Book one ends with two major diffrences: 1. Sokka went on the mission with Hahn (it did not go well) 2. Zhao survives the North Pole and that proves unfortunate for everybody (except Zhao, obviously)

Imprisoned on Zhao’s war ship, Sokka and Zuko have to work together to survive. They are not very enthusiastic about this prospect.

And they argue.

Zuko is kidnapped by the southern water tribe and an accidental found family is formed. then torn apart. And angst and zukka.

Zuko was never banished from the fire nation, he tried to fight the agni kai, he got burned, but he was never banished. only for the fact that he was considered a national treasure for his kindness and compassion to the people. When the gaang finds this out, they hatch a plot hoping to end the war once and for all,spoilers, nothing goes according to plan.

Ozymandias, King of Kings

After that fateful Agni Kai, Ozai makes a different call. Branded as a traitor and banished to a prison camp, Zuko learns how cruel the Fire Nation can be to its citizens. Three years, a water tribe raid, and an unexpected meeting with a gang of over-enthusiastic idealistic children puts Zuko back in the spotlight. The revolution is coming and it wants another poster boy, but Zuko is not willing to lend his face to the cause.

Unpathed Waters, Undreamed Shores

Sokka is a sea-walker and when he finds himself pulled onto a Fire Nation ship, he chooses to stay aboard as their would-be "captive" rather than reveal the Water Tribe's secrets. He forms an unlikely bond with the exiled prince of the Fire Nation. there are still secrets and conflicts that can't be erased, and it's up to each of them to decide if they'll choose the worlds they're used to or fight for a new world where they can be together.

Just finished the new and last chapter of risking it all

Before I say all this @ssreeder you are so incredibly talented that it makes me jealous. I want to crawl into your skin to get your writing ability (is that creepy?)

When I got the notification it was updated I was ECSTATIC. I literally jumped out of my seat then I saw it was the last chapter and closed out of it the app.

usually I read updates right when they happen but this one I couldn’t. Once I read it, it was over. This series I’m so attached to was coming to an end (this part)

I finally got the courage to read it and the amount of time it took me is something I’ll never admit. I had to keep taking breaks to just stare at my wall and not cry. The whole chapter was so incredible.

I could of put this in a comment but one I’m not a comment guy and it felt more fit as a post.

The ending had me in shambles. I’ve never cried so hard to anything. Any movie,book,or whatever. My tears to banna fish and my angsty books were NOTHING compared to this.

It wasn’t just the tears but I had to pause every paragraph (especially near the end) to just wipe my eyes and stair down at my lap.

I should be sleeping but man I love this story so much. And hate it from making me so emotional

This fic has inspired so many story’s that are sitting in my google docs. Some references to it in my fic that’s posted cause I love this fic so fucking much.

How you portray the characters. Their growths,redemptions,reverse redemptions,how they’ve changed,their trauma response, JUST EVERYTHING.

You prob get tons of comments and stuff telling how incredible you are but this really is something special I wanna say I’m proud of you but I don’t even know you. I’m getting too sentimental.

I have never been so effected (positively) by a fanfic. I really encourage everyone to read it cause I won’t stop talking about it.

When I randomly scrolled through the sokka/zuko tag I never expected I would end up here.

I’ll wrap my whatever this is up. Im most likely gonna post more about this cause MAN I LOVE IT SO MUCH

WOW Honestly that's my thought with everything Ria writes, but this one is so overlooked!!! It's so short but every word packs an incredibly punch and it's the epitome of quality over quantity. The characterization is perfect, the parallels are so well written. Ah I just love this one

My thoughts:

I love this one so much!!!! It's really well written first of all, and secondly the characterization of Lucas here is so unique!! This is my kind of Lucas, and the thought behind the premise is really interesting. Plus the Jason here is accurate to real Jason and I like that a lot (So many people just make irredeemable monster Jason when like before he went cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs he was just your regular small town jock asshole)

Augh I just love the way you write. Something about it is so flowy, like a river or a silk dress. Anyways this is such a sweet little one shot, I always get so eeeeeee over a first kiss, and this was perfect!!!! I have a v similar idea for a story ending that is taking place soon, so great minds lolol but yes amazing show stopping wonderful etc. etc.

There are some spicy bits in this so fair warning, but there's also dad hopper and Wayne and stobin soulmate moments and just AUGH this is amazing it really honestly Is everyone should go read this and the fact that it only has 886 hits is a fucking travesty. I could easily see this as one of the seminal steddie fics tbh.
