anyway since it's 430 am and no one is awake i am not going to share my lore hot takes but I WILL say that i do have lore hot takes specifically regarding how ccs view lore & view story on the dsmp.... i think fundamentally (with a few exceptions notably quackity wilbur tommy) most ccs did not join the server with the intention of creating a narrative or do not view it as a medium for storytelling for its own sake which intrinsically affects the way story progresses the way story is viewed... i think a lot of it. falls flat. or has plotholes or is narratively brushed over because the creators r doing it for fun content and clout not narrative creation. anyway specifically ive gotten rlly back into critrole and other actual play podcasts and what really fucking struck me is like. the visibly deep care and love and affection these creators have For the world and story they create... i can't help listening to campaign sky/jacks and hearing the gm's lovely, evocative descriptions of settings and places that are just. clearly overflowing with love for the world they created and have so much time and thought and imagination and effort put into them and compariing it to the dsmp where doomsday bbh destroying the prime path the unused mansion etc are some of the more recent lore builds.. this imo is why dsmpblr has such an attachment to the genuinely meaningful historical builds like tommys house lmanberg snowchester etc... i feel like a lot of the ccs. don't realize how much a fucking Lot of people love lore and are genuinely invested in the storytelling.. anyway what inspired this post was me buying a $60 critrole sweater with knit patterns based off one of my favorite characters & realizing they named their merch store after an in-universe magical items shop that's well-beloved by both players and viewers and thinking. damn. that's really fucking cool! i love that!! i love seeing a gilmore's glorious goods receipt in my inbox!!! i rlly would pay actual money for in-universe dsmp merch. a lot of people would! it's something ive seen talked about a lot in dsmpblr! the ccs would make a lot of money off badlands themed merch or in-universe las nevadas merch!! i genuinely don't know why they had this lovely gorgeous story going and then just like... dropped it? it could have been so much? idk. i'm sleepy. it just makes me sad to like. love a story so much and know that maybe... a handful of its creators love it too. idk have been consuming more books & media created with intent lately & realizing hey it kind of sucks writing pages of analysis over the symbolism of lilies of the valley as forgiveness as this beautiful bittersweet motif of flowers that runs through ctommys storyline only to realize hey he just grabbed whatever was nearest. the lily of the valley was actually just a flower mumza gave phil. it was just convenient. yeah puffy threw her entire character arc out the window to join the syndicate. yeah ctubbo and techno are friends now. like idk man if im gonna spend time and love and brain juice etc thinking so hard about a piece of media i at least want it to be a story that's created with love for it. yk??

Just a heads up I’m noticing some confusion!

Lucy talks about two men.

There’s Arthur Holmwood, the “tall, handsome, curly-haired man” Mina asked about, who we have now found out also gets along very well with Lucy’s mum, and is rich and titled (nice). Lucy loves him a lot (she says it three times!)

Then there is also a different man, the doctor in charge of the lunatic asylum. The doctor would be considered a very eligible match (that’s what being a parti means). He is also handsome, also rich, and also from a good family. Young and responsible, he would be just the man for Mina if she wasn’t already happily engaged to Jonathan. Let’s hope nothing … happens … to our friend Jonathan on his Transylvanian travels 👀

Although Lucy likes both men, it’s Arthur who she loves. 👍

Also everyone picking up on the doctor having almost as many red flags as our beloved Count? Good eye! We will get to the asylum storyline soon, and it will be … interesting to see how y’all take it.

Also also, yes, this is the same asylum that backs onto Carfax, Dracula’s new digs.

Now I’m not coming after this person or naming them cause it’s not their fault at all but I am begging y’all to understand the queer allegories are not a mistake. They are not a coincidence.

This isn’t a fuddy old timey white man accidentally walking into making an incredibly queer book.

Bram Stoker was most likely a closeted queer man. He started writing Dracula a month after Oscar Wilde’s imprisonment, who was someone he knew personally. He and Walt Whitman wrote very homoerotic letters to each other. It was rumoured he had a massive crush on his boss, Henry Irving, who he wrote a biography on and who he heavily based Dracula’s appearance on (sans the hairy palms and pointy ears lol)

That is the context Dracula was written in. So when Mina and Lucy are galpalling it up, when Lucy’s three weed smoking boyfriends seem very close, when Dracula is jealous and protective of Jonathan and wants to stay up all night talking, please don’t run away with the idea that those are coincidences, or that Stoker was somehow blindly stumbling his way through this.

He knew. It’s on purpose.

A Defence of Dr John “Jack” Seward

Okay I’ve seen a lot of stuff around and I just want to set the record straight as someone who has done a lot of study in Victorian lit and this book in particular.

Dr Seward is not meant to be creepy.

It is vital that you understand this point. He is an equally viable suitor/lover to Lucy as Quincey or Arthur.

A lot of how he’s been read at the moment is being coloured by the odd 125 years that have past between when this book was first published and now.

Lucy has three suitors, Quincey the Cowboy, Arthur the Lord, and Jack the Doctor. They’re each set up to be equally valid and suitable choices for her. This is why she is so torn about choosing Arthur (i.e. English Stability) over Quincey (American Romance/Adventure) and Jack (Rationality, Intelligence, and - some of y’all won’t believe me when I say this - Compassion).

Jack Seward is odd. There’s no beating around the bush as far as that is concerned. He’s awkward, and nerdy, he has all the latest gadgets, and he finds it easier to talk to Lucy about his passions and interests - such as the very latest discoveries in psychology - rather than engage in social niceties and small talk. He almost sits on his silk top hat and he fidgets with a surgical knife when he’s nervous because it’s the only thing in his pocket. It’s very easy to read him as autistic, or otherwise neurodivergent in some way.

He is also, I cannot stress this enough, at the top of his field. What we see today as archaic and ableist practises were to Stoker’s contemporary reader some of the most compassionate and patient-first mental health work of it’s time. We’re going to learn more about the asylum as we go on, but it’s a very interesting case study of The Other.

The Other is what ultimately rules out Seward as a viable romantic candidate for Lucy. While he is English, “an excellent parti [marriage candidate], being handsome, well off, and of good birth,” while “he is a doctor and really clever,” while “he is only nine-and-twenty, and he has an immense lunatic asylum all under his own care,” he is ultimately too close to the strange and unusual, to the Other, to the mad, to be a good match for Lucy, an up and coming socialite.

She cannot choose Quincey because he is American (foreign and therefore also Other), and engages in lowly things like slang. He is an adventurous and Romantic (used in the classical rather than colloquial sense) Hero, and again ultimately unsuitable for our Lucy.

It is Arthur Holmwood (later The Honourable Lord Godalming), the English gentry that Lucy must court and ultimately wed. This is also why Arthur seems so much less fleshed out and boring compared to the other two suitors. The contemporary reader would immediately understand and fill in everything you needed to know about him from context. He is the most familiar figure to a British public, where the others are … well … Other.

I also want to go over what Jack wrote today, because it’s not nearly as damning as people are making it out to be.

Miserable after being rejected by the woman he loves, Jack throws himself into his work instead. He records his diary on a phonograph, the very latest in Victorian tech, and relates that day’s studies on the patient he finds the most fascinating, R.M. Renfield. A lot of psych work at the time - and today! - revolves around the idea of understanding how a mental patient’s mind works by close analysis, hypothesis, and practical testing and observation. This is what Seward conducts.

Still emotionally unstable himself from the recent rejection, he reflects that there was a level of cruelty in how he treated Renfield that day, which he immediately regrets. He recognises that he went too far, and that it was his own fault, and was irresponsible and wrong as Renfield’s Doctor and as Head of the asylum.

He confesses that he wanted to “keep him to the point of his madness” (i.e. encourage or even worsen Renfield’s condition in order to study it further) something that under normal circumstances would be “a thing which I avoid with the patients as I would the mouth of hell.”

This isn’t a mad scientist gleefully torturing people he considers subhuman, this is a Doctor who cares deeply about his patients and feels terrible his own personal emotional distress led him to hurt rather than to heal.

He let emotion get the better of him, something he considers selfish and indulgent, and he reflects that a selfish man is as much a danger to the people around him as to himself. He resolves to work from a place of duty, from a place which prioritises the well-being of his patients, from now on, and to be more conscientious and aware of his actions and how they affect others in the future.

That is the musings of a Good Doctor! And a Good Man! He is working from a 19th Century understanding of what that means, but that does not minimise the intent and spirit of his character!

Please stop writing Seward off as the creepy asylum man. He is so much more than that, and more than an equal match to Quincey and Arthur.

I love how Dracula Daily has given me a new perspective on Lucy. It’s completely changed my view of her.

It’s easy to dismiss Lucy as a shallow, golden child socialite to be, but now, reading the book in chronological order (and with the rest of Tumblr following along) I can’t read this latest letter without a great twinge of sadness, where before I largely dismissed it as idle chat.

The latest we heard from Lucy in her private diary was about how stressed and scared she is, how she feels isolated, how she feels the need to quiet people’s fears about her health and be fun and jolly, while in reality she is (literally and figuratively) drained.

And now, five days later, she writes to Mina after receiving her best friend’s glowing letter about how happy and excited she is to finally be married to Jonathan and their hopes for the future.

So Lucy puts on a brave face! She doesn’t tell Mina anything. What could Mina do anyway? All the way across the ocean? Better not to worry her. Yes I’m quite well again! No more sleepwalking for me! Definitely not :)

You and Jonathan should come back home soon! For Jonathan’s sake! (Please)

With this new lens, we read between the lines, and they paint a dreadfully lonely and terrifying picture.

Halo AU c!tntduo my beloved <33

Ok so my Halo special interest was revived one fateful night and now I’m brainrotting. Like I’ve been writing down all my ideas in my silly little notebook and now I have an entire dsmp halo AU planned out.

This would follow the storyline of Halo games 2 and 3, and would closely mirror the events of both games.

c!Quackity would be Master Chief (AU name= Alex-125 Master Chief Petty Officer) and obviously would be on the UNSC side. His AI would be Tubbo and yes I understand that canon master chief’s and Cortana’s relationship has romantic undertones but this is silly, obviously platonic cabinetduo we’re talking about (also this AU is ENTIRELY platonic I’m just putting that out there, I can’t stand writing romance in Halo fics soz that’s not how I work lol)

Here’s my character list:

- Master chief = Quackity/Alex-125

- The Arbiter = Wilbur/Kur ‘Konomee (the -ee suffix basically says that he’s part of the Covenant army, nothing too specific. However, like Thel ‘Vadam [the canonical Arbiter], he drops the -ee after the Sangheili are forced to separate from the Covenant and end up making an alliance with the humans)

- Tartarus = Eret/Fersyreus

- Sergeant Johnson = Foolish; his name would straight up just be Sergeant Foolish, I’m not using real names unless I have to cause it’s weird

- Fleet Master = Technoblade/Rel ‘Nar Zudomai (I LOVE NAME LORE so the “‘Nar” in his name denotes a high rank in the Covenant army, usually means that the Sangheili with that honorific controls a portion of the Covenant’s Navy. And the -ai suffix in Techno’s surname denotes “blade master” cause get it ha funny)

- Miranda Keyes = Niki

- Lord Hood = Sam

- Prophet of Truth = Dream (I fucking hate how I have to write this motherfucker but he’s the big bad so I can’t think of anyone else. Also his death in this AU is going to be so satisfying trust me); prophet name = Prophet of Liberty

- Prophet of Regret = Schlatt; prophet name = Prophet of Benevolence

- Prophet of Mercy = BBH or George (prophet of Mercy does fuck all in the story so he basically dies off-screen); prophet name = Prophet of Grace OR Prophet of Harmony, I can’t decide

- The Gravemind would just be the Gravemind tbh, that shit’s staying the same; I’m too lazy and also my spin. on Halo would throw a FIT for changing the canon like that

Dream smp actor au my beloved

First season

Dream is a very famous actor, his movies got recognition very quickly regardless of being a pretty new actor, the most popular out of all of his movies being “Manhunt” an action movie that has a lot of improv and fighting scenes

After his second movie of Manhunt he decided that along side with some of his close friends and co-workers to start a tv-show called the Dream smp

It took a really long while to get all the actors for the first season, a lot of planning and getting people to work on sets and props

Some of the actors Dream got to participate were his close friends Sapnap and George who were in the cast of his last movies “Manhunt”

Tommyinnit was a kid Dream found in a small community of actors called “Hypixel: Sky Block series” he went ahead and literally snatched him from that serie and added him as one of the main leads of the storyline of his serie

Tubbo was kind of a addition out of the blue, Tommy after joining the cast decided to take Tubbo with him, a fellow friend and co-worker in the Hypixel series. Dream didn’t had a problem with it after realizing that both kids were insanely talented

Wilbur was, in Dream’s words, the best addition to the cast he could had ever imagined, Wilbur had been in the past in several other popular shows like “SMP Live” and “SMP Earth”

Wilbur not only did an excellent work as an actor but also added so much into the story, helping Dream several times with the storyline and script, eventually becoming a co-writer of the script over all season one

Making the serie itself was hard, but getting everything together and editing was a whole lot of work

But the most difficult thing was actually acting, the thing was that the whole cast of the serie got along so well, that when it was the time to actually act, getting in character was kinda impossible

Even for Dream was difficult to get in character

The whole war declaration took at least five shots because Dream kept breaking character or Sapnap kept wheezing

Eret’s betrayal was one of the last scenes to be recorded because it was just really really hard for the cast to actually act hurt or not joke between lines

The Tommy vs Dream duel was so funny to the cast, even more when Tommy was done with makeup and he literally had an arrow inserted in his stomach

So many memes, so many

The L’manberg era was one of the most difficult to act and write, the cast being new and not used to the whole atmosphere

But when the election and pogtopia era hit in, it was much more easy for the actors to take everything much more serious

Jschlatt and Technoblade were added to the cast and it was insane for everyone, both actors being really close friends of Wilbur because of their old projects together (SMP Live, SMP Earth, etc)

The election arc was, described by the whole cast, as one of the best parts of the whole season

Quackity would pull this insane improvs moments between shots and everyone would just have to run with it, getting a lot of extra but very cool scenes

Tommy and Tubbo would just pull the strangest faces in shots whenever they knew that the camara focus wasn’t in them just to try to make each other laugh

Niki and Awesamdude would sneak food into the set all the time, bags of chips, coffee, chocolate, sometimes even cake

Wilbur, Schlatt and Quackity had this whole competition between them where they would literally live inside the set and whoever stayed the longest would win 100 dlls

The pogtopia era was more easy to record, but much harder to act

Wilbur had lots of trouble being actually mean to Tommy and overall acting as an antagonist

When recording sometimes he would just stop and ask Tommy if he was okay and make sure to let all of the cast know he didn’t meant what he was saying

Tubbo Schlatt and Quackity had overall a very good time recording, most of the time laughing after hard scenes and joking around

Not Schlatt and Techno collectively suffering cus they got at least three hours of makeup prep because of tusks and horns 😭✋

The pogtopia set was one of the hardest to archive, this one having legit stares and buttons on the walls

Tubbo and Wilbur fell down those stares at least five times, Techno almost convinced Dream to use a harness on set

Technoblade revealing the vault full of weapons and stuff for the revolution was such a difficult scene to make because everyone kept messing around with the cool props

Schlatts death was easy to act, as soon as he died he made a peace sign and screamed “I’m outta here!” And proceed to walk out of the set😐

Moving on, Philza’s addition to the last episode of the season was something most of the cast wasn’t aware of, most of the reactions (besides Philza and Wilbur) being completely genuine

Philza is known for his famous serie called Hardcore and a couple of appearances on others people’s series

The end of the season was something hard to do, people had to use harnesses and when explosions occurred they had to be literally thrown into the air getting a lot of genuine screams

Tommy was supposed to be the president of L’manberg but he decided to pass the power to Tubbo in a moment of improv, Dream and Wilbur liked that scene a whole lots

The cast made Wilbur a funeral party after the last shot, lot of people got drunk while Phil just took care of the minors and made sure they didn’t get in trouble <3

Second season

The second season was something that all the fandom awaited eagerly, wanting to see what had happened with L’manberg and the beloved characters, so Dream and Wilbur made sure to make everything perfect, everything connecting points on the story

Ranboo was one of the new additions, a new actor that worked on his own going from place to place, the well known place like Hypixel, Bedwars (Invited by Purpled) and in his own side of TikTok

Dream found out about him and decided to add him just on a go, he of course wasn’t ready for the big impact the boy would have in the story at all

Now, Ranboo is one in the suffering gang, every morning having to spend hours in makeup along side with Tubbo (horns) Wilbur (ghost) and Tommy (exile appearance)

By the way, Ranboo’s storyline was supposed to be separated from the whole L’manberg and Exile story, but Tommy and Tubbo liked him a lot so decided to add him on their storylines

Tommy was supposed to burn down George’s house alone, but the same day they were recording he asked Dream to add Ranboo. And Tubbo decided to make Ranboo his minutes man out of the blue with simple improv and Ranboo went along with it

Oh, talking about Exile

If the cast thought Pogtopia had been hard to act??? Wait for the Exile arc

Literal pain, for literally everyone involved

Tommy is a lil shit but it was legitimately difficult for Dream to be actually that villain and manipulate and ahg, pain

Tubbo and Tommy had so much trouble recording the whole fight scene at the wall, it took at least three days to get the shot right because Tommy and Tubbo couldn’t stop breaking character or laughing

Oh yeah, it was difficult to this kids to stay away from each other, they were so used to working together that it was legitimately difficult to not be together

Which caused for Tommy and Tubbo to sneak into eachother sets and try to chat and just vibe together which would end up with Ranboo dragging Tommy away from Tubbos set and Quackity doing as well with Tubbo

New L’manberg was nice to record, Tubbo tells when he is asked about it, it was a really nice change for the dynamics, including Ranboo and Fundy more, tho he missed Tommy dearly during the recordings

At the very end of exile, one of the last shots, most exactly when Dream has to blow up Tommys stuff, he accidentally tripped with one of the props and ended up breaking a leg

The recording went straight to Twitter where people lost their shit over the scene, mostly because Dream tried to continue the scene with improv but Tommy lost his shit and they had to take the whole shot again after Dream got checked up

Technos execution was planned to happen really early in the season but Techno kept forgetting that he had to get on set so they had to move it slightly at the end, the end of exile and the execution hitting at the same time

The butcher army cast had the idea of the bloody aprons, Dream had this whole thing were they would have this really cool uniforms but they just went “nah, bloody aprons”

Ranboo was supposed to have one as well but he tried to use his character’s morals to get out of it, he succeeded, no bloody apron for Ranboo :)

The whole execution scene at Technos house was so funny to record, things without effects are extremely hilarious

Quackity kept messing up his lines, Tubbo kept falling and tripping when he had to run, Ranboo just didn’t knew what to do, Fundy kept blocking “hits” that he was supposed to take

Techno just wanted to be finished already, he was so tired 🥲

Moving on, the whole death scene where Techno uses the totem of undying was mostly made with editing, the anvil was a green square made out of foam, and the totem was just a green stick

Really funny without effects, really badass after editing

Moving on! Tommy living in a hole was literally not planned, Tommy was supposed to try and hide inside Technos room but he said fuck that and made the team make another entire set for something that would last tops a week 😐

Techno and Tommy had a blast doing the whole “Welcome Home Theseus”. The scene was taken perfectly the first shot because the both of them were so excited for that scene

Finally Tommy can leave the suffering makeup gang cuz his character is healthier now 😌✌️Techno is now taking his place suffering in makeup prep because of his scars and tusks

The day of the Festival was so important to the storyline so everyone was extremely nervous before recording, but it was okay, the whole episode came out really well

Tommy and Techno had to use green capes between the invisible shots and it was just hilarious for everyone on set

Tubbo accidentally forgot his speech and had to improvise in front of all the crew

Dream fell at least twice when he was “building” the walls around L’manberg again

Tubbo and Tommy kept laughing or apologizing to eachother while in the fighting scene

Tubbo accidentally slipped and the disc Mellohi accidentally broke when he was about to give it to Dream 😬

The whole Doomsday deal was something really really hard

A lot of what happened was made with editing so most of what happened on set was just green screens and sounds out of computers to let the actors know what was happening

Technos dogs were actually from a fan! This fan had this whole adoption establishment and decided to let the cast use em for the recording! They even got a tour :)

Technos and Tommy’s whole exchange during doomsday is supposed to be heartbreaking and sad to watch, but Techno and Tommy have such a good relationship that they just, kept laughing, Tommy kept making faces and Techno’s voice wasn’t genuine while saying his lines

Ghostbur’s exchange with Phil almost didnt happened because Wilbur kept refusing to spend five hours in makeup prep lmfao

The whole cast did sang the L’manberg anthem after it was blown up, even Dream and Techno. The clip of the cast just singing will forever stay in Twitter

The aftermath of doomsday was a good change of things, much more calm recording sessions for at least a few weeks

Snowchester was something that Tubbo came up with as pure improv, he liked the idea of some kind of retirement place so he decided to add it after doomsday

Ranboo moving in with Phil and Techno was complete improv as well from Phil’s and Techno’s part, Ranboo literally had no idea what was happening when Phil invited him to live with em

Ranboo literally got snatched lmao

Endgame or the final disk war was surely something

The prop team had to make bout four new sets in the matter of a week, the most hard one to make being the mountain one

Tommy and Tubbo knew that the whole episode would be hard to record but they were still extremely hyped just because they got to record together again as besties

Makeup time at the end was about eight hours, Tommy suffered a lot while Tubbo was just used to it at this point

THE WHOLE PRISON SCENE WHERE ALL THE SERVER GOES THROUGH THE PORTAL??? PAIN.

Everyone is lost, no one knows when to cross, people are missing armor, no one knows where the fuck George is, Punz keeps breaking his sword accidentally, everything is falling apart

Quackity wanted to play a prank on the cast by appearing shirtless in the super intense scene but everyone was so tired of recording that Quackity was actually shirtless in the final shot

Dream stayed in his obsidian box at least half an hour because Tommy kept messing up his lines

At the end of the season, where Dream is finally taken to prison Wilbur makes his appearance to Tubbos and Tommys surprise

Their reactions were genuine because only Dream and Wilbur knew that part of the script

Overall, the end of the season was amazing and the fandom went insane with it

The Drista saga are used as comedic relief or filler episodes, Drista being actually Dream’s lil sister who insisted in wanting to appear in the show as a god

Michael is actually Technos little brother who went to the set a couple of times cus Techno was babysitting him. He made his way into some of Ranboos and Tubbos shots, after that they decided to adopt him and make Michael canon just cus they liked the kid a lot

Dream decided to give Karl the chance to have a spin off of the show called Tales of the smp after realizing his talent at storytelling. Karl had the possibility to get new actors for the serie but he decided to use the same cast and just make them act differently, the fandom loved it

Wilbur and Tommy had this cool idea between them and after a while of writing and planning they decided to start their own show called the “Origins SMP” featuring some of their friends from other shows, not only the Dream smp

Got some sleep, so now I'm on the Manifold grind!

Stream starting with Jack spending his birthday alone, drinking in his empty hotel is... quite depressing man...

I'll be honest I've actually- there's been very little to do with him gone" man... it really does makes you realize how much Jack was reliant on his semblance of a connection to Tommy (the whole "muse" thing Wilbur mentioned in his own stream seems to apply quite a bit for Jack)

Ooooh, he's talking about the heist that he, Quackity, Tommy, and Tubbo did! Man... remember the cartel? Good old days...

Mood immediately going down upon entering the final control room as it usually is. Though Jack wasn't actually there for that but, you know, he joined just one day after

And now he's going over where Tommy was exiled through the Nether, trying to find the point where he was killed

*staring into lava* "I don't think I wanna visit this place. I don't think I wanna look at this one. I think I wanna go back. This isn't really where I wanna be" Jack your trauma is showing

"Since when was Tubbo's house back? Didn't Tommy burn that down? I think? It's what Tubbo told me" One of the times for sure, but wasn't it destroyed the final time by Dream? Do I remember that wrong?

"Let's go to Fundy's place. I have not seen him in FOR-EVER. I don't even know what he did. I don't even remember what he did after L'Manburg" In all fairness, Fundy also probably doesn't remember...

Oh yeah, I forgot that Jack was the one who built Fundy's tower. And now it's blown up... man...

"I don't know if you could tell, but I've been pretty purposeless for the past 80 days"

"I just wish that someone would have logged on" See, that's why I say that it would honestly be beneficial for Jack more than anyone if he and Tommy mended their relationship. He just really desperately needs a friend...

"Everything I care about on this server gets blown up or destroyed or taken advantage of or... or they- it betrays me"

"I know Niki became an anarchist or whatever- at least she's happy. At least she's happy" My rocket duo crumbs for the month...

Also, Jack noticing that Quackity's business offer fell through, though, to be fair, Las Nevadas is also without customers and still unfinished

"I've never done anything for me. Anything at all" That's sort of a stretch of course. I mean, he wasn't trying to kill Tommy for someone else. He didn't take over the Hotel for someone else. But I get why it feels that way to him...

And his new objective is to create a place for himself, that caters solely to himself and where he's the only inhabitant, which will not end well for him because clearly isolation has not worked this far either

I genuinely enjoyed the stream. It feels like he brought up quite a few of the stagnation problems there have been with the server lately and he integrated them well in his own storyline. I do hope that this is gonna go somewhere though. Maybe get integrated with the sort of bigger storyline we got going on? The one revolving around Las Nevadas and Quackity in particular at some point. Because it feels like season 3 so far has just been a bunch of loose threads that never gave us any kind of payoff.

Would people be interested in reading some sort of Royalty/Bridgerton TNT Duo au? I’ve found a plot I wrote out in my notes all about it and several character descriptions as well. It revolves mainly around a probably Georgian-Era royal family (SBI of course), an underground ring for the members of the ton that had been created years ago where the nobles can get up to all sorts of illegal things, a court/ton of nobility, a forbidden romance for our beloved explosion boys because of class difference (Wilbur is, of course, a prince and Quackity is but a Baron and a casino owner), a whole military along with it, syndicate and tie-ins from canon, plenty lesbian relationships as well as gay ones (something this fandom severely lacks) and just much drama and scandal as the show it’s based on!

The premise is basically Wilbur and Quackity having to keep a famous facade of hating each other amongst the ton whilst hooking up most nights in an establishment Quackity owns called- yes, you guessed it- Las Nevadas. Eventually feelings and a relationship develop, despite Quackity believing most of the way that he’s not worth the love Wilbur tries to give him.

To quote my good friend LBTea- “And there’s the conflict of the class difference and just world difference in general like Wilbur’s a prince but also has this sort of double life and Q’s environment is mostly the second part of that double life so I imagine he’d close himself off to any affection that Wilbur suggests at having because maybe he’d think “I’m only one part of his life and I only see one [or so he thinks] part of Wilbur so I can’t love him and he can’t love me”” Which basically covers a lot of it.

Some secondary storylines are Tubbo, Phil’s adopted son and Schlatt’s biological one, working as an apprentice to Lord George, the royal physician and scientist to develop explosives, Tommy being trained in combat by both Wilbur and Dream and incessantly pissing them off, a young, prodigal Ranboo being trained by all members of the syndicate to hone his academic skills and train his mind, Dame Niki as the court’s resident award-winning florist, seamstress, arsonist, assassin and baker and her long-lost love who she eventually reunites with after years of correspondence over letters, a quote unquote “stoic epic swordsman badass warrior dude” Dream who is simping for a not-at-all interested George, a once-Lord Schlatt who was exiled by Minister Halo for his crimes, leaving nothing but a son in Philza’s care, military leader Techno, and much, much more.

It’ll be a pretty mammoth task but I’ll drop some character descriptions as well so lmk if you’d be interested in reading this!

C!quackity and c!tubbo have one of the most distinct parallel paths in all of dsmp canon and it's crazy to me that everyone doesn't talk about it more. Their storylines were wound together for so long and they suffered so much of the same shit but reacted to it so differently. They're like textbook foils! I will be mourning the loss of the cookie outpost conflict forever. I could write a several thousand word essay just on their opposing feelings about walls and still have more to say.

this! they both worked under schlatt and had first hand experience of his rule, they both lost those closest to them because miscommunication due to their habit of Never Talking About Emotions Ever. they were both lead into violence season one them never would have dreamed of because of the growing destruction around them, they both attempted a 'fresh start' by starting a new country but were ultimately still too scarred by their pasts to ever truly move on, they both found a last glimpse of happiness and humanity in someone else (ranboo and charlie) and those people have now murdered. and then to top it all off, these parallels manifest physically as they were both scarred by techno on different sides of their face visibly showing how their stories are almost identical. like !!!!!!!!!!!!! the literature nerd in me is literally losing her mind I could analyse that for days.

I think a big problem I have with the way Techno chooses to write his character is that his is often directly included in incredibly heavy storylines, like Tommy’s, Dream’s, Quackity’s, the Egg’s, and he likes to write his character having these huge influential moments that affect a lot of shit and a lot of characters (think Tubbo’s), but he never plays his character all that seriously. With his addition into any story he sorta sucks away a lot of narrative weight to anything. He doesn’t let himself be affected by people and things and places, because that’d be too heavy, but he also makes himself be directly involved with them to the point he’s very ingrained in their stories. It just gives me a sense of whiplash.

you’re absolutely right. i didn’t want to say that techno can’t be lighthearted, because he can if he wants to and that’s fine!

but he doesn’t seem to like, choose between being lighthearted and being serious. he makes himself important and serious but then says he doesn’t actually care, and as a result we know not that much about c!techno lore besides the fact that he does things for his ideals/friends and doesn’t care when he hurts people

Sexuality headcanon: Bi with a preference for men.

Gender headcanon: Male, but sometimes he's feeling the nonbinary energy. Still prefers he/him pronouns when asked though.

Ship I have with said character: Dreambur! (Surprising none who follow me.) I really just love their storyline and how they've been revolving around each other since the beginning. Dream admires Wilbur, too, for those who don't remember.

A BROTP I have with said character: Rivals Duo, my beloveds. And Endersmile Duo! I think they're neat! Also Dream Team, but only in AUs or the early days of the SMP. (For now)

A NOTP I have with said character: I have many. So many. But I'm an all-around 'I don't even want them in the same room' sense, Quackity and Dream.

A random headcanon: Oh! An old one from when I first joined the fandom! I used to think that, when wearing his cape and mask, Dream could shape-shift. Not in a person-to-a-horse type way, but in a blobs-are-stretchy-and-squishy type way. It was my way of incorporating Blob!Dream without making him an actual blob.

General Opinion over said character: I want him to get a redemption arc. Obviously, he has done awful and horrifying things, but I believe anyone can change. And he likely won't magically get better once out of prison, but I want to see him heal. It would be a really interesting story arc, too!

L’Sandburg discourse, my beloved. Finally, something I think I can provide a fresh take on.

Now, I’ve spoken about L’Sandberg here before, where I said that the conflict is most like “non-canonical” – and it proves to me once more that the universe hates me, because Io and Behold: canonicity debate amongst the creators and fans.

I think what this problem boils down to is: What does “canon” mean in this context?

While I cannot speak for anyone else, what I mean, when I say “Is this canon?” is “Will this end up mattering?”

Samsung Smart Fridge was declared canon by Wilbur and – though I love her dearly – she will never matter or have any impact on the storyline, Philza’s character or Wilbur’s character. Her designation as canonical is meaningless.

And the debate, I think, that’s happening around L’Sandberg is much the same for fans or content creators. It’s not whether or not this will be arbitrarily given the label “canon”. The question is whether or not we should consider the actions these characters take as congruent and meaningful for their arcs overall – if this will intersect with Dream’s storyline, the Egg’s storyline or the Syndicate’s storyline in a substantial way.

Now, whether or not something ends up mattering can only really be said in retrospect. L’Sandberg could be Season 3’s Dreamon Hunter: a cute, little side-thing that will never be brought up again in any meaningful capacity and thus will not ever matter – regardless of whether or not we slap the label “canon” on it.

The only concern I see is when half the people involved treat it jokingly and the other half treat it seriously. Because then we get into early Season 2-terrority of lacking coordination and confusion for the fans. I’m specifically thinking of El Rapid’s independence “war” and how dubiously that was treated until Quackity tied it all together with his Las Nevadas-series.

I would just want the creators to know what they want this to be – especially with the establishment of a government and the maybe involvement of the Syndicate – rather than stumbling into greater implications and then wondering why people were dissatisfied with the storyline.

i want power couple villains c!dnf sooo bad and part of that would be them working together to take one of c!quackity's canon lives. it's beginning to look like if c!dream propositioned c!george he would be on his side because like. at the end of the day he always has been and now he has a ton of obvious guilt about feeling like he wasn't there for him despite all the conflict they've had. dng just have so much potential to take their characters' intertwined storylines in such an interesting direction and i want them to do it so bad. c!qnfwt lore my absolute beloved please come back

yass because here is the thing c!karl even is more likely to want peace over war. and c!george loves c!dream. c!sapnap is going to be at war with his heart and his morals. and c!quackity is smack dab in the middle. there is so much potential for drama and i hope they capitalize on it

I find it interesting how each Feral boy is with DreamSMP lore and how they approach it if they do. This is also some ideas and improvements. This is all my opinion and you don't have to agree or disagree.

Disclaimer this will be me using comparisons as it makes it easier to explain. This isn't me saying one person is better than another. Some might be negative points, some will be positive so no critical tags sorry. Even with me once again expressing my strong negative opinions on Tales. The idea is good the execution is not.

This is based off of multiple things; Character story, Character traits, Lore?, Plot holes, Fan theories, General enjoyment, Viewer impact, Clear goals etc

Dream seems to enjoy it the most as he offers to join everyone's lore as well as helping when he can and also trying to include others into "main" lore He also has managed to create a character with a full storyline without not once streaming from his perspective. He's very good at doing things that may seem small at the time but ends up having a huge impact. He manages to have a full storyline and a complete character but still leaves room for theories and headcanons for people to add on (Dreamon my beloved 💕). Because we don't see his perspective we don't know his intentions or goals so he's made his character detailed but mysterious which is actually quite difficult as he's the main character (Sorry Ranboo but it's true)

When it comes to acting he's very good at staying in character even when things get a bit scuffed obviously there's a few moments of breaking character but they're not him trying to get others to break character with jokes and voices they're genuine fuck ups (Accidentally blowing himself up and breaking character to both clear up confusion about it being canon and to switch from a tense atmosphere to give the audience a break for a bit and breaking character to say his Twitch handle after accidentally breaking TOS so George didn't get banned)

Dream said he's got a storyline from his perspective and it's all prerecorded which I'm excited for as I think it's going to be a bunch of flashbacks which could expand both character backstory but also create more storylines for people to bounce off of. For example if he did a flashback with some of the OG members they could build from that. It could give more of an explanation of why he changed. Essentially Dream's lore could be a bunch of behind the scene clips giving more lore for characters like him discussing the egg or prison with Sam, him and Punz talking more about the deal, him and Techno , him and Puffy, him and Ranboo. Dream is the main character because literally ever other character can do a flashback scene with him and build a whole storyline from it. For example Dreamon Hunters can be bought back in which already was linked to the Egg by Fundy. To sum it up Dream's lore from his perspective can not only made way for multiple new theories and headcanons but also is the easiest way for other characters to have more dimension even with a 20 second clip. And it gives more context to Dream as a character. Disclaimer this isn't me saying people can only be dimensional characters because of Dream I'm saying that Dream is the easiest way for someone to start a storyline that they can then work on if they want.

Quackity can do lore if he puts his mind to it. However it also has to rely on multiple things. Who the lore is with?, How serious is it? And What's the vibe? Basically if Quackity is with people who don't do serious lore or people who crack jokes often then his lore won't have that good quality lore I know it can be. For example Quackity's lore with Sam and Dream couldn't be replicated with most other people on the server. I can't even imagine if Karl and George were trying to do the prison lore. Even in Quackity's big stream you can see this difference Schlatt's bit dragged on and often got derailed because whilst they were both interested in the lore they weren't invested. The bit with BBH was a bit all over the place because they were both talking over each other and you could sort of tell it had little to no script or end goal but this was also partly down to them both being very into lore. They both tried to stick to their pre-existing character traits which clash Vs the Prison which had a clear script even if it was vague. Go to prison, convince Sam to bring weapons, Go torture Dream. Sam, Dream and Quackity are 3 of the most mysterious characters who have no clear plans, you can't predict their moves which is why any lore with them is good because they don't have a character personality that they have to stick to. For example Dream is known to adapt for each person so he could be nice one minute and demon child next.

Once Quackity has broken character he used to completely lose it. The vibe was gone however I was highly impressed with how he and Sam managed to keep the vibe when the prison broke. Previously Quackity would have lost his shit and derailed everything. I do think Quackity's strongest lore point is going with other strong lore members or just being on his own.

George and Sapnap I'm going to sort of link together. They both seen to be a bit meh on lore. I think it genuinely depends on what mood they're in. I also think that they'll both be much more comfortable doing lore that's prefilmed Vs live on stream.

Sapnap is very good at bouncing off of people so I think he'd be really good at lore with most people. I think Sapnap could definitely capitalise on the angst of being the abandoned one who is loyal to death but doesn't have the same in return. Like Dream both Sapnap and George are good at voice manipulation meaning if they want sad angst they can sound upset. Sapnap seems more tempted to do on the spot lore so he can't back out so that's another option. Like Sapnap has multiple headcanons handed to him and I know this bitch can act his little yeehaw soul out. Even if it's short clips talking to people like Punz or Sam who he seems closest to.

George has this strange ability to kickstart ideas for lore and then let's others build from it. (Also his ability for all of his lore to have a LGBTQ subtext like pack it up Dean Winchester) I genuinely don't think it's intentional however I think with a bit of thought he can have a general well rounded character. I know he did that lore the other day and has started to build up a character background however I think he's better with less serious lore people as I don't think he can do serious mood streams like Dream or Ranboo but can potentially hold it long enough for a bit like Techno or Phil. I think George's weakness is he'd rather someone else guide him through lore instead of doing it himself. Man really doesn't like being the main character.

Karl seems to want to do lore but doesn't have the ability to create it. He has all these ideas but can't form a proper story about it. I used to have this issue where I had all these cool bullet point ideas but I could never form a cool idea with them and I think Karl has the same issue. In my opinion if Karl does want to continue with Tales and bullet point ideas I think he needs help formulating a bit more of a story. Once again like Sapnap and George I think he excels in prerecorded lore however it's also either heavily scripted or he's having his hand held through it. Which is fine but that's why a lot of people can't connect Tales to DreamSMP as his streams are the only ones that are heavily scripted and it gives off a different vibe. Karl is also too bubbly to crack down on serious lore which is fine not all lore needs to be serious and angsty however he tries to make it deep. I personally think that Karl should capitalise on this uwu soft boy persona he has. No deep lore. Obviously choosing memory loss time travel involves serious moments but I think he needs to split it more between dark angst and wholesome Karlnapity moments. What I mean is that Karl on DreamSMP and Tales Karl seem like 2 completely different characters that just so happen to share a name. I think the prerecorded bit at the end needs to begin to add his DreamSMP personality a bit more.

TLDR: Dream is strongest lore, Quackity works best with serious lore with people invested or on his own with a bit of direction, Sapnap and George will probably be better off doing prerecorded lore as it seems more comfortable for them, Karl struggles to put his ideas into a storyline and would benefit from doing less heavily scripted pre recorded lore to make his storyline cohesive Vs a bunch of one shots.

To sum it up Dream is Hot and should bring back Dreamons, Quackity needs to work more with serious lore people, Sapnap should Capitalise on his loyalty trait and constant abandonment for maximum angst, George should cry on command more, Karl needs spend more time writing instead of paying for builds.

IT’S TOMMYS ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY ON THE SERVER! So here is my promised appreciation post:

Tommy honestly did such a great fucking job with his character like it’s no secret that the majority of us consider the exile arc to be the best arc of the Dream SMP overall and he did that at fucking 16! He was able to portray and act out such, I would say, difficult topics and impressed the whole fucking audience with it’s accuracy showing that he cared so much about this (Dream was also so good in his role, they both did amazing jobs!). Let’s also not forget about the aftermath with c!Tommy still being confused about how he stood to c!Dream and his reaction to seeing Logstedshire during the bedrock bros.

THE FUCKING DISC WAR FINALE! Which was at least for me perfect and it still is among the top 5 of highest Viewership in the last 356 days which is so fucking impressive as well! Anyway back to the finale, it really was just beautiful it had it’s light-hearted joke-y moments but also his many very emotional moments, which all didn’t feel out of place. AND THE ENDING! When they finally (at least for then) just...won. There weren’t any strings at that time attached, they just won and the scene with Ghost-Wilbur *chefs kiss* PERFECT!

In season 3 even though he streamed a lot less, Tommys acting and storyline was still amazing to see and watch, like the week when he didn’t stream and we were all wondering how horrible he must be feeling and then we come back and he is just annoying c!Dream? Yes great start to a stream that will later turn very very dark. The aftermath of when he was resurrected with the being afraid of taking damage and then the Trauma confrontation Stream were some of my favourite moments if I am honest.

But even before exile cc!Tommy was already great with his acting like when c!Tommy gave over the discs for independence, when c!Wilbur spiraled and really just during the whole Pogtopia era and then on freaking November 16th, his reaction to c!Wilburs death, then him trying to stop c!Techno from spawning the Withers, just one good moment after the other.

Anyway but the gremlin child is not only great because of his acting and writing oh no! I have more appreciation :D

Tommy’s season 1 Videos made it a lot easier for someone to get in the Dream SMP during Season 1 & 2, like now you have to somehow find an efficient way to watch season 2 and the beginnings of Season 3 if you start now but trust me Tommys videos were a really good starting point and are still really good for season 1 perspective.

But the mod videos....my beloved. The mod videos are always so good and I just eagerly await them each time! We also got so many good moments from them like one that instantly comes to mind is Tommy using a fishing rod to pull Phil towards him only for Phil to fall into the Lava and them having to cheat because Phil has all there good items, or during the high jumping one where we had the grandma bit with Quackity jumping into “heaven”. Also the extra content of various dynamics we got. Like we don’t often get like Philza & Quackity content outside of the mod videos, same with George & Ranboo and we also got a lot of allium duo conetnt (which as an allium duo enthusiast is always a big win)!

Now though one of my favourite Tuesday traditions....the VLOGS! First of all they alway come out for me, for around the time I get home, so I’m always really excited to finally get home on tuesdays. But they are so much fun...like remember when Phil just said that he had to check in with Life insurance for some of that stuff and we were all wondering like “huh? What has the child planned that you would need life insurance?” And then the first vlog was them jumping out of a freaking plane?? Good times, good times. I couldn’t even really say which one was my favourite, I would probably say Rollercoaster one or the jumping out of a plane one (just because we had alone the waiting time where Tubbo was just suffering, there went suspicious smoke off in the near distance and the guides (?) were just messing with them the whole time). But yeah they are always great and really fun to watch and genuinely one of my favourite comfort videos.

Anyway tl;dr: Tommy is a huge inspiration and genuinely so fucking talented and smart. You can really see that he cares for how his content is made and how it is perceived by the audience, he has done such a great job with his character on the Dream SMP, acting and co-writing one of the most heartbreaking and true to reality storylines on the whole freaking server and also portraying Trauma not only with the “easy” sides but also the more “ugly” sides, the lashing out for example. So yeah he has such a bright fucking future and I am genuinely excited to see it.

To quote Wilbur Soot: “The world’s not ready for Tommy. He will do incredible things”

....so that was a whole deal am i right? excuse any weirdness with this cos i’m kinda shaky rn, but here’s a recap for today’s (24th jan) tales from the smp: The Lost City of Mizu! under the cut smile :] my own interpretations/ things that aren’t explicitly told to be canon/ left to be inferred i’ve marked with italics.

Why show all the skins again when I can let someone else gather them? /j Here’s a post with the skins of all the characters. The cast is Karl, Quackity, BBH, Ranboo, and Dream; playing characters Isaac, Cletus, Benjamin, Charles, and Ranbob, respectively.

The episode starts with the fishermen - Isaac, Cletus, Benjamin, and Charles - setting out on a fishing expedition, before discovering a book that, among other exposition, tells the fishermen the coords of the Lost City of Mizu. Also of note is the fact that the author tells the fishermen that “I [the author] know you [the fishermen] but you don’t know me” and it’s signed with the letter ‘K’, suggesting that c!Karl left the book for them to find.

Once they arrive at the city, they find a book that calls Mizu “an underwater city of beauty” and that they can “get up close and personal with all your favorite characters from the Disc Wars”. They enter the city and meet a person who identifies themself as Ranbob, who later adds that he is a descendent of Ranboo. Despite being a descendent of Ranboo, Ranbob’s appearance differs from his ancestor’s. While Ranbob has both the black enderman skin and the white other-half skin, the arrangement is different, and he has yellow and purple eyes instead of Ranboo’s green and red ones. Endermen used to have green eyes before they were purple, so perhaps it’s related to that? Ranbob tells the fisherman that Mizu has been “abandoned for so long, other than me”, but that he wasn’t around when it was built. During most of the episode, he acts as a tour guide of sorts, showing around the fishermen.

The rooms they visit are themed around the different people involved in the current day DSMP storyline, however many things are incorrect suggesting things got misremembered or changed over time. According to Mizu’s history:

George was the longest lasting king of the SMP and worshipped by his followers. However, Eret killed him, as they were a tyrant who tried to take over.

Ranboo and his bloodline were bookkeepers and scholars. Ranboo in particular, was one of the greatest scholars, due to his supreme memory and writing everything down. He is also said to have chosen the side of a traitor due to his not choosing a side.

Sapnap was a fierce warrior on the Dream SMP. He had a large love for pets, and started the Pet War over defending them. He was also said to be so strong he could bench press mountains. Sapnap has a larger than usual bed due to his many women. (and historians said that him Karl and quackity were just very close friends /j)

Mizu is uncertain if Fundy was a person or a pet, with some people seeing him as a great warrior and some seeing him as Tommy’s pet (i hate it here i hate it here i hate-).

Quackity is very “happy-go-lucky even though there are so many bad things happening around him”. He was a well known bard, a “prolific nudist”, pulled many pranks, and idolised Skeppy. Quackity was also known for being “hyper optimistic”, apparently because he was so dumb he didn’t realise the bad things happening around him.

Skeppy had some kind of diamond poisoning that made him blue, but he sometimes changed colors to red or yellow. He was also known to be best friends with BBH, “if a little obsessed with him”.

BBH was known for prolific cursing and casting spells on people, including the enchantment “lan-gu-age” which prevented the target from speaking. He also apparently had excessive amounts of porn on his hard drive, but I think this is just a(n unfunny) joke from Dream and so I will simply Pretend I Do Not See.

Attached to BBH’s room is a secret room with green and purple carpets and beds, lots of books, and a picture of the cartoon Kids Next Door. Mizu’s scholars don’t know who this character is but it seems likely to be Karl, with confusion about him due to his time travelling.

Tubbo and Tommy share a room, with Tubbo known to be the leader and strongest of the Manberg warriors and Tommy his most loyal ally and follower. Tubbo is also known to like nature and particularly bees (which Mizu thinks you eat?). Tommy is known to “have a problem worshipping discs”, but the discs shown are Cat on the ceiling and 13 above the bed.

During their exploration, they also find several books with hints pointing to how Mizu’s residents met their downfall, including poisoned soil, decreasing food supplies, air filtration and oxygen problems, lacking energy production, and “strange sightings around the east wing”. Additionally, one of the walls is broken and Ranbob patches it up with TNT, as that’s “the only block he had to clog it”.

The last place Ranbob leads the group to is the Tree Dome, which contains a large custom tree, swings, and a bench with jukebox. Ranbob disappears, and the fishermen find a secret room key. The also spot a chest at the very top of the tree, and cc!Karl opens an audience poll to decide who climbs the tree, the result of which is Cletus. He climbs the tree to the the chest before Ranbob reappears and sets the tree on fire, saying that “no one lives after coming [to the city]”, and blows up the tree, killing Cletus. The other 3 fishermen make it out and hide in Skeppy’s room to read the book dropped by Cletus. The book says that the secret room key lock(?) is hidden in the main hall, and confirms Ranbob’s message that “once in the City of Mizu, there is no escape”.

They find the secret room, which contains a lava parkour leading to a key to unlock another door on the other side of the room. The audience votes again, deciding that Benjamin should attempt the parkour, which of course he falls off of and dies. Isaac successfully completes the parkour and brings back the final room key. (if you aren’t afraid of that wording, you really should be)

The final room is Dream’s room, with several sets of diamond armor, a diorama of Dream, and a ellipse pattern on the wall that resembles Blocks. Ranbob reappears and tells the Isaac and Charles that everyone in Mizu had an idol that they worshipped, and that his was Dream. Isaac asks if Dream was a good man, to which Ranbob says that he was. Ranbob tells them a final time that “nobody leaves” Mizu, before killing them both.

The stream cuts to black and plays a remix of Dearly Beloved while cc!Karl changes his skin and changes the set. When the stream shows again, the stream is focused on c!Karl. He walks through a cave to a room decorated with a purple and green carpet, and books and posters for the Tales episodes of Legends of Gogtopia and The Village that Went Mad, however is missing the poster from the Beach Episode. c!Karl writes a book that recaps in blurb form the events of The Lost City of Mizu, labels it as such and places it under the relevant poster. He also writes a diary entry which is labeled “Diary entry #1”, which mentions that he remembers less every time he time travels, however that he “has to keep doing [his] part” to “right some wrongs”. He ends it with “dont forget who you are” and signs it “Diary #1”. c!Karl then goes outside and goes into F5, showing that the colors on the front of his hoodie are reversed; a purple spiral on green background, rather than the reverse that is it normally. cc!Karl cuts to black again, lets the music finish, then ends stream.

(then i spend the next 10 minutes freaking out abt it, cos wtf was that that was so good-)
