sienna groaned and slammed her laptop shut.

she’d been doing her schoolwork all day, working through countless assignments and studying for a test she had tomorrow.

with doing all this work she had no time whatsoever to get a drink of her beloved, root beer. not even a sip of the delicious, bubbly heavenly liquid.

she threw her laptop to the side and got up from the couch as fast as she could, running from the couch to the kitchen. in which, since she was wearing socks and running she just so happened to slip, right as she entered the kitchen.

as soon as the girl slipped she got up even faster than she did from when she got up from the couch.

she wasnt going to waste time now that she was so close to it, so close yet so far.

she dusted her knees off, working fast she chose the safer option and instead speed walked to the fridge.

she opened the cold metal of the fridge door and was met with rootbeer, the drink she’d been longing for since she opened her eyes this morning. the drink being the only thing on her mind the entire day and night.

she’d been thinking about the popping noise when she’d open the can, the heavenly fumes engulfing her nose and the way the liquid would feel on her tongue, the taste being heaven itself.

she grabbed the can from the fridge and sighed of relief, feeling the cold of the metal meet with her warm hands. the same comforting metal she’s all so used to, but the taste never failing to feel new and at its best everytime she drinks it.

she placed the can onto the counter and shut the fridge door with her foot, then she pushed the tab into the ‘gates of heaven’. the popping and sizzling noise being all she could hear.

she brought the now open can of rootbeer to her lips, drinking it and letting the cool and tasty liquid sit in her mouth, savoring the flavor.

the fizzy liquid making her heartbeat race with love. she pulled the rootbeer away and admired the taste of the caramely drink. her pupils forming into heart shaped as her eyes scattered around the can.

gosh, how much she loved rootbeer.
