad.”
Ben hesitated, thinking. The notion that he of all people should become a Duke of Oblivion was…well, it was madness.
Then again, what did he have in Cyrodiil? A big empty house. Few friends, no family. Living vicariously through brave gladiators going to their deaths in the Arena. He would never be offered an opportunity like this again, least of all from the only adult who gave a damn about him.
“Well, Miss Llervu, if you’re offering me a job, I guess I’d better accept,” he said. It was difficult not to squeal, but he managed it. “Shall I get packing?”
“Not much need, unless you’ve got a few sentimental things to take. We’ve got Oblivion’s finest tailors in New Sheoth, and a good smith besides.” She tapped her chin thoughtfully. “By the way, with all this going on, I reckon you’d better stop calling me Miss Llervu.”
Of course, she wasn’t Miss Llervu anymore, not really. She was so much more now. Ben allowed himself to mourn for a moment before speaking. “Very well, ma’am. What should I call you?”
“Dunno,” said Sacha vaguely. “How about Mum?”

dwarves of middle-earth △ firebeards and broadbeams △ headcanon disclaimer △ @khazadweek day one △ first age // family
Azaghâl was the King of Belegost during much of the First Age of the Sun. He earned his use-name from his prowess in battle, and proudly wore it all his days, though his decision to take an outer name in Khuzdul was unorthodox. Yet so widely beloved was he by his people that few spoke against this choice, and the Firebeards of Gabilgathol defended him fiercely against the few Broadbeams of Tumunzahar who dared comment on Azaghâl’s name.           The spouse of Azaghâl was Thalor, a lesser prince of Nogrod who gained his name, and great wealth, in his travels in the eastern lands later known as Eriador. Thalor boasted even of having visited Khazad-dûm, though many doubted the truth of this tale in particular. Thalor’s dowry to Azaghâl upon their marriage was a grand helm crafted by none other than Telchar himself, greatest of Nogrod’s smiths, and a friend of his father. Upon this helm was a golden figure of the wyrm Glaurung, symbolizing Azaghâl’s power in combat. Thalor bore Azaghâl two sons, and the pair were deeply affectionate with one another.            Often Azaghâl and Thalor would travel together into Beleriand, trading with Caranthir the dark and Elu Thingol and later the Edain as well. On one such journey along the Dwarf-road Azaghâl’s grandfather had constructed along the River Ascar when their company was assaulted by a legion of orcs. Though Azaghâl and his folk put up a mighty battle, there were simply too many enemies for them to take down, and after a pitched battle through the night, more than half of the dwarves had been slaughtered.           They would all have perished had not Maedhros the tall, Lord of Himring and brother to Caranthir, come suddenly to their rescue. Maedhros’ mounted elves descended upon the orcs, slaying many and sending the rest scattering only to be chased down by the warriors of Himring. Maedhros himself saved Azaghâl’s life by taking a blow meant for the dwarven king, and in deepest gratitude Azaghâl gave to him the Dragon-helm and pledged a life-debt to him.           Thus began a lifelong friendship and alliance between elf and dwarf. Maedhros and his soldiers escorted Azaghâl, Thalor, and the surviving dwarves back to Belegost, and attended the solemn burials of those slain in battle. Afterward, Maedhros and Azaghâl spent many days in conversation, learning much of each others’ peoples and becoming fast friends. It was Maedhros who gave Azaghâl’s sons their use-names, Sacha and Fimli, though these pronunciations were likely an alteration of the original Sindarin words.            When the Sudden Flame descended upon the peoples of Beleriand, Azaghâl left Thalor to fortify Gabilgathol and himself set out into the elven lands seeking battle. His unexpected arrival to Caranthir’s settlement upon the shores of Lake Helevorn allowed the elves there to hold their siege for three more nights, ensuring many of their goods and people could escape southward to Amon Ereb. In the coming years, Azaghâl was one of the first lords and kings to enter into the Union of Maedhros, ever eager to wage war against the Enemy and further prove his skill in battle.            When the fateful Fifth Battle dawned, Azaghâl and his warriors marched with the eastern contingent. As the battle turned ill, he refused to flee, and his stout-hearted soldiers stood with him against the mighty wyrm Glaurung, whose likeness adorned the very helm Azaghâl once bore. As the elves fell back in retreat, the dwarves of Belegost hewed away at the dragon’s scales, for the make of their axes was so sharp and strong that nothing could withstand their blows.            Yet when Glaurung turned the force of his rage upon the dwarven king, Azaghâl was at last struck down and the dragon crawled over his body to defile it. This would turn to the wyrm’s undoing, for with his last breath, Azaghâl drove a knife into Glaurung’s belly and so wounded him that he fled the field with many of the dismayed beasts of Angband following. Thus died Azaghâl, King of Belegost, and his people raised up his body and bore him away with slow steps and dirge of deep voices. Such was the power of dwarven Song that even though they heeded not their foes, none dared attack them, and they did not halt until they returned to Gabilgathol to intern their king in his mountainside tomb.            Sacha, eldest of Azaghâl’s sons, was crowned King in the days following. Thalor his father retreated in grief and lived only a few years longer before he wasted away in sorrow. Blaming his fathers’ deaths on their friendship with the elves, Sacha turned Maedhros away from Belegost in his hour of need and closed the doors of Gabilgathol to any outsiders save their Broadbeam kin in Tumunzahar.            Now Sacha was handsome and lordly, with a beard of flame, and some whispered that he was Linnar come again, the first reincarnation of their Firebeard forefather. Fimli his brother was craft-wed, and happy to throw himself into the forges rather than rule, and so all of Gabilgathol looked to Sacha alone for guidance.            When Gabilgathol received word from Tumunzahar of the theft of the Nauglamír and the slaughter of those who worked upon it, Sacha was eager to answer the summons of his fellow king Naugladur to march to war against the Grey-elves. But Sacha’s rashness betrayed him, for the Firebeards were weary of war and had no quarrel of their own with Thingol’s kin, and the king’s council overruled him. Sacha was furious and swore to embark on this mission alone, if he must, and with three of his closest followers he departed to join Naugladur and the dwarves of Nogrod in their campaign.             With Thingol slain and his Maia queen departed, the dwarves faced no opposition as they stormed into Doriath. Only in Menegroth did they face resistance, and there a great battle was fought before the treasury. Though many dwarves were killed, including Sacha’s three companions, in the end Naugladur’s forces were victorious and claimed the Nauglamír for their own, along with many other treasures.             But the conflict was not yet over, for that very night Sacha was overcome with greed and jealousy, desiring the Nauglamír for himself. He crept to Naugladur’s side with the intent to steal the precious necklace, but even as he struck Naugladur awoke, for the King of Nogrod had feared such treachery and kept a dagger by his side as he slept. Thus was Sacha slain, though Naugladur kept his prize only until the morrow, when he and all his company were killed in battle with Beren Erchamion and his allies among the Green-elves and the Ents.           No dwarves survived that battle, but an advance party sent ahead to prepare for a feast upon the king’s return to Nogrod witnessed the utter destruction of their kindred, and brought word of the whole tale to both Broadbeams and Firebeards. The dwarves of Tumunzahar lived many generations in enmity toward their kin in Gabilgathol, cursing Sacha as a traitor and naming him Bodruith, the vengeful one, and hating those Firebeards who refused their aid as cowards.            But amid his sorrow for his brother’s death, Fimli, now King of Belegost, determined Sacha had lacked the wisdom to truly be a reincarnation of Linnar, and rising to the occasion of leadership he ruled Gabilgathol well for the rest of his days. Though he did not fight in the War of Wrath, he rekindled Azaghâl’s friendship with Maedhros the tall, fostering the peredhil Elrond and Elros for a time. When the Valar’s war against Morgoth drowned Beleriand below the waves, Fimli led his people to the eastern eaves of the Blue Mountains until the stormy seas calmed, whereupon in his old age he returned and began restoration of the great halls of Belegost.
