does anyone remember that theory someone made that the book c!dream made a deal with schlatt for was the script for the lore. and that's why he became so obsessed with narratives and main characters or whatever, he knew that he wasnt the main character of the story and that tommy was

Ok, I recently wrote an essay [here] talking about the definition and duties of civil engineering as well as the ethics because of the brain rot @swordfright gave me with calling Dream Sam’s ultimate engineering project. So, because I actually am a civil engineer I took it upon myself to design the title and summary of quantities sheets just like I do at work for roads but with Dream as the project instead. And in honor of angst day sponsor by @sixteenth-day-event, I figured I’d share it because I feel like it kinda works for the prison of the mind prompt.

“Sam’s “ultimate engineering project” he deemed too damaged like a bumpy road or crumbling building that wasn’t worthy of patching and filling in the cracks or reinforcing, that’s too eroded to be fixed and preserved. So, Sam strived to tear him down to the bedrock so he could remake, remold, and reengineer Dream according to his design for the common safety, public health and well-fair.”

{These are very similar to the actual sheets I make day to day, which I shall not share for the sake of doxing my location, but yea pretty much everything has a significance. Some of it doesn’t necessarily make sense but that was because I was more so taking inventory of what we see in lore (so you know I counted ;) lol)}

Hi hi hello, here's my gift for @titsoutfortntduo for the @mcythorrorgiftexchange !! (there is audio to this but it isn't necessary for the understanding) (More info + some individual shots under the cut!!)

The premise here is that this is an AU where Tommy went through Exile (or something similar) with Dream, and was rescued and taken in by the detective duo Quackity and Sam for questioning. Whether or not Dream is really there or if it's merely Tommy's past coming back to haunt him is up for debate :} I hope you like the sort of analog horror vibes I went for here, this was really fun to make !!

Pandora's Vault, but Sam hears Dream arguing with himself for hours, sometimes loudly shouting Tommy's name. Pandora's Vault, but Dream is petting a nonexistent cat, not understanding why Sam is looking at him so worriedly. Pandora's Vault, but hallucination faces are getting more and more blurred because he can't remember exactly what his friends looked like. Do you have any headcanons that are true for most/all of your fanworks even if it’s not always noticeable?

I mean there are a few - but I think the one that goes across the board are Techno’s earrings.

So in all my drawings (save for like 2 that are from other people’s AUs) Techno has two earrings on his left ear.

There are a few instances where the earrings are different - one was in prison (where they were confiscated)

And the other was from before Techno joined the DSMP (The Duel)

In my headcanon while Piglins are all about gold, in terms of jewelry they wear very little - save for ceremonial purposes. (Not a great idea to wear something valuable when you’re constantly fighting, more things for the enemy to grab) So when they do have permanent jewelry it’s of great significance. It shows that not only are you making a statement but you have the battle chops to back it up.

For Techno these earrings represent two people - for whom he has great respect and who have saved his life and never betrayed him. The first is obviously Phil, and the second one is Dream, the piercing was done after Dream saves him from the Butcher Army.

I present to you, Ajax & Alala!

For you, anon, Chimera genes are quite strong, and so are piglin, but with their case, Dream's genes tend to be more noticeable, though the only one who doesn't really present a lot of piglin instincts is Alala, she does have a little bit of brute in her. Ajax on the other hand has a better equilibrium in his genes, though his piglin nature tends to be a bit stronger occasionally.

XD decided to help Dream for different reasons, but one of them its definitely to see how chaotic the server would become with the mixture of two powerful warriors in little beasts.

How did XD help them get the pups? I'll leave it to the imagination ;).

and Phil? well...

A little snippet from the next chapter of monster's don't deserve hugs but you aren't a monster :)

With the immediate threat gone, the blonde breathed a sigh of relief and went limp in his friends’ arms. 

Without the panic clouding his judgment he was quickly able to realize how stupid his worries probably were. Over the many weeks he’d spent in Kinoko his friends proved to him over and over again that they care, that they would not condemn him to the prison ever again. Unlike Puffy, who went back to fretting over the server’s beloved “child,” they stood by him and glared at the other two with disdain. 

Oh and what a sight the two made! It made Dream’s heart ache in all the worst ways. Puffy, his mom, was hugging the teen, asking if he’s okay over and over again. She didn’t even look at him, as if he was not even there. She moved on, she had her perfect new duckling. How could he compete with Tommy? Tommy was loved by everyone, he was- loud, annoying, bratty - he was Tommy. 

And what was Dream? A monster, tyrant, manipulator … he was twisted and dark, unfit for the nickname Puffy chose. And even if he wasn't all those things anymore … he was broken. Who would want something broken like him? It was logical that she moved on, found someone newer, better, worth her time. 

(oh no, blob is not having a good time! Hehe, fun. This chapter probably won't be out for at least a few weeks but I promised @mistythedritten some nice hurt blob so here he is! I might post another snipped at some point dunno yet :)

i've had people ask plenty questions about my au where george kills dream i guarantee you people will not care and be interested if you just explain what the au is about LMAO

i'm actually pretty curious myself i just don't get many of the details

oh! i actually posted a quick rundown of the au a bit ago here but i really should make a better post to explain it.

basically, the concept is that c!sam immediately makes changes to how the prison works in that he doesn't allow visitors, at all, and he's the only guard ever allowed to see or visit c!dream.

i love playing with the fact c!dream wears a mask and how no one knew what he looked like it's so fascinating to me i will use this trope over and over.

the only person other than sam that ever steps foot in the cell, is c!quackity for torture purposes. when torture seems to go no where and also goes, uh, too far and dream almost actually dies, sam removes him from the prison. he brings dream to his island. where he's built a replica prison cell in his home. it's weird. quackity is eventually allowed back to torture dream but sam sits in on the sessions.

overall, dream is locked up for about two years. it's awful. sam tries to 'fix' dream which goes about as well as you'd think.

dream eventually drugs sam with the same stuff sam has been using on him and manages to escape. he gets cornered by pillagers, rescued by c!techno who thinks he's just... a random bunny girl and dream kinda latches onto that as a way to be safe. convinces techno to keep his existence a secret except from the syndicate which they do.

the whole thing deals with some pretty heavy topics of torture and misgendering and general abuse but most of the focus is on dream finding a place to heal with c!techno etc! like, going from the lowest points to actual peace and happiness even if it takes years to get there.
