while everyone has the right to raise their child with the ethics they so desire, i do think it’s hilarious when xtians INSIST they aren’t indoctrinating or brainwashing their kids but also refuse to put them in public school (or even private xtian school), only socialize them within xtian circles like youth group or their church’s homeschool co-op, and rigorously vet any secular media so their kids doesn’t “reject the faith.” like uh. if your faith is so weak you have to hide your kids away from anybody on the outside so they never even think to question it…….. it doesn’t exactly sound legit

I’m being so ffr rn, if the show runners definitively show that Buddie is not going to happen?
I’m probably not going to be watching anymore.
I mean it when I say that they’re literally the sole reason I watched this show in the first place. I saw a billion TikTok edits of them & was like “Idek these characters I need to watch this show and see what’s going on over there.”
And like, it’s a fun show, I’m not saying it isn’t, but first responder shows are a dime a dozen. There are other shows that have queer characters and found family and wild adventures. Granted, they don’t have Buck & his bi arc, but I’d still read fanfics to get my Evan Buckley fix lol.
I don’t need them right now, I’m so down for the slow burn, will-they-won’t-they & the pining & the yearning & the build up and the GOOD foundation. I want to see Eddie figuring himself out and dealing with his repression and figuring out he’s queer (& Demi, pls God. I hope if I just say it enough, I can will it into existence somehow) before anything happens with the two of them, but if they take definitive steps to have one of them like, marry someone else or something, I think I’m gonna head out. Find me on ao3 for the rest of my days lol.

thinking about how gorgug + kristen perceive both their own deaths & each other’s, and how that impacts their relationship. bc i feel like freshman year kristen was too caught up in her newfound knowledge of the nature of her own god to truly clock & process gorgug’s internal revulsion of where he went after he died, & freshman year gorgug wasn’t familiar enough with the complexities of other people to truly lock onto the sorrow buried within the chaos of kristen’s upward/downward/sideways spiral until she was seemingly on the other side of it. & i wonder if they’ve ever really talked about it (unlikely), or if they’ve just cracked very few jokes that didn’t land and decided to never quite do the work & dig through that part of their relationship. but there’s a kinship there; kristen specifically singles out gorgug to tell him she died again, and gorgug apologizes that he wasn’t there with her this time. gorgug takes one of the finger bones off kristen’s newly/long-time decayed corpse to have an anchor to something in the world. despite the fact that they were in different places after death, having been together during it means everything.
anyways what i’m trying to say is i think they should talk about it.

What do you think is wrong with Belos as a villain?
His plan is ridiculously long and convoluted, and we don't really get clear motivations behind his actions. On top of it all, he was so pissed off with his brother for falling love with a witch. Instead of blaming the witch or feeling hurt over his brother's choice, he went an even weirder route of cloning his own brother to manipulate, lie, then kill the clones in cold blood for several generations... for no good reason.

Thinking about how most of the choir moments between Wilhelm and Simon in S1 take place in the chapel of the school(except the one after Erik's death). How a chapel is a perfect allegory to uphelding traditions and how their love blossomed and crumbled altogether under the very roof of that chapel, under the weight of traditions and customs.
And interestingly enough, out of all the choir moments they do share in S2, not a single one takes place in the chapel. Simon misses the welcome back choir which actually takes place in the said chapel, the masquerade choir takes place in the common area, and the Jubilee choir takes place out in the open. And how it relates to Wilhelm's inner turmoil and subsequent abandonment of traditions and legacies throughout the season. And how the moments they do share through the choir are not clouded by the high-end walls of traditions and legacies weighing on Wilhelm anymore, literally and metaphorically.

Something I love about Warrior Nun is that most of its characters are devote and religious. Most of them are nuns or priests. And yet not a single one of them, not even the evil ones, makes a homophobic comment. In fact, they even have Camila, a devote nun, tell Beatrice that there's no shame in being gay. The only homophobia in the show is Beatrice's internalized one.
