So it's most likely not going to happen in the fic I am writing for him, but imagine Mourningstar's delusions go so hard that he genuinely believes that you are his babygirl, and not in the adopted way. Like in order to help him heal more his brain decided to fabricate that everyone died that night except you. You were taken from him, but not by death. The angels must've taken you and then sent you back down once he proved he wouldn't lift a finger to help those filthy sinners ever again.

Even if you look completely different, even if you insist you don't remember this man he's so sure in his delusions. Of course you don't remember him you were just born when it happened that's why you look at him like he's a stranger, oh babygirl he's so sorry he missed so many important milestones for you. He wonders why the angels didn't tell you about your Daddy, but it's alright he'll tell you all about your family and about memories he has of you as a baby.

It all makes so much sense now! Angels wouldn't be so cruel as to murder his entire family. The reason he didn't make a grave for you was because he couldn't find your body, and a small part of him held hope that you were alive somewhere. The reason why Charlie's nursery only had the one crib was because him and Lillith had decided to co-sleep with you in their bed, yes, yes, it's all so clear! He must've been so deep in his grief he had momentarily forgotten, oh babygirl he's so sorry but he remembers everything now!

He will tell you all about the day you were born and how excited Charlie had been for a sibling. He'll tell you about how she used to play dress up with you and read you her favorite stories and how you'd giggle. He'd tell you about how he used to make you watch in wide eyed wonder whenever he'd use his magic around you.

What you aren't his second daughter and you came from another family? Oh honey, the angels must've kept you in a state of sleep and you dreamed the whole thing, shhh, don't get upset now, Daddy's here, and he'll help you remember the real truth about your past. Poor thing you must be so confused, don't cry Daddy's here now.

For those of you who have no idea who this unhinged man is allow me to introduce him to you. Essentially he is Lucifer if Lillith actually attempted to form a legitimate army to take down heaven due to the extermination and as a result was punished by the angel of death taking away his wife and child. He becomes more and more secluded and insane in his grief until he finds an Omega Little regressed, being chased by an exorcist (in my fic), crying out for their Daddy and he saves them and becomes immediately attached and regardless of pronouns or actual gender he calls them his babygirl or princess. He is unhinged and delusional but truly does love them.

Ezreal and Kayn can tell when the other has had a bad day, and they know what the other person needs.

Ezreal hates being alone when something is bothering him because he likes to be distracted or sometimes speak his mind about the thing; so if he doesn’t automatically go to Kayn’s room when Kayn can tell he’s upset, Kayn will barge into his room and plop himself down without really saying anything until Ezreal feels like talking.

Kayn on the other hand, HATES having people in his space when something is bothering him because it distracts him from being able to reflect or silently rage about the issue. He still wants someone to be there AFTER he’s calmed down (and ezreal knows this) so whenever Kayn is in a mood Ez gives him an hour or two to get his emotions out before going in and cheering him up.

so we met this year when i went to this school

he's a grade older than me but i assume we're the same year (cause he's 15 now and i'll turn 15 this year) (i don't know if i say it the right way but i just don't know how to explain it)

i was friends with a girl in autumn, and he was friends with her too (now we both don't talk to her, idk why he doesn't tho) and we interacted in some way bc of it

in our school we choose the classes we want to attend and it doesn't depend on the grade you're in, so we had some mutual classes during this year. also we have not only the regular school subjects, but some interesting courses on very different topics (i'm not showing off, just saying that i'm glad to be from an upper middle-class family and go to a private school)

we had a class that is about the society or smth, and there was a lesson about marraige. he just leaved like after 5-10 minutes (idk if people still make those awful sigma jokes but yeah) (and yeah we're allowed to do so, you can leave anytime you want). no point here, i just remembered that and thought it could be important to understand his character or something

he's from a friend group i don't really like (they're loud chess nerds who speak in russian and that pisses off the whole school. there're a few nice guys there tho) but he's also friends with a lot of other people (he's a goddamn extravert and literally knows everyone)

back to the classes. we had physics together in winter, and we imitated electron movement (i'm from ukraine and i don't give a shit how you call all these things in english, i hope you get it), and we needed balloons for it. i helped him to tie his balloon (also he sat next to me? but idk if that means something or he just sat down somewhere bc all other seats were occupied, i don't remember)

then i remember how we just accidentaly got distracted and he showed me some tricks he can do with his hand but then the teached noticed it (like boy? why me? no complaining tho)

i don't remember anything til now tbh and so we're here in april 2024

we have like 4 mutual classes now

it's a format where we have different lessons everytime, history of music, history of ukraine and history of antiquity (it's not bc he's a history nerd, it's bc i am a history nerd lol. i have like 5 different history classes rn)

this tuesday we had the format and it was a game called 'two states' where we were in the same team. the point of the game was to increase the state budget and also to not have any dead citizens (if you don't have any money left by the end of the round you die). i convinced my friend alice, with whom we played as a family, to help him so that he did not die (we basically gave the guy money lol, but she didn't even want to help)

also there is a thing among us, when we do those little charades to communicate when we're too far from each other to talk (I SWEAR I DUNNO WHAT THAT WAS PLSS. MY BSF SCREAMED INTO THE PHONE WHEN I TOLD HER.)

and there it was then too

and also we often just look at each other and shake our heads at the same time when our mutual friends do something stupid and laugh

and after that alice and i went to the subway together and before that we chatted with him in the cloakroom, where he told us about our other friend (myrosia) annoying him on purpose after he told her to stop. i just don't get it??? like what's the point of doing that??? it used to be a local joke before but if it annoys the other person why do you continue???

anyway so. on friday we had history of antiquity, he was late for school and sat down on the floor next to me (i don't remember if i ever mentioned it on my blog before but probably not. we don't use desks and all this stuff, we just sit in the auditorium/classroom on the chairs or the floor) and greeted with us (i assume us?? like our friend group??), i told myrosia to shut up before she tried to do the joke again, she did anyway and he just leaved and sat in the other side of the room

we had a group task and he joined our group for it, we did some small talk where he mentioned he didn't sleep well or something like that, then i got up from my chair and sat on the floor to help with the poster and he just sat on my chair (i mean, boy why me??? there were other empty chairs. i didn't protest tho (if it was someone else i probably would) and let the poor boy to sit on a chair)

after a lot of jokes from myrosia and alice he leaved before the break was announced again (i just don't get why they keep doing this if they know it annoys another person)

after the break he sat in the other side of the room again and when girls from our group were about to present our work we just did the whole shaking heads and then laughing thing again

then we had the school meeting and there was this thing again

by the way i feel like i forgot to say this. we never actually greet if we walk past each other in the hallway

BUT THE WORST PART IS

i'm going on a school trip in may. and so does he. and we'll be around each other for 5 (five!!!) days. WTF

you know the delusional scenarios we have going on in our minds which are simply too good not to keep fantasizing about it but at the same time they are just too delusional and specific to be turned into a fic so i got one in which reader (me) is a curator for a titanic museum/exhibition and guess which contractor firm is hired to build the replicas of the ship in small scale, the corridors, the rooms etc and of course the grand staircase simply ✨ THE MILLERS ✨ and at first Joel thinks it's bullshit because he just thinks of the movie titanic as a chick flick but then he sees reader (me 😭) for the first time and it goes exactly like the first time Jack sees Rose and Tommy Miller tells him reader is way out of his league just like Tommy the 3rd class passenger tells Jack and omg then Joel and reader meet officially and of course they immediately like each other and he doesn't get why a girl like her loves an old ship so much but he decides to build the stuff as best as he can just to make her happy and the moment he finishes the grand staircase (idk if joel deals with wood work too, but let's pretend he does) reader is the first one he calls to see and she is so mesmerized and emotional even to see it coming it back to life and he just asks her to walk down the staircase for him just like rose did as a joke but when she really does it his heart skips a beat and what can i say titanic is my number one hyper fixation and i feel it would be so special with joel because he seems so rough but he's a romantic at heart and it would be nice to see him with my ship of dreams 😭
